I have purchased Hero E sprint bike from Speed Auto, Mumbai in June 2011 to clean environment & Eco friendly. But within six month the Battery gets discharged early & run upto 10 -15 km with single charge. My complaints get registered and recd second hand battery after six months & assured me the new battery will be replaced as soon as new one recd. But now the speed auto, panvel. dealership was exist & we are unable to get any service. Meanwhile I have two three more complaints in my E sprint bike & now Bike is under breakdown. We didn't recd any service or spare hence I have run bike only few km from the purchase date. Hence I would like request to attend the complaints & replace the spare ASAP.     I bought a “Hero Electric Cruz” and I am facing lot of problems with its battery.

    It was bought in Oct. 2011 and due to battery issues we needed to get the battery replaced from Hero Electric Service Center in Feb 2012.
    After all this the current situation is, the vehicle is not able to cover even 10 Kms(with single person riding) after a fresh night charging.

    I have raised several complaints on Hero Eco portal and sent several mails but no action has been taken.

      I HAVE PURCHASED A BIKE OF HERO ELECTRIC OPTIMA PLUS FROM SAI SOM AUTOMOBILE DELHI ON 16/4/2012. AFTER FEW DAYS I HAVE BEEN TRANSFERRED TO AGRA. NOW I AM FACING SECOND PROBLEM IN MY BIKE. FIRST TIME THE DEALER OF AGRA (SHANKAR LAL) HAS NOT PROVIDED ME THE SERVICES THAN I SENT MY PERSON TO DELHI TO GET THE PART EXCHANGED WITH SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS.
      NOW CHARGER GOT OUT OF ORDER AND AGAIN SHANKAR LAL AGRA IS NOT READY TO REPLACE THE CHARGER BECAUSE I HAVE PURCHASED THE BIKE FROM DELHI. HE WILL NOT PROVIDE ME ANY SORT OF SERVICES. AND IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO SEND THE PERSON EVERY TIME FOR THE SAME. AND IF THERE IS NATIONALLY SERVICES SYSTEM THAN WHY I AM BEING SUFFERED .
      MR RAVI KANT WHO IS SERVICE HEAD O[censored]PW IS ALSO NOT RESPONDING PROPERLY. HE SIMPLY SAYS THAT I AM SORRY PART IS NOT AVAILABLE .LAST TIME WHEN THE BIKE GOT OUT OF ORDER THAT TIME ALSO NOT PROPER REPLY FROM ANY BODY AND I WAS SUFFERED FOR 20 DAYS.         On 28/7/2011 I have purchased Hero electric Cruz from the very first day I am not having satisfaction in it.

        No.1 The colour was washed out They told us that they will replace it but it is not done still.

        No.2 According to the company after once it is charged it runs 70 km but still it has not run 70 km.

        No.3 This are the major problems but there are many minor problems and for solving this problems average I have kept the bike in showroom for more than 3 months many applications are given to the company but still they have given us no response.


        No.4 One day I visited to the dealer and explained him that the bike is giving very less average so he gave me his one man and I made him visit whole ahmedabad the battery was low in just 37 km.

        No.5 After keeping the bike in the showroom we told that change the battery otherwise we will not take the bike one day they called me up and said come to the showroom his head visited there Mr.Nitiraj So I discussed the problems about the bike but he tried to attack on me and for my protection I called up the police and did the complain.

        No.6 After it they changed the battery still we are not satisfied after the battery problem we are facing from the charger problem they have given us 2-3 more chargers but my problem is not still solved

        At last I shall conclude with we are tired from 9 months So I want my money back We are tired from the regular arguments my main problems the battery,colour , charger are never been solved So I kindly request you to give my money back

            After eight days i am writing again regarding my Hero electric bike......After my initial complain on Indian consumer form eight days ago the Delhi office of Hero electric called me on my cell and told me that their engineer would call me the next day and handle the problem but to my surprise i was kept guessing when he would call me and after two days i called to see if any thing is done but the same answer "we will call you". Now i am fed up with the cat and mouse game one side the dealer in Goa(Samarth auto-Behind Margao police station/dealer of Hero honda pleasure bikes) and other side Hero Electric bikes, can anybody sought this problem?????????????????? Till today the bike is parked the same place at samarth auto Margao-Goa and even the staff of the dealership have no courtesy to call me and say that there is no other alternative to my problem(This dealership of Hero honda which deal with Pleasure bikes are not trained to deal with customers and don't even know manners or know how to speak- ). Or have i to take the Law in my own hand and sought out the things.

