I bought voltas ac (1 ton split 125 ey-r) on 14th april 2016 from the great eastern (Habra outlet) and promised that my ac will be delivered in 2-3 days maximum!
Now they clearly denied that and they said that ac is not available !

This is absolutely misleading information for which i am being harassed!

I called voltas customer service ([protected]) and they said this ac is not out of stock! I have that voice recorder.
I visited this outlet couple of times to find out about any recent updates but now they asked me to buy another product!
I believe no one is doing any favours on any one and hence i expect professionalism!

Kindly look in this matter please!

    I have purchased one carrier superia -5s/2.0 ton split ac from great eastern appliances pvt ltd, asansol branch vide invoice no as/sa/1617/00058 on 05/04/2016, delivery was promised by 07th april 2016, but product was delivered on 13th april 2016 that to on several request and perusals. The ac was purchased on the terms and condition with the sales person amlan dey that they will uninstall the my old ac and reinstall the new ac purchased in that place and old ac uninstalled will be installed at my other room for service charge of rs. 800/- extra. And the new ac installation will be free from any charge. On 14th april on several request finally they send the installation person at 5 pm in the evening to install the ac purchased. The mechanics demanded 10ft wire to connect the outdoor unit to plug point and on providing the wire they uninstalled the old ac and reinstalled the new one. And when i asked for re-installation of my old ac the mechanics said they come on the next day morning and install them i.E. On 15th april. Now till date, my old ac is not being installed, which was their duty as agreed on time of purchase of the new ac, i am tried to contact the mechanic several times all time they are saying that they have other works on hand and can't come now neither they are saying by what time they will come, the mechanic said to me contact the store they work on their direction and not mine. And on contacting the sales person mr. Amlan dey, he is citing various reasons for old ac not being installed and does not provide by what time it will be finally installed and every time he give fresh new excuse for old ac not being installed. Now it's has become very much pathetic and pain full from dealing with such person who at time of purchase make great promise and when it finally comes to deliver they fail miserably for which i have to suffer a lot and go through mental trauma and waste of valuable time behind those unscrupulous person to get the work done.

      I bought Voltas air conditioner on 11th April 2016 from the great eastern ( tollygunge branch, kolkata) and was promised that my AC will be installed in 2-3 days maximum!
      I'm still waiting for someone to come and install the AC and visited this outlet couple of times to find out about any recent updates !
      Now they clearly denied that they ever promised to install the AC in 2-3 days and informed that it depends only on Voltas company when they will send the technician for installation!
      This is absolutely misleading information for which m being harassed !
      I stay abroad and will leave the country in next few days ! I don't want my family to deal with this problem and seek for a solution before I leave the country !
      I believe no one is doing any favour on any one and hence I expect professionalism please!
      Kindly look into this matter please!

      Purchased Voltas 185ZYR/1.5Ton Split AC from Great Estern Appliances Dalhousie Branch at Kolkata under Invoice No. DH/SA/1617/01377 DT/ 14/04/16. AC machine lying uninstalled for a week since none came to install this AC machine though Great Eastern co. told for Free standard installation with a free installation coupon. I had contacted your call centre from 22/4/16 till today for five times for the installation of it. They assured me to take necessary action but none came to install it. On 22/4/16 I again lodged a complain stating all these to this website, But still the AC is lying packed & uninstalled. Voltas service centre at Howrah (when contacted over phone ) they are saying that no information has been received from Voltas call centre or Great Eastern Co. and claiming for Rs. 1500/ for standard installation. Please take immediate action for installation of this AC machine and give me information for it.         I have called numerous time on those numbers which are mentoned on the bill however nobody answered the call, i have also tried to call the customer service number but still the same is this a way you deal with the customers.when i have already paid the amount of AC installation why you people did not mention the date properly.In terms of taking money you people are very quick and in terms of delivary you people are not.I have wasted all my time staying at my property but you people did not turn up, i want to know when the installation will be done and i need a compleate refund of of wasting my time at home as i get paid for working in hourly basis.any further feedback will be appreciated.

