    I too had trust on HDFC Bank but lost fully due to below issue in chronical order My regular card was getting expired and phone banking girl asked New platinum card is being issued as i am a preferred customer later they deducted Money for that card, when i asked they said that card is chargeble On 12th of November 2015 i went a ATM opp Ayyappa temple Bhosari ATM Computer of the ATM took blue dump crashed and not received the money called up from the same spot and talked to Phone banking Girl at 9.00 am She told money will be reversed and card to be collected from branch, preffered location to collect the card was told Pimpri Branch on Kamala cross from 16th Nove till 30 November went to bank and asked for the card they said not received, since they got fed up they said you will receive the SMS, THEN COME TO COLLECT I went to branch on 4th December and explained everything to manager, he told i can give new card on your request as replacement but i have to pay for it Then i said i don't want to pay anything and i want the card (For which i paid) and it is because of ATM got stucjked in the machine, he agreed and asked write and give the same I had given Then i wrote to a mail to bank form online portal First person replayed saying please elaborate then i explained and the latest mail received from them is there is no card in my name yesterday i called up to phone banking, after long time got connected to a phone banker explained everything as above she agreed and told she will connect to card replacement department they will take details and send my card when the gentlemen who was on the phone said i have to make payment for the new card when i asked why and explained him above matter his answer is " we don't have any records of 12th November 2015 then he told he will transfer the call to other person and hanged off I never expected the following 1 without knowledge of the customer selling there products (Platinum card) 2. when i complained on my card lost in the ATM and same was accepted by the phoe banker and reversed the money within hour but bank has no records related with card 3. saying i am preferred customer and not attending the matter of not having debit card for which oi paid (where as i doesn't pay to any other banks for card) If any HDFC TEAM IS LOOKING INTO IT PLEASE DO ADRESS THIS Jagadish Aiholli [protected]

        My parents Nalini Dutta (account # XXXXXXXXXX5032) and Anand Dutta (Bank account # XXXXXXXXXX6512), are both senior citizen and, have been constantly troubled by HDFC’s staffs’ behavior. There has been a major non-compliance with the bank’s policy corresponding to sensitive information provided by the account holder. Issue related to Nalini Dutta’s account: • My mother’s saving account # XXXXXXXXXX5032, had a balance of Re 57, 430.48 as on 25/8/2015. • On 16th Feb 2015, my mother had a fixed deposit worth Re. 300, 000/- at an interest rate of 9.25% p.a. (Deposit # [protected], [protected], [protected]) and she had NEVER activated the Sweep in feature on any of her fixed deposits. • However, on 25/08/2015 HDFC bank applied the Sweep-in feature on all these FDs (without any customer authorization or any intimation considering the amount) towards a cheque payment of Re 300, 000/-. Impact of the unauthorized Sweep-in transaction by the bank • Fixed deposit amount reduced to Re 57, 430/- as all the funds were paid towards the check payment of Re 300, 000 without my mother’s authorization leading to a significant loss of interest on the account. • While the Interest paid on Re 242, 570/- was initially 9.25%, due to Sweep in interest was reduced to 7.51% (as told by HDFC bank’s representative and shown in the statement). The problem we are facing is that even though this Interest (@ 7.51% for Sweep in) reflects in the statement, it has neither been added to Savings accounts nor to the left over Fixed deposit balance of Re 57, 430/-. • There have been unauthorized transactions on my account, non-compliance with bank and client agreement and thus, failure of meeting the service standards. Further, the staff has been rude and misbehaving and not making effort to resolve the same. Issue related to Anand Dutta’s account: • My father has saving account # XXXXXXXXXX6512 and his fixed deposit # [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected] for a total amount Re 310, 020 matured in the month of August 2015. • While my father had submitted the Form 15 H wherein the TDS was not supposed to be deducted by the bank, but the same was deducted (Rs. 1280). • This is not the 1st instance when TDS has been deducted even after submitting Form 15 H, at the time of Fixed Deposit creation. This happened even last year wherein a tax of Re 1042 was deducted. • My concern in this context is the repeated occurrence of the TDS deduction every year and then your staff denies the fact that Form was submitted. The bank is supposed to constantly update the client information. I had been trying to contact the bank Branch head and the MD to resolve the aforesaid issues but, till now they haven’t taken the matter seriously. Below has been a summary of my efforts in this matter so far. • Escalation to Branch Manager on 9/22 and 9/29 - I emailed (from my registered email ID) to Branch Manager- Kapil Monga on 22/9/2015, after my parents were called several times to East of Kailash Office after the issue and there were instances of misbehavior. Branch Manager never responded to my email. In conversation with my parents, he did admit that my parents did not opt for Sweep-in and there was an error at Bank’s end which they cannot fix now. He confirmed that he had checked the initial FD form and the sweep in was never opted. • Escalation to Grievance Redressal Team on 10/23 - As per the process mentioned on HDFC website, I escalated the issue to Grievance Redressal Team. They denied all three issues without proper investigation. • Escalation to Principle Nodal Officer - I received no response to my email. • Escalation to MD Office - Post investigation, MD office acknowledged issue# 2 (Related to TDS) and admitted their mistake. MD office still doesn’t admit their mistake related to issue#1 (Unauthorized Sweep in) but urges me to meet the Branch Manager for calculation of interest loss. o In my meeting, Kapil Monga admitted that Ankita (a bank staff) had made the changes in the form without our consent. I have a recorded conversation of the same. o He further fail to offer any resolution stating that now that the changes have been made by the bank staff in the form which were earlier signed, nothing can be done o I further wrote back to MD office raising questions on the overall approach of the bank but they did not respond any of those emails. o I further requested to meet a senior representative, but so far no one has reached out except for the Branch Manager, who is now continuously pressurizing us, by using tactics like scheduling meetings on Bank Holidays with his senior and not turning up, to close the matter. o Post this incident, we have requested the Bank to present us with the initial FD Forms for all current FD’s and those where the sweep in had occurred and Form 15 H. Bank has taken no action on the same.

