I have applied for a claim refund on 03.10.2022 and have sent all the relevant documents to the health claims dept and have followed up multiple times. But, your claims team is least bothered to respond or process the claim even after 10 days.

      Dear HDFC ERGO Team,

      It is very disappointing to experience such an unprofessional response from a reputed organisation like HDFC.

      I am having my health insurance and car insurance policies with HDFC ergo also we share our company’s current account and salary account banking relation with HDFC Bank . Below are the cases and reasons for my dissatisfaction.

      1) Health insurance - My health insurance policy no[protected] is with HDFC ergo from past few years and it is renewed every year. I was very surprised, when I came to know few days back that my policy for the current year has not been renewed despite of the fact that payment of Rs 24306 against renewal was debited from my HDFC saving account on 21.06.21 and got CREDited in your account. This transaction has been verified from the bank, transaction details for your reference HDFC ERGO HEALTH- HI[protected] dated 21st June 2021 Rs 24306. Until 24th June 2022 you were unable to renew my health insurance policy. CONTACT CUSTOMER care politely refused to entertain upon CONTACTing for hospitalization cash less facility for the insured CUSTOMER- Shani Fatema’s elbow injury, CUSTOMER care team informed us, your insurance policy status is in expired condition .Such an unethical approach is absolutely not acceptable. I expect a proper justification from your side on this and a refund of 100% amount immediately along with inconvenience / intentional negligence compensation of Rs 15 Lacs ( sum insured value) and indirect financial loss due to mental harassment.

      2) Car insurance - Unfortunately, my zero depreciation car insurance since last couple of years is again with HDFC ERGO (policy number:[protected], but fortunately insurance is in active state. I have raised a claim ( Claim reference number -C[protected] against the under body damages happened few days back due to a road mishap. All possible explanation is already submitted in your form along with car service history and necessary documents. But, this time again you have displayed a very rude behaviour by rejecting the claim without any convincing reason. My car is in Pune based Volkswagen company authorized workshop from past one week and I am suffering because of your poor standards of work. I request you again to look into the matter closely and support.

      Your company executives are following up with me to buy a term plan. How can I continue my association with your organisation with such an experience.

      I hope a company of your stature will respond quickly without making it further complicated.

      I hope you must have gone through my previous emails with reason of disappointment ### to my health insurance policy & motor policy.
      I[censored]nresolved within 3 days, shall report such kind o[censored]nethical business practice to IRDA with all valid proofs and necessary documents and file a legal case against HDFC ergo.

      1. HEALTH INSURANCE : Apology is not at all acceptable to me. and for your information the matter was brought into HDFC team's notice 375 days ago and during the medical emergency HDFC Ergo CUSTOMER care and team at various level had refused to support ( which is the insured person's right as a policy holder) by stating your policy has expired and HDFC ergo is not liable to entertain any cashless hospitalization . Unprofessional and rude approach has caused mental stress, harrasemment, direct financial loss and indirect financial loss .

      Case 1 : If I do not make the payment to renew my policy and after 375 days any medical emergency arises, in this case will you give the claim and cashless facility if I say Sorry / Apologies I couldn't pay my premium for last year and this year please consider my deep regret and provide me cashless facility . Will you provide me the cashless facilities??

      Case 2:wherein I had made the premium payment in advance and HDFC ergo intentionally and unethically refused to support the hospitalization cashless facility. How can I accept your apology?? Not acceptable

      2. MOTOR INSURANCE : Thankyou again for displaying rude denial mode. I am really not satisfied with your justification for the claim rejection.

      Again, I am requesting you to get the issue resolved in an ethical way.

      whatever you have done related to my health policy and non-issuance of policy even after 365 days of making the payment is ok to you for not allowing the insured person for the health insurance cashless facility by simply stating your policy has expired almost a year ago ???????

      What rubbish ?

      I have read all your policy terms and condition no where it’s mentioned that even after making the renewal payment health insurance policy holder will be disallowed to avail cashless facility .

      Is it part of your policy hidden terms and condition to not renew the health insurance policy ?

