I am a employee in education department. i am travelling daily in hrtc bus. my one side fare is 38 rs so i gave 40 rs but conductor did not return 2rs in this way morning and evening they put 4 rs in his pocket. this did not happen only with me but with many passanger. if they take 4 rs daily in one passanger then you think they collect how much money in this way and down the image of hrtc in other state passanger who are travelling in hrtc buses. please take a necessary action.

    Mam/sir,

    Sub: malfunctioning brakes due to improper maintenance and careless authorities.

    I had boarded an hrtc chamunda-rohru bus from theog on 11.7.2016 which was heavily overloaded because no other buses to my destination kotkhai had arrived for 2 hours.
    The bus departed from theog at 6 pm but reached chhaila at 8 pm eventhough the distance is just 15km downhill.
    Many passengers started arguing with the driver and conductor, but many supported them (including me). the reason i supported them was that i knew that the bus was running with "defected brakes" and was overloaded.

    I am complaining on behalf of the passengers and the citizens of the state capital.
    Why is the maintenance of the hrtc buses not looked upon?
    *non frequent buses
    *malfunctioning brakes
    *malfunctioning door handles
    Who is responsible to utilize the funds sent for the maintenance of buses?

    I am a proud traveller of hrtc, a bus service which has conquered the roads from speedy highways of plains to dangerous slopes of kinnaur but serious mistakes like these need to be checked.

      I am traveling with my friends from masheran to tapoun on sarkaghat to colny route on 30-jun-2016. and i asked conductor for two ticket. he took 10rupees and gave 4.00 -4.00 rupees two ticket, total 8.00rupees then i asked for remaining balance two rupees. then conductor mr, hukam chand reply this ticket value is 6.00 not four rupees. then i told take full money but give me ticket and i gave 10.00rupees and asked for balance 8.00 rupees then conductor reply i don't have "change of 8.00 rupees and start showing anger and doing misbehaved.
      So i have request to you please take appropriate action against him.

        I boarded hrtc volvo bearing regn. No. Hp 63 7557 on 26 june, 2016 leaving hamirpur at 9.20pm. I was allotted sear no.12. Water from top of the roof started on my head as well as on the body all the way from bhota to delhi as result i could not have a wink of sleep the whole night. The bus was totally packed and no seat was available. The matter was reported to the conductor. Now i am feeling high temperature and severe headache. The whole body is paining me very badly.

        I paid rs.1000/- for the ticket. I would like to file a legal case after recovering from illness.

        The above is submitted for your information and taking necessary action.In the meantime, it is requested to repair the bus which is standing in delhi and the same bus has to leave for shimla in the evening as told by the conductor and passenger who has been allotted seat no.12, may have to face with the same problem. The staff of volvo is well behaved and polite.

          Pathetic and a nightmare experience with Himachal Road Transport Corporation HRTC, Himsuta A/C(Volvo). At 2:00 PM it started from Manali and it directly stopped for dinner at 10:30 PM at Swaar Ghat HRTC office. Upon asking the conductor they refused to stop the bus for refreshment as due to their own mistake it was running late. It stopped for nearly all small places for fuel refilling, passenger boarding points. An elderly passenger was on board who was not well and was struggling hard to beg the driver to stop the bus for urination. Upon repeatedly requesting the driver stooped at the middle of the highway and asked the passenger to take break for toilet. No woman could afford to get down as it was all open roadway.
          No blankets were provided and the Video player was not working.
          Upon reaching the HRTC breakout point after nearly 8.5 Hrs of ravel at our service was only the predefined buffet menu option .Fixed price (i.e. 140Rs PP). Food was pathetic. Even if you have a kid you need to get a coupon for Rs 140 for a single plate.The bus final reached the destination( Delhi ISBT) 2:30 mins late the usual ETA. Overall a pathetic experience. Please please dont you ever use HRTC service specially the (time of departure 2:15 PM from Manali). There are much better private operators with lesser fares for Manali-Delhi en route.

            Sir, I have reserved ticket no. [protected] and 2052 for four seats from Delhi to bhunter for outward journey on 13.06.2016 of 08 pm Volvo bus. I reached there one hour early before scduled time. The person on counter no. 21 gave me us no. 5844. I waited there till 08 pm repeatedlyasking the counter person for bus no. 5844 but it didn't, come . I again asked the person then he informed that bus no. Given was wrong and the correct bus no was 5744 and the bus has left Delhi for bhunter. I argued with the person for wrong information. Then he suggested me another bus no.2205 and insisted that the two buses will meet on the way and the bus may be changed then. But to my dismay the two buses never met and the bus no. 2205 deborded me at Chandigarh suggesting that you may contact at Hprtc enquirer counter for the bus where I was informed that there was strike in Ho roadways for two days and no bus is avalaible for the destination. When there was no positive response I was mentally upset and decided to return Delhi and returned . You are requested to look into the matter and return my fare money for reserved tickets and return journey from Chandigarh to Delhi.

