On 23/03/2018 i received a call from one mr arvind arora from mobile no [protected], who said he was calling from hdfc life and informed about my policy no 11403946 wherein a premium of rs 50000 was paid on 23 march 2010 and none thereafter. He mentioned about the revival of the said policy..
Next day i. E. On 24/03/2018 i called on the above number to contact mr. Arora but number was picked up by ms. Radhika sharma, she told me that she is senior of mr. Arora and she also informed me that my policy has been lapsed and only way to get the money is to go for settlement and for that she gave me cell number of mr. Vishwajit singh ([protected]) and told me that mr. Vishwa jit singh looks after the lapse policies of hdfc from the year 2006 to 2012. So i contacted mr. Vishwajit singh who after taking the above policy no.[protected]Which was given to me by mr. Arora) told me that he will get back to me within 15 minutes after checking the details on hdfc life insurance co. Ltd.. Then after 20 minutes around he called me and told that yes this policy is is already lapsed and in the name of bl garg issued on 23/03/2010 premium paid is rs. 50, 000/- and since it is lapsed so only way to get its money is by way of settlement for which i need to take one new policy super income of hdfc which is for 8 years premium and for 16 years of term and after taking this policy premium of lapsed policy will be transferred to this new policy after 15 days and then after 90 days i will have the option to get the complete money back i. E. Rs. 1, 00, 000/- + of new policy and rs. 1, 08, 000/- of lapsed policy totaling rs. 2, 08, 000/- or may continue the present new policy by paying premium for 7 more years. Seeing better option to get the money of lapsed policy i agreed and he told that to go for settlement of policy he has to inform to mumbai office of hdfc life insurance co. Ltd. And they will generate an approval code for settlement after verification on phone from me the details and reason for not paying the premium for this long so you tell them the same thing which has been told to me. I agreed to this. Then after around 1 hour i received a call from [protected] (Mr. Manish chauhan) saying that he is talking from mumabi hdfc life insurance co. Ltd. And he has received my request for settlement of policy no. 11403946 and for some other details and told that he is processing it for settlement and told ok go ahead then he sms me one approval code as hdfc014927ia and told me that this code should be given to mr. Vishwa jit singh so he will initiate further and i did the same. After half an hour i received calls from following numbers[protected], [protected] and [protected] for keeping my documents ready along with one cancelled cheque and one payment cheque of rs. 1, 00, 000/- for generating anew policy of super income. I kept all the documents ready and when it was confirmed to mr. Vikram ([protected]) that documents are ready then he came to my house and collected all the documents along with one cancelled cheque and and payment cheque in the name of hdfc life insurance co. Ltd. For an amount of rs. 99, 999/- and told me that i will receive another call from mumbai for verification of documents.in the evening around 5 pm i received a call from [protected] (Person speaking said he is calling from mumbai hdfc life insurance co. Ltd.) and verified the details and told that one final verification call will come from broker firm so i should attend and verify the same but never to discuss with settlement of policy. Although no phone has come till this time but now after searching on net it has come to my notice that above group of people is fraudulently selling the hdfc life insurance policies to the individuals by misleading them in the manner as mentioned above and maligning the reputation of hdfc as a whole.

Therefore, i request hdfc life insurance co. Ltd. Authorities to look into the matter and take action as deemed fit in the interest of company as well as customers.

I have stopped the payment of cheque in the bank.

    Hi,

    I have taken hdfc sampoorn samridhi plan in 2013 and i was promised returns of 15%but now i m not getting even returns of just 3% which is really pathetic.

    I have also asked my personal banker to check the issue but her response is also very poor

    I am really not satisfied with the returns and my personal banker have done the cross selling of hdfc life policy in 2013as i was really not just interested in such policies but by giving false promises she has convinced me to purchase the policy.

    Hdfclife is a real fraud and they don't have any work ethics.

    Hi Amit, I'm facing the same issue. I'm paying 30k per year from 2013. In 2019 policy will mature. Do they really giving 3% because in my case I'm not getting the actual paid amount. Post maturity the amount I'm getting is less then what I'm paying in all this 5 years

    At the time of maturity I am just getting returns of 2 -3%, I have raised the concern with HDFClife customer support team also.

      Hi team,

      Here i am writing to complaint about the charges deduction from our tenants account of rupees 170-180 rupees approx.

      I need to understand why this charges were deducted from their account.

      I am sure you will have a question why i am writing on their behalf to you.

      Reason is i had issued a cheque to our tenant but that got bounced. Though it shouldn't be bounced, i had double amount in my account then the cheque i issued, then why that cheque bounced?

      Secondly later the same cheque got passed stating due to technical reason this happened.

