This is the first time i placed the order with grofers. I placed the order on september 1st, 2017 at 4.37 p. M. The order id was gr[protected]. The order was scheduled to be delivered on september 2nd, 2017 between 11 a. M. To 1 p. M. On september 2nd, around 11 a. M. I called the delivery man, srikant, mobile number [protected] and checked the time of his arrival. He said he is coming and checked the delivery address, which i told. Later around 12 p. M. Someone else with mobile number [protected] called, checked the direction of address, came to our home and threw two bags at the doorstep and was ready to leave. We immediately asked him to check the items with the bill and he said he was in hurry, you check the items yourself and if anything is missing, call us, we will bring those items again. As the bags were looking smaller and a 10 kg lalitha brand hmt rice should include in that, we asked the delivery man where is the rice bag to which he said every thing is there in the two bags. By saying this, he immediately left the place without taking the customer’s signature.

We checked all the items with the bill and two items, origami toilet roll and lalitha hmt rice, were missing. At the same time we, a person saying srikant called me and told that you got extra items in your delivery bag and you need to return. I raised a question what about the missing items. He said he did not have any knowledge about the missing items. I asked him why he did not check the items with the bill. He said though he is the delivery person, but he sent some one else to deliver the goods and the person who delivered does not know the process. He said he is going to come right then and asked me to return his three 2kg ariel packs immediately. Then, i asked him about my missing items to which he said you will get refund in 24 hours to which i said he can take his three 2 kg ariel packs only after my cashback or delivering my items. He pleaded that it is very urgent that he has to delivery the three 2 kg ariel bags immediately to another customer, which i declined saying he can take them only after delivering my items or cashback.

Later i got several calls from the same person with number [protected] and one time some area manager and another time operations manager talked to me asking me to return their ariel packs and my refund will be done in 24 hours. There was a lot of argument, at first why the delivery person threw the bags and left without checking the items with the bill. No one gave a proper answer. No manager has good knowledge of english. I declined to receive refund in wallet but wanted in my bank account as i do not want to make any further transactions with grofers. The operations manager who was till then saying i will get refund then said it is difficult to get refund to bank and said he will send my items. After doing so much drama all through the day, at 5 p. M., srikant came to my home and delivered my missing items and took his three 2 kg ariel bags and took the signature and left.

Points to be noted:

1. Delivery person named srikant with mobile number [protected] did not deliver but sent some other person with mobile number [protected] who was very rude at behavior and threw the items and left without taking the signature.
2. Lot of calls were made to me through the day by srikant with number [protected] asking me to talk to area manager and operations manager, uday, all asking me to refund their three 2 kg ariel bags. So much of inconvinience caused to my old parents and me all through the day with phone calls and their arguments. All were asking their three 2 kg ariel bags and saying delivery of the missing items not possible but you will get your refund. At last, i asked them to refund my money into bank account not to my wallet to which the operations manager suddenly said, ok, you will get your items and sent the items at 5. P. M.

I am a customer of bigbasket since the past four years and this time i tried grofers for the first time and had a very bitter experence, which caused a hell of inconvenience to my parents and me.

I strongly feel something fishy with the local delivery persons and area as well as operations managers.

I request to take an immediate and powerful action against all of the above mentioned persons without any delay so that no other grofer’s customer feel pain in future.

    Dear sir/madam,

    I have ordered first time on grofers. Due to mistake payment made twice against same order number i, e. One payment through mobikwik wallet and other one is cash. I have filed a complaint against delivery man and forward an email to company but no action taken by them and not provide any resolution yet. Need strict action against these type of companies who are indulge in such type of fraudulent activity.

      A nonsense customer sense their executives have... Their delivery guy was supposed to come in timeslot of 6-8 am... He came at 11 am telling if i have concern with timing i can leave the order but i should not be asking anything to him about delay.. Pathetic.. What kind of customer service does grofer have? Do they think they have enough business and can misbehave with customers for their fault as well?

        Grofers – selling expired products in the name of “housefull sale: 1-3 june”
        I have placed an order on 2nd june 2017 and the items were delivered on 4th june 2017. I have ordered almost 24 items. The ordered items were 7 packs of pringles and biscuits (Sunfeast & hide & seek).
        Pringles manufactured date were april, january, november & december 2016 (Not 2017). I usually don’t look at the manufacturer date, i trust these online retailers. At around 11 am my daughter vomited after consuming these pringles.
        She is being analyzed by the doctor now. The medical report is yet to come.
        Then i looked at the pack to know these packs were expired in september 2016. Then i checked every packet, all are expired. There gimmick is to sell all the expired on the name of a sale “grofers housefull sale: 1-3 june”.
        All the 24 items were expired and close to expiry date (A week more).
        Grofers – is saying that it might be a mistake. How it is that possible to send every single product as expired one.. Money – greediness to sell expired products.. Isn’t it…

          I am a new customer in grofers. I order many times and they dillivery the product very well and on time but on 15/05/17 grofers team send me a message that my order has cancelled due to violation of grofers terms of service.

          Grofers is cheat all my cash back money which they are promise to give me on next order. I think this is the way grofers team do business they promised to give cash back and on the next order they block the clint account so they cannot use them...

          I Complain it but still now I did not get any reply from any grofers team.
          Product I had Ordered from Grofer which they are not delivering because of their problem of price. Order was supposed to be delivered on 15th August but till date 19th it's not delivered

                Today I ordered goods from Grofers App and chose to pay with Freecharge Wallet.
                So I added Rs.251 in my Freecharge Wallet. But when I entered the 'Pay and Place Order' option it shows transaction failed. But money was also deducted and my order did not place. So I lost my money.
                I request you to take necessary actions and help me with this regard as Rs. 251 is not small amount.

