I am an user of HERO WAVE DX . I purchased it from your dealer 5351 ( SUR ENTERPRISES, CHANDANNAGAR, HOOGHLY, 712136 on 29th August 2009. My bike holdings Frame Serial No. 21465, Motor Serial No. 901425 and Batter Serial No. 150289 – 292. At the first drive after full charge I found it runs 42 km./ full charge and a crack in the rear wheel cover .I complained for this, at the dealer they checked it and confirmed that it was really happened and one your engineer also came here and checked and told me that he is ordering of a cover as soon as it received it will be replaced and about the battery he told me that this is very new as more as you use this the battery will work fully. But actually it is not happened now the battery become more week it runs 34 km./ full charge. In the mean while when the 2nd service had come I found the left brake switch is out of order. Your engineer checked it and removed the switch but not replaced. Again he told me that he is ordering for a new switch; as soon as it received it will be replaced. In the 3rd service the battery charger became out of order then the dealer told me that when our engineer will come they will in form about this. After 6 months they phone me and told me to bring the bike at their showroom, I brought the bike by a trolley to the showroom. They kept it and told me that next week they will return my bike after solving all problems. After two weeks they phone me again and told me to return the my bike with out any solve. They told that they can’t do anything because their engineer is very busy he can’t come. What does it mean? My bike is still left at the dealers office. It is already three months over.

HERO WAVE DX electric byke — within Warranty period I did not get any service

Sir,

May I think that Hero Electric actually a cheater? And I can’t imagine how you can appoint like this bogus and lazy engineer who has no idea about this bike and why your dealer can’t fulfill the warranty rule? Is you concern full of workers like this lazy and bogus engineer?
I buy a hero optima pluse on date 06/04/11 from RR Tyre Indore.This bike not run more than 25 KM . R R Tyre not resolve my complaint . I repet and repet this complaint .I am face this problem very upset.

Warranty claim for motor of my HERO WAVE DX EXTRA MILAGE

I have purchased HERO WAVE DX EXTRA MILAGE from your local dealer Amit Automobile, Club Road, Mithanpura, Muzaffarpur, Bihar dated on 07/04/2011, chassis No- 1074, Motor No- 906431. On 23 August 2011 my HERO WAVE DX EXTRA MILAGE vehicle’s motor gone out of order, dealer told me it is Hero Electric Company (replacement from Company) warranty replacement case, it will take 20 days but till now (after 100 days) I am waiting for motor replacement. I am Looking to Company reputation, company must be take necessary action to solve my problem. My job card no. is 308.
I HAVE PURCHASED A HERO MAXI BIKE FROM VED AUTOMOBILES KANPUR AT LAST YEAR APRIL.FROM FIRST MONTH IT HAS PROBLUMS. WE ARE REGULARELY SENDING OUR BIKE TO THE SERVICE CENTER, THEY DIDNT SOLVE THE PROBLUM COMPLETLY NOR THEY REPLACE THE BIKE, NOW AFTER 1.5 YEAR THEY ARE ASKING FOR 3500 RS FOR SOME PARTS WHICH ARE STILL UNDER WARRENTY.THEY SAID THAT THE CONDITION OF THE BIKE IS NOT GOOD.BUT THIS CONDITION IS MADE BY THEIR UNTRAINED ENGINEERS ONLY.I WANT COMPANSASION AND GET MY BIKE IN OK CONDITION, PLEASE HELP ME TO SOLVE MY PROBLUM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.MY NAME IS PRANAV CHOPRA MOB NO [protected]
Dear Mr. Pranav,

With respect to your complaint regarding the problems with your Hero Electric Maxi bike and negligence at our after sales service, we want to clarify that as per warranty rules, if any part (falling under warranty terms) of the bike is tampered at your end the warranty is lapsed. Post examining your bike, it was found that you have tried to do many experiments with the vehicle parts and added an external battery to it. Also, the wires of the controller (the most important part of an electric bike) were found intentionally cut. This makes your controller run out of warranty and the same was communicated to you as well. In return, our company’s service engineer who contacted your representative to resolve your problem was abused and threatened by him. Your complaints are completely false and as a result its maligning company’s reputation.
It is advised you can get your controller replaced at our service station at the applicable cost.

Hello my name is Srivatsa Srinivasan from Bangalore, I purchased Hero Electric Maxi vehicle on 1st Nov 2015 from a dealer called Tusha Motors. They promised that the vehicle will run at least 40-50 Kms per charging. but Initially the vehicle used to run about 25 Kms per charging and later it gradually came down to less than 5 Kms per charging.

Now about 10 days back the charging became completely zero and it was never getting powered on, we called mechanic on payable basis who came checked and informed that all the batteries are bulged and can not work any more, When we contacted Tusha Motors, they refused to provide warranty saying that it is applicable only for 8 months from the date of Purchase. This is a big way of cheating by both Hero Electric company and Tusha Motors jointly.

One they never gave any proper guidance at the time of purchase, nor they gave any service to the vehicle. now they are asking us to purchase new batteries at a cost of Rs.12, 600/- (with some nominal discount). I advise please do not purchase this vehicle from both cheating company and cheating dealer point.

please let me know the details of consumer forum (court ) to file a suit against both company and dealer.