      Now here though cheque got cleared but before getting that cheque cleared, amount of 170/180 got deducted from tenants account by hdfc bank. Why?

      I request you to please refund the amount back to the account to whom the 10000/- cheque was issued on 12 march.

      Kindly refund the amount to their account and also inform me once the amount is refunded.

            I am an nri customer residing in adelaide, south australia. I have been assigned a personal relationship manager to assist me with banking. I have reached a stage where i am getting so frustrated with the lack of response from this individual. Blatantly ignores my emails and phone calls. Mind you i am five hours ahead in time and it makes it very hard to interact. My previous managers were so diligent. It made my banking so much easier.
            Could someone please intervene and provide me with some more efficient personnel whom i can interact with and get my banking done.

              In the morning today, i got two sms alert from hdfc bank that rs10000/- and rs.4000/- has been withdrawn at idbi chitranjan park at 7:59 and 8:00am. Then i rushed to my wallet and look for my card but the card is with me.

              Same has been informed to hdfc customer care and nearest police station.

              I just want to know who will be responsible for this and how do i get my money hard earning back. If money is not safe in the bank where do i suppose to keep it. I am surprised it happen with through atm withdrawal and i card was with me all the time.

                Hi i have an account in hdfc bank, and from last one year they are deducting rs 295 for every month if favor of bharti airtel. No payment is received to bharti airtel.

                When i ask bank mangers & customer care to stop this ecs as i don't want to give any payment. They are not responding and stopping my ecs. They say you have to ask bharti airtel to stop the payment.

                My question is if i want to stop any auto payment, then why bank cant stop the same.

                  My wife anita kapoor having saving account number [protected] with your bank, since from last 6 months my wife asking to your staff to get a locker, but your employees are saying madam when you get a insurance policy from us then we will provide you a locker.                       I already having a saving bank account with hdfc, so based on that i had received a call that a credit card has been pre approved on account and no document is needed. I said ok if it preapproved them process it. And it got processed through reference number : [protected]n1

                      But after few days i checked it had been disapproved. I feel bad that with having 800+ of cibil, and withdrawing 3l of monthly salary. Using other bank credit card since 2010 and having approx 5l and 12l of limit on that. And most importantly being their customer they disapproved it. It really disregard of a customer.

                      I won't suggest hdfc anyone and won't user their services for unnecessary again.

                      Being hdfc bank i had received a call from hdfc bank for the credit card, she said that it is pre-approved, you don't need to submit any document against that. And i was happy that being their customer they are very good command in offering their services.

                      And i submitted the application form via ref [protected]n1, and i was very shocked, when i checked the status after 5-6 days, it was showing disapproved.

                      I would like to ask, after having 800+ cibil score, and after having credit card with limit around 4.5 lacs on hdfc and 12lacs on kotak, using cards since 2010, and also the customer of hdfc, they rejected my application which is directly disregard of their customer.

                      I really hate hdfc bank now.

                        This is regarding the fraud transaction from my hdfc account on 2nd feb 2018. This was an atm transaction from mumbai however i was in delhi. I have also filled a customer dispute form along with the copy of fir within 24 hours of the transaction. After doing all the relevant things i also received a text from the hdfc bank on 3rd feb 2018 that my case has been registered under reference number 6706061. I was told that i will get my money back within 3 weeks which is passed as of now. Moreover i have also received a new text on 20th feb 2018 that your case has been responded and closed. While calling to the customer service department i found that there is no records of any complaints made. It is almost 2 months still i have not received my money back and no one is helping me in the bank.
                        Please innvestigate this issue.

                          Myself rangarajan chettiar i have hdfc salary account, i left the job and without my knowledge the account changed to personal account and the bank started charging negative charge for non maintenance. When i went to bank for closing the account they asked me to pay for closing the account. I am jobless and im not going to pay any charge. I request hdfc bank to close my account asap.

                            The above mentioned policy was paid quarterly (Four times) for the year[protected]. The premium amount per quarter is rs.4530, which is already paid. But i had not received the annual premium receipt of hdfc sl classic assure insurance plan policy no.14762657 for the current year. Please mail me on my mail address. Also suggest me how i will get the same in future. As few days are left to submit the statement, i need it quickly. So kindly do the needful as early as possible.

                                I have received a call from one of your personal loan executive, which i missed. I have called back on that number [protected] to check back on missed call. The executive who lifted the enquired if i am interested in taking personal loan. When i said no, she started abusing me asking why i called and disturbed her when i am not interested.
                                I have called back on the number to check more details on her, but some one else was answering the call saying that she was having lunch and the reason she behaved that way.
                                The kind of behaviour is not acceptable and i want to know what action has been taken for the issue.

