Hi,

I have applied for opening a demat account on 12th july via net banking & got call from [protected], ms mansi joshi (Mobile no. [protected]) from malad branch, mumbai came to my office at charkop & collected all required documents & filled application form, she says it would take 7 days to open your demat account.

Now, 14 days have gone & she is not picking call & no response from her side & extremely unprofessional behaviour she is demonstrating.

I would have written to their support unit for status.
Besides sb a/c and FD l have a trading a/c with HDFC Bk(368413)where 3 UTI mutual funds exist. I intend to sell a portion of my holding.Being a senior citizen and not too conversant with internet, I am unable to make mutual fund registration so vital for making transaction.Please help me

    This is pradeep kumar reddy and unfortunately i am a customer of hdfc bank (Salary account & credit card). This is the most pathetic day of my life when your representative (Xxxxxxx) called me for credit card payment. Could you please confirm how you train your representatives? Did your training team asks them to collect the payment from customer by irritating them like hell? Even a private finance organization will not behave like your collection department representatives definitely i challenge you openly on this issue.

    Customer does not have a right to speak when your representative calls them? Straight away she was saying you do not have right to speak as you have missed your payment and already delayed, is this the way to speak to a customer? Really if the call is from recording line could you please listen to the call which i received today on my mobile (Xxxxxxx678) at 27/07/2017 11.16am and decide how your representatives are behaving to an old customer and you say i am a premium customer (Funny)

    The most pathetic thing is when i request your representative to drop the call as i need to talk to customer care regarding this issue, she says definitely you can complain and no issues for me with your complaint before that tell me when you handover the cash for your card payment. After dropping the call immediately i was calling customer care and you don’t believe literally they made 13 missed calls in the span of 10 minutes when i am speaking to customer care. I attended the initial calls and tried to convey that i am trying to reach customer care and definitely will speak to you later but still they are irritating me with their rude behavior asking for immediate cash payment. Do you think the customer is a beggar or someone who resides on road side to speak like that without giving minimum respect? When i asked her to escalate the issue to next level so that i can speak to respective person, the reply was ‘’nothing doing i need cash immediately (In tamil)’’ don’t you have any rules in hdfc bank? Did she gave money from her pocket to demand like that? Please, please, please just listen to that recording conversation once for god’s sake…..

    I agree and accept that there is a delay in my card payment and i have not even made the minimum due as well due to some financial constraints but could you please take out the list of transactions i have made on my credit card ending with xxxx xxxx xxxx 3160 and the interest which i have paid on my credit card to hdfc bank in last 7 years? Also my salary which got credited in to hdfc bank from past 6 years?

    Finally for just 2lakhs payment, you are treating your customer like a xxxxxxxxx (I can’t explain in words) and also this is not the first time i have seen this behavior from hdfc, this is the 3rd time i have faced this kind of behavior. I know that hdfc is an reputated organization but due to this kind of behavior from collection department mainly from credit cards the organization’s reputation is getting spoiled and losing the customer faith on your bank. Due to this kind of awkward behavior i made a decision to change my salary account to some other bank from hdfc.

    Please consider this from customer perspective and at least try to stop irritating the remaining customers especially who are in some bad financial situations. Definitely i will not recommend hdfc to anyone from now onwards either it is savings or loans or credit cards whatever it is. Actually i feel like circulating the recorded call in social media to get awareness to public like how people behave from collection department especially from hdfc and stay away from any of the credit cards. But i have minimum ethics as a customer which your representatives do not know the meaning of that….

    I received a call from HDFC Collection agency (Landline No : [protected]), the lady who spoke to me was very rude and using abusing words . I do have persona financial crisis and medical expenses which leads to me in pathetic situation.I never experienced such kind of calls. They are sending people to my home and irritating my old parents literally and already they were sick. I cannot bear this any more .Please do take immediate action other wise people like me will do suicide since they cannot tolerate the insult infront of everyone @ home. My name is Vimala and I reside in West tambaram.