                      I ordered 200gm Dried Apricot for Rs. 275 saying "best value" (not brand) where as on big basket and other sites same quantity for a branded product cost Rs. 165. How can such a variation possible? or scam?
                      On notifying them they reiterated that our prices are best but in reality 60% higher. Pathetic? Was i supposed to check whole web before placing an order with them?
                      They expect my future shopping experience will be better. Like I'm gonna put my orders with them anymore.

                      - As per of order, Carrots and oranges came in rotten stage, which on complain were refunded that too to the wallet. People order things to use for certain time and purpose, not to replace with money. Is their any quality check before dispatch?

                        I am a regular buyer of groffers for few orders it worked satisfactorily but now this time i chose paytm as payment method and money 541 has been deducted but no such transactions showing on grofers and paytm is showing money deducted for your order placed on grofers

                          Regarding OrderID GR[protected], my order was rescheduled more than 2 times, and even after re-scheduling, they say that the Order is Out for Delivery, it has been more than 4-5 hours and the order is not yet delivered.

                          I called the Customer care, what they say is "we are sorry" and the order will be delivered in next 30 mins, it has been more than 1 hour but there is no response from them.

                          There can be no estimation of how much "harassment" this has caused to me.

                          Moreover Grofers takes payment in advance, so there is a confusion if we cancel the order they will refund after 8-10 days, so should we wait for the Delivery person or not is the concern.

                          My MOM is alone at home with a fractured hand waiting for the vegetables to be delivered,

                          The customer care guys are in Delhi and they don't have any knowledge about the Delivery in Bangalore... How will they function? such companies which are on Funding should not be allowed to operate and should be immediately taken down.

                              Hi Team,
                              I have ordered some veg and other items two days back. Although Groferr promised to deliver the product in morning on 1st August however they delivered the product after 6 hours in evening.Delivered vegetable quality was very bad.The cooking oil price after Rs.20 discount was Rs.98 however what I received it was Rs.95 as MRP and product was 6 month old .This is a clear case of cheating customer. When I raised this concern with Grofer customer care team, he was adamant on product is in edible condition and we can refund Rs.3. My complaint to stop these kind of cheating from Grofer and bad quality what they delivered to me. I wasted 45 minutes on this discussion with customer care and still no proper solution. I need your support and help on addressing this complaint.

                                I ordered some domestic items of rs.304 from grofrs, i paid paymement through mobikwik on 23/04/2016 . Grofers show your order will be delivered on 23/04/2016 at 03:30pm.Grofers called me on 23/04/2016 at 03:30 pm your order are being cancelled due to your order address does not cover my company so my company will refund your payment. Grofers cancelled my order and msg sent " your refund will be credited whithin 24-48 hours but my refund has not credited yet.

                                  My order # gr71563305 dated 3-arpril -2016 via grofers mobile app was not successfully delivered with all items till 6-april-2016. I had made online payment for order on 3-april-16 only and there was no delay in payment for the order.
                                  Even on 6th the delivery man came with partial order with other items missing, i denied the delivery on grounds that only complete order will be accepted by me and no partial order.
                                  On speaking to their customer service executive on call i was assured that complete delivery will be done. But to my surprise the order was cancelled within 1 hour on 6-april-16 without any prior communication or consent. Grofers.com charged me on 3-april-16 and refund amount on 8-april-16 after severe follow ups. This caused me lot of metal pressure for arranging ordered items at last moment externally and much bigger amount then the price at which it was ordered on grofers. I want grofer.com to compensate for lack of proper service and using my money for 5 days without any interest. Strict action should be taken against company as they have cheated many other customers like me.

                                    Date of incident: 3 april 2016
                                    Grofers company is cheating with consumers. They offer high discounts on many products and get payment and next day they call you and ask for extra money to deliver product and saying they can't process order at this low amount. So please pay for the rest of money otherwise they will cancel order mentioning it was technical fault. What the hell? If you can't deliver product at low price then why are you offering it. Just because once the customer orders from your app and then they will pay for the rest since they need grocery on daily basis and people who are working in hectic job schedule won't have time to argue with them and accept whatever they say.
                                    Those guys should be punished by law for cheating with customers. I have already filed complaint with consumer forum of india for the same.

                                      I had placed order with grofers on 25th march Pedigree chicken and veg adult 4 packs of 3kg at Rs75/- per pack order no GR40971914 and payment made of rs.1500/- Next day after me inqiring twice ticket no-376653, 376508 and 376385 about the delivery of my order i recd a call from grofers saying that the product is available at Rs510/- instead of rs375/-. But still on their site it is showing the same price and miss guiding many more customers like me. and when i said that the same item is availble at some other site at the same price they told me to order from there. They are just using customers money as refund will be after 3 days. This is not my first experince with them. When i said that i want my order or refund on the same day they just canncelled my order and sent me a mesage saying order cancell and refund will be send. This is very poor service once order placed and payment made in advance it is the responsibility of GROFERS to make sure to deliver the order at your cost.
                                      Today I received a fungus pointed gourd and stale green chillies from grofers.spoke to their customer care and she was not able to handle the situation.
                                      Terrible experience from grofers.I must have died by eating that rotten and fungus food.Missing another 250 gms gourd as well..
