Hdfc charges uncessary over limit fee in which they accept the transaction beyond the limit given and they ask customer to pay the over limit fee,
They themselve decide and make the transaction happen, if you yourself are allowing the transaction to happen why should the customer pay the overlimit fee.

If you are deducting the charges of overlimit and making the payment, they will charge you interest for the outstanding amount that is fine but plus the next bill amount in which the bill still has not generated.

Its a big fraud and pathetic thing, customer misses the chance to call them back they start taking advantage of this.

Beware of payment to be made on time otherwise they will start charging you unecessary interest fees

    My personal loans amount is not auto debit from my salary account. My due date is on 4th of every month. My loan account no is 45455162. Even i have sufficient amount in my account. My loan emi is 8685. Please ensure if any fine will be there then it will be wave off. My salary account is in axis bank.

      Hdfc is fooling customers in the name of lifetime free cards. I was promised by the sales rep as well as the manager that its a free card, no annual fee, no hidden charges. Once you get the card they will start charging you. They charged me around rs.1400 for smart pay that i have never opted for.

      Hdfc is a big fraud. Please dont gor for hdfc credit cards.

        I have salary account of hdfc bank, my first company, i used that account and i leave that company but the account was live
        After 4 month, i join the new company and i used that same account but it's a negative balance 780, what to do?.
        If my new company provide salary to the account what happened next? Because it's negative balance the bank will be solve the negative balance to positive balance

          There is a penalty amount of around 10k on my account. I requested for its waiver because i couldn't clear the outstanding before due date, however, your team denied my request.

          I beg for your mercy on my knees. Kindly waive the penalty of around 10k on my card. Me and my family will be grateful to your kind heart.

            My name is deepak raja. I have already raised complaint regarding reversal amount $12000 but as of now i didn't received any response from bank side. However my pl emi payment is on 07/01/2018 its going to be bounced since i don't have sufficient money on the account.in this case my account going to fall in negative balance. Main thing is i already raised two complaint no response as of now. If any collection agent comes my home i can't pay them because the bank didn't reversal my amount.

              Dear sir/ma'am,

              My customer id is 56857125. I have purchased a new datsun redigo last year on 14th december 2017 with the help of hdfc loan. I am very thankful for that. I got a call from hdfc to install gps in my car. I agreed that time but just after that call, i had a talk with the sales representative nishant. I have purchased my car from nishant. He told me that nissan is providing same device with better features n nominal amount. I asked him to say no to loan person for that device. He had a talk with that person who was incharge to disburse loan amount. That person agreed and he disbursed loan amount without any deduction of gps device. I was sure that i have not taken that gps from bank. After purchase of my car i got a call from gps company that they want to install device in my car. I said i have already denied for the same. The representative told me that i don't have to pay anything for that device. He told me that hdfc providing this device for free to 10% customers. After installation of gps i called again to hdfc to confirm if this device is actually free for me or not. They told me that this is not free. I asked to remove this device from my car. They told me that i have signed related document for gps. That rm (Mayur kulshrestha) sent me a copy of that page. He said do what ever you want to do, this device will not be uninstall from your car and you have to pay emi for that gps device. He said that this is my signature, i have attached a picture of my signature and you can verify from the bank account. On that paper i found a fake signature of mine and on 13th dec i have not been there for sign any document. I have attached a copy of that picture with this mail. I don't wanna pay any amount for gps device as i didn't want and i did not sign any paper for the same. Please do have a look and reschedule my emi and please ask match point to remove that gps device from my car.

                  I have to deposit my daughter's fees in hdfc bank having details following.

                  Sir, i deposited total rs.6 472+₹2550+₹3800+₹5822 on 11aug2017 vide rt. No.45, 46, 47 but the counter cashier didn't stamp the last one i. E 48th and the same i didn't notice at the moment but later when i came to know and reported the same the back denied depositing the same amount ie.₹5822.
                  I asked the management to check from the cc tv footage and credit the same amount but they are refusing and even not responding in a sensible manner. I had complaint in written on 25 aug 2017.
                  I am sure i had deposited the same amount but they are not accepting the fact. It can be a human error or may be the cashier's intentions are malafied.
                  Please instruct the bank to check the cc tv footage and also would be better if they show me the same footage. Please advice and instruct the bank to do the needful soon.

                      Hi,
                      I am a senior citizen aged 74 years. Since the past 4 years i am suffering from parkinsons disease. I also do not know how to operate the computer. My son is raising this online complaint on my behalf.
                      I have been banking with hdfc bank since past several years. Since past one year they have stopped sending me postal quarterly statements. I have requested the bank by giving them letters and sending them postal letters. I have also asked my bank relationship manager but the bank is still not sending me any postal bank account statements. They are telling me to use email statement or come to the bank branch and collect the statement.
                      I have no place to go and thus i am raising a complaint against the bank. The banks depository services, where i have a dp account, are behaving the same way by not sending me statements. I request you to take this up with the bank.