              I have written about my electric bike previously and i am writing about the same bike now,,,,,,,After few months of my bike purchase i went for the first service and to my surprise i was told by the agency (Samarth Auto----Behind Margao police station--Goa-----Dealers for Pleasure bikes) that they no longer have the electric bikes dealership. I asked them what to do but they say to go to Hero electric company,,,,,,My question is ,,,,,Have i directly purchased the bike from Hero company so that when any problem i go to them or is it not the dealers part to take care of any problems or services(when they sold the bike didn't they take their commission). This particular Hero Honda company outlet which deals with Pleasure bikes in Margao-Goa behind police station are not professional people and don't have manners to talk to customers and don't know their jobs properly. I would suggest all readers of this complain not to buy Pleasure Hero Honda bikes because tomorrow if something is wrong they will wash their hands. Hero bikes are toys to be kept in showcase.........................Very bad service.............................Unprofessional staff.......................Bad management.........No consen for costumer.

              Hello, My name is Dipak, I bought hero e sprint bike from Jalgaon Maharashtra in 2010 and my dealer did not told me that company gives warranty in each and every spare part of vehicle and did not provided me spare parts and even service in warranty. They said that company is runnig short in spare parts. Jalgaon Hero electric dealer changed his colour after saling bike to me. Mr. Hiresh Kadam run agency here and they are “selling” spare parts to customer in warranty period… its ridicules.

                  It is to inform you that i had bought batteries of hero electric bike(maxii) from your dealer AMAN ELECTRONICS(opp.Lovely Autos,Nakodar Chowk,Jalandhar,ph-[protected]).on[protected].Btteries have developed some problem and stopped working but batteries are under gurranty of six months,I approched your dealer AMAN ELECTRONICS for gurranty issue but he simply refused.it is very sad that such a big company has appointed dealer like AMAN ElECTRONICS .who is erasing the image of the company from the heart of the peoples with his non responsible nature .I have the signed and stamped bill of AMAN ELECTRONICS with me showing six month gurranty.I hereby request the copmpany to kindly resolve the issue as soon as possible and do not appoint such dealers who are continuosly destoying the image of the copmany

                  we bought car 18 july 2008 .In the sep month battery got completely dead, we also went to the lovely autos in jalandhar .they assured us that they will change the battery, they did not change it and gave us the same battery and they just charge it. we gave them service charges near about Rs.300 and also spent fuel charges because we located very far from the lovely autos
                  when they gave us battery . they also got dead after one month. we also complaint it about the lovely autos in jalandhar, but they again did the same thing and again took the service charges .the members of lovely autos did not behave good. when we have to buy car they listen us properly, and call us again and again. but now we bought the car so they do not treat us in good way.The member of lovely autos i.e vikram who assure us that he will help in every way but now he did not listen us, and mobile no of vikram is [protected],
                  whenever we have to go some where, the battery got dead, it happens around 6-7 times, and we also spent around Rs 2100 on the service and fuel charges.