      After several reminders at various level ( manager to ceo ) from my side to give the proper justification I haven’t got any positive response.
      Just imagine, I took the insurance on good faith and during covid peak period if any medical emergency would have happened to insured person, had to go through all these nonsense . Is it practically possible for a common insured citizen to fight with general insurance goons during the need of medical emergency if they refuse to give support by fraudulent activity..simply saying your policy is not valid .

      Strict action must be taken against HDFC ergo so that no other policy holder suffers due to their unethical business practices.

      HDFC must compensate me for the mental stress, harassment, direct and indirect financial losses .

      Don't take the any policy from HDFC ERGO.

      They give wrong information while issuing the policy.

      Company is hungry for money.

      Go for other company in market which cheaper than This Froud company.

      They call serval times while issuing the policy but there is no help while claim process.

      Their cope is also very poor.

        I have a complain against HDFC ERGO General Insurance my two wheeler bike got accident on[protected] and i have delivered the bike in Honda showroom to repaired and showroom already done procedure for insurance claim on[protected] where till now HDFC ERGO has not given the approval for repairing the accidental bike. continually doing follow-up with surveyor Mrs. Dipanwita Paul Sarkar from HDFC ERGO claim no. is C[protected]. when ever asking only getting the reply sir approval not yet received from HO. where i have already asked that Ma'am its 02 month which is enough and bike insurance was done on[protected] while purchased bike from Honda Showroom Velocity Honda. and already asked what problem i am facing without bike daily Rs.600 now i am giving to Rapido has my office is 25Km away from my house. but they are not listing always asking sir please give us the time 3 days after 03 days again same things happen please wait for 02 days. for this i am regularly reaching office late.

          Worst service I ever seen in my life, we already given intimation n start procedures of claim. From last ३ days still no approval given by hdfc only query generting froast 3 days, my mom meet an accident and thigh bone breaks is it her problm. Still this hdfc people not ready to give accident approval to hospital worst hopeless service

              My Name is Govind Prasad Agrawal and my contact no. [protected]. I had met an accident 10-12 days before. And the company gives me 12000 estimate for this. And around 50% bear by me. After all the Surveyor Ashwani ji gives only 2900/- value of parts of which 1450/-. bear by him. I had to pay 4600/- . Then why I take insurance I am capable to pay full cost and may be company is not capable. I want resurvey of my scooty or refund of my insurance policy.

                I have applied for reimbursement of the health coupon of Rs 3000/- following all the guidelines and submitted all the documents on the same. Still haven't recieved any appropriate response, rather I have been recieving the BOT responses. Please assist on the same.

                This is wrong after following each procedure, Reaching out to all the cashless centres only to know you dont have tie up anymore but still those diagnostic centres are listed in your site. and then reached out to you guys after paying cash for reimbursement and you guys are being so careless about it after paying so high premium.

I have submitted documents still they ask for the same document again and again. I do not understand their query and there is no human I can talk to in the regard.

                  I have submitted all documents I received from hospital they still ask the same document again and again.

                  Kindly help me by assigning some TPA to claim settlement officer who can help me understand the queries.

                  I am struggling to get claim settled for last 1 month.

                    False report by HDFC Ergo on vehicle inspection.

                    I cancelled my request for insurance with your agent as the team was lethargic in responding and failed to arrange for
                    inspection in 5 days.

                    "We wish to inform you that the inspection of your vehicle MAHINDRA. XUV 300 W8 (O) PETROL with Reg. No. KA-51-xx-xxxx was done
                    on 05/04/2022 by our surveyor. We regret to convey that we would not be able to offer Package cover."

                    The inspector never visited my house.

                    Also, the inspector was asking me for house address even after I had given it to the agent and the manager twice in those 5
                    days.

                    I even escalated the false claim to the bank manager who did not even show the courtesy of correcting it and closing the
                    issue.

                    Besides your lethargic service, you are reporting false information.
                    Should I report this matter to IRDA and will you handle it?

