    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I am writing to raise a formal complaint regarding the unjust closure of my HDFC credit card (ending in 3794) due to a pending amount of ₹5 (Five Rupees Only).

    Despite my consistent and timely EMI and credit card payments over the years, a small pending amount of ₹5 remained after EMI closure. I have attempted multiple times to clear this due amount, but your system does not accept payments below ₹10. Due to this system limitation, I was unable to clear the balance, despite my intention and effort.

    I was not informed via call, SMS, or email that the card would be blocked or closed. I only discovered the issue four days later, when an online transaction failed and I contacted customer care — only to be informed that the card was closed due to the ₹5 dues.

    This action feels harsh and unfair, especially given my strong credit history and intent to pay. I respectfully request the following:

    Please provide a way to clear the ₹5 pending amount.

    Please ensure that my CIBIL score is not impacted by this minor technical issue.

    If any negative report has already been sent to the credit bureau, please take action to correct it.

    I would appreciate your immediate attention to this issue and a confirmation once it has been resolved.

        I took HDFC Life Savings Policy[protected] on 8th July 2023 for 40 years at Rs. 30000 per annum. They told me that you will get Rs. 12000 annual cashback in this. And after one year, whenever you want to surrender, you can do it, the whole process will be done online. I have deposited 2 installments (Rs. 63000). When I needed money due to some medical problem and I surrendered my policy, they gave me only Rs. 9, 000 and said that my surrender value is Rs. 18, 000, out of which you have already received cash of Rs. 12, 000, but they gave me only Rs. 9, 000. They gave me cash for the second year and not the yearly value mentioned in the policy. Because of which my EMI is getting bouncing and I am facing harassment. I kept my money in the bank so that I can withdraw it when I need it.

                Intial stage bank never intimate about about first loan first installment date and deducteded charges unnecessarily form first instamment date overdue charges and many time time there is sufficiant installmt of rs 2530 on bank account balance available but bank deducted unncessay overdue charges as bank panelty . more over ner by completion of loan period unnessary bank charges applied for bank load holding charges in my hdfc bank account no [protected] cutomer id no[protected]. now bank demanding overdue amount rs 2502.00 where as on dated rs 4060 was due on dated 20 jan 2025 . as per hdfc bank account there is no due was found on 05 jan 2025 but again bank imposed rs 36 on dated 05/02/2025 and rs 4059.99 on 07/02/2025. after that on till 1702 rs was imposed by bank on bank account.

                  I have HDFC saving bank account at HDFC Hirapur, Dhanbad. They deducted 14 amb charges in one day of not maintaining balance. I was unaware of maintaining minimum balance in my HDFC saving account. Due to unaware of the fact I had not maintained minimum balance in my saving account. The bank has deducted Rs 6821.85 in one go from 17th to 20th march 2025. My Balance was disappeared like smoke.
                  There was no communications either via phone, SMS or Email. I kindly request you to reverse the charges for the months that I've not received any notice or any intimation from your end.

                  I request please help me to get my hard earned money.

                    I was recently charged with an AMB fine.
                    As I was credited with 2000/- RS in my HDFC Bank account, it instantly got deducted and later my account balance was showing as -22, 500.
                    That means I was charged with 24, 500/- RS as a fine.
                    This is completely absurd and please look into the matter as soon as possible as the 2000/- RS is deducted from my aacount.

                      Issue: Even after completing all my EMIs, I have not received the NOC for my car loan.
                      Bank's Response: Upon reaching out to the HBO Branch officer, I was informed that my NOC was sent to a third party who cleared my loan. However, when I inquired about who this third party is and how my NOC was transferred to them, the bank failed to provide any details.
                      I would like to clarify that I am not aware of any third party handling my loan, and I expect the bank to provide transparency in this matter.

                      Request for Resolution:
                      I kindly request you to:

                      Provide complete details of the third party that allegedly cleared my loan.
                      Issue my NOC immediately or guide me on the necessary steps to obtain it.
                      Clarify why the NOC was sent to a third party without my knowledge.

                        I've applied for loan in hdfc bank and there was an offer which is 0 processing fee charges. when I was applying the loan, it was clearly mentioned that no changes will be deducted. But charges deducted and now bank is saying we will not pay the processing fee because bank forced me to get the amount by DD. DD is not applicable for processing fee reversed. I'm keep saying that please show me the terms and conditions cause and they couldn't show me the terms and conditions. So, this is totally scheme of the bank. They are scamming us by saying that the loan is zero processing fee loan. Never ever trust HDFC bank ever.
                        I want my processing fee amount, that's it.

                          I have a saving account with hdfc .I saw today their is a additional ammout was debited from account with AcH debit return charges total of ₹1, 144.68. This is first time I am facing this issue without intimate and cut from my account

                          have never been informed that this would be charged due to lack of funds. What are these charges for! Why are they so high. It is not a debt i have to pay. It is sip. How can you inculcate habit of regular savings if you penalise so harshly for not having balance.

