I want to close my saving and demat account which i have mention above. I have visited the nearest (Magarpatta city, hadapsar, pune) branch as suggested by customer care but they do not solve my problem, they given excuse that they don’t close saving account, first you need to close demat account and for this you need to visit (East street camp branch, pune) because we do not handle closer for demat account.
We have visited east street camp branch, pune, they said first you need to pay 1238/ and then you are able to close demat account but as per customer care complaint hdfc customer care person already said you need to pay 450/. I have no idea why the same hdfc bank employee telling different.. Different thing. After some discussion i agree to pay 1238/- for closing demat account. Demat help desk employee said pay through cash and we will proceed further, i bring cash from atm now again drama drama drama by hdfc, east street camp branch, they said no sir you need to pay by claque of other bank not hdfc bank claque because your account is showing dormat. I agree to pay by claque also but they said come to monday then deposit your claque once the claque will get cleared you need to submit the demat account closer form. I said ok now again drama ma’am after that you need to close trading account and now i shouted and said i am not going to close anything. For closing saving account you need to spend 1500k / 2000k for travel one branch to other branch because it will take 6 o may be 7 days and we are not sure they will close the account.
Extremely unprofessional behavior, is really pathetic. It takes hell lot of time i have travel on branch to other branch but they are unprofessional even they have no idea to how to handle customer.
1. Ram sharma ([protected], [protected]) has opened my account in jaipur branch for salary account … demant and trading account opened without my knowledge. I have no idea of demat/trading account and never used. Why they have opened demat/trading account and now i am facing the issue. I am not going to visit any hdfc branch to close my saving/demat/trading account. They are just playing with customer time and money. I will pay through online or either they will pay my traveling allowance and time value. Because i have tried my best and visited branch many times.
2. Vindo kumar-[protected] scheme branch person said just visit near brunch and submit the closer form they have provided the link also. I have already visited two branch in same days and after discussing with hdfc bank person i need to visit many times to close the account why i will suffered.
I am ready to pay through online and send closing form on address. Either hdfc pay my travelling amount and time which i am going to spend. Because i have not open the demat and trading account.

Below is the mail which i have received i marked bold some of the key points with "...".

This mail clear said go to nearest branch and close your demat account.

Please stop cheating to customer if they are not aware of demat account then why you gusy opeing only for your profit.

This issue is still not get resolved, i am continuously getting the mail and message regrading demat account, even i have received a mail to show the confirmation regarding account closer slip, i have already sent but HDFC guys is not responding my mail.

      I applied to open an account in hdfc bank thirivalla through online 2 months before. First few weeks there is no response from the bank so that i contact one of the staff in hdfc bank thiruvalla. Then they contact the account opening department and connect with me. Account opening started and one excecutive named sonali sawat mailed me through the email id [protected]@hdfcbanknri.com. She give me nri account opening form and the details about the list of documents to be submitted. I submit all the documents through mail. Two weeks before she mail me to send the documents through dhl corrier service. I given the address to pickup my package. But no one came and collect the documents. After that i tried to contact with sonali. There is no response from her. I am not happy with their services. For opening an account we should spend 2 months. And it's not yet completed. If they don't want to open then tell me. I will approach another bank. I don't want to wait this much time for opening an account. If the initial process is like this then how the customer will proceed. My friend from qatar also ask for opening. If they will not respond. We will pass this message to family members and friends about their response and process delay. Worst service. Thank you

        I have hdfc savings a/c whose number is [protected]. I had to withdraw amount from my account for an emergency and later on realised that bank has so far deducted 2219 rupees over last 4 months as amb charges. Can i request to refund this amount asap please, it was a very genuine personal emergency. I am very upset with this behaviour, kindly help.

          Details i had debited around rs. 1, 46, 000/-, i had already paid min. Amount due for 14 months around rs. 100000/-. But still i requested to go thru' the court and every day their collection agent coming with a person threatening about more payment you need to pay. Next more attempts stopping and if i speak every half day salary i need to lose for their discussions.
          Their intention i should revert back the notice send to them and making pressure every day. I am helpless. I am unable to pay for them. Around 135700 rs asked me to pay in single shot on 28.07.2017. Which i need to get justice thru' the court.

            I hate hdfc for all the ignorant attitude towards the customer.
            I was not informed on mail or on message that my account balance is low and i need to credit some amount otherwise rs 531 will be charged.

            Hdfc bank charged 531 rupees two times from my account without informing me. Because of this one of my payments cheque bounced which is an embarrassment to me.

            Due to that bounced cheque i need to pay 250 as a penalty.

            I want to close my account with you people and want my money to be refunded.

