I had made a purchase of a consumer durable item (For rs.66, 000/-) from adishwar india limited. Further, i had availed the previaling offer from hdfc credit cards for cash back / 0% emi conversion.
However, subsequently, the vendor (Adhishwar india limited) failed to deliver the product and sent two requests to their merchant relationship contact at hdfc credit cards for (I) reverse the transaction of rs.66, 000/-; and (Ii) cancellation of the emi transaction created from the vendor side.
While hdfc credit cards has cancelled the transaction for rs.66, 000/- and reversed the same, they have failed to cancel the emi transaction despite the request / communication.
As a result, the emi and gst has been generated in my credit card statement. Now despite several requests made in writing / over phone, the matter is not resolved and hdfc is insisting that i make a request for pre-closure with a written confirmation / acceptance for levy of 3% closure charges.
Whereas, the principal amount itself has been reversed by hdfc and also the vendor has made a request for cancellation of the emi transaction as well.
