I am a policy holder (Policy no.[protected] of hdfc life ltd. I recently received a call claiming to be representing your (Hdfc) bank asking me to pay rs. 6825 for service. The call came from this number [protected]. I also got a sms with details on where to submit the amount. The message came from the no. [protected] and contained the following :-
Name-capital tax investments services
Union bank of india
A/c=[protected]
Ifsc=ubin0552089

Amount-6825

I haven't given any money as i know this is a fraud but i hope that you take strict action against such criminals. Thank you.

    I am not able to carry out net-banking transaction or debit card related transaction with hdfc bank ltd. I am having a medical emergency in my family.. And require cash urgently. I spoke to a ruthless tele-caller heena at [protected]. My pan card and aadhar card no are already updated in system and have also confirmed this a month before at vishrantwadi branch in pune when my changed /updated address was also updated at the said branch.

      I applied for home loan in hdfc. I received the loan cheque from the bank with wrong account number, even proper cancel cheque is provided by seller.

      We got know the issue only after the registration process is done and seller tried to deposit the cheque.

      And now, they want to change the sale deed and rectify it with proper cheque number from our end, even though the mistake is from hdfc.

      They say its just a typo mistake and they cannot do anything because they deal with lot of such cases every day. I don't understand if such kind of mistakes are done most of the time, do we have to suffer for that.

      Another big thing is the loan was issued after 4 of my application after continuous followup. The hdfc agent doesn't even know what kind of documents are required for processing loan.

      I do the followup always and at the end of the day the response is 'it will be done within 1 or 2 days sir'. At last they end up with asking another document.

      I didn't escalate/raise any complaint for delayed processing. But, now i am fully frustrated by the service provided by hdfc. Reputed bank like hdfc is providing this kind of service? Too bad.

      I would request to take the necessary action against this. So that, i don't need to go through all these process again and need a proper compensation if i have to go through all these processes.

      I really don't understand one thing - Either me or seller doesn't have any concern about the Cheque number mentioned in the Sale Deed, why HDFC has a concern about it. No one is going to check which Cheque and Cheque Number is used for the Payment to seller once the registration is done.

        Hi,

        Last year on[protected], 25, 998 rupees had been debited from my credit card towards m/s marquis beach resort candolim ind without my authorization, as i have not provided otp and cvv pin. After complaining the same to the hdfc bank they have reverted the money in my account on 5th january 2017.

        Later on 20 june 2017 (After almost 6 months) out of the blue hdfc bank have again demanded the same amount for the same transaction from me. After many follow ups and mails to the hdfc bank sometimes they tell that they will close the matter and sometimes they deny the same.

        Since then the hdfc bank demands the same to me after every few days and now demanding the penalty of the same to me. These people keep on calling me from pune location and mumbai location and threaten me that they will send the agents at my home for money.

        To be more precise i have never authorized the transaction and reopening the same matter after closing it is most unethical thing from hdfc end. This is high security breach from hdfc end to debit the money from my credit card without my authorization. All this transaction has caused me severe mental stress.

        I have come to the consumer forum with the high hopes that you people will help me in this fraud transaction. I am also attaching the screenshots of the mails.

          I am vijay lakshmi with credit card no: [protected].

          I have blocked my card in the month of september 2017 but was levied charges of rs.1800/- towards akhila motors dated 12.04.2017 in the october month, and finance charges on that. The mentioned transaction was not done by me and you put all faulty transactions and expect us to pay for that.

          I tried contacting your customer care[protected]/[protected] to complain on this but when i type last 4 digit number of the credit card, it says sorry invalid number.

          I would request to reverse rs.1800 and finance charges on that to make payment for the balance amount.

                  I am in cambodia for running half marathon. My card number 4854 xxxx xxxx 9971. There was an unauthorised transaction forcefully o[censored]sd-216. The beer cans were purchased out of it. I don't want refunds on that but felt sorry about the behaviour.
                  My passport number is j6734537. Now, the problem is that card has got blocked. Please do help me to get my card working. At the same time please enhance my card limit according to international currency. I assure you of no more illegal transactions on my card as i will be more careful about it.

                  The amount of $ 216.00 on 29th Nov 17 at 15:26 local Cambodian time. The place for transaction was Chaq Sagnon and Invoice number 000554 at EMV Sale for beer cans was not done on my behalf. AS A TEETOTALLER I do not drink. But still I have to face this issue because of the officials and the nexus of lcal taxi drivers who literally robbed me of the credit card amount which was merely for the purpose of my marathon event at Cambodia half marathon.

                  Please stop this payment and once I reach the bank I will talk further on this issue.

                    123 calls in a single day for non-payment of one month credit card dues.
                    And that too i had to keep the phone switched off due to their harassment.

                    Ridiculous.

                    Their so called collection agents are thugs.

                    I want a written apology for this kind of harassment. And will this ever stop?

