At the time of purchase the policy, is there any condition in the policy wordings or told by hdfc ergo representative to customers that the policy can be renewed only through hdfc net banking or credit/debit card.

I have hdfcergo health policy no.[protected] other policy[protected].
Both policy renewal due on 26/11/2014, i have tried to renew by online banking many time but i can't renew the above policy.
When i try to renew online there is only option by hdfc net banking, Hdfc credit card/ debit card, when i talked to customer care they replied you can renew online only by hdfc net banking or credit/debit card.
I want to know why can't renew the policy by using the other online banking, how hdfcergo can insist to the customer to use only hdfc banking
