As this is my opinion and experience with HDFC Staff not co-operation with customers, he was treated as Govt. Office babu, this is example just I am suffering as same, call my self HDFC Loan manager Mr. Rajiv or Rajesh Sonkar and say him, sir as per discussion with you, for payments deposit against EMI bounced, please collected or suggested me for deposit.
And also request him please way off our charges, because of not deposit against your un authorized charges,
he was committed to me yes this is way off as payments time, so I am calling him for same, he was not agree and told us do not deposit payments, I can't way off your charges.
Again requested him for same but not given any satisfactory solutions
so I am decided to go through consumer forum if any problem created by HDFC staff .
do not payment given any unwanted charges as I told his loan manager, he was doing delay only just because of charges penalty,

    I would like to inform you that, i have many time called your customer care toll-free no. [protected] but my call not attended anyone of your customer care center.
    I have issued new credit card of your bank side, i used this credit card in any online shopping site and i filled up all required detail related from credit card than at the last transaction failed and after the transaction failed message show on screen "your email id and mobile no. Is not available in our record so please requested contact customer care center" but my email id and mobile no. Is already recorded in our net banking id. So you requested please resolve this issue and after the resolved please revert me my gmail id (Verma. Deepak. [protected]@gmail.com).

    For your reference, i have attached a screen shot of error message.

      I've took hdfc jumbo loan against credit card 2 years before. The amount is 70, 000. Its 36 month tenure, and monthly payment is 2320. I was paying it properly last 2 years. Last month my account balance went down and autopay did not debited the amount (23/may/2016). The bank charged me as following

      Payment return fee : 450.00
      Autopay returned : 2, 320.99
      Autopay thank you : 2, 320.99
      Late fee : 500.00
      Service tax : 63.00
      Jumboloan, int nbr:20, [protected]: 357.90
      Jumboloan, prin nb:20, [protected]: 1, 963.09
      Cess tax : 2.25

      Total : 5, 657.23

      Due date 23/jun/2016

      2 week before an hdfc representative called for not paying the amount. He told me to pay amount as soon as possible and i said will pay on 3 days after that day. After some time i received call from them regarding same, and it repeated, i cut the subsequent call from them. The next day at 10am i start receiving calls from them, i cut the call and i received approximately 50 call from them that day. Next day about 77 calls. I've amount at my hand but i still not payed the amount, i will be paying on 23/jun/2016 only. From that day to today i've received over 750 call from hdfc bank. They are speaking in a manner that "you should pay some how today, other wise we will continue calling" in small threatening manner but not with the words, in safe language to indicate they are not threatning. When i try to tell something he just keep telling "you should pay some how today" again and again and again.
      I receiving calls from following numbers only few listed.

      And similar so many numbers. It ring continuously one after another with new phone number using some automated system. Now i'm handling this call using auto reject call feature on my phone. But they call my home landline line number and telling my family that i was not picking the call. Just a second after making one call they call again like nothing happened before. Today i took the call in my phone to tell don't call at home, but no one speaking to me thinking i wont take call as usual. Just after that they called my home telling i didn't picked the call. If i would answer their call i need to sit all day for them. They are doing intentionally just want to irritate us to make payment. I never knew about this kind of new generation banking going around us, before paying the amount i would like to know whats going on since i've a revised fine+return amount with due date on 23/jun/2016.

      Still receiving calls even in sunday, In very rude manner just like I've lent money from him and not payed for years. He didnt allowed me to tell a word, just yelling at me, and I cut the call.         Sharing of personal data with third party vendors

        This is to complaint about mr. Krishna yadav, an employee hired by hdfc bank for managing clients with loan requests
        Indulged and committed breach of data protection by sharing my contact details to a third party vendor for axis bank.
        Ms. Ekta kothari from the third party loan vendor has confirmed that the contact details were shared with her by mr. Yadav.
        This is to my knowledge and it also holds a higher risk now...

        Hi all,

        I need to focus the attention on the unnecessary harassment caused by the hdfc bank by sending unnecessary sms demanding money from my (Salary account - requested for closeure) hdfc bank account on the pretext of maintaining the minimum balance.

        The case is like this that i was holding the salary account with hdfc bank and i had already left my job in last october 2015.In the month of november 2015, i had already withdraw my balance from hdfc bank and do nothing still date with those account. I had already couriered the letter with passbook to close my accounts with them.

        But from the last 2 months, i am getting the sms saying that your account balance was not maintained so there is 300 inr something is penalty.
        This sms is coming is each month.

