Dear hdfc bank,
Jaipur, rajasthan.
Subject: sheer mental harassment & threat by the credit card collection recovery
Dear sir/ madam,
I (Abhijeet ojha), have an account (1843xxxxxx0330) with hdfc (Branch: new sanganer road) since 2010 and a linked credit card (Xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-x555) for almost 4 years. I have always paid my card due on time but the last month i am late on payments due to low financial flow.
I have an overdue balance of one month rs. 6530/- which was due on 05 july 2017 and yet to be paid which i am arranging to clear.
Now, let’s talk about hdfc part, apart from various office landline calls (Which i am not considering as harassment), a collection man/ recovery agent called me from +91-[protected] (Name unknown) and spoke to me on 31 july 2017 in the most abruptive, brusque, loud, intimidating and disrespectful manner possible over the phone. He even threatened me to blacklist my pan and then no one ever will give me job placement anywhere, ‘ab ye (Abhijeet ojha) kahin pe naukri karke dikha de’. I and father told him many times to speak peacefully and listen to our part but he was not ready to listen. He bullied us saying ‘building me hangama karwadu kya’ and threatened that now your neighbors and relatives will pay and hung up the call.
That collection man/ recovery agent from hdfc bank and his call caused me immense mental tension and i am under severe threat.
Kindly confirm if this is actually the way of collecting money from someone who has been paying credit card on time for years and just a single payment behind for the first time and will pay including charges anyway.
Kindly make a formal complaint and disciplinary action against that recovery agent and ask hdfc callers to at least speak in a possible conversational manner.
P. S. I have the above mentioned call recorded and can be provided a copy to you, if needed.
Waiting for a quick positive response and resolution.
Not at all a happy customer,
Abhijeet ojha