                                  I was holding credit card with hdfc bank. When i decided to close the credit card the customer care has asked me to personally vsit begumpet office. I personally visited the office and after knowing the balance i paid the amount in full. After one week when i called for update they said there is still outstaning of rs.280 which i have paid again. Now after checking my details in credit history there is still outstanding of 139. What is that they are doing with all these silly things. Such a wasteful spending of precious resources of customers. Really horrible experience with hdfc bank. Even geniunue payers they are making to suffer like this. They gave me contact number of 49187502. Its useless phone. Not atall riging. Request you to please do the needful.

                                  I tried this number its of no use. Also request you to please send my statement of account to [protected]@yahoo.com email id. I exited from my earlier company and am no longer using the email id and mobile number as per your records. I have updated the details in written format addressed to chennai office and put it in hdfc drop down box in begumpet office hyderabad. So far no action is taken to update the change of address. Please send any person from HDFC phone number. The customer care is so poor in their responses.

                                    Hi team,

                                    I am taking home loan from hdfc for that i need to close auto loan taken from hdfc i have already paid 13emi's, still they are asking for preclosure charges.

                                    Kindly help me in waiver off pre closure charges, so that i can close this auto loan and start with my home loan.

                                    This is not right, i am hdfc customer since i started with my banking in 2012. All my transactions be it salary, loans, credit cards, everything is with hdfc still they are charging preclosure.

                                    Kindly help.

                                    I believe you value your customers and my issue will be resolved.

                                      Hi team,

                                      I received a call from your executive stating as per the company policy your account has been on hold.

                                      As per your bank policy as your executive assisted me that they have an rite to hold a customer salary salary account and even they have an option of deducting the amount from the customer salary account.

                                      Hence kindly provide me as per the rbi guideline, how come a bank can hold a salary account of a customer and there after can deduct money from the sakary account without any permission or else show me the same as in your company policy.
                                      Even after deduction from my salary account how come you can deduct from my credit cared balance once paid.

                                      Pls do let me know asap.

                                      I don't understand why it's taking so long to come to the conclusion ultimately every charges and fine has to be bared by the cx, every time getting a system generated response i don't think this will work at all.

                                      I would request the team to be quick in giving responses despite of giving system generated tat and replies.

                                        Without communicating to me, hdfc bank converted my salary account into savings account.
                                        2) because of the above, the following deduction happened from my account without my knowledge:
                                        • date - 09/01/18 = rs. 531.00
                                        • date - 12/03/18 = rs. 648.39
                                        3) right now, my account is showing (Negative) balance of rs. -590 because of "i don't know what reason".

                                        Further, as communicated by the bank official, i was assured of the following:

                                        1) this total deducted amount of rs. 1179.39 (=531+648.39) will be credited back to my account.
                                        2) this month when my salary will be credited, the negative balance of rs. -590, which is currently reflecting in my account will not be deducted.

                                        On the second day i received a call from the bank official's end stating that:

                                        1) the charges levied hdfc bank has two components:
                                        Gst = 18%
                                        Non-gst = 82%
                                        2) the 18% gst component will take a long time to recover as it has already been paid by hdfc bank to the government.

                                        3) the 82% non-gst component will be refunded by hdfc bank to me.

                                        Here below are my concerns:

                                        1) the 18% gst component which hdfc has paid to the government is not a fault from my end. Thus, just because hdfc has paid the amount, i cannot forget about it thinking it will take a long time for hdfc to recover this component.

                                        2) so, my point of view is that hdfc bank pays me back my entire deducted amount, i. E. Both the gst and non-gst components, because my salary account was converted to savings account without any intimation to me. Thus, i don't think that because of "no-fault from my end", i should be losing my hard earned money.

                                        3) further, please initiate all the processes from your end and validate it properly so that my salary account stays as salary account and isn't converted into savings account in the upcoming months. I don't want to again go through this phase where my money gets wrongly deducted.

                                        Today i just got rs rs.999 of the total rs.1179 amount.

                                        But, since the earlier negative amount, rs. -590, reflecting in my account was not corrected, after the rs.999 got credited i was left approx. Rs. 409.

                                        So, as of date without any future incorrect minimum balance deduction, hdfc bank needs to pay me back rs.[protected]+590).

                                        Its been 10 days and still hdfc isin't resolving my issue. Please understand the gravity of the situation because it seems to be a cheating with a customer. I am not understanding where is my fault and why i have to go through all these phases? Moreover hdfc bank official's claiming that it's wont be possible to refund me 18% as its been given to the government.

                                        Without any intimations the salary account got converted into savings account then the account got penalised and now i am being told that i wont be able to get my hard earned money.

                                        I request you to look into this matter on an urgent basis as i don't understand how can hdfc bank convert my account from salary to savings without communicating to me and start deducting my money without any intimation?