        I don't know why the hdfc bank people are either illiterate or don't know the govt policies, if not then they should read the following link :

        I think hdfc bank is the worst bank of clerical people who does not understand the english and that why don't know about the govt. Policies.


        I am planning to report this matter to ombudsman against the hdfc

        Please note that the next time, if i got any sms of this kind then i will take the necessary action as the indian citizen against the hdfc bank.
        Also note that i will neither pay a penny to hdfc bank.

          I am using hdfc credit card from past one year, the person from hdfc had introduced the card saying like there is no extra or finance charges are applicable for solitare card, then i took that, i spent almost 40 to 50k, in the first qtr, i was not aware thete are charging me finance charges and all, my credit limit was 40, 000K, suddenly they made 33, 000k with out intimataion & made charges like overlimit charges, then they were adding many charges like fine charges, overlimit charge, service charge, finance charges, late payment charges, for every month they are applying extra charges, , simply they made me to pay extra 15 to 20000rs, i dont want to pay that all charges please help me out in this

              My credit card no.[protected]. To utter my surprise it was de activated without my knowledge, leaving me embraced for non payment of my purchases. I have received a message for payment of rs about less than rs 500/, for renewal of the card, which was paid. You as hdfc bank may treat your business departments separately, as a customer having a loan, like saving account, current account, insurance policies, car insurances, house loans, car loans, stock investments, and some other loans.

              My only question is, do i have to deal with different departments for each issue, if please let me know by 24 hours. So that i can plan accordingly. I have all the documents for my complaint.

                I went to the bank on[protected] at around 4.30 pm to deposit cheque which i do it every month.when i went the security guard talked to me rudely then when i told the same thing to the bank people but they just smiled and were doing their work.when i came out after depositing the cheque i told him speak with respect for which he started shouting loudly and was coming onto me.he was using very abusive and foul language.everyone were seeing but none came out and stopped him it is when other security guard stopped him he went inside.
                kindly i request the branch people to take action against him for his behaviour.

                  My salary account(in HDFC bank) was created in my previous company, so once i left the company and joined somewhere else i had to open another salary account. Now my salary account in hdfc bank has been converted to savings account(without informing me or warning me) after that i called to customer care and informed that to close the account, they informed that we will take action and close the account, after that i have not checked about that.

                  Recently i tried to login with my customer id, i am able to login and they have charged me penalty for not maintaining minimum balance.

                    I have requested to block my HDFC credit card about a year ago & the card got blocked.
                    Now after a year, they have sent me a bill with which includes the renewal charges, along with the new card number which I have never received.

                    When I called them they are like you have blocked the card but not closed the card account, (If you have not closed the account, why you didn't sent me the new card, what's the logic of not providing service & charging on it) & when I asked them to close the card account they said they need to send a form to Chennai (which form they are not ready to confirm).

                    I do not understand if you have blocked the card, what is the relevance of keeping an account & unnecessary charging on that account.

                    This is simply unacceptable, & customer care people are so pathetic they don't even know which department is handing such query, they just kept on transferring the call to multiple people.

                    Kindly get this issue solved asap.

                        Subject: regarding personal loan application (Uap 3672810) which i applied to hdfc bank in april, 2016.

                        Sir,

                        My name is om prakash. I am working in it company as sr. Software engineer.
                        I applied for a personal loan to hdfc bank in april 2016. Hdfc bank staff collected all the required documents needed for personal loan and also done the personal and address verification later on. It was all clear and verified by hdfc bank.

                        Later on, they agreed to sanction a loan amount of around rs1, 90000. But they offered to merge my previous running personal loan (Loan a/c[protected] with hdfc itself to this new loan. I requested, since i have already paid 16 emis of previous loan so i am not interested to merge it. I requested to sanction a new loan separately as a fresh loan. They agreed to do that.

                        Since then i have been calling them regarding the updates on that but they never responded. They have ruined all my family plans and all. I was completely distressed and could not concentrate on my work for long.

                        I am looking forward for your kind consideration for a penalty and punishment for them.

                          To whomsoever it may concern

                          I have a few concerns regarding my credit and debit card and savings account.

