I have had a credit card with hdfc bank since 2008. Recently, my card was misused, which cost me rs.169. I was told to send a request for this to the chennai address so that the charges could be reverted. This means i should spend more money to get something waived that i didn't use, despite reporting and closing card within 2 hours!
Anyways, i gave up, and i requested that my card not be closed, and be put on hold, until i request a reissue of the card. That was not done, and i was issued a new card, and was charged rs.100 again for the reissue, without my permission.
I still had some faith left in hdfc bank and its services. Now, i have changed my address temporarily, so i asked one of the customer care guys to tell me what my options are. He hold me that i can request the manager of the nearby branch to send an email to hdfc, requesting that the new card be delivered at the branch itself.
I visited the ashoke enclave, faridabad branch this morning, and i was told that they cannot do it, and this is not allowed due to security restrictions. How much harrassment will i take? I was again asked to cut the card, which i did like 2 months ago, and send it to the chennai address. I have to write an application for this, meaning waste my time, my resources, my energy, on a bank that does not care at all for its 10-year old customer.

I do not intend to change my address, as the current one is my temporary address. I do not have address proof of my temporary address, and I do not wish to change it anyways.
I hope you have read my entire complaint, because not once have I asked for an address change. I wanted to get the delivery in the HDFC bank itself or be given to someone on by behalf on my original address. I was told that this is not possible.
Do give me an option I have, which can help me get the refund of the money I was charged without my consent. I know that is not possible, then help me get my card delivered at the only options I want to go for. I was told anyone with my ID can collect the parcel, or the bank manager can send an email to the main branch to receive the delivery according to my inconvenience.
Your help in this regard will be greatly appreciated.

I am writing this letter on behalf of kamaljeet kaur Hdfc bank will not fix metting face to face with Sonia Kapoor.
-On the first point if she should have been educated enough to read and write why will KAMALJEET KAUR start the policy which she is not happy with today or how can she read or understand it when it came on address as already explained she is not educated enough
-if SONIA KAPOOR. had explained her exactly the same this which was written in the policy KAMALJEET KAUR will 100% refuse to sign the policy . As she has been mislead by HDFC employee.
- it came in my notice that her occupation is totally mentioned wrong in the policy
- KAMALJEET KAUR has been HDFC coustmer from very very long time and never every faced anything like this everyone in MOHALI branch know her and their family members . This was the reason when SONIA KAPOOR came to know that anyone from her family are not educated enough and she took an advantage of it and make her do the policy and misleaded . SONIA KAPOOR might have achieved the monthly target but it have to be a genuine policy not by misleading clients
- At the end I would like to request you to arrange meetings face to face with MOHALI HDFC MANAGEMENT TEAM with SONIA KAPOOR so that we can tell everything face to face in that meeting .
HDFC have got a good reputation don’t loose it by not following it this case . we need a fair result on this case .