Still next month on wards I am getting statement with penalties and adding every month and now its near to 3000 rupees. Because of misleading banking system I became a victim and it shows me as a defaulter. Please advice me a solution. Thanks RAmesh

              My salary account with customer id 39857533 which has been automatically converted into a savings account has not been operated since a long time. I wanted to close the account as I don't need it anymore.so I visited the base branch at gopalpur rajarhat and filled up the closure form and submitted to the bank manager.but the account is still not closed.I have received an SMS that some charges are imposed due to non maintenance of minimum average balance.

                I had send 2 mails in National Consumer helpline but my problem still not resolve all the details of mail is given below, i wish you will solve it as early as possible I m applying loan balance transfer from GIC to HDFC Ltd. 1) As per the Bank instruction i will give all the document step by step and processing fee Cheque to bank executive Indresh Nishad. 2) after few days(10-15 days) i called the banker Mis Priya and ask about my status but there is no reply for 2 days. 3) after a 2 days one of miss Archana called me and clear her quries and then after also process will stop. 4)Afetr few days i called the banker then the executive send me a massege for further documet. 5) After i collect the documnt i will give them and ask about time to sancation they told me will inform you. 6) Then after 2 days called me and ask me about builder NOC at the time he told me same i ask them if you any think want then told me at this time after word i will naver give you anything at that time Mr. Ravishankar Mishar Manager told me its ok its a last document(ie suddnly want them urgently) and told me sir you pls get it urgently you will get the cheque for same day(because of month end for his target achieve). 7) In morning 30th November 2015 i collect it from my builder office and gave them but they told me Sir its too much late today. 8) on 2nd Dec they told me Sir want CC i.e. not in agreement i told him if i m gave you document 15 days before you cant saw the documnet now you told me at last that you will having another documnet. now today is 3rd Dec and my previus bank ECS date is 5th Dec. First the Priya talk me abt the processing fee waviur then after few days she mssage me that waviur is not for self employed, i will told them my loan is joint loan my father and me. My father is Govt. Servent and i m self employed, my father is first applicant, but the Ravishankar told me that you are qualify as a Self employed hence the waviur is not possible. Now I will also talk with my lawyer for the same because your company harase me and its final to launch a complaint against your HDFC ltd. and will send you a copy for the same. [protected] hi team, Right now the same you are going the one document come once again at the last moment, i.e. 7.Consent letter from sibling in HDFC format. No baody had told me abt this and nor having any format like this, when i called the mulund branch then your executive told me about the same and told me if i cant give the complete format i cant recieve cheque. Its realy too much harasment from your end and now onward i dont have submit any document from my end cause i had already given you too much documents for the same.                   My friend deposited a sum of 1000rs to my HDFC account from an HDFC bank, on Dec 1st 2015, and on 9th of the same month, 114 rs was deducted from my account saying this as an 3rd party transfer. When we deposit money in the account from the same bank, how can it be 3rd party transfer ?? (3RD PARTY CASH TXN INC ST & EC 011215) If i get deducted 114 for every 1000rs i deposit the why should i say it as a savings account ??                     I am hdfc bank customer, at 8 december some one access my account from icici bank atm and withdraw money without pin and debit card, i have log the complaint but hdfc bank doing nothing. even i coordinate with icici bank they are saying if hdfc will create a request for documentation in that case they will give full support.

