I had booked for replacement of domestic gas (LPG) cylinder on 5th febraury 2008. For your kind information I have only one cylinder (no duplicate cylinder). I am working women who is out of the house from 7 AM to 6 PM on all working days. I have to depend on someone to get my cylinder. A delivery came on 11th febraury 2008, on that day for some reason the door was locked. Will there not be any provision to send the cylinder delivery next following day?. I am surprised!!.
Should there not be any priority when the coustemer has only one cylinder?
Since then I have been calling the agency every day but not received the cylinder till today. What is the solution? How many phone calls should I make in my office hours? How many times should I request the agents to send the cylinder at the ealiest. However they promise that it will be sent today. But when I reach home It is not there. Is it not irritating?
Most of the times I get my cylinder after 10-15 days. But this time it is too much.

HP Gas — Delay in Replacement Cylinder

I had booked a refill cylinder on 15.12.07 (Consumer No. - 602947) with the HP Gas Coimbatore Distributor - Rukmani Gas Agency - Distributor Code - 466230.

The stand-by gas is on the verge of finishing- does the distributor expect us to stop cooking at home, for not getting the replacement cylinder in time.

The Distributor does not bother to answer the call. By chance if the lady receives the call she replies so rudely, I feel I must stop taking a HP Gas and shift to another brand - Indane.

HP Gas Cylinder — Delay of replacement / supply of gas

invariably, replacement of Gas cylinder takes about 7 days or more.
Staff at Rashmi Gas, are very rude & hardly attends tel call. Please confirm what is the present status of gas supply in western suburb
of Mumbai & in locality of vile Parle/ Andheri west.

H P Gas — Delay in Supply

At the time of booking for refilling of cylender they told that within 10 days gas will be delivered. It is already 21 days passed . When I remind them their reply is the area delivery boy is not coming. It will take time otherwise you come and collect the cylender. But the office is 2 kms from our residence and the godowon of the gas company is another 2 kms. I have to spent 1/2 day to take the delivery with an amount Rs.150/- for auto expenditure. Since 3 months they are not giving the delivery in time. This is the 3rd time. When I worn them to complain your head office also they did not care.. What to do.

Respected sir It is brought to your kind notice that some HP GAS OFFICERs are dedly against public of patran sub division.Beacause the public of patran so many times written complaints against them and their corruption so many times I write to you against them. But they never care your advice and contineously harasing to the public by reducing gas suply of patran agency.There are about 23000 twenty three thousends conection and only one gas agency.If HP gas company failed to give proper suplly.     Black markting of Gas ( Hindustan petrolium - In jalesar Branch)

    I AM DHIRAJ from Town JALESAR Distt EtahU.P. My parents are senior citizen . but they are facing a big problem for gas. The Manager of jalesar branch is so crupted and most of couta of gas has been distibuted among people as black marketing of gas. So any one can take a first step towords it? i had a word with manager named Mr. Prem chand and his assocites but they peoples are very missbehaved persone and they have no way of taking to older persons. so Please can you take any action about it...

    I am consumer of HP Gas and my consumer number is 613243
    Despite of booking gas on helpline no.12665 and withbthe fact that I have received booking number, when contacted the local agency they are not considering or recognising the aforesaid booking.

    I also face booking problems with the local agency that they dont take booking before end of 15 days of the delivery of the cylinder.( if I have booked cylynder on 1st of February the same will be deliverd late ie by 6th February and next booking will be taken after completion of 15 days from the the date of delivery)

    Kindly help in this matter

      I had made a request for gas cylinder booking about 10 days back, against Consumer No.: 643289 (Badal Gas Agency, Vashi Navi Mumbai). It has not yet delivered, and we are facing lot of problems since last 4~5 days. Now even the phone numbers[protected] &[protected], provided by them are not working.
      We have come to know that the HP Gas delaer is giving gas to
      private parties like hotels by giving extra money.
      I had made a request for gas cylinder booking about 15 days back, against Consumer No.: 632858 (Badal Gas Agency, Vashi Navi Mumbai). It has not yet delivered, and we are facing lot of problems since last 4~5 days. Now even the phone numbers[protected] &[protected], provided by the agency are not working.
      May I expect some help in this regard.

      My complaint is the gas supplied is leaking and we are able to here voice of leakage of gas.

      This is really very serious problem. Need an exchange of the gas cylinder.