[protected] of mr.Ravikant uttranchal sales head. he told me before holi.vijay je give me 1 week i will exchange your battery .my scooty had stand in luxmi motors & my battery send to company (according him)but no resut find out.then

                      I purchased Esprint electric bike on 18.03,11 and as i was travelling home with the bike it had some sound in the front wheel so i took it back and the mechanic done something and told me that the sound will go as i use it and i went home and i reached my house same sound started and on the next day i went again and again he did some thing but same story at this point i told the staff that if this happens next time than i dont want the bike instead i requested to give me a petrol version of pleasure and i will pay the diffrence but they assured me this wount happen next time so i thought to my self that the problem must have been solved. But after few days there was sound but i could ride the bike now as of the fifteenth day or the 30th day the bike needs to go for service and i thought i would tell them about the problem and another 06 more problems which came within fifteen days and when i gone to the workshop for the first service they told me the mechanic is off for one week son i had to return back after one week they told me the mechanic is still not come to duty. Now i spoke to the manager and he promised me in two days the bike will be ready so after three days i gone to check if the bike is ready and to my missery the bike was there where i had left it. Now i spoke to another manager and i told him either refund the money or give me replacement of the petrol version and he told me neither can be done and go and do whatever i can do...

                      Now after this conversation with the manager I DONT WANT THE BIKE AND REQUIRE MY REFUND ONLY.Please do something URGENT as i dont have any other bike and also please note i dont want to waste my precious time with Heroelectric as they know only to promise.

                      My E sprint bike defective from July 29, but this bike does not repair till date. The Hero electric products are very bad, I am trying to contact with consumer forum and consumer court also. My M.No is [protected]
                      Hero E bike any models are very bad . because I am meet with around hundred of persons which is not satisfied from this product. I am suggest for Hero new customer don't purchase this stupid bike. U can save 4000/- of petrol but for purchase bty 7000/- can paid, that is loss is 3000/- and No speed and no durability, No life, Body fiber, No repair can possible, as well as no puncher can done in auto mobile service center.
                      i had purchased hero cruze electric in the month of october, due to some personal problem i cant go for services on time when i contacted to service showroon then there people said your services has been lepse. he again put a chose in front of my if you can submitt 2500/- then services can posiable but he dont explain for what i have to pay Rs 2500/- to you.

                        This is a complaint about Just Buy Cycles, Ashok Nagar in Chennai. I bought my Hero electric from them since they also provide after sales service for the vehicle.

                        Since then my service expectations were simple - week end (Sat/Sun) and less than 24 hrs (not even same day) service. But this service expectation could not be met for the past 7 months and whenever I approached them they would say our technician is not available today and it will be serviced at their own convenience.

                        Today their Chennai head Dinesh tells me that their technicians are available on all 7 days - I dont know which world he lives in. This guy also tells me that I should leave the vehicle for service and should not expect when the vehicle would be serviced and returned. Great service motto..

                        Did I buy a vehicle to park it in their service center ? With that I lost all my free services - thats fine so far because the vehicle had only minor issues like brake loosening.

                        Definitely this is not the kind of pathetic service I expected from a company like Hero. Hero has been our trusted household brand when it comes to 2 wheelers and more than that for bicycles for many generations. I dont find any service center in Chennai from www.heroelectricindia.com

                        This doesnt end here I need some way to get my vehicle serviced at my convenience even if its once in a while and Just Buy Cycles are not the right people for that.

                        Either Hero must provide me with a reasonable service alternate (or) if you cant provide service then take my vehicle back.

                        I am shinde CV from Delhi. Last 6 months I am using Hero E sprint but I am suffering problems like front disk break noise, bike cant drive in height, after all some time required to pushing bike. controller defective, body fiber quality is very poor. Presently last 5 days my bike is under repair for mahipalpur service centre. But no any solution . My daily expense is Rs 100/- due to non available of bike.After all the product is very bad. Speed is very slow after 6 month average is down. The bike service is not available in general service center. Service available only on Hero Electric service center. That is only few.

                        Hero electric bikes are being tested on us the buyer so that they can earn as well as test their bikes on us...Hero electric bikes are good for nothing, i am a dissapointed costumer tooooooooooooooo.