                    I dont know hdfc bank is doing what. please take an action for that matter matter.

                      I am the owner of a Renault Duster RXE - Vehicle number : DL8CZ 7013 I had applied for a claim at the Okhla Service Center : Claim Policy Number C[protected]. A cement truck dropping off pebbles on the road, one pebble had landed on my windshield, which i later saw had cracked.( First the crack was small, then it spread in 3 days). I had braked and let the truck pass as the lights turned red. Same instance a white sedan was trying to take a U-turn, hit my parked car's entire left side and drove away. The same issue was reported while trying to claim. At first the agents refused to give my windshield claim, saying both things couldn't have happened . Then my Renault service agent called to inform me that the front fender and the doors were approved. On that call i didn't realize that they had refused to add my back bumper to the claim. So i called the senior agent to approve my windshield since it was the same accident and anything can happen. Accidents don't just happen the way we think can happen. Meanwhile the agents informed me that i can get my windshield replaced on a 2nd claim. What they still didn't tell me was that the value of the car will drop down with each claim. When i went to pick up my car, i saw that the back bumper was not repaired. And the car doors were just painted and the dents removed. On asking the agent he informed me that the claim was refused for the back bumper and the doors and front were approved for claim. When I called the concerned representative he kept insisting that the back bumper was an old accident and that it was rusted. The part HDFC ergo refused claim on was not rusted. My car is washed each day and there is a Neem Tree under which my car is parked. The dent was allowing water to settle and needed to be scrubbed clean each day. If there is at all any sign of rust, its because I was unable to drain out all water, for 5 days before the car was sent for claim inspection. What i want to know is how is half the story accepted and the other half neglected? I was the one in the accident and with the car. I should know how it was damaged. How can someone on mere look tell me one dent is from present accident and the other is from a previous accident? If for one instance i take it by the agents word, then its simply not possible that the back door wont have taken any damage when the area right adjacent to is hammered in! And if any one applies even the basis sense, a small part like that cannot possibly have taken a hit without impacting the side, back or the door, which too were damaged in the same accident. I cannot accept the fact that HDFC ergo would give half the claim and start making up their own stories, based on their own conclusions. Because in that case they shouldn't even bother to ask the customer what happened if they are so easily able to tell the cause and process of the accident ! I have one request. Either give me my entire claim or NO claim at all. I want my zero debt back, as if the insurance company wishes to remake the same damages they can. Because i refused to be tricked into saying yes to big car body part words. On phone they accept me to understand what was approved. what wasn't approved. What part of the story they will accept and what part they will force false so that they don't have to pay up. Ladies are not in all parts of the cars, but they do understand when they are trying to be made a fool. The entire accident happened as was told. No lies. I refuse to be forced into half a story simply because your insurance company thinks otherwise. Please resolve this issue.

