I misplaced my credit card (Last four digit:8935) 7-8 months ago, then i blocked this card using mobile app and after that i spoke to customer care service and asked them to close my account permanently and they assured me it will be closed. But again on april 2019, they generated bill on my name with credit card number last four digit ending with 0034. Again spoke to customer care and they informed me that hey have generated a new card on my name. They hadn't taken any permission for generating new card number neither they inform me that a new card number is issued to me. I came to know only when they charged rs 590 for renewal membership. Now they are not closing my account and charging rs 590 as late fee every month. I have complained multiple times and every time they file a complain and informs me "back end" team will call me to resolve my problem, but till now i haven't receive any call from them. After complaining multiple times they have given my credit card account number : [protected], before that i don't even had any information about credit card number except last four digit 0034, which i came to know when they charged renewal fee. I don't know what to do, i even visited hdfc branch, and they are asking me to speak to customer care. There is no one to listed in customer support department and every month they are adding rs 590 as late fee.
