I had applied home loans in hdfc ltd during oct'2018. As a existing customer, i preferred to go head with hdfc. But, i don't know that the project of the builder should be approved by hdfc to give the loan. Hdfc representative, suggested that we will get loan sanction by using the form pni and then you can give remaining documents. I am confident that they will give the loan. So, i signed the pni and given to the bank. Around jan'2019 i got message saying that my loan sanctioned and they took the processing fees. After few days of time, hdfc representative saying that we are not sure whether this project is approved by hdfc or not. If not approved, again we need to create this project in our catalogue and go for project approval.
Around jan'19, they requested for additional document for disbursement and i arranged the required documents and given to them. They took again 10 days of time and coming back saying again the project is not approved and we required more documents. I requested to transfer of my file after 5 months of frustration and mental torture to nearest branch. The transferred my loan documents to nearest branch (Hosur) to fix the loan. Atfer 2 weeks of walk to the bank, finally the hdfc hosur branch manager explained that, the koramangal branch not proceed you file completed to disbursement of the loan and explained what need to be done next.
This is almost 6 months, think about the person who applied loan in your bank and how much he suffered?
This is cheating with out explaining about project approval you guys detected the loan processing amount. With addition to that, i paid legal fees to lawyer from my packet. I need my money back. Please do the needful.
HDFC Bank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