        Bought one 2 ton AC of Voltas on 11.04.16 . from your showroom at Gorabazar, Dumdum, . Received it on 12.04. Even after several attempts, failed to contact helpline of Great Eastern or that of Voltas. Showroom manager failed to give me any docket no of Voltas Service center( which could help me to complain at Voltas). Till now no one contacted me for installation.           I purchased a godrej gsc 18fg bng/1.5 ton split ac on 9th apr from great eastern appliances pvt ltd (Branch p-273, manicktala min road, kankurgachi, kolkata-700054). As per the discussion with sales person (Saikat rana #[protected]) during the purchase, it was promised the delivery and the installation will done before 11th april(Monday) eod or max by 12th april (Tuseday )morning hours. But it didnt happen. I had to call up multiple times to available contacts to get the status of the delivery, but never got any suitable response. I was always convinced "i am looking into this...It will be done within few hours". Finally i got the delivery on 13th after making several calls (At leat10 times).
          Now i am moving pillar to post to get the installation done. This time the answer i am getting " already raised the request, company technician will call you...Raising another request..". He didnt share me the request/reference number of the request. Now i am not sure what to do!!!

          I am requesting the concern to team to take some action. Firstly these sales team should be trained on customer handling, should not commit any thing which cant kept. At least they should intimate the status to the customer in case there is any problem/delay in delivery. This type unethical behavior is irritating but also impacting company's image

            Dear sir,

            This is to bring to your notice that i had purchased a 32inch samsung led tv and a sony home theatre from your great eastern howrah kajipara branch on 21st march-2016 vide invoice no. – hw/sa/1516/14806 in the name of sangeeta ganguly.

            I always prefer to purchase home appliance from great eastern since last 6-7 years and more than 12 items already purchased from your showroom.
            Last 2 occasions including this time i have faced your ridiculous service and harassment by the great eastern - howrah branch.
            Though i have purchased both the items on[protected] but after several follow ups with your sales executive mr. Madan biswas the tv got delivered after 10 days. Then again follow ups went on for sending engineer for installation the same which at last installed after 19 days of purchase...!
            The sony home theatre got delivered after 14 days with several reminders to your very active sales executive madan biswas.

            But the best part of your esteem service is that even after 22 days the sony home theater has not been installed till date... I am speech less...
            When ever i called mr. Madan, he says i am associated with samsung and for sony contact mr. Sanjay. When i called mr. Sanjay, he says i don’t know anything and i will call you back but never got back to me and switch off his mobile for the entire day (11th april).
            When i called mr. Madan on 11th he says, i can’t do anything and disconnect the call on my face. He does not know how to behave with a lady customer. He does not have curtsey to complete the call or responsibility to take ownership. I am very very offended with his behavior. How can a sales executive behave like that with a lady customer??? Do you conduct training on this segments? Why your customer service manager at howrah branch is not showing any leadership quality and train them properly. This type of sales executive not only destroying your customer base but your goodwill too.
            Do your howrah branch manager take pain to check the delivery and installation date with invoice date periodically?... I doubt...
            I had purchased both the items keeping our bengali new year in mind which is on 14th april. I have organized a small get together at my residence but if the same is not being installed before that then the main purpose will be destroyed and you are the main culprits for the same.

            I am very frustrated with your ridiculous service and harassment by the great eastern - howrah branch.

                Free gift not delivered and bad behaviour of salesman
                I Tarun Baran Mitra purchased a Panasonic LED TV on 24th February. The company offered free Indian team jersy as gift. But till date I have not got the gift. I made repeated calls to the company salesman MD. Nasir, but he has been very uncooperative and rude. Why do you make such offers when you have to dupe your costumers?                   I Shaukat Ali purchased a hitachi inverter AC on 24 january. The company offered free massager to senior citizens . But till date i have not got the gift. I made repeated calls to the company sales girl miss smita begnani but she has been very uncooperative and rude.                       I bought a godrej microwave on[protected] and was supposed to get the delivery on[protected]. However I got it today but not the complete kit. On enquiring the same at the store, the sales head behaved rudely, disconnecting my call on purpose. No concrete information is provided to me on when I would get the complete product. Its high time that well trained n properly educated staff be hired by a reputed brand like yours. I was shocked when I was asked about my financial status. I am still confused ..hope u reach me at the earliest.

