There are 4 such deductions on my account for the 4th oct, whereas i checked my statement and i find only one withdrawal for this date of rs 100.

But just after getting a sms from hdfc bank i came to know that transaction was declined as my kotak mahindra bank account is an nre account. This is with regards to my case no : cudebit card transaction. I swiped my card on 2/9/18 at suvarna jewellers vijay nagar, goregaon east. My account was debited with rs.40000/-. But the transaction was declined and the jeweller didnt receive the payment.

Why am i being charged this amount (₹4.18) in the form of "debit card pur adj dt 08-10-18" while the original transaction happened 2 days ago?
These deductions are really unacceptable.
When i called hdfc customer service, the phone banker didn't have a clue about the fee.
I have used other bank debit cards also but never came across this kind of fees