My complaint is that i want to settle my credit card amount but from last 2 months m talking about my settlement to ur guys but there is no feedback came out. M paying 3000 rs every month as a minimum due from last 3 years and now after paying so much money my card outstanding is still same. So now i want to settledown that but from last 2 month ur guys says that first pay your minimum due than we process to settle your amount but after paying minimum due they cant pic my phone. And ur costumer care says that sir we cant do anything. So please call me through ur responsible and concerne people and short out my problem.

            I had a salary account with hdfc in the year 2009 when i was working with my first company. Later, moved out and joined some other company. It's been more than 3+ years i haven't done any transaction in hdfc or hardly remember about the account details. Now when i joined my new company where they want me to open hdfc salary account i am unable to do due to my old account negative balance which was not aware and closed. When i contacted bank, they asking me to pay 8000 inr for closing the account. Please suggest what step needs to be taken in this scenario as i need to open the account asap as i didn't receive my salary because of this from last 2 months.

                  I am really frustrated with the service provided by hdfc life. I have the above policy n have submitted the quotation request at least 15 days back n have not received a single call back or revert on this.
                  I have called server times to follow up they are telling there is some delay from our end, some backend issue and not giving any time line when ths issue will resolved. I just wanted to know, is this any serious issue with the technical department to restore his system to generate the quotation, which is taking more than 15 days, where the tat is as per irda guideline it should be resolved within 10 working days, for new policy they are giving quotation within 5 minutes, then why taking more then 15 days to generate the surrender quotation. Need the funds urgently by month end. When will hdfc life give me the quote n when will i ask u foe withdrawal. U will take another 15 days to do a neft then. That is useless. They debit u immediately when taking the funds but when it's their time to give back it's like the govt departments. Pls help me get my money back in this month itself. I think i have to go to the consumer court, as well write a mail to irda as the company is not following the tat given by irda.

                  Hi Manish, I have submitted the surrender and accepted the value provided by hdfc and submitted the all required documents, I received only neft details updated in system, after that no progress, called to customer care they are again explaining me the TAT and all, already its delayed from your side, and not able to fulfill within TAT any request, always they are telling due to GST everything is getting delayed, GST is already implemented in every company and its 1 month over, still not able to server the customer properly, still my policy is showing inforce. please transfer my surrender value as earliest. thanks: Kunal

                    Hdfc has deducted around 1675 from my salary account. On enquiry the customer care informed me it was because of non maintenance. But according to the hdfc bank's policy there is no maintenance charge for a salary account. Then how can they charge me. My salary account was opened in june only.
                    I m solely dependant on my salary and if the bank keeps charging me for its personal greed how will i manage my expenses? I am very much unhappy with the bank's way of treating its customer.

                        1. Fraudulently increase the interest on death credit cards,
                        2. Non - closing/settle account from[protected] after complaint and request from customer.
                        3. Legal notice from hdfc bank, pibco building, guwahati.

                        I am keep communicating from 2013 to close and settle but till date, they neither close nor settled. Top of it they send me legal notice for 3rd time. Close the matter by the date of first complaint 2013 as mentioned in doc.

                          This is pertaining to my complaint id 1356383 dated 9th july 2017. I have tried to make online payment of rs 2847/- to bigbasket on 8th july 2017. The amount was deducted from my saving account but the payment was not credited to bigbasket.
                          As given to understand, the failed payment gets credited to the bank account with in 7 days of the transaction. It has already been 17 days, but i have not yet received a refund of the amount deducted wrongly from my bank account. Despite following up with hdfc team on call and through email, i am not getting any concrete reply on the same.

                              I had obtained life insurance plan for two year from hdfc ergo life gen. Insurance ltd to my self own and spouse with single premium of rs.13743/-from my credit card recovered by the insurance co. 1 years back (Since from 02.06.2016) and hdfc insurance co. To allow me to this amount should be refunded to hdfc credit card bank in equally 24 emi of rs.655/-per month without any extra charges. This time i have deposited the all amount in advance to bank with cash deposit two times 900 and 5 times cheque of rs.2620/- for four months as advance payment have been deposited. And nothing due against me now. Since then i have dropped 10 letters cum emails send to the hdfc to update and clear my account for the credit card account in their records. Even after repeatedly dropping the filled forms and letters/emails, the bank is unable to do it. I got frustrated at this and called the customer care (Contacted them countless no. Of times and all they say is that my relationship manager will call me which never happens. She is somehow always on leave. After 6 to 7 calls to customer care, someone calls up and says my relationship manager is on leave and they are calling on behalf of her; but...

