Hi i am sayantan nag. I purchased a lg 43lf540a full hd television on 13th august' 2016 from great eastern (Branch 20, old court house street, kolkata - 700001). As per the discussion with sales person (Debasish #[protected]) and the reception counter during the purchase, it was promised the delivery and the installation will be done the very next day 14th august' 2016 (Saturday) as i traveling to outside for my office work from kolkata on 16th august' 2016 (Monday). But it didn't happen for me. During the purchasing they have promised me to delivery the product next day morning between 11 to 12 o'clock at noon. Also they have told me to installation process completed by the eod at the same day 14th august' 2016 (Saturday) but still i am waiting for the same. I had to call up multiple times to available contacts to get the status of the delivery/installation process, but after the repeated request over the phone never got any response from him or the customer support team. Also few times later the salesman frequently putting switched off his mobile which i used to call him. The landline number also this same shop are frustrated me as the both numbers are every time busy at there schedule working hours, which number are printed over the invoice bill. During my first couple of call i was always convinced by the salesman that "i am looking into this... It will be done within few hours". But after some time i used to understood that all are faked promise by them. It's only for the filling the customer target and collect the money from the same person which is against the consumer law by indian penal code.
However, finally i got the delivery by eod 14th august' 2016 at night which is not promises to me earlier from the same sales and reception team of the shop. Now i am moving pillar to post to get the installation done. This time the answer i am getting from the next day "already raised the request, company technician will call you... Raising another request bla.. Bla.. Bla.." etc. But they still didn't share with me the request/reference number of the request & still i am waiting for the installation process. Now i am not sure what to do..!!! As i told them before that tomorrow 16th august' 2016 i am going to outside for the work from the state & for this case i want to complete the full process before i leaving. But it's not happen for me yet. I am shopping from this branch at first time in my life. But i am shocked about this incident, their irresponsibility & the bad customer support treatment from some of your staff, it's not desirable or as expected. And i am not referring anymore to visit your shop to my all friends, relatives and rest of all my colleague in future..
I know this incident is against shop reputation. So, please take a early action. I am requesting to the concern team to take some action against these faked persons. Firstly these sales team should be trained on customer handling, should not commit anything which can't kept. At least they should intimate the status to the customer in case there is any problem/delay in delivery. This type unethical behavior is irritating but also impacting company's image. I sure that i am not the first person for this shocking/bluffing incident by the shops or your sales team of the shop, but if you not control them now then it's impact are worse in future for marketing of your selling products, because remember your employees are not stable relation with your company all the time but end of the day, making a good customer relation with a consumer are earning goodwill assets for your company reputation. Also a good behavior with a customer you can expect more networking growth from him through customer relation for your company in future.
