I am a holder of hdfc bank visa business regalia credit card where i had received priority pass for complimentary access to lounges at airport terminals.
I have received the latest statement for my credit card on 16.02.18 (Attached herewith) in which i have been charged for using the priority pass for lounge visits at domestic airports in the months of september 2017 and october 2017.
Kindly note that it is unacceptable and hdfc should reverse the charges on the basis of the following points:
1. I was not aware of the changes of the terms and conditions of priority pass, as i did not receive any official communication regarding the same through sms or email.
2. I always carry both the cards i. E. Priority pass and hdfc regalia business credit card to the lounge reception. Had i been aware that priority pass is chargeable at domestic lounges, i could have used my hdfc bank regalia credit card instead.
3. I did not receive any alerts when my card was being charged. It is unethical on the part of hdfc to charge the credit card and not provide any communication for the same.
4. The credit card statements for 3 months following the priority pass usage, did not reflect these charges. As per the new terms and conditions the charges should reflect int he statement by 90 days from the date o[censored]sage.
5. Lastly, kindly note that we are having long standing relationship with hdfc bank. Our organisation m/s alliance commercial transport has current accounts, loan accounts, od accounts etc. With hdfc bank.in view of the same, we expect that you should immediately reverse these charges, so our trust in hdfc is maintained and we can continue to do business with your bank.