                                Why hdfc has set it's own rule of home branch withdrawal limit. It there is any rbi guideline for it help me with the link or article.

                                Have to consider closing my 8+years salary and switch to other if hdfc is taking customers for granted.

                                Will close my cc and saving account if the issue is not addrssed.
                                Ur personal banker are also of no use

                                  We had approached your bank on 2nd june-2017 for closer of our loan account of both auto loan, they have insisted for pre clouser charges, we had shown them consent letter of your officer mr. Sharma.
                                  Now, they says that we have wrote a letter to mumbai office and waiting for their consent.
                                  This is a non standard policy of your bank that while getting business from customer, you are promising something, and while on application is is totally different, we had a credit balance in our current account fro which you are not giving us any interest, and intensely to loot the customers with different type of accuses to get more amount from the customer, we want to pay full amount of balance of loan amount immediately, if is is not resolved immediately, we will claim for the loss of interest we have to bear for keeping balance with your bank at zero interest and paying interest for 10.25% for not receiving payment on our loan account.

                                    Hdfc sales executive has been tormenting me regarding credit card although i told her that i was not well. And she is abusing me for not being able to pick up the call. I was not able to pick up as i was in hospital. She gave me 25 calls on my mobilel. I was disturbed at the hospital because of her and now she is using filthy language. If appropriate action is not taken i will take this is consumer forum and social media

                                      Sub – severe frauds to sell insurance by hdfc life broker

                                      Dear all,
                                      This is to highlight the grave frauds by agents and broker of hdfc life, below i am narrating the entire story how i and my family has been cheated.
                                      My name is danish absar. I received a call from a person named as gaurav walia around 24th jan 17 and he explained me a plan named hdfc life sanchay with following benefits:-
                                      1. Inr 32, 000 is to be paid annually for 5 years only, after on completion of 6th year i can withdraw and i will get an amount of inr 252585 and if i keep it till 15 years, i will get inr 545380. But he said he understand that 15 years is a long period therefore he also recommends to stay for 5 years.
                                      2. Also in addition to this he claimed to be calling from hdfc life direct office (He gave me the address as plot no 131/140, first floor, ansal chamber, bikaji cama palace, new delhi and not from a broker therefore following additional benefits will be provided to me.
                                      A. Commission 30% of 32000 to be refunded to me for 3 years as i am buying this policy from direct company and no broker involved. Also he said that as a privilege hdfc customer he will put a request of entire 3 years amount in one go. This commission will directly come in my account through neft.

