1.HDFC credit card doesn't provide/disclose the service tax it is levying on one of its smart pay options which it advertises as very convenient option for paying your bills.
2. They levy service and other charges making the service expensive, while other service providers give a net cash back on such payments.
3. When you try to cancel and delete the billers through smart pay. Though at the top of the section they write ADD/Delete billers, there is no provision to delete them. On searching painstakingly the whole page, in fine print it is written that these can be deleted only through phone banking.
4. There are no phone banking call numbers provided in the credit card log in page and otherwise also these numbers are not very well advertised.
5. even if you happen to establish contact with phone banking it takes ages to even talk to a single phone banking executive.
6. Even if you happen to contatct a single phone banking executive he takes ages to restrain you from cancelling this option again camouflaging the dishonest practices by sweet talk.

    Hi guys,

    My name is amit and i applied for hdfc credit card and their representative called me and took all my details, and then one guy came to my house and collected my existing credit card (Axis bank) pencil mark, my existing credit card statement, address proof, pan, signature on form etc. The hdfc bank representative assured me that i would get credit card on the basis of existing credit card (I have axis bank credit card for three years and never got into any trouble)

    After that, i got call for verification which i verified successfully and they told me to wait for few days and you can check your verification on hdfc site. After 15 days, i checked my application status and it was denied.

    I called hdfc customer care that why my application was denied because i submitted everything like my existing credit card statement, address proof, pan, pencil mark of my existing credit card (Axis bank). They did not give me any answer and cut my call.

    After that, i did little bit research on internet and found that they are doing this scam for many persons and i got an email from one forum that i should write to [protected]@hdfcbank.com. So, i wrote all details and sent an email to them. I got reply from them that they want to review it again. I said ok.

    After that, i got call from same representative and again they took all my details. I handled the situation calmly to find out, how hdfc bank is doing fraud to many people and collecting their documents and wasting their time. I wanted to know the outcome of this fraud/scam.

    Now, one guy came to my house again and took pictures of my house and asked all my details which i verified successfully. After that, again i got call for verification and i verified all my details successfully and i was asked to wait. After that, i got message on my phone they they want to verify me digitally like through connecting my gmail and facebook account to their servers which i did successfully. I got another message that i can check my status on hdfc site. After 10 days, i was denied again, this is second time, guys after doing tons of drams my hdfc bank, i wasted my precious time.

    Another drama by hdfc bank.

    I sent an email to [protected]@hdfcbank.com again and asked about why i am denied again. After discussing with them they told me i need to sign on two other documents and sent hard copy to their office through courier. I told them why i need to do this again and again, you already verified me two times.

    After that, i got call on my phone that one guy would come to my house to get signature on that form. I told them ok. Another guy came to my house and got my signature on that form. Guys this is third time.

    I got another call for verification and i verified successfully. Again after tons of drama, scam, fraud done in the name of giving credit card they denied my application again.

    Guys, if you are looking for hdfc credit card never ever go for that, you would waste your precious time, embarassment, your money on phone calls, photocopies etc.

    I say no to hdfc bank in my life, i got horrible experiences with them.

      I transferred an amount of 10000 from my HDFC to SBI.
      The amount got deducted but not credited to SBI account.

          I have initiate the IMPS transaction to non HDFC account from my HDFC salaried account. money [50, 000/-]is deducted from account but not credited to the beneficiary account

          there is no response from Bank Manager, personal banker and customer care.
          relationship Manager is so arrogant that he not even thought to talk to me.

          There years of trust is lost in few interaction.

          Credit my money bank please

            I had opted for click2protect policy from HDFC life 3 months ago. I paid 3 months EMI ( Thank god I haven't paid one year amount ). in the online when i filling the details. I went to medical tests also as they asked also for issuance of policy.

            Till date I haven't received any policy documents. Every time I need to call customer care and dropping mails to [protected]@hdfclife. ( They do not have any dedicated phone number or proper channel to interact )

            there has been no proper response, .every time they are telling we need height and weight details document and some other info which is already done during the medical examination

            Though I have replied more than 10 times to the same repeated pending documents, they Haven't issued the policy.

            by this experience, I can say how they will handle claims settlement in case o[censored]ntoward incident.

            my suggestion would be don't take any policy with HDFC life. Please see my attached document how many mails communication happened ( I am not attaching all )

            whether he will get his insurance claim money or not or the money will go to the hdfc life personal account, give the answer?

                Respected Sir/Mam,
                I had purchased a Le eco Le 2 on 28th June. I was to receive a cashback of 1200 if payment was done by Hdfc vank debit or credit card.
                I also fullfilled all the criteria for cashback as mentioned in the terms.
                But I have yet not received the cashback for the same.

                As promised the cashback of 1200 was not credited in my account and when I contact LEmall, they deny that its not their fault.
                I have been contacting them for last one month.

                    I'm Rajesh K from Bangalore, chosen hdfc credit card and it was my biggest mistaken ever I had done till now. One to telecaller called me from hdfc ergo to sell me hdfc ergo plan for health insurance and she promised me that I will receive a cashless card where in I can use that in any of the hospitals for my health illness for that they have deducted 7 thousand eight hundred change my hdfc credit card. I was waiting for the card for more than 2 months to be received from the month of may 2016. But I haven't received it. Raised many requests through credit card support team to cancel the ergo plan and to refund it to the credit card. They said you will receive a cal from our support team within 24 to 48 hours. No call will was received from their end. It was very bogus bank and company where we should not trust them. I request to get the issue solved at the earliest.