    Act of omission/cheating to customer leading to fatal accident
    Sir,
    I have purchased the above said vehicle from your dealer at Chattarpur on his verbal commitment that he will repair and service the vehicle from the sales outlet itself as his boys go to the service sender every day. Only thing needed is to leave the vehicle with him one day in advance and pickup a day after. This was quite suiting to me as this was to be used by my son who is studying in senior secondary school. He got the sales done with a laughing face but shown a souring face when it came to delivering the promise.
    1. At least 4 times he refused to accept the vehicle narrating various reasons. Finally he accepted the vehicle on my reminding him of the commitment. So we could not get the first servicing done in time.
    2. He returned the vehicle after a week with great pressure. But without the charger.
    3. After three four rounds we got a charger of different model and old/repaired.
    4. He has exchanged the charger with an old one( not the same serial no or model which was given)
    5. On reporting the mismatch he again asks to go to Mahipalpur and finally told that the charger returned is the charger given for servicing.
    6. Two of the service coupons are removed with one having data written without seal, and the other totally blank
    7. There are no entries on the service/ maintenance records.
    All the above would have been fine if the vehicle had worked fine to my kid.
    1. On 28 Jan 2010 my son took out the vehicle to proceed for his tuition. Within a span of 500 meters he met with a fatal accident on a vacant road after a gutter. He broke his left leg. He was narrating that the front wheel was wobbling tremendously and he lost control. As he was not touching the vehicle even after getting cured, I was getting more sceptical about the present generation for their negligence to free facilities.
    2. I checked up the vehicle on 28th of Feb. as it was my Rs.25000/- which was draining out
    3. To my surprise the vehicle came out from service had a serious problem. The front wheel wobbles heavily on hitting a small stone or a gutter. It vibrates in such a speed that the balance will be lost if a sudden break is put.
    There is definitely a defect in material and workmanship amounting to fatal accident/death.
    1. There is all the possibility that some parts are cannibalised with old/defective ones.
    2. The front shock absorber seems to be not working
    3. No serving is done by a service centre rather than collecting the coupons
    4. No quality measures in service centre
    God has saved the life of my son. Hero electric team tried to kill him. My son has to be cautious throughout his life with his broken knee.
    Who is responsible for the medical bills and the sufferings we had?

      Dear Sir ,
      My daughter Farha Tarannum purchased a Hero electric optima plus,
      against bill no.863, dt ,16/05/2009,receipt no.1070 from
      B-13/3,Asafali road,New Delhi-110002,tel:23250139.It had been taken
      for all the services required,according to the given time table but
      the service/Maintenance Record page had never been filled by the
      authority at service centre.On 3rd service even the coupon had not
      been filled.
      After 6 months in early November09, the vehicle stopped abruptly and
      carried to the workshop.The attend told us that wiring is short
      circuited and melted, you have over roded it and I have corrected the
      wiring.After that it is stopping every time.Some one in the workshop
      suggested that its overload switch is not working and we ask them to
      change.They told us that the switch was not in the stock you have to
      come some time later.After that they are doing nothing and telling us
      to use the scooty without the switch.Three months have been passed in
      this way the vehicle is standing idle, who is responsible?We have
      suffered very much .Please help us.Thanks

        On 10th May, 2009, I detected that my Hero Maxi's battery was overheated after charging and I rushed to Siddhi Vinayak at Barola(Noida) for their support . They told me that battery is dead and needed to be replaced.
        My scooty was in warranty period. I handed the scooty to them and they told me to come after four days to pick up my scooty. From then it is there (today's 7th june). Whenever I called them they says that the battery has not yet come to them. I even went there several times but that was waste. I also warned them of Consumer Court, but they didn't listen.
        I had also talked to Mr. Bhupender, etc but he is only making fool of me and doing nothing.

        This battery concept is concidered by us. due to often rising petrol rate and polution.. when we are inquiring about the vehicle they response us well. salesmen also ensure us about the good service and company support. but as soon as we purchase the vehicle once they suddenly change theire attitude. this vehicle has very bad problem of tyre puncture if there is no air in tube the vehicle can not move ahead. there is no enough technical and trained staff is available. somewhere the battery checking and other realated equipment is also not avaible. sometime we have wait for parts. i.e tubes, liner, and some other small parts.. It should be make available. when battery problem is there. it is suggested to change all the batteries together. as only one or two batteries required to be change sometime. the concept of costomer and dealer/service support is not clear. and it is making lot of conflict. non technical and unexperienced worker try to make fool electrical - civil - mechanical engineers. but they are helpless to change there service centre.. BECAUSE "EVERYWHRE CROWS ARE BLACK".
        Hero Electric service is very bad and E Bike quality is also bad.
        Same with me.
        My father bought an electric scooty in Oct 2011.
        We have got lot many issues with charger, battery etc. WIth our due efforts, somehow they got our battery replaced twice and charger four times. But all of them were of worst quality and didn't last for long.
        Again, the new charger I got from them has busted in single use only and I am highly disappointed from their behavior, attitude and services!!!
