Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to inform you that my current income is dependent on my father's Income Only, He is a Hand Loom Weaver is not enough for me to be able to make any payments towards my alleged debt at this time. I am writing to explain my last missed payment, and also to request some leniency in regards to my outstanding payments.
I have just lost my job, and have no income coming in. When I purchased my house and took on this loan, I had over 30, 000 INR coming in every month, and paying my bills was not an issue. But, in my current situation, I have no money coming in, and making payments is becoming difficult for me.I am writing this letter to inform you that I am temporarily out of work, which has caused serious financial difficulty for my family. I have workers’ compensation as well as unemployment in this Covid time, but these are just enough to pay my mortgage and feed my family. Because of my hardship. I expect to be back to work and receiving my full salary by that time. If I am able to work sooner, I will inform you and return to making the usual payments.
I prefer to deal with you directly and not a collection agency. I fully intend to pay my debts, but I need a bit more time. I also request that you withhold any interest on my debt.
If at any time I am in a position to resume payments on the alleged debt, I will contact you immediately to make appropriate arrangements. I thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time. This communication is provided solely for the purposes of notifying you to communicate in writing only and does not constitute an acknowledgment of the alleged debt described above.I am requesting a reconsolidation of my debt so I will have an easier time paying it off. Please contact me with an alternate plan if we can work something out.
Please send a response to this letter in writing at the address above. I can also be reached at +91 [protected] and at [protected]@email.com. Thank you for taking the time to consider my request, and I hope to have a favorable reply
