I have submitted all the documents required to close personal loan viz. Application, account statement, print out of the email containing approvals for waiver of foreclosure charges, address and id proofs and cheque of my hdfc bank savings account for transferring amount to loan account, to hdfc dabwali branch (District sirsa, haryana) on 04/12/2017 at 9:30 am i. E. At the start of business hours. Complete two working days are over, so far the loan has not been closed. Also i have not received any satisfactory response from the branch manager., when i called him, he simply stated that he is trying and it will take time.
I'm wondering how much time it takes to close an account.
With the intrinsic and whole hearted i'm thankful to hdfc bank for waiving foreclosure charges in closure of personal loan which have created more value for hdfc bank in my heart but the response and behaviour of branch people has hurt me who are simply saying that we are trying to close the account for the last two days but it will take more time.
Other than the interest loss for every passing day, being a banker it's really difficult for me to come again and again to the branch for a simple account closure.
It's an humble request to your goodself to kindly intervene and get the account closed at the earliest.

Updated by Spcilu Today is the last day of this week, it's amazing to the maximum extent that HDFC is not able to run closure in an account even in a weeks time