                          1 - ecs -
                          I hold both a savings account as well as a credit card with your bank.
                          However after a few weeks o[censored]sage, i received information through sms
                          Ervice that an auto pay deduction towards the minimum due on credit
                          Card payment has been debited to my savings account in favour of the
                          Credit card. I was surprised as i have never authorized or instructed
                          The bank to conduct such an auto pay debits to my credit card or
                          Otherwise. However at the same time even before the due date, i had
                          Paid the minimum due to the credit card. Thus there were two payments,
                          One made voluntarily by me before due date and second on due date by
                          Unauthorised auto debit. That on two of such occasions, i immediately
                          Contacted the customer service and told them that i have not
                          Authorized any auto debit and thus the bank reversed the said auto
                          Debit payments back to my account. However despite of informing the
                          Bank a couple of times, in the recent months since august 2015 auto
                          Debits have been conducted without any instructions or authorization
                          From me and since i have no credits in the savings account, the said
                          Auto debits have resulted in dishonourments and resultantly you have
                          Charged me for such dishonoured payments as well as other ancillary
                          Fees connected thereto. Besides the credit card is also being charged
                          Everal fees and charges for dishonored payments despite of no auto
                          Debit or auto pay instructions. These fines and ancillary fees have
                          Totalled to a large amount which i am not liable to pay in any
                          Circumstances as the same is result of an error from your end and not
                          Mine. As a matter of fact, i am being harassed by having to ask you
                          Time and again for cancelling such auto pay debits and still the
                          Ancillary fees and fines wrongly charged to me have never been
                          Reversed.
                          You are advised to rebate these fines, fees and penalty charged to me
                          On my savings account as well as my credit card as the same have been
                          A result o[censored]nauthorzed auto pay debits which were never sanctioned by
                          Me.Infact such an attempt on your part calls for intentional
                          Interference and deficient services, the attempt made by you to
                          Conduct unauthorized auto pay debits is in contravention to the
                          Agreement and to the customer - bank relationship policy and practices.


                          2 - statements -
                          To add to the above harassment, your bank has failed to sent me the
                          Monthly statements of the savings account as well as the credit crd
                          Statements. I had opted for the digital statements and hence expect
                          The statements to be sent to my registered email address, however i
                          Receive intimation of offers and schemes from your bank but never the
                          Tatements of my accounts. I have complaint of this issue with your
                          Customer desk several times and yet i have got no response from you
                          Not do i have been sent the statements.In the absence of my
                          Tatements, i have no idea as to how and where you have imposed
                          Charges or fines on me. Please note i have consciously checked all
                          Emails in my inbox as well spam and other folders but regretfully i
                          Have no email with statements from you. Despite of repeated requests,
                          Non fulfillment of this requirement is an error and shortcoming in
                          Ervices at your ends.

                          3 - collections -
                          That in the second quarter of this year, as there was no statement
                          From your end and unauthorized auto debits made from my account and
                          Unnecessary charges being imposed on me, my credit card bill minimum
                          Due requirement stood unpaid as your bank failed to co-operate with
                          Me. Please note prior to this my payments to the card have been
                          Regular and not a single month i have been in default. Thereafter some
                          Person claiming to be your representative approached me to pay the
                          Minimum due. He assured me that he would ensure that statements of my
                          Account are provided to me in my email however the same never happened
                          But he took from me an amount of rs. 2200/- towards collection. At the
                          Relevant time i informed the representative that the charges imposed
                          On me are wrong and i am willing to settle the account provided the
                          Bank deduct such charges and fines imposed on me wrongly by the bank.
                          The said representative told me that he would seek the proposal and
                          Inform me. However i got no proposal after that. Next month, again i
                          Got no statement from you and again you made an unauthorized auto pay
                          Debit to my savings account and after that you issued me a legal
                          Notice for dishonoring an ecs payment. Again some new person came to
                          Me and asked me to pay rs. 4000/- towards the minimum due stating that
                          He will get proposal but i will have to pay this minimum due. I placed
                          My trust on your representatives and waited for a proposal. However in
                          The mean time you have been conducting unauthorized auto debits,
                          Charging me wrongly and adding fine, fee and interest and penalty to
                          Me on both account arbitrarily. These payments are not legally payable
                          By me and these are a result of the error and foulplay of the
                          Collections team of the bank. You are advised to act immediately on
                          This.

                          4. Privacy of account holder:

                          Your representatives approach my family and are readily providing any
                          Body information of my accounts and dues without any authorization
                          From me, this is illegal practice as per the banking regulations.
                          Merely for the purpose of creating pressure on the account holder, who
                          By the way is willing to settle but your collection agents dont seem
                          To willing to do the same for reasons best known to them, are using
                          The name of the bank and harassing and threatening me and my family
                          Member including the women of my house. This harassment is illegal
                          Practice and banned by the rbi. Moreover, in a bid to extract
                          Collection and fulfill some internal target, these agents are sharing
                          My account data and details of my transactions and such other details
                          With any body they meet at my doorstop without authorization from me.
                          Where as you claim to protect data and privacy of an account holder
                          From any person and this is a breach at your instance.