                      I transferred Rs.1, 10, 000 from my HDFC Saving Acct xxxxxxxxx73772 on Friday (30th Sept.2016) evening at around 8:30 PM to my SBI Saving Account xxxxxxx33321 (IFSC SBIN0006893) through IMPS reference No.[protected] . Although the amount was debited from my HDFC Bank account, the transfer was declined due to technical issue at the beneficiary bank (SBI, Lucknow). This was conveyed by the message.

                        I am having a saving accounts in hdfc from past two years with account number [protected] in kota rajasthan with IFSC code :HDFC0000004 on the name of Chandra sekhar M.
                        Yesterday i made an imps of 10000 but the status is coming out to be timed out and account has been debited but not credited to the benificiary. I have called so many times to customer care but no clear response is there from their side.
                        Kindly help as it is a big amount and i am truely in trouble rightnow.

                          This is regarding my credit card application no [protected]s2. My company is a hdfc client and i had applied for credit card some 6-8 months back through a travel desk which happened in my office. I submitted all docs but the credit card never came. Again sep 1st week, i was contacted by someone called as shweta from hdfc saying that she is reopening my application for the credit card. After much to and fro and innumberble calls, i submitted docs (Once again)! I also got confirmation calls twice from hdfc and sms confirmation. Yesterday when i checked for status of my credit card, i see its disapproved! I was surprised, because i wasn't even aware of this. I would have appreciated if shweta would have informed or contacted me and helped sort it out. After investing so much time and effort for selling me a credit card - you cant leave the customer like that. Be responsive! I have been trying to call her since yesterday but she kept disconnecting after hearing my name and since then her phone is switched off! Really?

                          Hdfc - please hear out and get some basic sense in place of being responsive! Shweta's number is - [protected].

                              Hi, i have made the hdfc credit card amount 14769.64 on 12th sep which is showing the total due amount on my net banking. It was deposited at the same day only. After two days (14/09) its still shown the due amount is 520 rs. After next day the statement was generated and sent to my mail same statement with the total outstanding due amount is 13774.36 rs.. For this i have contacted to customer care executive.. He said the bill was generated automatically based on your due amount. Then i asked to him i already made the total amount on 12th sep only. Then how you guys are calculate the tax for 0 rs amount and how it was generated on 137.36 rs amount please clarify me. But that lady rudly said the answer and you have to pay no option for you like that she said and immediatly cut the call.

                                My account has been debited against the depository charges of Rs.862.50, please let me know what is this charges mean.

                                Also let me know on what reasons this amount gets deducted, and how to get the amount refunded back.

                                How can sometime deduct the amount without my information which is very surprising.

                                This is not the first time that HDFC bank is deducting amount from my account without my information.

                                Kindly revert back asap.

                                I am a customer with hdfc bank for the last 20yrs and even after my continuous calls and requests regarding the upgradation of my platinum credit card there is no response from ur bank. It is really shamfull that such a thing I have to face.

                                    I am ravi verma.I have put my request in your customer care for buying a new insurance policy from your company.
                                    I have put first request on 15th of Sep 2016.Since i am getting only false commitment from your customer care. I don't understand why they people are miss committed with your new prospected customers.In fact they are misbehaving with me. I think your company has lot of business and now they are not looking for new business. I must say that you should improvise your customer care team because customer care team is always a back bone of any company.

                                    Yesterday i had word with Abhay (CCE) who had committed me for today at 11:00AM meeting .When today i didn't get any call then i called again in your customer care then Mr. Vinesh Mahapatra (CCE) again given me meeting time for tomorrow. When i asked him that i want to have word with your senior then he told me that he had already word with him you can not talk to him. You can also cross check at your systems that how many times i have put the request for meeting.

                                    Again i am requesting you that you are the no 1 brand for this country. So please improvise your Customer Care department. and teach your CCE to how to talk with new or existing customers. Because if they are getting salary so just because o[censored]s.They are sitting for us to give good service not for misbehave with us.

                                    So finally again i am telling you that i am interested to buy a new policy. Please arrange a call from your sales department to advice which policy will be better for me.

                                      I am card holder of hdfc bank (salary and credit card). credi card department has put my money on hold of amount rs 7000 without intimating me. i paid my principal amount and requested them to release my rest of money. they simply denied and replied that we will deduct entire amount of rs 7000 and then we will release your account.

                                      This is my salary account and every month credit card department are levying some or other charges and holding my money without intimating me.

                                      I am single mom, have to take care of my baby. would request you to please take a serious action against hdfc credit card department and let me know if you need any further information on below mentioned id:

                                        I work in a reputed firm in gurgaon, and had to get a savings Acc opened with Hdfc bank. I approached the HDFC representative coming to my firm, and he took all the documentation and 2 cheques, one for 10200 and other for 1000 and money has been debited from my Account, but I have not got any activation confirmation for the last two and a half weeks.
                                        Moreover the representatives, don't even respond over call.

                                        Pls help over this urgently.