                        I have been purchasing house hold appliances from great eastern appliances, Haldia since long. Recently I have purchased a bajaj water heater from them, which was charged Rs 300/- more than another nearby local shop for the same brand, same model and at same time. The next day I met the manager and had a long cross talk and under stood that they believe in bargaining. As I did not ask for a special consideration, they charged more. The manager wanted to mean that I should be happy that they did not charge me the MRP. He wanted me to give a gift to ressolve the issue. How ever I refused the same. I am posting the scan copy of the cash memos for comparison.

Before buying this I asked them are you going to deliver and install this Refrigerator (Samsung RR21J2824px/212 LTR REF) by 16th Nov, 2015, They assured me they will do it so on good faith I have payed full amount money by SBI debt Card.They failed to deliver it 16th not only that Ravi is not pick up ing his phone.Now 17th Nov they Delivered and pick up old one it is 24hrs after severl request they did not install. Due to that my Sr. citizen mother's all food got spoiled, She alone in her home with out prope rfood. She is in great difficulty. I am a Scientist I came back in my job. Due to Great Eastern Appliances Pvt Ltd 19/2, Gariahat Road, Dhakuria, Kolkata - 700031, My Sr.citizen mother is in half feed last 12hrs her all stored food got spoiled. Pl take necessary action as soon as possible.Pl save our helpless Sr. Citizen by canceling their valid licences.

                          Great eastern dhakuria is the worst electronics shop i have ever visited.My uncle bought an led tv on republic day and there was an offer of free gift of body massager for senior citizens.Its really diffuclt for a person aged 75 to visit the branch again and again.Today is march 20 and uncle bought the led on 26 th jan till now not received the gift item.Its not about the gift costing rupees 1200 aprox its about their goodwill and i am really aorry to say there srevice is relly worst and mainly the seles man named hironmoy.Never buy any thing from dhakuria gerat eastern branch.They will not keep up your expectation.

                          i also stand by the request of eliza chakroborty and want neccsary steps to be taken against them .so that in future they will not dare to harass any seneor citizens in future. due to age factor my uncle dont have that patience that we do.so i have even visted there branch and no response from them only askinh me to give them time and they dont have stock.so from 2 months they dont have the item they attact consumer to their branch!! pls do some thing my uncle has already lost faith and has given up.so pls give them warning r the best way to treat them a lesson is to cancel their license.
                          Same problem here for me, I have purchased Bosch washing machine on 19th September, but still today my material hasn't been delivered, when today I have called the executive, she told that she has no idea when the product will get delivered, it can even take 1 month also
                          I also purchased a faulty mobile phone from the same shop. Visited Consumer forum Kolkata for amicable redressal but of no use. Now filing a complaint against them in Consumer court. This is the only way.
                          beware of the shop!!
                          they try to push stocks on demo/display as new stock even after telling them not to send it.
                          After getting delivery of the stock (that comes with improper packaging)when u visit the store again and on seeing the demos stock not in place, you challenge them, they say, the demo stock was given to some other customer the same day just a few hours back..what a coincidence!!
                          On asking to show the customer detail, they say, it cannot be shown...

                          And for your info, placing the order at the store, getting the stock delivered, one more new customer comes in a hurry and buys the demo stock...all happen in the same day within 6 hours...what a co-incidence!! would love to believe the story but very difficult to believe!

                          So, buy at your own risk!!
                          Worst experience. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE.

                          I ordered an AC from here. After 15 days they informed they don't have the model we ordered. We were forced to change the model that too delivered another more 15 days with a faulty broken outdoor. After 7 days while installation, we came to know that the outdoor was faulty. The installation person placed an order to replace the outdoor. That came in another 15 days.
                          After these many days of harrasment, somehow we could install the AC. And immediately after 2 days the remote stopped working.

                          That got replaced in another 7 days.
                          We got the fully functional AC after 2 months of full cash payment of order placement.