              I have a complaint about the hrtc chamba.
              I have booked a ticket accourding to the delux bus as i have a patient along with me and when i reached to the isbt 43 sector for taking the bus for chamba. But they have told us on 6 p. M that no delux bus is available and an ordinary bus is provided.
              This is the second time i have faced this problem. You should inform before doing this. And what we have sufferd today and experienced a worst travel. The hrtc chamba is not upto the mark.
              You should improve these things and if you are not able to give a proper facility then you must withdraw the delux bus facility from chandigarh.
              Even i was not able to wait for another way to reach home and i have booked a ticket online and will able to get refund of the same

                This is to bring notice that the himachal road transport corporation employe of bus no hp 69a 1588 from chandigarh to mandi. I have to travel from chandigarh to bilaspur. I demand the ticket from conductor of bilaspur station. He told me that the seat is not availiable. In front of me he gave tickets to the passengers of the mandi and destionation station. Then i told him regarding this how you can do this i[censored] have seats availiable with you you cant refuse to the passengers for tickets for station in the way from chandigarh to mandi. Then he misbehaved with me on counter no 19 at isbt 43, chandigarh. I told him where is the mentioned in your rule book you cant offer the tickets to passengers other than destination point. This bahaviour of hrtc is really unacceaptable. This just to bring notice that please give warnings to that type of conductors who are misbehaving with passengers and refusing tickets to them. Hope you will take strict action against them and save passengers from harresments. Will be very thankful to you.

                  I have sent five time mail on email id support.[protected]@hp.Gov.In, but response is blank from your site, please do required correction in your server and let me know about your process about below ticket id.

                  I have booked ticket from delhi isbt kashmiri gate to arki for 22/02/2016 through internet as the ticket id [protected].

                  But this amout refunded msg i have not received till today pls check.

                  And please let me know when the ticket amount will be refunded to me.

                    I was overcharged on purchasing ticket from Chandigarh to niyari on the bus route Haridwar to Chamba on 8 march, 2016 at the Chandigarh HRTC counter. I asked for 2.5 tickets from Chandigarh To Indoragharat but was billed till niyari which is just 2 kms away for Rs 756. But on my way back on 11th march I boarded the same bus on the same route i was charged Rs 709.The bus belongs to Chamba Depot and Departs from Chandigarh at 10 pm and from Indoragharat at 7:15 pm.

                        On Route No 924 Dharamshala to Ludhiana 10:30AM. I have reserved my seat 7 days before my journey I do so many times coz I have to travel a 2 times in a month atleast but problem is that wen I board in Kangra for Ludhiana Conductor already HV been issued to my seat which was reserved to other passenger who is traveling from Dharamshala without confirming the reservation seat. This situation arise with me 5 times which is not good. So educate your Conductor or remove online reservation if you do not provide the reserved seat for passenger.

                          Very sad to write this but no other option to put forward, I have traveled from Delhi to Joginder Nagar on 21 Jan 2016 with semi deluxe bus (18:20 hrs) while traveling it's got stop before Una and every one has to shift in another bus which was ordinary and was one station before from Joginder Nagar which is baijnath and I have to take another bus from there and I have paid for ticket that was one part I was thinking sometime it can happen but while coming from same bus on 3rd Feb 2016, journey has started nicely but same happen after crossing chandigarh and again we have to wait around 30 min and then we got ordinary bus which was very inconvenience it's very difficult to shift with luggage @ 1:00 am it's too chilled outside but what we can do no other option it's shows that hrct is running as "Ram Bharose".
                          Take some serious steps on it otherwise there will be no reliability on hrtc which is known as one of best by its services.

                            I request the concerned authorities to kindly provide dustbins inside the buses, atleast small or medium size so that garbage accumulated during the journey such as tickets and wrappers etc can be thrown at the right place immediately.                               Bus number HP ^^ 8370 TATA AC Manali Chandigarh reaching sundernagar around 11:30 PM did not picked up the travellers whose tickets were already booked . they lied and told that bus is coming from back when in actual no bus was there . Our money was wasted and had too wait for a fake bus until 1:30 AM . where there were three girls candidate . Where one girl was mentally unfit also . it has caused us so much harm mentally as well physically . It felt like an harassment .Dated 20th january 2016 .