                          Hdfc bank has to return this money. There was no intimation from the bank on the consequences of not keeping sip amount in account.

                            Dear Sir/Madam,
                            I am writing to file a formal consumer complaint against HDFC Bank regarding an unauthorized loan that has been processed, the holding of amounts from my account without disbursing the loan amount, and issues related to Demand Drafts (DDs) I have repeatedly raised concerns about. Despite my continuous attempts to resolve the matter, I am still facing charges and receiving recovery calls from your team.
                            Complaint Details:
                            • Loan Account Number: [protected]
                            • Amount Hold: 5197.82 Rs
                            • Customer ID:[protected]
                            • Demand Draft Number: 568005 (valid up to 10th March 2025)
                            Summary of the Issue:
                            1. Unauthorized Loan Charge: I was shocked to discover that HDFC Bank has charged my savings account for a loan under the loan account number [protected]. However, despite this charge, the loan amount has not been credited to my account. I have no knowledge of this loan and did not authorize any such transaction.
                            2. Unexplained Charges: The amount was debited from my account, but no loan amount has been credited to my account. The bank continues to generate EMIs for this loan, which is completely unexplainable when the loan amount has not been credited to my account. I am unsure how these EMIs are being calculated and generated.
                            3. Demand Draft (DD) Issues: I have repeatedly requested the cancellation of any DDs related to this loan, but to date, HDFC Bank has failed to take any action regarding this. The DD Number 568005, valid until 10th March 2025, is still active, and the bank continues to hold the amount linked to this DD, causing further inconvenience and distress.
                            4. Lack of Response from the Bank: Despite sending multiple emails and contacting HDFC Bank’s customer service numerous times, requesting cancellation of the loan and cancellation of the DDs, there has been no proper response from the bank, and no resolution has been offered.
                            5. Recovery Calls: I have been receiving continuous calls from the HDFC Bank recovery team, demanding repayment for a loan that I did not apply for, and which has not been credited to my account. This is causing unnecessary stress and harassment.
                            What I Need from HDFC Bank:
                            1. Immediate Reversal of Amount Debited: The amount that was debited from my account should be immediately reversed, as the loan was unauthorized, and no amount was credited to my account.
                            2. Clarification of EMI Generation: I request a clear explanation of how the EMI is being generated for this loan, considering that the loan amount has never been credited to my account.
                            3. Cancellation of Demand Draft (DD) Number 568005: I request the immediate cancellation of DD Number 568005, valid until 10th March 2025, and the refund of any amounts held due to this DD.
                            4. Halt Recovery Actions: I request that all recovery actions and calls from the HDFC recovery team be halted immediately until this matter is properly investigated and resolved.
                            5. Written Confirmation: I expect a written confirmation from the bank regarding the cancellation of the loan, the reversal of the charges, and the resolution of the DD issue.

I am writing to express my frustration regarding the unnecessary EMI charges that have been applied to my HDFC credit card, despite making timely payments every month. Additionally, I am deeply disappointed by the lack of response to my previous complaints regarding this issue.

                                I have consistently ensured that all my payments are made on time, and there has been no delay on my part. Despite this, EMI charges have been applied to my account, which I believe are unjustified. I have raised several complaints previously regarding this matter, but to date, I have not received any response or resolution.

                                It is concerning that, despite multiple attempts to get clarification, my concerns have not been addressed. I kindly request that you urgently look into this issue, provide a detailed explanation for the charges, and reverse any erroneous charges if applicable.

                                I trust you will treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves and ensure prompt action. I would also appreciate it if you could acknowledge this complaint and confirm that it has been escalated to the appropriate team for resolution.

                                  Hi team,
                                  I'm a customer of HDFC Bank. My bank account is blocked due to some KYC updation issues, and most importantly, they have not informed me about the same. I got to know about this when I didn't use my credit card in petrol pump and other place I contacted the bank and also earlier already submitted the required documents to complete the KYC process and to unblock my account but it has already been more than 3 days and there is no communication from the bank via mail/text. What is taking them so long to unblock my account?

                                    I am attempting to add a beneficiary for RTGS in my account, but I am encountering an issue with the IFSC lookup feature. When I enter the IFSC code HDFC0000238 (which is correct and verified), the system displays an error message stating "No Record Found" . This prevents me from proceeding further and adding the beneficiary.

                                    To provide more clarity, here are the details of the search criteria I used:

                                    Branch Name: MEHSANA - GUJARAT


                                    Despite entering the correct IFSC code, the system fails to fetch the corresponding bank and branch details. I have double-checked the IFSC code for accuracy, and it matches the one provided by the beneficiary's bank.

                                    This issue is causing significant inconvenience as I am unable to complete my transaction. I kindly request you to look into this matter urgently and resolve the issue with the IFSC lookup functionality so that I can add the beneficiary and proceed with the RTGS transfer without further delays.

