I bought vehicle insurance from the HDFC General Insurance Comp. ltd., Policy Number[protected] policy period 29/09/2018 to 28/09/2019. Now the insurance company withheld my insurance policy with a reason of "non eligibility for no claim bonus (ncb) as per previous insurer". The company shows my previous premium as Rs. 13, 270 and revised premium as Rs. 15, 115 and asked me to pay the NCB difference rs 1, 845. When I denied to the NCB difference, they disown their responsibility to pay any claim for the policy in future. When they deny to pay my further claims, I wanted them to refund my previous paid amount rs. 13, 270. They denied to pay even that amount. Now that I took NOC from RTA on AP09CL5080 and the sale deed stayed pending because of HDFC Ergo's denial letter. Thinking that the sale of the Scorpio is completed, I bought jeep (paying 80% of advance) for Rs. 28lakhs and I am aghast for the HDFC Ergo Gen Insurance's letter. AP09CL5080 is neither sold nor held with me because of the HDFC stagnation of Insurance Policy. It brought me mental trauma and heavy financial loss. When HDFC can not entertain my Insurance Policy, they can not hold my money with them. So I demand the HDFC Ergo Gen Ins. to refund me my entire money with a compensation of Rs. 50, 00, 000 for the loss of my business, health and mental peace.