                                Dear Sir/Mam I just want to bring this issue of reckless driving by one of the HRTC bus driver on bus number-HP663485 from Pathankot to Kullu route. This incident took place on 29th December 10:15 am when i was traveling with my wife and newborn baby to Palampur in my car. I was being honked by this driver so many time as i was driving slow because of baby on board. I gave him pass and let him go as he was rushing and in a hurry. Later on he was again behind our car as he was stopping and dropping the passenger. This time again he honked knowingly that their is a baby in the car next to him. He tried to overtake my car on a narrow road when there was a turn and vehicle coming from opposite side. I have to take my car off the road to save my family and car. I was scared and annoyed too. I overtook and parked my car any went to talk to him that the way he is driving can lead to an accident or incident, but it was in vain as he was never ready to accept that he was in fault. I never wanted to argue as i was with family and was going to hospital for checkup however he yelled at the top of his lungs and was accompanied by co-pilot and few passengers so it became a controversy and they were all ready to hurt me and my family. It gave the driver a wrong sort of motivation and he jumped out of his seat and challenged me for a fist fight instead of accepting his mistake. I just wanted to make him realise that he doesn't have the right to jeopardize the safety of the fellow riders and their families and also he can not drop off the passenger Wherever he wants instead of the designated bus stops as it causes inconvenience to others and also poses a threat to those who are getting off the bus. Rules are meant to be followed but this guy has already humiliated the system and when somebody raised their voice against it all he had to offer was A FIGHT endangering me and my family. I would request you to take strict action against him. Hope that you would ensure that your drivers drive the bus carefully & responsibly and not like a racetrack. I would also want to know that what action has been taken against him. Waiting for a swift revert. Thanks. Rohan Verma

                                  Dear sir, With respect to the captioned subject I travelled to Delhi on 24 dec 2015 through Volvo from hamirpur to Delhi via amb naudan my seat no is 1 & 2. Bus no HP 63 5317. We oftenly travel through your Volvo experience was good. But this time it was pathetic as we travel by Volvo Ac for comfortable experience but at night there is no blower/ heating. We were shivering not we but the whole passenger because heater is not working. We talked to the staff but they r saying it is working but it wasn't. One of the guy complained to DM also.outside it is showing 8 degree then inside it is showing 9degree. Sir I want to ask why we spend money for Volvo if it so then we can travel through ordinary bus with blankets. We travel for comfortable experience. Pls look into this . If I didn't got the satisfactory reply from ur bosses and solution for the other passengers I will sue u. Its not a matter of spending but rather pinching wastage of money.                                     Hi... I'm traveling from Delhi to Jwalamukhi while writing my complaint to u about my worst experience in Volvo bus service till date..
                                    Dis Volvo is of Dharamshala depot route 81, bus no.1317 departed from Delhi @ 0720 pm..
                                    First conductor of d bus allowed a man inside d bus who is under d influence of alcohol.. After some tym he started spiting all around inside d bus.. When protested by passengers.. Conductor said we'll see him if he repeated it again.. I think job of d conductor was to hand him over to police Not to wait fr smthng bad to happen..
                                    Second point we were offered with a complimentary water bottle (1/2 ltr instead of 1 ltr which we used to get earlier) well when after smtym I asked one more water bottle.. Which he refused on d ground DAT you'll gt only 1/2 ltr bottle fr a journey.. Just imagine guys.. Half ltr fr an adult n dat too fr a jrny which lasted more than 9 hrs.. What fr hrtc is taking so much money on d ground of facilities of Volvo when dey can Nt even provide1 ltr water.. N in case of water capacity per passenger, if it is really half ltr dn I think Dis matter shud b discussed on legal platform..
                                    Last point... Mosquitoes... Yes in Volvo... Face it hrtc...
                                    Dis is d reality...
                                    Do somthing fr my complaints.. N Dnt worry I'll provide ur conductor an extra water bottle from my hard earned mny so DAT he Dnt HV to say again "pani nhi milega or".. Come on pani k liye b Rona pdega Kya ab?

                                      I have travelled by HRTC, Nalagarh Unit bus on 25th and 28th October, 2015 for which the fare has been charged at different rates from Chakkar(Shimla) to Kunihar as per details given below:
                                      1.Dt.25.10.15 Tick No.00084388 at 06.59AM Rs.40.00 (on green card)
                                      2.Dt.28.19.15 Tick No.002630 at 12.59PM Rs.85.00 (1 green card+ 1 ladies)
                                      [tickets copy attached] Will you please clarify the fares charged at different rates for the journeys performed within 3 days. If the fares are revised a copy of the notification may be attached with the reply. The booking office at Kunihar could not clarify the position for fares being charged at different rates.

                                        I am travelling from delhi to shimla. Bus no 6180. It starts at 2300 from delhi. Driver is contineosly listening loud music in the bus. I am trying to sleep after a long day but he is busy in his enjoy. I requested to slow down the music but he said very rudely go and sleep. I want to ask bus service is for us or him. I want back my money and a legal actio against him.
