Himachal Road Transport Corporation [HRTC] Complaints & Reviews

I need to book a ticket from jassure to Shimla via baddi nalagarh, the bus on this route go always at about 11:30 p.m from Jassure. But online hrtc portal is not showing this. Moreover it does not show the other dropping points except the booking counter stations.
Please fix such bugs in your portal. I had also tried hrtc app but it is also not showing all the buses but only those two buses which are shown by the website.

It is being observed that at Nahan Bus Stand, M/s Ram Lal & Sons are operating a parking tender for private vehicles, Which is not as per jurisdiction, As they are blacklisted from taking the same, The owner Mr. Anil is their relative and they(M/s Ram Lal & Sons) are one of the biggest frauds in Nahan Town, They try to drag their relatives on the same which is without their knowledge. They highly malpractice all business activities at Nahan Bus Stand, charge invariable amounts from people, abuse them and also tell their parking operator to charge from Army Men and Police officials.

I would like to bring to your notice to keep a track of them as they are not having a good reputation in the town and also their business malpractices for this parking tender is subject to objection. Having personally observed this, I would urge to stop the tender ASAP and give it to someone who is well behaved and honest and respect our security personnels who serve in army and police.

I want to raise concern as I did not receive any information of bus.i had my bus booking from solan to Dehradoon on 21st Oct, and I did not get any contact number of driver/conductor not even boarding point information

This is one of the worst experience till now with HRTC
One should have provided all the information to passenger

I would have missed bus
Bus was early and did not know where it will come.

Have tried calling Shimla helpline Number
BUT NO ONE RECEIVED IT
Tried calling them multiple times
If this is your control room, then that should be available 24/7 .
As your servies are not up to mark.

Kindly acknowledge this complaint and try to resolve this as I’m having another booking too And I don’t want to face such issues

Hrtc bus no hp18B7525 rash driving in main bazar ponta sahib who is responsible for this damag kindly resolve the issue otherwise I will register complaint against hrtc in police station.
Conductor is polite but the bus drive is very rude language and attitude problem.

I have a complaint regarding your adda staff in joginder nagar. The behavior of the staff is very rude and they don't have manners to speak to others. So it's my kind request to look over them. If we want to make some pass or card etc. then they delay to much and some times they refused . The government should look over their employees .

Stop/station namely Banial Pukhar allotted by HRTC located at route in between CHANAUR- NANGAL CHOWK 20 Kms from Dehra towards Talwara route and near Dada Siba in Distt KANGRA. The fare being claimed by HRTC from Dhaliara to B/Pukhar is ₹28/- for 12 Kms which is system generated. But bus fare from Dhaliara to CHANAUR is ₹20/- for 10 Kms which requires rectification and exact bus fare to be charged from passengers. If fare from Dhaliara to CHANAUR for 10 Kms is ₹20/- then it should be ₹24/- maximum for 12 Kms from Dhaliara to B/Pukhar. There is no reasons for claiming excess amount.

I have an complaint about bus route in Chamba distt. We had only one long route bus which used to run between Chowari to Shimla via Chandigarh. Now this bus does not go to Chowari ans stops at Nurpur. Which is a big inconvenience for the people of chowari. Because after 5 PM there is no bus goes to chowari. Also a lot of people travel from chowari to chandigarh or to other placee from this route. It's a humble request to make the route to chowari.

People go to hill station for getting away from the pollution and the hrtc is polluting the environment of Himachal by not maintaining their busses, I have seen not 1 not 2 but 5 buses that have been releasing full black smoke and I note down the no. Of one bus also
Hp 68 4597, as it was the worstest of them all please maintain the engines . It's a humble request as if this goes on the environment is going to be like it is in delhi ...!!!

Sir I'm koshika bakaria student of millennium B.Ed college saru and i am complaining regarding HRTC driver bus no HP 73 8990 route from chamba to delhi this driver never stop bus at the station and always do rash driving so being a girl i need to go about 40km far to my home everyday so we get late everyday specially today 8 sep 2021 (Wednesday)at 3:50 he almost killed us
we have CCtv photage and so please take a action about him either change the driver or ask him to stop bus at station i hope you will take serious action regarding this.

Sir, I am a frequent traveller from Chandigarh to nahan, today morning I was standing at modern housing chowk Chandigarh for going to nahan. At 7.15am Himachal roadways bus from Manali to Haridwar did not stop at housing board chowk, Chandigarh despite having half the seats vacant. Please instruct your bus drivers to stop the bus at the stops for passengers.

I am in this bus but what happens it is not on time . First they stopped the bus at ranital for so long and now the bus is stopped at lanj .. and they both are not in the bus why is this happening . Bus should have a proper time of stoppage to stop .

I am Col Anshul Shukla, SC, hail from palampur himachal pradesh and was on leave in himachal. On termination of my leave I had booked a Volvo Bus Service No 96 on 29th Aug 2021 from Dharamshala to Chandigarh. The ticket of the same is as attached to the email.

When I reported to the bus stand at Dharamshala at 0445h on 29th Aug, I was informed that the bus service No 96 from Dharamshala to Chandigarh has been cancelled today. I had to search for another bus to rejoin my duty. howver when i was cancelling my ticket, it was being shown that the ticket is not eligible for cancellation. The screen shot is as attached.

I had not cancelled the ticket and intended to carry out the journey however the bus itself got cancelled for that day. Hence may i kindly request you to arrange to issue refund of the cancelled bus service on 29th Aug Bus service No 96. The tickets and other necy proofs are as attached to this email.

May I kindly request you to do the needful pls, my email to your helpline as listed, has generated no response.

Yesterday I caught the bus 6:15 PM for paonta from dehradun.
The bus driver was driving so dirty its intision seen it whatever passenger is walking in bus on it fall.
Is paonta plain road from dehra. Still he was having so much emergency break that there was problem in sit also.
My wife and my son also fallen on this bus still this driver and conductor no matter yet tried not to stop bus And use the least emergency break.

He drives the bus by tossing over the mustaches only to understand how much I am good driver.
Please take this type of behaviour and take strictly action

Sir this is 11 pm at night and there are two hrctc buses headed to Shimla bus no. H.P. 10A 9669 AND HP 38D 0225 both these buses are mostly empty but are not issuing tickets to Kalka. They are also very rude and are not providing any explanation for their action. This is night time and kalka is on there bus route still they are declining to take any passengers to kalka. I urge the authorities to take strict action against them or i will be forced to take up this issue with even higher authorities.