                      HI Thank you for approving my Claim. I got a call requesting proper explanation of the claim. On call once the exact order was described, on another call, the proper resolution was given. Apparently there was a mix in understanding the situation of the accident. HDFC ergo also informed me that they have a multiple claim policy and that the value of the car wont be reduced other than the yearly depreciation value of the car. Thank you For approval of my Windshield and my Quarter Panel of Renault Duster. I shall resolve my consumer complain hence. Thanks Rusha

                      I believe this can happen. My car was damaged the same way. while i was parked. Same place was hit and similar damage.
                      It does create a pocket of water.
                      It makes sense to get all claims.
                      Two claims should not have to be the process. One claim should cover it.
                      Two claims reduce car value for no reason.
                      In this case getting outside repair is cheaper and easier.
                      If the door is not replaced, just denting painting is not expensive.
                      Not worth getting a claim, with price of car reduced.
                      I have worked in Car Insurance before and I know the problems mentioned above. This incident was informed to me I had suggested to take a different insurance instead of HDFC Ergo.
                      Hdfc always has claim problems. I had told that the entire claim wont be given and I see above it was not given. Shame on companies cheating customers on small money and repair when they give Zero debt insurance.
                      Price of car is reduced with each claim, thats why they suggested another claim on front wind shield.
                      People dont know about their claim damages. Even price increases of insurance amount after claim.
                      Not inform what you give, always inform what you dont give. That is never the policy.
                      Cheating regular people who are not aware and are taking first time claim.
                      I think this can be replaced as the entire car is covered under insurance, while taking the insurance they will tell the sweet words and make us buy the insurance. HDFC ERGO General Insurance has to pay for the entire back bumper, as the dent started from there and ended up at the front door, when they are changing the side door's I did not see any logic for not changing the back bumper, it seems like the impact was in the same spot as in the picture.
                      Do not give up until you get your complete insurance. They are trying to escape as the back bumper costs more for them, do not leave them until you get the full claim.
                      I was informed about the accident immediately after it happened. There is not a single word of lie in the above story. She was afraid her back tire would be affected and needed a wheel balancing right after the accident because of the dent in the picture. I had assured her that the claim will be on the entire left side, because I had spoken to the HDFC agent who sold me the policy and he had informed me that now companies give only one side and not all sides as before. This claim should be approved.
                      HDFC Ergo is a sham and all they do is cheat their customers. They are trying to fool you into lowering your car value and increasing your insurance premium amount. Don't fall for their trick. Your story makes sense. Accidents can happen at anytime, anyway. No written rules on how an accident can happen. They are forcing you to bend so that they dont have to pay for the huge amount. This part cannot be fixed and needs to be replaced. They are trying to save money so they are giving parts that are low cost and easy repairs. Keep up the fight!
                      I know this user personally. She had come in work and described the same incident. I only told her to get a claim asap because insurance now give only one side in claim and not on old claim. Thats why she took half day leave and gone to give car for repair. She also told that windsheild not approved, but left side approved. This is wrong of Insurance company. Selling lies and trying to cheat ladies because they dont understand words like fendor and bumper.

                            I had received a cheque # 043245(ORIENTAL BANK OF COMMERCE) from Srinilayam chit fund hyderabd which was deposited in a HDFC ATM Drop box gaddiannaram branch (this atm is beside HDFC BANK ) on saturday[protected] between 11 am to 1 pm.                                   Hi, I'm having one personal loan, two wheeler loan, credit card and a salary account in HDFC Bank. 9 months back, I submitted pl application to hdfc and rejected due to RS.35 unknown outstanding of my two wheeler loan. Again I submitted a pl request after 3 months and this time bank rejected loan by blaming my tracker of my personal loan. I used to pay all the emis correctly. But, still bank giving disappointment. They told me to apply again on December 2015 and I applied this month again ( proposal number :[protected], this time bank rejected by telling unsatisfactory norms or something like that. I have some outstanding in my creditcard, I need to settle it immediately. And my existing loan interest rate is high, and need to reduce by 5.75% with a new loan. I'm doubting HDFC is blocking my loan to suppress these settlement. Please give immediate solution, else I may have to change my salary account to some other bank and avail loans from them. If I'm moving out for another bank, I can avoid all the products from HDFC.                                       Complaint Number on HDFC: BALC[protected] My mobile number is not updated even after 15 days of account creation. Without Mobile number associated to the account, i'm unable to receive OTP for funds transfer or even can't add accounts. So i raised a complaint regarding this High Priority and later when i'm asking for the update they are simply hanging up the phone on me and it happened TWICE. I even entered clearly in the account opening form, but why they are taking so much time wasting my time and upsetting me. This is truly and very unethical behavior, asking details is a CRIME?