                        Hero Esprint — Disk brake defective last 6 months

                        My E sprint disk break not work last 6 months. and controller faulty after 3 months by purchasing date. The product is very bad and not get consumer support. Till date my disk break faulty.
                        I have purchased a hero electric Bike, model Wav DX, (Colour- Silver; CH No: HJ 21601; Motor No. HJ 901713; Contr. No. HJ[protected]; Bat. No.[protected] from Mukherjee e-Tech Enterprises via tax invoice no. MEE/20/11-12 dt.12.05.2010. The problems I faced are as follows;-

                        1.After single full charge battery is running only 30-35 km.
                        2.Sometimes the bike gives some forward jerk and continues in a hammering manner and the bike doesn't moves. It has been complained within one month and it has been told by them that now it is O.K. But in vain. It happened in third week of October. Ther technician took the book and didn't returned till date.

                        I purchased a new hero electric Optima plus on 21oct 2012 from chawla motors Agra and after only one month it is started giving the mileage of only 30 to 35 km after full charge. I lodge a complaint on HERO E-HELP DESK number ([protected]) and after one week i got a call from the dealer. He told me to send the batteries at his showroom. I did the same and after one week i got the response from the mechanic that the batteries are OK, and you can take it back.. MY QUESTION IS that if the batteries are OK then why it is giving me the mileage of only 30km.
                        Kindly help me and replace the batteries as soon as possible.

                          Here is a concern from my end, I bought Zion on auspicious day of Diwali (Invoice Number RA/964 Dated 05/11/2010 in the name of Mr. S K Johri) for my father from your (No Longer Dealer “Reliance Automobiles”), who gave us faulty Zion which I came to know today from your Good Dealer “Baba Motors”, who told that 1 of the 4 batteries was dead due to which all the other 3 batteries got deteriorated and now our whole 4 batteries would be changed (Complaint Number HECD13).

                          My question is:

                           Why was the faulty Zion given to us?

                           My father has to drag the Zion every now and then which causes a lot of pain to him in his old age (I bought it for his comfort and not for such pain and humiliation) – Who would compensate for that?

                          Request yours intervention in the matter and get the replacement of correct batteries duly checked expedited and save my father from the pain which he is going on.

                              Sub : Complaint for Batteries on my Electric Bike, Model Hero electric Optima Plus.
                              Sir,
                              I am purchasing this e-bike, model optima plus on last year 9th July 2009. But, the Batteries were too bad condition. I don’t have any idea for this bike. But, Shop owner said and marketing me, that’s all. After, 3 months bike will going very slowly and complaint to shop owner and 1st service also taking. Owner said I complaint the manufacturer. Please wait I replace the batteries. But, I am not get the batteries, and bike condition also very poor. Full charge I am taking only just 15 km. By cycle can cross my bike slowly.

                              Please replace the batteries. This is my humble request. I am not satisfied for purchasing to this bike.

                                In the month of October, 2009, I had purchased a battery bike in Kolkata from one the authorized Hero dealers and the vehicle came in with a warranty of 1 year. But quite unfortunately, within months of purchasing the same I started facing numerous problems with the electric scooty of Hero company. Tyre punctures, faulty controller device, problems with brakes, horns, headlights and rear lights are some of the most common issues and add to this the harassment of the bike owner!!

                                Just some days back while I was on my way back home, all of a sudden I found the speedometer displaying a speed of 35km; the accelerator stopped working and once again I had to face harassment in the busy Kolkata traffic. Although I am still within my warranty period, but I had to spend Rs. 500 to bring that bike back home. Yes, one other piece of information, the dealer from whom I purchased the bike had shut down his shop and all services and is all hands-up. Ever since then I have been calling up people and service centers for the same and now I am being informed that I'll have to carry the bike to the service center, which is another 7 kms from my place of residence, and that too with my OWN CONVEYANCE COST.

                                Some months back also I had to repair a disturbing sound that costed me rs. 400/ - in spite of being within my warranty period.

                                Looking forward to your co-operation in this respect.

