Yesterday night around 1AM there was an unauthorized transaction made on my credit card ending 4878. SMS I received was "ALERT:Rs.329.00 spent via CREDIT Card xx4878 at AMAZON1258399 on[protected]:01:12:27 without PIN/OTP.". Card was with me, and I have checked all the amazon accounts where this card was linked, but there were no transactions made, even though it says "AMAZON1258399".
Amazon gets my OTP for a transaction even less than Rs.100, but this transaction didn't get the OTP. This is surely a fraud unauthorized transaction. Looking for proper resolution to my complaint.

Complaint marked as Resolved I'm sorry. I found the reason why & how it happened. I used my card for subscribing Amazon prime for my friend's account. But it was set (somehow) as auto-renewal, so it took amount on my card automatically.
Even my friend didn't know this auto-renewal happened, he just got message regarding this and then he informed me.
HDFC Bank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