              Hdfc home loan dept. Has refused to pay the loan amount stating that the quantity of vacate land for which loan applied for is less than 1.5 katha, but neither refunded the deposit amount nor responded to the mails forwarded to them on 22/06/2017 & 05/07/2017 related to the refund of amount of rs.11, 615/- paid to them during the submission of home loan application. Their representative did not disclosed the fact that the loan may not be considered against the land of below 1.5 katha. Copy of mail to hdfc customer care dtd. 05/07/2017 is attached herewith.

                Sir,
                I have received sms from hdfc bank that rs-1299/- deducted from my credit card to one assist plan without my permission.. I called many time on 28th july to deactivate but they told me to call oneassist and resolve the problem. I called oneassist customer care who refused to deactivate. They hold hdfc staff responsible. Deactivate my plan soon and refund my amount.

                The complaint was resolved after many phone calls to customer care of one assist. The plan comes activated with new HDfc credit card by default. It's a bad decision of hdfc management.

                Once again HDFC has sent me a message informing me that they converted the OneAssist subscription amount into EMI, without my consent.
                I want this OneAssist cancelled and money back to my card.

                  Dear sir,

                  I have tried all possible ways to connect via phone but none of your numbers dial. I live in the uk and after waiting for 14 minutes on your customer care they disconnected. More than pissed i feel bad i choose to bank with you.

                  My wife was distributed a card for free, we used it regularly and paid bills. Last month or maybe 40 days ago i paid 50000 as we recently shifted to uk i was busy with work so did not get the time to check my old emails. Surprisingly, i get calls from your bank and they harass my family and relatives in india. You hired some illiterate named shikha nagpal who said she is from rajouri garden wealth team. She called and shouted on my dad who is a 65 year old man and threatened him. Are you a bank or are you a gunda? This is ridiculous, we have so many accounts in hdfc from so many years with 2 nri accounts and 2 more nri accounts applied for me and my wife, i want to close them all and this diners card [protected], i was denied statement by her as i wanted full and final statement. I want to clear this card and be free as she said i have taken credit and ran from the country. Before anything i want an apology from her to my father who was in tears. He runs a 65 year old national level business and has never experienced this before in his life. I want her to apologize for the behavior and want to know the full and final bill of my card and also i want to close 8 accounts we all have. Please tell me the way to do this from uk.

                  Looking forward for a reply, i hope you do reply and solve this problem as i cant keep calling you guys again and again.

                    Hi this is yasmeen

                    I want to know why the amount has been deducted without my knowledge and i had not even received any sms, on 22nd july 2017, amount has been deducted 2 times, 1st time the amount is rs.531, & same day again they have deducted rs.351. Then they had credited rs.531 to account on 26th july, again it has been deducted on the same day. If this is the case i want to cancel my account in hdfc bank.
                    On 22nd of july 2017, my account balance was rs.1977, without any transaction and withrdrawal my a/c balnce is rs.1092. Kindly check this concern and refund the deducted amonut as soon as possible.

                      Yesterday they have deducted rs 472 from my savings (Salary account) account illegally without asking the customer.
                      Attached is the screenshot.

                      I have requested cheque book (Salary account) twice from my net banking still i didn't get the cheque book. They don't know the basic etiquette how to handle customer and they don't even call the customer that whether customer cheque book is dispatched or its in bank. Still i don't have the cheque book.

                      Still they don't have any justification why my money has been deducted.

                        Hi customer service,

                        I have apply for "no objection certificate" for the settlement that was done on my hdfc bank credit card#[protected] in april. I did apply for noc from may onward through your collection department, they said that same would provide me within 15 days after completion the dues but i'm still awaiting. The same also applied via helpline. Reference#[protected], [protected], [protected] and [protected] but still i'm dragging.

                        I have left no stone unturned apart from one but all in vain.
                        It was needed urgently but still i am dragging. I have also sent a mail to customer services. [protected]@hdfbank.com but no response from there.

                        Can i have any favorable response from you immediately.

                          Me and my mother have a joint account in hdfc, patna branch. She is a primary account holder and the kyc details for her was updated but for mine it was not. I agree that this is a miss from our side. But is it right that without giving any prior information you can block someone's account?
                          Though i went and submitted my documents for kyc updation in the nearby branch. (I don't stay any longer in patna now). I gave the employee details of the person who has collected my document to the concerned team in patna branch to verify the same. But they said they can't unblock my mother's account until and unless the details will reflect in the database and it will take another 04-05 days to it.
                          My mother is a senior citizen and she is struggling everyday as her account is blocked. She had been a part of hdfc for more than 14 years. Don't you guys think this is not the way you treat some old customer of yours.

                                My outstanding amount to bank is rs.82000.

