Hi Sir / Madam,
I am using HDFC credit card from 2011, almost from past 3 years. I have upgraded my card for thrice, and did lakhs of transactions on the card. Till March 2014 everything went good. But after March 2014 you people stopped co operating with me. There are no offers given for me on card, at the time other people having offers on card.
Particularly, regarding the EMI conversion of the billed amount, you people made me as not eligible customer for EMI. Till now i did not missed any payments, may be i would have missed due dates, but paid single penny also.
I had a Jumbo loan on my card till July 2014, i have paid every month EMI very regularly. After closure of Jumbo loan when i asked for loan one more time, people said i am not eligible for loan on card.
I took personal loan from HDFC bank in 2013, i paid all EMIs without missing. I got the loan with Interest rate of 13.75%. But after closing the loan, when i asked for another loan people started asking for increased interest rate of 17-19%. What was the wrong i did, i was not able to understand.
By the way i am having Savings account also from HDFC bank.
When i called to customer care for helping me regarding the EMI conversion on a particular purchase on my card, people said they were not able to. When i asked them why i am not eligible now, and all of my friends are eligible, they had given me a rude answer. "You are not eligible sir, thats it. we cant help you. If you want you can close your card, and they are ready to help with the closing of card" - I did not expected this kind of answer.
Sorry for asking like this, what is the procedure to close my account and Credit card both. Please let me know the procedure to my personal mail which is mentioned below. Why i have to continue with HDFC bank, when they are not helping me.
