Dear Sir,
I was guided by a HDFC bank employee for a personal loan which has processed online on August 2021 from HDFC Chennai branch, while loan disbursement and application process, banker promised that, there are no prepayment charges. Loan disbursement and all done well.
But, when i tried to close the loan on Aug 2022 by visiting branch in pin code 524003, after paying 12 EMI installments. The bank people at branch, mentioned that i have to pay prepayment charges, if it is less amount i won't write this complaint, pay prepayment charges alone close to 70, 000. The interest itself already 2.5Laksh for one year.
I am writing this complaint to solve this problem.
Online loan process is little tricky, if the customer is not completely awake, BANKERS are always ready to loot the innocent people's money.
If the customer is sincere in payments, why bankers are always trying to cheat innocents? can't understand.
Hope this complaint helps me in solving the problem.