                                      I HAVE TWO ISSUES FROM HDFC CREDIT CARD AND HDFC SAVING PENALTY ON NON MAINTAINING MINIMUM BALANCE

                                      Hi sir, I am V Kiran Kumar, i am facing a problem from HDFC Credit Card xxxx2350, Earlier I had HDFC Credit Card, it was expired on[protected] before that date I lost that Credit Card and I was informed to HDFC Credit Card Team to block that Credit Card. On May 19, 2023, I got a call from HDFC Credit card Recovery Agent, that there is an outstanding amount about Rs. 41, 000/-, I said that my Credit card was expired and I didn’t raise for new Credit Card. They HDFC Recovery agent replied me the new Credit card was automatically generated and every month it is charging minimum amount so requested me to clear outstanding bill.
                                      On May 19 2023, I was cleared Rs. 39, 000/-, and balance Rs.3, 000/- requested to HDFC Credit Card Customer support through mail for waiver off because of even after expiry of existing HDFC credit card without customer intimation/request they automatically generated new HDFC Credit Card and it was not dispatched to me and it was not activated, simply charging monthly. I don’t know the New HDFC Credit Card details to utilize digital credit transaction or physical credit transactions.
                                      What my question is if customer don’t have any valid HDFC Credit card and didn’t utilizing those HDFC Credit Card Services, even customer didn’t activate or don’t know new credit card details which can be able to utilize either physical or digital transaction. Then why should customer have to pay monthly charges. Additionally, they are literally giving mental torcher and impacting on my CIBIL score as well.
                                      Regarding this issue I was escalated through mail to HDFC Credit Card Customer Support many times but no response from HDFC Credit Card end. Simply they are charging monthly now it was increased about Rs. 9000/-.
                                      I was contacted to my HDFC Credit card Relationship manager but she doesn’t know the solution, she told me to go to your home branch they will give solution, On jan 1, 2024 I was visited to my HDFC home branch (Koramangala, Bangalore). but they told me to visit Richmond Circle branch address was not cleared so I didn’t catch the address. I tried so many times to HDFC credit card Customer care through help line but they didn’t know about solution. .
                                      More than 2 years I did not made any transactions even they did not bother about the customer is alive or not. Simply they are generating new Credit Card without customer intimation/customer request, they are charging monthly amount.
                                      (The same issue was happened with indusbank credit card, but they given me Rs 16, 000/- waiver off- if required I will attach that mail copy from indusbank credit card). But in this HDFC Credit card behaving adversely.

                                      Sir, earlier In 2015, my company was opened salary in
                                      Bank : HDFC Koramangala Branch -iv Block
                                      Location : Bangalore.
                                      IFSC Code -HDFC002777.

                                      After that, I was shifted from another company and my salary account was also changed to State Bank of India (SBI), from that onwards the HDFC Salary Account was automatically converted into Saving account, and i didn’t made any transaction for so many months. The HDFC bank has been charging penalty for non-maintaining of minimum balance in the said account. Now my savings account showing about in negative -Rs. 22, 000/-
                                      I was shocked when I see this negative amount.

                                      I need to resolve this issue ASAP. Kindly do needful.

                                        I am writing this complaint to formally bring to your attention the extreme mental harassment, financial loss, and unethical practices inflicted upon me by HDFC Bank regarding the cancellation of my loan.

                                        On 22nd January 2025, I submitted a cheque to HDFC Bank for the cancellation of a ₹10 lakh loan within the cancellation period. I was provided a receipt and assured that the cancellation would be processed within 5-7 days.

                                        However, on 1st February 2025 (the 8th business day), I was shocked to receive a message stating that my EMI would be deducted on 7th February 2025. I immediately visited the bank, only to be informed for the first time that my cheque had bounced. HDFC Bank conveniently failed to notify me via email or SMS regarding the bounced cheque, which is an unacceptable and deliberate omission on their part.

                                        To make matters worse, I was forced to issue a second cheque with additional interest, despite the failure being entirely due to HDFC Bank’s negligence in informing me of critical banking requirements. The cheque was rejected because transactions above ₹5 lakh require prior approval from my bank (Bank of Baroda)—something that HDFC never disclosed when I initially submitted the cheque on 22nd January. Had they provided this essential information at the beginning, I would have ensured approval from my bank, preventing this entire ordeal.

                                        This has caused immense stress, unnecessary financial burden, and mental agony, all due to the bank’s negligence, miscommunication, and failure to follow basic consumer rights protocols. The bank has displayed complete disregard for my time, mental peace, and financial well-being.

                                        I demand immediate action against HDFC Bank for:

                                        Failing to notify me about the bounced cheque in a timely manner.
                                        Withholding critical information about the cheque clearance policy, which led to additional financial losses.
                                        Forcing me to pay extra interest due to their own negligence.
                                        Causing extreme mental harassment and stress due to their irresponsible handling of my case.
                                        I request the Consumer Forum to take strict action against HDFC Bank and ensure that I am compensated for the financial and emotional distress caused. I also urge a thorough investigation into their unethical practices so that other consumers do not suffer the same ordeal.

                                        I expect a swift response and a resolution at the earliest.
