I am HDFC customer since 2006 (Prefferd NRI). I had applied for home loan which I had cancelled because o[censored]nprofessional behaviour of HDFC staff. It is almost three weeks that i had requested HDFC bacnk to return my money as well as file back. But as usual no reply. So i want to complain about Swatantra Priya Singh (Deputy Manager - Mortgages HDFC SALES PVT. LTD.Gurgaon) and Monika Popli (Credit Officer) to whom I and my family tried a lot to contact. These people don't even bother to reply to customers. Even i had raised a complaint in HDFC portal. But no reply. Beware of this bank I would say. Bank staff don't even bother about their customers. They are more interested in their commisions that they can get after making people fool Kunal

          Subject - Reversal of Charges Following points - 1. Have been trying to change my address by calling the call center number many times with no effect. The result being I skip the payment on time and unnecessary penalties and service charges keep getting added in the next statement. 2. Deliberately time consuming 'IVRS' for Credit card queries - I have spent atleast 15 min's every time to get to the person to talk for Credit card queries. You IVRS option doesn't account for every possible problem and I guess it is deliberately kept that long to force people give up.- That way the charges get augmented every month 3. No RESPONSE to mails sent to customerservices.[protected]@hdfcbank.com. Your Custome Care executive insists response to come within 24 hours. Yet I don't see any response 4. HDFC doesn't communicate the reasons for cheque not submitted for clearance even after me calling the customer centre to figure out the status. Subject - Reversal of Charges Following points - 1. Address not changed despite several calls 2. The idea is to force people give up following them. 3. No RESPONSE to mails sent to customerservices.[protected]@hdfcbank.com. Your Custome Care executive insists response to come within 24 hours. There is no acknowledgement given for the cheque submitted for credit card statement. If the cheque doesn't clear (because of any technical reason), HDFC neither bothers to inform about 1. Cheque not cleared 2. Reasons for above It is left to the hapless individual to follow up to even know whether the payment made by him has indeed being cleared. 5. Even personal visits to bank branches doesn't help - There is no dedicated credit card counter. All every one seems to say is talk to them over the phone. 6. Was told by the customer executive over the phone that the process to stop the credit card to is drop an application for the same in a HDFC ATM drop box. I did the same weeks back. So far I haven't got any acknowledgement on the same or any reasons why my application can be proceeded with or not. Outcome of above - Late Charge Penalties keep getting augmented and the hapless customer has to pay. Are their processes for other banking aspects - applying for loans, accounts, etc that unresponsive? What I desire - Stop the Credit Card (with my penalties getting reversed if [possible) Thanks, Jatin Sutaria

            I have a account with HDFC which was salary account before, but now my employer is changed and they do not have option for HDFC to choose as salary account so i chooses another bank as my salary account. Now HDFC have policy to maintain 10000 rs on the account and since i am not able to maintain min balance of rs 10000 in HDFC, I want to close my account because every month around 500 rs are getting deducted from my account, but I have FD in this account which was opened for tax saving, so I went to nearest bank branch in my area and asked them to close my account and provide me the certificate for FD but they are saying that this cannot be closed since I have opened FD in this account. I am really disappointed from this, and i feel like i have done a bigger mistake by choosing HDFC account anf then opening FD with this bank.

I am really confused after seeing this, At the time of issuing the card HDFC people said me that card was free of cost with no annual fee and it will be waived off. if I use more than 30k. even though u charged

                  I already see a lot of complaints on this subject against the bank. But the bank is still charging unnecessary amount. On 16.12.2015 i have been charged with Rs 572.50 against INTER-BRN CASH CHG. My account number is [protected]. Can any action be taken against the bank for such withdrawal without notice or being informed.

                    Hi, My credit card number is [protected]. The HDFC credit card section had sent me an DD/Cheque of RS 40000 which I had discarded as had not applied for any Insta loan. But the bank is claiming the Insta loan EMI from this month. Am trying to reach the customer care for exactly 8 times, they literally didn't respond, each call of mine would auto disconnect after 15 mins. Kindly suggest me. I wana lodge a legal complaint on this

                      Since 2 years I am not using credit card and account is also closed but still they are charging for credit card.The card was sent to Chennai for discontinuation of Credit card along with the application but still they are asking to pay the annual fee which itself is not acceptable. For this reason, other bank is not issuing the new credit card. Pathetic customer service. tried calling customer care but no one is providing the solution and visited the home branch still no solution. customer is seeking support but no one is there to give solution.                         When I was trying to buy a product online by using HDFC Bank credit card, the error was shown that This card is not supported in India. when I talked to customer care of Bank, they have advised me that, while purchasing, I can select "Cash on Delivery" option, and when the courier boy come to deliver me the product, I can swipe my credit card in swipe machine and convert my payment into EMIs. Now, when I am standing at the point of receiving the product, the Bank is telling me that that option of converison is not available to me and I am not eligible for that benefit. Please do help me as I will not be able to make the full payment in cash for credit card and cant wait for availment of that offer to me.