                                  I am an user of HERO WAVE DX . I purchased it from your dealer 5351 ( SUR ENTERPRISES, CHANDANNAGAR, HOOGHLY, 712136 on 29th August 2009. My bike holdings Frame Serial No. 21465, Motor Serial No. 901425 and Batter Serial No. 150289 – 292. At the first drive after full charge I found it runs 42 km./ full charge and a crack in the rear wheel cover .I complained for this, at the dealer they checked it and confirmed that it was really happened and one your engineer also came here and checked and told me that he is ordering of a cover as soon as it received it will be replaced and about the battery he told me that this is very new as more as you use this the battery will work fully. But actually it is not happened now the battery become more week it runs 34 km./ full charge. In the mean while when the 2nd service had come I found the left brake switch is out of order. Your engineer checked it and removed the switch but not replaced. Again he told me that he is ordering for a new switch; as soon as it received it will be replaced. In the 3rd service the battery charger became out of order then the dealer told me that when our engineer will come they will in form about this. After 6 months they phone me and told me to bring the bike at their showroom, I brought the bike by a trolley to the showroom. They kept it and told me that next week they will return my bike after solving all problems. After two weeks they phone me again and told me to return the my bike with out any solve. They told that they can’t do anything because their engineer is very busy he can’t come. What does it mean? My bike is still left at the dealers office. It is already three months over.

                                  Dear Mr. Pranav,

                                  With respect to your complaint regarding the problems with your Hero Electric Maxi bike and negligence at our after sales service, we want to clarify that as per warranty rules, if any part (falling under warranty terms) of the bike is tampered at your end the warranty is lapsed. Post examining your bike, it was found that you have tried to do many experiments with the vehicle parts and added an external battery to it. Also, the wires of the controller (the most important part of an electric bike) were found intentionally cut. This makes your controller run out of warranty and the same was communicated to you as well. In return, our company’s service engineer who contacted your representative to resolve your problem was abused and threatened by him. Your complaints are completely false and as a result its maligning company’s reputation.
                                  It is advised you can get your controller replaced at our service station at the applicable cost.

                                  Hello my name is Srivatsa Srinivasan from Bangalore, I purchased Hero Electric Maxi vehicle on 1st Nov 2015 from a dealer called Tusha Motors. They promised that the vehicle will run at least 40-50 Kms per charging. but Initially the vehicle used to run about 25 Kms per charging and later it gradually came down to less than 5 Kms per charging.

                                  Now about 10 days back the charging became completely zero and it was never getting powered on, we called mechanic on payable basis who came checked and informed that all the batteries are bulged and can not work any more, When we contacted Tusha Motors, they refused to provide warranty saying that it is applicable only for 8 months from the date of Purchase. This is a big way of cheating by both Hero Electric company and Tusha Motors jointly.

                                  One they never gave any proper guidance at the time of purchase, nor they gave any service to the vehicle. now they are asking us to purchase new batteries at a cost of Rs.12, 600/- (with some nominal discount). I advise please do not purchase this vehicle from both cheating company and cheating dealer point.

                                  please let me know the details of consumer forum (court ) to file a suit against both company and dealer.

                                    Act of omission/cheating to customer leading to fatal accident
                                    Sir,
                                    I have purchased the above said vehicle from your dealer at Chattarpur on his verbal commitment that he will repair and service the vehicle from the sales outlet itself as his boys go to the service sender every day. Only thing needed is to leave the vehicle with him one day in advance and pickup a day after. This was quite suiting to me as this was to be used by my son who is studying in senior secondary school. He got the sales done with a laughing face but shown a souring face when it came to delivering the promise.
                                    1. At least 4 times he refused to accept the vehicle narrating various reasons. Finally he accepted the vehicle on my reminding him of the commitment. So we could not get the first servicing done in time.
                                    2. He returned the vehicle after a week with great pressure. But without the charger.
                                    3. After three four rounds we got a charger of different model and old/repaired.
                                    4. He has exchanged the charger with an old one( not the same serial no or model which was given)
                                    5. On reporting the mismatch he again asks to go to Mahipalpur and finally told that the charger returned is the charger given for servicing.
                                    6. Two of the service coupons are removed with one having data written without seal, and the other totally blank
                                    7. There are no entries on the service/ maintenance records.
                                    All the above would have been fine if the vehicle had worked fine to my kid.
                                    1. On 28 Jan 2010 my son took out the vehicle to proceed for his tuition. Within a span of 500 meters he met with a fatal accident on a vacant road after a gutter. He broke his left leg. He was narrating that the front wheel was wobbling tremendously and he lost control. As he was not touching the vehicle even after getting cured, I was getting more sceptical about the present generation for their negligence to free facilities.
                                    2. I checked up the vehicle on 28th of Feb. as it was my Rs.25000/- which was draining out
                                    3. To my surprise the vehicle came out from service had a serious problem. The front wheel wobbles heavily on hitting a small stone or a gutter. It vibrates in such a speed that the balance will be lost if a sudden break is put.
                                    There is definitely a defect in material and workmanship amounting to fatal accident/death.
                                    1. There is all the possibility that some parts are cannibalised with old/defective ones.
                                    2. The front shock absorber seems to be not working
                                    3. No serving is done by a service centre rather than collecting the coupons
                                    4. No quality measures in service centre
                                    God has saved the life of my son. Hero electric team tried to kill him. My son has to be cautious throughout his life with his broken knee.
                                    Who is responsible for the medical bills and the sufferings we had?