                          Your agents/advisors/managers have no respect while speaking and do
                          Not understand simple questions.
                          I have had agents visiting my residence and speaking to my
                          Father/mother/sister in an inappropriate language questioning my
                          Tatus and ability to pay or take a credit card. The tone of voice
                          Used and the choice of words is unacceptable especially when used for
                          Women which in turn is harrassment.
                          Please note and be advised that your agents have no authority to speak
                          To any one in filthy and untoward language and you are vicariously
                          Responsible for such harassment and verbal abuse. If these persons use
                          Your name and identity cards issued by your bank, it is your implied
                          Duty to ensure that these representatives are well mannered and stay
                          In bounds. They have no right or locus to question my capability of
                          Holding a credit card or using the same as i please. If the same
                          Continues, i will be constrained to lodge a police complaint against
                          Uch representatives as well as impleading you therein for allowing
                          Uch illegal practices. I will also be constrained to write to the
                          R. B. I. With respect to you employing people who practice against
                          Banking practices.

                          I on many instances have asked your agents who visit me for payments
                          To obtain and provide me with a proposal for the settlement however
                          None of them have ever got back to me but they always want to insist
                          On collection minimum due. Due to their inaction, i do not stand to
                          Bear the burden of their delay. As such your charges and fines have
                          Been adding on since last few months despite of my request to you
                          Representatives for settlement.

                          I received a call from (+[protected] dt. 11/06/2015 somewhere
                          Around noon from your collection team and the person i spoke too had
                          Terrible attitude and a horrible manner of speech. He has disrespected
                          Me for which i am going to take legal action. Your agent insisted on
                          Me giving the phone to whoever was talking in the background and when
                          I handed over the call to my sister, he spoke to her with complete
                          Disrespect and questioned that if he has no ability to pay then why
                          Did he use the card. Let me tell you, if i had the slightest idea of
                          The kind of complete disregard your bank holds fro a customer and the
                          Way you are quick to adopt of illegal practices against your customer
                          And the fact that for few thousand of collections, your agents will
                          Give data of the customer to any body, i would have refrained from
                          Obtaining your card or account. Your agent has complete disregard for
                          Manners, language and decency and i believe the same is as you have
                          Authorized them to talk as they like.

                          Infact, the illegal practice followed by your bank is very strategic;
                          You do not issue me statements, thus i cannot verify your charges,
                          Then you make unauthorized auto debit and then issue notices; then you
                          Appoint indecent and antisocial element like person to make
                          Collections who fake amounts due where as you via your customer desk
                          Inform me that the total due is much lesser than as claimed by the
                          Agent. Your agent claims i have a total due of rs. 69, 800/- whereas
                          Your own customer desk informed me that the amount due is rs. 66, 000/-
                          You are requested to explain to me what is this difference suggests?
                          It seems you let agents make up imaginary amounts to extort from
                          Customers.

                          In addition to my above said grievances, which i seek immediate
                          Response and redressal, i further inform you officially that i am
                          Willing to proceed for a settlement with your bank as i do not wish to
                          Hold this account or credit card any longer and thus you are requested
                          To provide me with a proposal for the same via email or official
                          Communication through a representative. You are also requested to send
                          Me statements of both my savings account and my credit card at the
                          Earliest to help ascertain the charges levied by you.

                          Please note that i will not communicate with any one who claims to be
                          Third party collection agent or any person who does not have the basic
                          Decency to talk and communicate.

                          That despite my efforts, your customer helpline could not provide me
                          With email addresses of the other departments who may be concerned
                          With my grievances enlisted above, thus you are requested to kindly do
                          The needful in communicating my grievances to any additional
                          Departmemt or concerned persons who may be well equipped to address my
                          Grievance.


                          Post this email, i get a rather hilarious response from the customerservices. [protected]@hdfcbank.com asking me to just simply make a payment towards my credit card and nothing else, no empathy, no call or no explanation at all which is pathetic customer service.

                            I have a saving account in HDFC bank. Due to some personal reasons i was unable to maintain the minimum balance. As a result they deducted almost Rs 700 per month from my account. Instead of giving the interest on whatever is the balance on my account, the bank is taking public money. This is very unreasonable when many people cannot afford to keep a minimum balance of 10000 every month.

                              Hello Team,

                              I have applied for personal loan almost a month back. Initially, the verification process was delayed due to leniency from Sunita from HDFC Sales Team. After never-ending delay, the loan was approved on Monday - 30th May 2016 12:35 PM. However, so far I did not hear anything about Interest rate or file charges.