                          Good Day ! Cust ID :[protected] AC.No : [protected] - Loan Account No: 3694105 I would like to share my very worst experience which I had with HDFC BAnk loan department. On 25 November I got the 10 seconds personal loan for 448000/- (Loan No: 3694105) and it has been credited same day. I have utilized Rs.90, 000 and I kept the balance Rs.3, 50, 000 in my account for further commitment. Yesterday afternoon I checked my account around 4 PM it is showing Zero balance and my account balance amount Rs.3, 50, 000 kept on Hold by your stupid Loan Department without any prior intimation to me. After that I Called you useless customer care team and they are not able to tell what happened to my account simply they replied, ’ you go and contact your Home Branch. After taht I went to my Home Branch Saligramam chennai, and I met another your useless cutomercare executive Ms.Sofia Balin, she replied me, “ Please contact Phone banking or directly you go to Personal Loan department in T.Nagar. From there I went to Personal Loan department and I met another your useless staff Ms.Pavithra Balan[protected] and simply replied “ You are not eligible for this 10 second loan and our team wrongly processed and disbursed the amount so we kept on Hold your account balance also she asked me to pay the Rs.90, 000 to close this loan” For her statement, I was totally upset If I am not eligible means how they processed and credited the amount on 25th November and after 15 days suddenly they wakeup and hold my account balance without any prior Notification. It looks very idiotic and stupid things and shows the poor systems of HDFC Loan process team. ONCE LOAN WAS DISBURSED, IT IS MY MONEY, HOW THEY ILLEGALY ACCESS MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT MY PERMISSION?? IT IS UNFAIR AND UNETHICAL.. I am in very critical position and I made lot of commitment for this loan amount.. Hope you will understand my situation and do the needful .. D.GOVINDARAJAN [protected]

                            I applied a personal loan from HDFC bank through a DSA, soon after applying my application got rejected because of the reason of loan, as I mentioned I need to buy a property. After some days I got a call from Mr Lovely from RIC Dept. Sector 53 Gurgaon branch about some fake document I provided, he told me to meet him in person after banking hours. Here point is that I never given any Document to HDFC I handed over my docs to DSA and I dont know what happened between them, and I never provided any fake/false document. Again I got a call from Ajit Singh from same branch on bank holiday second saturday stating that he is in branch and lets meet after banking hours, he mentioned one more name of Mr. Manjeet. They all are harassing me and asking to meet otherwise they will screw my CIBIL. When my Loan application is rejected in very initial phase and I am not owning any product of HDFC, then how can they do so. Please assist me on this!

                              I'm Sudheer from Bangalore and I ordered a Provogue watch as part of an HDFC mobile banking offer. I have Ordered watch seeing add from [protected]@hdfcbank.net and order status showing delivered but I haven't received any item. When I tried to contact their customer care phone numbers, no one attends the call. There is no reply for the numerous emails I sent. No reply on the posts on their FB page. No reply for the tweets. Highly pathetic customer service. HDFC should also take responsibility for partnering with such fake vendors and cheating their own customers. I can see HDFC Bank has to take the responsibility and need to get out of this kind of partners. I saw similar posts on Provogue FB page and I feel that Provogue.com is cheating online buyers on a large scale. High time this scam is stopped. My Order order no[protected] and amount deducted from HDFC Bank account so HDFC bank has to solve this issue.

                                  There were wrong debits of the annual maintenance charges on my account cust id:[protected]salary account), last month they took around two weeks time and it got reversed after several complaints now after furnishing all the details or docs required by the bank, and also was given time adherence of 15 days for the resolution to be fixed, being unaware of the backend work which went within the bank, now it seems the backend work is not yet fixed, because i have been charged with the unnecessary debit from my account again, and when i follow up i get time limits and cutoff times every now and then being extended again again.

                                    Its a shame to call myself a Priority Banking consumer of HDFC. My name is [censored]ij and I had placed a call with HDFC customer care number[protected] on 7th Dec 2015, requesting for understanding why I wasnt able to do an NEFT transfer. Whilst the issue got resolved on the call, the customer care rep mentioned that I should apply for a new Debit card which would come to be without any additional charge and I confirmed my request. Biggest mistake I made in the hindsight. My request reference number is BANR[protected]. I got an SMS 3 days after (10th Dec 2015) mentioning my new OTP but shockingly the card has still not been delivered!!! Despite of me being a priority banking consumer, their stupid inefficiency has led to my current debit card being blocked and no ones willing to tell me whats the status of the new debit card. Horrifying experience. If ICICI or other banks are taking note of this complaint - please contact me, I am looking for a new bank. I am done with HDFC.

                                      Hi, I was holding one salary account with HDFC bank. Currently I am using salary account with another bank. So I don't want to use the account and want to close it. I have visited the HDFC branch repeatedly and submitted the form. As per their instructions, I have submitted an application to de-link my credit card from the account. Everything is done and it is almost 2 months when Me and My wife have visited the branch almost minimum 15 times. Still the account is not closed and it is pending. Please close this Account

                                        Hi, I have HDFC Saving account in chennai. same account assigned to my Sharkhan Trading account. some time I transfered my saving account to Trading account. For every time they are Debiting 100/-'s of Rupees as Depository charges Many time I contacted to customer care. They are replaying. I got very very bad experience with HDFC Bank. With in 1 month I am going to close my HDFC Saving account. My best suggestion is before u want open saving account in HDFC you just check Reviews in internet. I hope this review is helpfull.