                        I have raised a complaint on[protected] regarding my hdfc debit card transaction in sbi atm and complaint id -1474170 but didn't get a proper response till now. I am still calling the customer care daily regarding this but there was no valid response given by them. Such irresponsible and bad service was not expected from hdfc.

                          The hdfc collection team has put my account to hold as there was only 2150 rs due payment from my side without intimation, that too before the close of the day...

                          Please resolve my issues as i kept this for my emi.

                          The contacts number given by the customer care is not at all existed...

                          The customer care representative often tells to arrange a call back but not done it.

                            I had applied for hdfc cc & submitted all the required documents and information for application form.

                            After a day or two received multiple sms and calls regarding cc processing, one of those sms was this :
                            "dear applicant your hdfc bank credit card app ref no [protected]s2 is approved in principle subject to internal checks"

                            After that received telephonic verification calls & physical verification at office & residential address.

                            But yesterday i received mail from bank that they are incapable to process my application without specifying any reason. Following is the mail:
                            "
                            Dear sir/madam,
                            Subject : your credit card application reference no. [protected]s2
                            Thank you for your interest in hdfc bank credit card.

                            We wish to inform you that your application has been considered in line with the bank's internal credit policy (Which is based on a combination of financial and related criteria and/or statistically determined scores to assess credit eligibility) and operating/credit processes (Which include a combination of verifications, credit bureau reports and document verifications). We regret to inform you that we are unable to approve your application as it does not meet the above mentioned internal criteria of the bank.

                            Please be assured that our inability to approve the credit card application does not reflect in anyway on your credit standing or your financial stability."

                            It is really disappointing that after collecting all the docs and verifications still not giving the reason. This also makes feel insecure about our document to be miss used like pan card, aadhar card, bank statements, pay slips as all these are private properties.

                            So hoping to get some resolution i am posting it here.

                              My a/c no.in this bank is ‭[protected]‬, without informing me hdfc bank has switched my a/c from salary account to monthly average balance and then they deducted approximately rs.7800 from my a/c.
                              I am very upset of this thing.
                              I called customer care department and they told me we informed you but actually they didn't, i haven't got any call, any mail, not even in my bank a/c net banking mail id too.
                              I want my money back and if its like that i don't want to continue any relationship with hdfc bank.

                                Hello,

                                I went usa for study and my status is nri. I had salary account in hdfc. I informed this thing around one years back to close my saving account. I requested them to close my demat account and savings account but of the branch in pune hdfc took my account closing papers and said it will get close. After few month back i started getting e-mails from hdfc for the outstanding big negative balance. Because hdfc service team and hdfc branch in pune mislead me last time about the closure of my account, this account is still pending.
                                According to rbi guidelines, a nri person cant has any running saving account in india. Also, no bank can impose a negative penalty on any customer when the account is dormant.

                                When i called hdfc customer care they say - to submit paper again with physical present. I told i am in california, i cant be present physically in as u don't have any branch here. But now, i came india for few days, i went branch of hdfc (Kharadi pune 2). Now they are harassing me when i asked them to close my account they are saying to clear off outstanding negative balance or else we will not close. I asked what will happen if i don't close it they said - it will keep accumulating and after few years you will have to clear off whatever amount will be there.

                                I just read rbi guidelines, that any bank cannot impose a negative penalty of anyone if the account is in a dormant condition.in my case it is fault of the hdfc service team, they misled me by saying ur account is already closed.
                                I am feeling this is something unethical. I want to raise the grievance to some higher authority or rbi personals to bring attention towards this. Please let me know where i can because if they are not following rbi guidelines then its unethical practice. I have all mails and as record whatever i communicated since june 2017 to customer care of hdfc. I am fine to show this mail if required as a proof. I did regular follow-ups. Rbi must have some strict rules to prevent such banks to prevent such wrong practices.

                                I think, again HDFC service team is behaving in same way, i did many follow ups in mail also but now they are even responding. Can some one tell where I can raise this issue to some higher authority even where I can register this as complain in RBI because as I know they are not following RBI guidelines by putting again and again negative charges on my account and forcing me to pay for it.