                                      B. A mediclaim benefit for me and my family till 15 years, this will be covered for myself and my 5 family members for an amount of 15000 per month can be claimed. This includes opd bills, medical tests, medicine bills etc. He said i will get cards for all individuals printed when i get the policy bond paper.
                                      Also he spoke about various payment options, since i am a hdfc bank credit card holder he said i can get the instalments also interest free.
                                      I did not want to take the policy initially as i already made investments for the financial year but he used convincing skills and gave me confidence.
                                      Gaurav walia also gave me his address to create trust on him. He gave me his employee id as 014329, personal mobile no – [protected] and his address as house no – 78, pocket a, green valley apartment, sector 8 rohini, new delhi.
                                      He also transferred call to a lady who claimed to be his senior manager and shared the same benefits multiple times to create interest.
                                      I told her that i would like to find the details online but she said these benefits are exclusive for hdfc life direct sales and are not available online.
                                      They immediately got me connected to another person called akash wadhwa, mob no – [protected] who claimed to be another manager who manages field executives. By evening 7pm, there was a person who came to collect my documents and i gave him my pan, voter id, cancelled cheque for commission to be neft, 2 photographs, credit card impression and photocopy. He told me to sign and just let him go. Akash wadhwa also called me to confirm about documents submission and told me to give rs 100 to field executive as he is hungry and does not have money which i gave.
                                      I was told that i will get verification calls and i should not highlight the benefits mentioned apart from normal 32000 policy for 5 years and term is 15 years. Gaurav, punit and many others kept calling me and reminded me several times about this. They all used to say that if i disclose any of the benefits then i will not get commission and it will go to broker. I ended up doing the same. I received 2-3 verification calls and they asked me what i know about the policy and i never disclosed any benefit under their influence.
                                      After that next day morning i received a call from gaurav again who connected me to another senior manager named punit malik – [protected], punit told me about very heavy benefits if i can make more investments to which i said no.
                                      Punit malik gave me confidence that now processing will start and i should get my benefits soon. On 30th jan 17, 32000 were taken out from my credit card for hdfc standard life insurance. He also gave me his house address as d1/103, janakpuri b1, new delhi to gain trust.
                                      After then i was told that i will get a policy welcome letter which is just to ensure that there are no clerical errors in database e. G. Dob, address, name etc of entire family. They said my mediclaim cards and a court insurance policy bond will only come after 25-30 days from mumbai.
                                      Meanwhile in a week’s time i received a insurance policy kit by courier which was mentioned as welcome letter by them and i saw sum assured mentioned as inr 119572 and not the committed one. I called and checked with gaurav to which he said it is just a document from broker and my original amount of inr 252585 will be highlighted in policy bond papers.
                                      Also i was happy with the benfits mentioned and gaurav asked me for few references and i gave my younger brother`s contact no and his wife. Upon my suggestion they also bought the same policy. Total we have 3 hdfc life sanchay policies in our house.
                                      I was told that i can pay by credit card and later can convert into emis which will be interst free as they will credit the interest in my card directly once i pay the emis
                                      I was regularly called and updated about progress and received calls also to know details of my family members for mediclaim purposes by a lady called harshita ([protected], [protected]). I received various calls from her and others on a regular basis to tell me that there is printing delay and i should get my everything by 30th mar.

                                      On 29th mar i received a call from a female called mahi who called me from mobile no [protected], she said that she is calling from mayur vihar hdfc life office and they are checking with customers if i have received all documents or not due to financial year is closing. I told her that i have only received a welcome letter and my bond and medical cards are left. She then told me that i will not get any other document and there is no such benefit included at all. She told me that i am cheated and i should report this incident.
                                      Yesterday 1st april my brother visited hdfc life office in new friends colony and met with manager there. They also said that we are cheated and there are several frauds going on by brokers. He told me that i will not get anything after five years but only after 15 years. He clarified everything in detail and told me to report the matter immediately.

                                      I am a very old customer of hdfc bank. I have had my salary account in hdfc. I use hdfc credit card from about 12-13 years now. My friends are using hdfc credit cards and current accounts for their business purposes. I really like and promote the services hdfc provides but this time my family`s trust is shattered and i will not be recommending any hdfc product to anyone.
                                      We are middle class salary earning family and cannot afford such frauds. We have been cheated for 32000*3 = 96000 by these people. We cannot even afford to pay it for 5 years like this and continue with the plan. We would like this to immediately terminate the policy and refund our hard earned money. We cannot continue a relation which is based on such frauds.
                                      In feb 17, i am diagnosed with a neuro problem and under gone various tests mri brain, blood tests etc. I am on medication for the same and doctor will review in next month. I discussed this with gaurav and he told me that he will get all of them reimbursed. I have already mailed them all the documents of inr 25000 approx to be claimed under the mediclaim he mentioned.

                                      This is my request to take this matter up immediately. We would want a fraud case to be registered in these people`s name. They should be penalised and appropriate legal action to be taken.

                                      Though i have mentioned everything in detail but we can discuss this further if required.
                                      I am also mentioning the numbers form which i received these calls. I am sure recordings can also be fetched for the sales.