                                Today morning your outsource agent named santosh cell no [protected]

                                Came to my residence for payment

                                Of minimum due amt rs.4670.

                                He has made me connected to one of your manager named mr. Sandeep [protected].

                                His behaviour was nusance.

                                    Now i have received a second account statement, i do not think hdfc is any customer concerned. Hdfc bill fake amounts to customer and ignore after wards making them bad in cibil. I am receiving credit card statement on email where as i have cut and sent the card way back to you. Now i do not even know the card number to view what fake billing now hdfc have charged me.

                                    I have done numerous conversation with your executives and all went to nowhere in fact now i have a feeling hdfc is trying to avoid conversation so that they can imposed this charge forcibly.
                                    Again i would like to mention that this is not the card that was promised to me, i shared the number of the executive that shared this card.in fact the number is still active and they are taking calls for new credit card. I mentioned the number in my previous email which i sent in february.
                                    This is not the card promised to me, this is forcibly pushed to me, prove it that i have requested this
                                    Card, i will pay. But i can tell you i had enough with hdfc. The first thing i will be doing is to remove my
                                    Salary account from you. I will share all the details with my hr.

                                    I have attached the excel sheet of the different communication with hdfc along with the communication in feb.

                                      Your sales representative has contacted me in month of feb 2017. I have given my documents to him on 14th feb. I have received my card in month of mar2017. Sales representative name was ganesh (Contact no : [protected]). I have finished 4 transactions with credit card issued before 30mar2017. I too have wats app conversation as proof of communication with sales guy ([protected]) till 24 apr2017.

                                      I would like to inform that sales person has clearly told that credit card (Regalia) is completely free card. He clearly said that there wont be any annual fees or charges on card and considering the card as free, i have agreed for issuance.

                                      Now it will be injustice if i had to pay annual fees which i was not communicated before taking card.

                                      I have 3 different credit cards from other banks which does not have any annual fees and also dont encourage myself to take card with annual fees or any other charges irrespective of multiple benefits available. I have never been defaulted by any bank for delay payment or charges.

                                      Its really very painful to spend time on this issue. I have already hotlisted regalia credit card before 2 months due unsolicited call from number ([protected]) and planning to cancel. I do not find hdfc bank safe for credit card as my card details are compromised and getting calls from individuals calling herself as hdfc employee.

                                      Please take your time to investigate the matter and i can provide all details which you need but kindly reverse annual fees at earliest on my card so that i can initiate process to cancel the card.

                                      I am salary account holder of hdfc bank and an employee of itc infotech ltd, bangalore. I have received a call from your sales representative ganesh (No: [protected]/[protected]) 3-4 months before. Sales representative clearly said that hdfc regalia card has no membership fees and annual charges, based on which i agreed to take card from hdfc bank. He also asked me to do 3 translations to make the card active so i did 3 transations. But later i got call from lady with a mobile number ([protected]) who was saying herself as customer care executive from hdfc bank and taking confirmation whether i finished 3 transactions. She also said that she will be crediting reward points in my cc account. I found this call as suspicious because bank representative never calls from mobile number. Hence i called customer care and asked them to hotlist my card (552260xxxxxx1412). It was hotlisted by hdfc cc.

                                      But yesterday i received cc statement inr 2875 against card number (55xxxxxxxxx4114) which shows active in my a/c. I am not sure if new cc is issued against my a/c because i have not received new card also not requested for it calling customer care or through email. I have only requested priority lounge card few days before hotlisting my ragalia cc (Ending with 1412).

                                      As explained by sales representative, i have agreed to take card considering it free (Joining + membership) and also requested priority launge card. But now when i called customer care, she said that the card has annual fees. I consider myself as cheated and disappointed by employees of hdfc bank.

                                      I have decided to cancel my credit card and priority launge pass and will send letter by post as suggested by your customer care executive. As card issuance is done based on false information about the annual fees free, please consider my request to reverse annual fees on my card. I will send a letter to chennai head office within a week.

                                      I gave all details about my complaint in email chain to customerservices.[protected]@hdfcbank.com. I am concerned about last date 05Aug 2017 for credit card bill payment containing annual fees. If issue does not resolve and I do not do payment, I will be defaulted for late payment fees and impact my credit profile. I had very good credit record and CBIL score is 816 as I have always paid outstanding on time.

                                      This is very good lesson for me not to apply any credit card in future because sales convince customers to take credit card based on false promise to meet their target, more over customer care does not support to resolve issue and force customers to pay annual fees. At the end, customer suffers.

                                      This bank is earning lots of profit by misselling the products and looting the innocent customers.

                                      I recommend people to stay away from this bank.