                        I am an employee of IBM and i have take HDFC Ergo with Medi assist Insurance policy. My mother admitted in hospital and i have submitted all bills. Now there are rejecting the medicine bills saying that those are pre numbered. I have seen so many people facing same issue. Please resolve it asap

                            Dear Respected Sirs,

                            With reference to Grievance for Registration No:PRSEC/E/2021/32756, And IRDA Token Number --[protected] and below email communication, IRDA not yet took action against HDFC ERGO for issuing insurance policy with incomplete proposal form and without doing KYC. For more details please refer attachments as follow documents:-

                            1. Attch 3 HDFC EGRO complaints-data-format
                            2. Attch 1 9th Jun20 incompelete application form received from HDFC EGRO on Gmail - RE_'Service ID=[protected]'IRDA Token Number --_[protected]merged
                            3. Proposal form1 (recently emailed Newly send proposal form, attached document like Aadhar& PAN i do not providedto HDFC ERGO, HDFC ERGO need to explain source from where they obtained these doc)
                            4. Letter from HDFC ERO saying proposal form is complete (received recently)

                            Please review attached newly send proposal form which HDFC EGRO say is completely filled. Also note attached old proposal form with recieving email which HDFC ERGO send me last year 2020.

                            My complaint is HDFC EGRO not took any attached documents from me as they are not self attested by me. (HDFC EGRO need to explain source from where they took these documents) and please explain me IRDA stand does this proposal form provided by HDFC EGRO is complete.

                            Moreover HDFC ERGO Mr. Sonu Sharma told me that HDFC EGRO do not need PAN card or Aadhar card for issue policy. And HDFC ERGO can even issue policy on incomplete applications form. After i ask HDFC ERGO to provide this me in writing on HDFC EGRO letter head, HDFC ERGO not reply. HDFC EGRO representative told shamelessly no KYC assessment required for issuing policy, once policy issued after 15 days customer is responsible for any wrong happening, they do KYC only while receiving Claim. Policy is applicable to customer will come to knows when claim submitted which is like looting of policyholder premium paid. I want IRDA to cancel HDFC EGRO license to run insurance business in India as HDFC EGRO do not follow Indian law, rules & regulations set by IRDA.

                            As this my complaint regarding insurance policy issue with incomplete proposal form and I have complaint IRDA time to time. If IRDA fail to take action against HDFC ERGO, I will fill review petition in high court against IRDA as 1st party and HDFC ERGO 2nd party in public interest.

                            I request concern party to take appropriate action against HDFC ERGO stop looting of Indian citizens by issuing fake/inappropriate/not applicable/with incomplete proposal form insurance policy.

                            Please provide HDFC ERGO definition of complete proposal form and KYC on which insurance policy can be issued.                             I also wrote this issue to ERGO Germany, i will remind ERGO Germany about the unethical practice of HDFC ERGO General Insurance Company in India, which spoils ERGO & HDFC Brand image.

                            With reference to HDFC ERGO reply dated 2nd Feb 2022, 8:05 PM, I would like to bring HDFC ERGO & IRDA notice that THE HARD COPY OF POLICY WAS NOT DISPATCHED TO MY OVERSEAS ADDRESS as HDFC EGRO not completed KYC before issue insurance Policy “Home Credit Assure policy [protected] is issued on 31/12/2018 for the period of insurance 31/12/2018 to 30/12/2023”. Whereas HDFC Ltd communicated all hard copy documents of loan financing to this policy to my OVERSEAS Address, as HDFC Ltd completed KYC and as per KYC my residence status was Non-Residence Indian (NRI) and I received all documents from HDFC Ltd to my OVERSEAS address.

                            Also I would like to bring Notice of HDFC ERGO & IRDA that the hard copy of insurance policy which HDFC ERGO say send in hard was send to my Nominee address in India and Policy hard copy was not included (attached) Insurance policy proposal form which is incomplete. Attached incomplete insurance policy proposal HDFC ERGO send me on 9th Jun 2020 when I asked HDFC ERGO on which document basis HDFC ERGO issue policy.

                            Based on HDFC ERGO below reply it is very clear HDFC ERGO not done KYC and issued policy unethically with ill intention.