                              When I called customer service, the lady called Priyanka was narrating stories than referring to my concerns when I said I will decline suddenly she was active and said, I am processing the cancellation of Loan. I think she is only trained to cancel loan request and not to answer/resolve customer queries. Finally, a supervisor gave me Navneet Rai's phone number ( [protected]) and when called, Navneet was travelling and asked to call back after 30 mnts and later he did not pick calls.

                              When I have written an email to customer care, they asked me to provide end number of details which could have been tracked using the loan account number and further, I have written email from my HDFC net banking Id.

                              Today, I have received a message that complain has been registered and the bank will get back to me in 5 working days. The complain number shared is DELR[protected].

                              My concern is if the loan is approved why there is no call for interest rate discussion and why I am not getting the loan amount in my account. I was not at all informed about the delay.

                                I applied for HDFC credit card but during its processing, I got an SMS stating that email ID linked to my Credit card is "(another person's email ID)".
                                But when I called up the sales person, he asked me that he will ask his seniors and get it rectified.
                                But it has been 3 days I have not received any response.
                                Even the sales person is not picking up my phone calls.

                                I am afraid that some one else will use my credit card as details will be emailed to that wrong email ID and I will be in big trouble.

                                  I had booked a ticket from jammu to srinagar on 23rd may 2016.

                                  The booking status was shown to be pending and later i was told that the booking failed and the amount would be refunded to me withing 7 working days.

                                  Since then i have called their customer support 'n' number of times. Each time i got only one response that the refund is under process and it will be done withing 7 working days. But the refund never came and today it's 13th june 2016 !

                                  To check, i dropped a mail to [protected]@smartbuyoffers.Co and [protected]@goibibo.com. I got a response from goibibo, they said that the refund has already been processed on 26th may 2016, 3 days after the booking failure with the reference number gofldapi71bd[protected] !!!

                                  Seems like somehow my money vanished into thin air between goibio to hdfc smart buy. I have used goibio a lot of times. Never had any issue with them regarding refunds. I can vouch for them. So the culprit has to be hdfc smart buy.

                                  Not sure whether i will get my money back or not, but i am not going to recommend hdfc smart but to anyone.

                                  Finally issue is resolved and I got my money back. But overall it was a very bad experience dealing with HDFC Bank Smart Buy due to poor customer support provided. Might have to thing a 100 time before dealing with them again.

                                    I am Sunil Mani, an account holder with HDFC Bank with Saving Bank account no. [protected].
                                    It is to inform you that I have been observing in my bank statement that whenever I get my card swiped in Petrol Pumps, a fuel surcharge gets deducted from my account.
                                    Last time it was on 22nd May, 2016 when I used my card to make a payment of Rs. 100, a fuel surcharge of Rs. 11.45 got deducted from my account on 24th May, 2016.
                                    Once again I used my card to make a payment of Rs. 100 at Bharat Petroleum on 8th June, 2016 and a fuel surcharge of Rs. 11.50 got deducted from account on 9th June, 2016.
                                    This is totally unacceptable. How can you deduct money from my account without my permission. I want an early resolution to this problem, or else I'll have to take a strict action against your bank.
                                    I am also attaching the images as a proof of those illegal deductions.
                                    I hope you refund back my money on time.

                                    I am Tanya, an account holder with HDFC Bank .
                                    It is to inform you that I have been observing in my bank statement that whenever I get my card swiped in Petrol Pumps, a fuel surcharge gets deducted from my account.

                                      I have been commited in written for amount to receive as surrender value with two employees.Firstly HDFC Bank as sourced by them & told to visit HDFC LIFe to surrender dociment.There also I was given same amount as market was 480 points up.I went previously to surrender this policy in Dec'15 where they sold me one more policty by suggesting to wait till market is up.

                                      But once final amount reveived it was 10, 000/- difference & written statement shared with regret message no impact on NAV after market was up after four month on highest level.

                                      I have rasied issue to Mr.Aditya Puri MD of HDFC & Jitendra Chaudhary CEO of HDFC Life but no proper response.Mr.Ravi assigened issue from HDFC BAnk & MAry Gomes from HDFC Life but never contacted me.Nidhi some executive contated me where in given TAT not reverted me on evidience shared by me to them. I told not to call me on some spcefic dates as was traveling but shamelessly they contacted me & closed case on that discussion. I requested to arrange call with MAry Gomes but never reverted with fix dates lastly I requested for 12th June to dicsuss issue.

                                      I demand my Rs.7500/- refund charged as management fees where they where not able to meet commitment as disclosed & shared with me.

                                      Please support to raise my issue to arrange my refund of 7500/- from them & reason for delay.