                                      My daughter Farha Tarannum purchased a Hero electric optima plus,
                                      against bill no.863, dt ,16/05/2009,receipt no.1070 from
                                      B-13/3,Asafali road,New Delhi-110002,tel:23250139.It had been taken
                                      for all the services required,according to the given time table but
                                      the service/Maintenance Record page had never been filled by the
                                      authority at service centre.On 3rd service even the coupon had not
                                      been filled.
                                      After 6 months in early November09, the vehicle stopped abruptly and
                                      carried to the workshop.The attend told us that wiring is short
                                      circuited and melted, you have over roded it and I have corrected the
                                      wiring.After that it is stopping every time.Some one in the workshop
                                      suggested that its overload switch is not working and we ask them to
                                      change.They told us that the switch was not in the stock you have to
                                      come some time later.After that they are doing nothing and telling us
                                      to use the scooty without the switch.Three months have been passed in
                                      this way the vehicle is standing idle, who is responsible?We have
                                      suffered very much .Please help us.Thanks

                                        On 10th May, 2009, I detected that my Hero Maxi's battery was overheated after charging and I rushed to Siddhi Vinayak at Barola(Noida) for their support . They told me that battery is dead and needed to be replaced.
                                        My scooty was in warranty period. I handed the scooty to them and they told me to come after four days to pick up my scooty. From then it is there (today's 7th june). Whenever I called them they says that the battery has not yet come to them. I even went there several times but that was waste. I also warned them of Consumer Court, but they didn't listen.
                                        I had also talked to Mr. Bhupender, etc but he is only making fool of me and doing nothing.

                                        This battery concept is concidered by us. due to often rising petrol rate and polution.. when we are inquiring about the vehicle they response us well. salesmen also ensure us about the good service and company support. but as soon as we purchase the vehicle once they suddenly change theire attitude. this vehicle has very bad problem of tyre puncture if there is no air in tube the vehicle can not move ahead. there is no enough technical and trained staff is available. somewhere the battery checking and other realated equipment is also not avaible. sometime we have wait for parts. i.e tubes, liner, and some other small parts.. It should be make available. when battery problem is there. it is suggested to change all the batteries together. as only one or two batteries required to be change sometime. the concept of costomer and dealer/service support is not clear. and it is making lot of conflict. non technical and unexperienced worker try to make fool electrical - civil - mechanical engineers. but they are helpless to change there service centre.. BECAUSE "EVERYWHRE CROWS ARE BLACK".
                                        Hero Electric service is very bad and E Bike quality is also bad.
                                        Same with me.
                                        My father bought an electric scooty in Oct 2011.
                                        We have got lot many issues with charger, battery etc. WIth our due efforts, somehow they got our battery replaced twice and charger four times. But all of them were of worst quality and didn't last for long.
                                        Again, the new charger I got from them has busted in single use only and I am highly disappointed from their behavior, attitude and services!!!