                          Now the harrasment started to get the original bill, which the delivery persons forgot to carry. And the shop could not produce it after 2 months and 20 days. And the drama is going on till now.

                          I have no words to explain the harrasment we faced from the casual employees of this shop. I just want to see which bloody fools are seating in the management. Who takes more than 2 months time to produce an original bill of a fully paid sale and don't take any action against their employees for this kind of insane acts.

After followup with your staff, the installation took place on 10/11/2015 with an installation charge of Rs. 1100/- vide Service Report No, 4252 dt 10/11/2015 of Voltas Authorised Service Partner M/s Moon Light Refrigeration & AC Service Centre - Bhubaneswar(Odisha). Requesting you to refund the Installation Charge Of Rs. 1100/- considering the PUJA FESTIVAL SCHEME . Further I want to mention that, till date I have not yet informed about the result of your DAILY LUCKY DRAW SCHEME of Puja Festival pertaining to my Voltas 1.5 ton Air Conditioner purchase on 08/11/2015 from your BHubaneswar (Odisha) show room.                               AC machine bought from the outlet 20 old court house st.kol-700001 invoice number DH/SA/1516/12041.the product was bought with a promise to be installed at our residence with two days of date of purchase against full payment.the product was required for a patient at house under instructions of doctor.the machine has not yet been installed and the purpose of buying the machine has been forfeited.on repeated cal from our end they asked us to buy another machine as the same was out of stock.we request for cash back.

                                  Dear Management, Received bad behaviour from the manager(Mrinmoy Saha) of Greate Eastern Jessor Road. I bought two products 1. Hitachi AC. 2. Godrej Refrigerator. The representive confirm me a gift while I was buying the product. After the product delivered I visited to Great Eastern and asked it. Then I was ignored and received bad behaviour from Mrinmoy Saha.

                                    I bought a Samsung Triangle Inverter AC on 8 March 2015, It was showing error from 27 May 2015in the the indoor unit.I have called .I have called them uncountable times but they don't receive it.We have called the Samsung Customer Care from the past 10 days, one engineer came and simply turned it on and not showing error.After 5 minutes, when the Engineer was gone, it was showing error.We have called both Great Eastern and Samsung Engineer multiple times but both of them doesn't receive any of the 50 calls. Great Eastern have said that it has free installation and servicing.Now the Samsung Customer Care said that sliding the outdoor unit a little right side costs a big amount, So I called Great Eastern why they cost an amount instead of free Installation, but as the same, they won't receive any calls.Please take an action immediately for not ignoring the customers by not receiving the calls.

                                      This is to inform that I bought a Daikin AC from your G.T Road branch and I was only said that the delivery would be done within 7-10 days but there I was not informed anything about installation dates on the other hand one of your showroom staff named Kousik Saha said that it won't be possible to install the AC before 10 days. How can you people service in such an unproffessional way? Your staff behaves badly with the customers and shows attitude without ever thinking of resolving the problem. For what reason did you people even think of delivering the product if you cannot install on the same day or the next day.

                                        I bought a voltas 1.5 ton ac on 2012 from Great eastern dalhousie .But after installation the I found that not cooling properly.I tried to contact them over the telephone to all their numbers but not a single call was answered. so then I visited the showroom personally and lodged complaint with the in-charge of the showroom. one of the representative came and provide me services, he asked for 2800 rs, but i asked for detail, then he asked to pay 2600, then i asked for its bill, he said there is no such bill for such service a repaired but after repairing the cooling system was not working properly. I had also lodged the complain on voltas customer care service regarding this issue and requested to replace the A/C with a new one as I had not used it for a single day from the day of purchase . but This GREAT EASTERN is providing a defective product, but not ready to replace it...but after few years the ac totally stopped working so then i contacted a a/c technician, after checking he told me that the ac is not installed properly and There is ice being formed in front the cooling coil beause of almunium ... but when i purchased this great easter pvt ltd (dalhousie) told me copper. This great eastern pvt ltd dalhousie totally cheated us.really fed up of these people, need help.