                                  Recently i received a call from consultant (Laxmi ganapathi associates, mr. Naresh[protected], visakhapatnam) regarding personal loan. After submitting all the documents and checking cibil score they declared 5 lakhs @15% interest rate with tenure of 60 months.
                                  Then i refused the deal with them as i have pre approved loan for 13.80 for 60 months with amount 325000. Again they came with the deal of 10.99% and asked to sign on empty application/ agreement.
                                  They asked me several documents for disbursement of loan, before submitting all the required documents i was been asking for the interest rate and they committed 10.99% with the tenure of 60 months and they told they will try to reduce tenure period to 4 years also.
                                  He committed rs 2500 + taxes for processing charges.
                                  Finally loan of rs 412775 disbursed with interest of 15% with 10110 emi for 60 months and approx 10030/- of processing fees

                                    Hello,

                                    My name is sumit chakraborty. I have a savings account with hdfc. However, i was unable to maintain the minimum balance. I also have a fd and a credit card attached to this account.

                                    Since, i wasn't able to maintain the minimum balance, i visited my branch and asked them nicely, if i can close my savings account and keep my fd and credit card active. At that time the account has a negative balance of - rs, 2000.

                                    The branch person so rude, he completely ignored my request and said "why did you open the account, if you cannot maintain the balance". I still kept calm asked him if it is possible to close the account. He said, "this account cannot be closed". So, i left there thinking i won't be able to close this account.

                                    I recently joined a company who process their salary through hdfc. So, i provided them my account details as i have an account already. After that when, i tried to access my account, the account shows a negative balance of - rs, 8450.

                                    So, i tried visiting my nearest branch again hoping they might be able to assist me. I had to visit 3 branches and everyone of them ignored me/ my request without any reason. I know if the branch wants to, they can waive the fee once.

                                    I am asking hdfc to help me, i don't wanna close this account. All i am asking is to waive my penalty charges for this once and convert my account to salary account as my hr team has already shared necessary docs with branch representative.

                                    I am tired of visiting different branches and getting rude responses from branch team members.

                                    I am requesting hdfc bank to please assist me with proper response and to let me know if they can waive this charges or will i need to pay all these amount.

                                    I received a reply from HDFC bank stating that my charges have been waived. Thank you very much for all your assistance. However, my other problem still persists.

                                    No one seems to take my account conversion request seriously. It's been a week since my HR team has submitted all the necessary documents with Sector-16 HDFC branch, Gandhinagar. However, my account is still a regular savings account and no one has processed the request to convert it to Salary account.

                                    I am trying to reach every individual in HDFC bank to process this request at the earliest.

                                    Kindly, take a look at this matter and help me resolve this issue.

                                    HDFC misinformed me about the charges being waived.

                                    I rechecked my account today and it shows HDFC deducted two amounts from my account on 11th January 2018.

                                    1. RS: 684.23

                                    Ref: MIR[protected]

                                    Narration: AMB charg for MAY 2017

                                    2. RS: 226.77

                                    Ref: MIR[protected]

                                    Narration: AMB chrg for FEB 2017.

                                    On 8th January, I received an email from HDFC stating and I Quote:

                                    "Please note that the account is already in regular status and as a one time service gesture we have waived these charges."

                                    So, They mentioned that they have waived all previous charges. However, on 11th Jan, they charged me again for 2017 which is contradicting their own email.

                                    I have also submitted my documents to the nearest branch but they haven't processed the request yet. So, I am not certain how is that my fault.

                                    Also, These charges should be refunded to me as you have already waived the charges as a one time gesture, so you should not have charged me in the first place.

                                    HDFC is really disappointing me. Stick to your words, you are a financial institution, your words should hold a value.

                                    I wouldn't recommend HDFC to anybody if they do this with all their clients.

                                    So, the charge have not yet been reversed. Also, my account has not been converted to Salary account yet.

                                    I submitted the hard copy of my Joining letter weeks ago and nothing, no action taken by HDFC till now.

                                    I am not certain what someone needs to do so banks do their jobs properly on time. I submitted the hardcopy of my document at Sector - 16, Gandhinagar Branch.

                                    I am requesting HDFC to convert my savings account to salary account and update it in their system so it displays the same on my end.

                                      I got message from hdfc stating they sent my card through bluedart on 21dec 2017, but still i did not received it but no one from hdfc bank are caring about this or atleast trying to know what is the ustatus of delivery this is the worst service from hdfc. They had a time to call us to take credit carda but never take care whether it got delivered or not.

                                      I feel hdfc should not use bluedart to send the cards to customer

                                        I had already availed a home loan from hdfc. I applied for an improvement /enhancement loan on 01/12/2017. Hdfc has collected the processing fees on 12/12/201. Even the technical verification has been done 3 weeks ago. All the documents have been submitted. The hdfc authorities have been saying me since last two weeks that the amount will be disbursed in 2 days. But it has been 20 days. I am being unnecessarily harassed.