                            As HDFC ERGO allwage justify that KYC was done and attached insurance policy proposal form is complete, Hence HDFC ERGO shall produce to customer HDFC ERGO definition of complete insurance policy proposal form and KYC on which insurance policy can be issued and HDFC ERGO is fail to produce any check list of KYC & procedure to check documents before issue Insurance Policy.

                            Even after many reminder by IRDA to HDFC ERGO to resolve IRDAI Token No.[protected] and confirm to the applicant, duly updating the IGMS, HDFC ERGON is failing to resolve and just keep justifying there wrong practices are correct.

                            Hence I request many times HDFC ERGO should be punished by IRDA by cancelling there Insurance Company Licence as ill practice may be not only with me but possible many HDFC ERGO customers will be affected and possible affect in future.

                            Look forward to HDFC ERGO to provide HDFC ERGO definition of complete insurance policy proposal form and KYC on which insurance policy can be issued.

                            Further, the Insured Person is allowed “free look period” of fifteen days to review the terms and conditions of the policy and to contact the insurer in case of any discrepancy. However, we have not received any requests from your side.

                            We also refer the claim RR-PA[protected] intimated on 28/05/2020 and have carefully reviewed the documents submitted by you to validate the eligibility of claim basis policy terms and conditions.                               Hi Team,
                              I am using multiple services of HDFC and a loyal customer of HDFC having my vehicle, health insurance, fastag and Saving accounts of me and my family with HDFC.
                              I met with an accident and claimed my car insurance but HDFC surveyor is unnecessary arguing and misbehaving me. He is providing all invalid points and not giving any logical justification for not covering all the damages. I never expected such harassment from HDFC ergo and took policy from HDFC ergo to get better services. Your surveyor is untrained and very rude and not doing his job properly.

                              Also he is not responding my calls.

                                We made a payment of rs.17198 to hdfc ergo on date[protected] and amt also deducted from axis bank. but it is neither credited in hdfc ergo nor it is returned to my a/c .after the payment, i got the transaction confirmation msg also. please look into the matter and do the needful.

                                  I have Insurance from HDFC ERGO, as per my policy I am entitled for Rs.5000 reimbursement for preventive health check up.

                                  I completed the same but I am following with company to reimburse the amount to me.

                                    i sumitted the settlement of expences made on sergery. Part payment was settled at hospital, part is left. I submitted the whole document at hdfc ergo office mall road kanpur on 20/02 2021. They kept paper pending, no reply and returned paper after 9 months

                                    also i got the policy renewed for 2021-22, but hard copy not yet receive, in spite of many reminders to agent mr harish bajpae and mr awasthi, the executive sitting at kanpur office.

                                      This is the complaint regarding My four wheeler car Maruti Suzuki Swift MH47AN8795.

                                      I bought insurance from HDFC Ergo in Jan'21 and they committed to give best service in all terms of damage of my vehicle.

                                      in June or July'21 my vehicle got damaged (Bonnet damage) due to natural cause heavy wind a brick fallen on bonnet of vehicle and i was not available in my working town Mumbai due to pandemic and lockdown situation when building security warned me abt incident i came and taken back my vehicle to my native and represent to local Maruti Showroom 'Rukmani Motors' in Indore there they (HDFC & MARUTI) deny to take this damage due to unavailability of parts and full staff but they accepted other small damages repaired and passed the claim and asked me to check this Bonnet damage after a month or two.

                                      16th of Nov i came back to Mumbai for work and on date 29 Nov'21 when I visited to 'SAI Service Andheri' Maruti showroom and represented again but HDFC surveyor has deny again to take this damage under my insurance claim policy and stating this one is a old damage but accepted to take other old small damages.

                                      here i want to understand if the damage caused to my car whether its new or old it should get accepted and pass under insurance claim for which i paid the fees as i am not at fault here have already intimate to HDFC and Maruti both in the month of July 2nd week only. (you may ref OLD pic. taken by HDFC) they had not accepted this bonnet damage claim but repaired and passed other damages. please help me out here.

                                      I had written to HDFC support team also but did not get any response and when i called to their officer they are stubborn and stating we are clear on our stand and you may go and file complaint to consumer forum happily.