                      Hdfc bank ram chowk, surat. Assistant manager said me hdfc give you life time free credit card. She apply online. After come credit card one assist charge debit on card rs.1200. Which is not applyed by me. So i told and complain and stop credit card on 5/5/17 and closed hdfc saving a/c also. After that credit card issue statement for paid rs390 torrent bill on 15/5/17. And send me bill after 1 month with charge. No call from hdfc credit cards department or no any contact no for call toll free no. Has not connect b'cos credit card is close. How can i pay bill? Now amount is rs 2600. This hdfc mistake & misguide me. How they pay amount after close credit card? Inspite of i am ready to pay rs.390 but how? Now they send statement rs.2600. This is not fare. Please

                        Hi team, i tried to reach hdfc credit card department for some credit card transactions which took me almost 20 mins to connect, and once i got connected the executive asked me to validate my credentials which i did, after having the conversation for 3 mins during which he was not able to give me correct information and kept me on hold for 5 mins and after that he was asking me one more time to validate all my credentials for which i told him that i have already validated my credentials why he was asking all over again to which he said "server is not accepting it" and i asked what the server is not accepting, he was continously kept on telling the same answer. And when i asked him to transfer the call his manager, he kept on hold for 30 seconds and disconnected the call without my permission.

                        Last month i made a payment one day after my due date (Which actually i forgot) and asked the hdfc team to revert it if possible to which they have reverted. But in this month bill, i see igst is applied against late fee (Which was reverted). When there is no late fee how can igst be applied to it?

                          Applied for the card on[protected].
                          They said ' 7 days for verification and within after that within 3 days you'll get your card'

                          I follow up after 10 days and it shows no status. Yogesh the rep calls me and says i need to submit a declaration form for address verification and all else is approved.

                          I got a message on 27th saying - ' your application has been processed. Check in 2 days'. Today i check and it still shows the same old message.

                          Like it's been over 18 days now. Hdfc definitely doesn't know how a thing about 'customer satisfaction'.

                          I'm still waiting. Lol

                            I got an email in august this year to update my kyc details for my nre/nro account at hdfc.

                            - i emailed the necessary documents via email to [protected]@hdfcbank.com but the email keeps bouncing (Since their email servers don't accept any kind of attachments!?!!!).

                            - my parents went to my hdfc local branch to submit the documents, that i shipped to them, in person to the bank officials. They refused to take the documents and suggested i should upload the files online via internet banking

                            - i have uploaded the kyc form and my documents on my net banking on oct 31st.

                            - i have also tried to email everything to [protected]@hdfcbank.com a couple of times now (As. Zip and other file formats). I have received no confirmation of receipt

                            - i have called on the so called usa 24x7 customer care number[protected] and no one picks up even after 40mins on the call! (P. S.: i'm still on the call while typing up this complaint)

                            - my home loan payment bounced yesterday because hdfc decided to freeze my account. This is highly inconvenient, and frustrating since i have been trying to do everything in my capacity to send those documents in (Atleast the online upload should have been enough, and that was a month ago!)

                            I would like hdfc to contact me, to resolve this matter asap and get my accounts unlocked at the earliest.

                              I do have similar issue. I had a paid my remaining premium (after original time frame) i had received similar email as above stating that your policy is elapsed and required to make the payment so i did paid 1, 80, 000 . (In favour of STF Care) Subsequently i had received a payment receipt and when i went and checked my details in the HDFC portal the details are not updated .                                 On 30 nov, i used my debit card to check balance. After entering the pin and choosing bal enquiry from the menu, nothing happened and a message was displayed that the card was retained. I had entered the right pin.
                                What could be the reason. This has caused.

                                I am currently out of india if bank can respond the same i would be highly greatful.

                                  I have applied for hdfc fastag. The reference no is hfr013883. Have uploaded all required documents and made a payment of rs. 300/- also. The signed application form has also been uploaded in the link provided via email.
                                  The toll free no provided in the website is not working. I need to konw the status of my application. Will hdfc be deliver the tag to our address or is it is fake?

                                      I am a hdfc bank credit card holder. The bank has auto debited rs. 1299/- from my credit card number ending with 2227 without my concern on date:19/10/2017.                                         I have a salary account created 5years ago by my first company and i have not been using it for more than 2 years.
                                        I was shocked to see the negative balance -9k in my account charging every month in the name of charges.
                                        As per rbi rules they are not supposed to charge any make it negative balance account just by imposing charges.
                                        Unable to connect hdfc customer care either
                                        How can i get my charges waived off and close the account?

                                        Hdfc employee has told me that I have to pay the charges, when I questioned about RBI public notice issued he didnt respond and asked me to contact customer representative.
                                        Which of no luck reaching them and getting resolved.

                                        I had a salary account when i quit my job it was converted to saving account and started deducting charges and now it stands at -9k Acc no-[protected].
                                        Paying rs.9000 is highly impossible for me pls understand.
                                        An employee from hdfc has sent me a closure form but then he was asking me to pay the charges.
                                        As per RBI it clearly states you cannot charge and make it negative by imposing non maintenance charges as you are not serving the customer in this case.
                                        Please do the needful and help me close the account by waiving off the charges or I will be forced to lodge a complaint with the banking ombudsman.