      It has been last 12 yrs we have no problems with the Badal Services but since last 3 years we are facing the non delivery of gas cylinder problems as the calls are also not been attended n they make invaluable reasons such as gas cylinder has not been dispatched by the HP people at their end, shortage of gas cylinders, etc... Which is creating unnecessary n unwanted problems at home. Today, the gas had been finished n tomorrow is Sunday so what to we do now?????? In last month i.e., July I have collected the gas cylinder from Badal Agency which is costing too much as an auto drivers are charging high n thereafter I have to take half day leave which is not valid. As a professional dealer you must provide the good n sufficient services to the Customers.

        On 08.02.2008 my wife gave call from landline 6505311 to Ramlata Gas Agency, Shop No. 3, Ma-Krupa Building, Shimpoli, Near Gokhale High School, Borivali West Mumbai -92 on their landline no.28989757 for booking one refil of LPG cylinders. On specifically asking from the token number against booking of cylinder purposely the phone was disconnected. After a long wait of one week we again called the said agency on 15th, 19th and 22nd Feb2008 however in vain. The common replies were `Appka card special case mein nikala hai aur aaj cylinder ki delivery ho jayegi. Even all our neighbours are facing the similar harassment from this agency. The fact is than the genuine consumer who books the cylinder does not get the same on time and there is under the table transactions demanding extra money from the people in urgency which is between delivery boys and staff members at agencies.

        This has happened third time with us which is not at all expected from Corporation like Hindustan Petroleum.

        We need your help to take up this matter with said agency and want justification in writing from them. If this also does not work we will be loding a procedural police complaint against HP and their agency above for such lapses.

            DELAY IN TRANSFER THE GAS AS WELL AS DELAY IN DELIVERY

            I WANT TO TRANSFER MY GAS FROM NERUL( 27 JAN 2008) TO VASHI BUT THE AGENCY OF HP GAS VASHI IS NOT READY TO ACCEPT IT AND POSTPONDING IT & TOLD THE PROBLEM OF INTERNET IS NOT WORKING. IT TAKES TO TRANSFER 3 WEEKS(ON 18 FEB 2008). HARDLY IT IS MATTER OF 2 MINUTES TO TRANSFER. I THINK HIS GAS DELIVERY IS ALSO LATE....

            This is P.Suryanarayana is one of your Customer. Last 6years i was worked in Vizag. Recently iwas transfer to Vijayawada for this i was transferd my Gas account as for your processer. Here again i was transfer to Hyderabad so today i had met to your people Ms.Hema Gas Company,Do. 1-4/7-32, Kamakotinagar, Vidyadharapuram, Vza-12.

            But your people are not respond proper way. What they are saying i am not his customer only vizag customer. if any doubts i have to contact vizag or Hyd. Now iam in ideal position. They are behaving un professionally. Kindly give the solution my account with in one day from this mail dated.               Presently the booking for refilling of a domestic gas cylinder is being done after 21 days of supply and I have booked for it on 22nd December 2007. Today is 17th January '08, 26 more days have passed, but still the supply has not yet been made to me. Usually a cylinder lasts about a month for me and I have only two cylinders, which is permissible limit for domestic supply. I have no gas for last ten days and one can guess with kind of trouble I am going through now. I have request several times the local agent, Laxmi gas, and the the sales engineer of HP at Jamshedpur, Mr.Jha, but all have gone in vain. I do not know what shall I do now? I am desparately looking for some help and suggestion. My consumer No. is 1346, and the local agent of HP is "Laxmi Gas", at New Baradwari, Jamshedpur.

              HP LPG Gas — Difficult to get refill cylinders

              I am a consumer of HP Gas through SAVITA GAS AGENCY, Chennai (phone [protected], [protected], [protected]). My consumer no is 614625. I booked for refill of gas on 11/12/07 and till today (4/1/08) I have not received it. For past one week i have been calling them and they say today they will send, today they will send. God knows when that today will come. Sometimes the staff at SAVITA GAS AGENCY dont even listen to the query and hang the phone in the middle of a conversation. Most of the times their phone would be either busy or nobody would receive the call. Their attitude towards the customers is also not up to mark. It is nearing almost a month since the date of my booking. Does it take such a long time to get a cylinder refilled. Can anybody tell me whom should i go and complain against these people.
              Presently the booking for refilling of a domestic gas cylinder is being done after 22 days of supply and I have booked for it on 18 january 2008. My consumer No. is 602948, and the local agent of HP is "anukkhan fuel service", at 6,avenue 1st road santoshpur (jadavpur ) kolkata-700075.They are also selling forceibly burner pipe at abnormal higher rate saying that" OTHERWISE SUPPLY OF CYLINDER WILL BE STOPPED".

              We are permitted by Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board Jammu and Kashmir under the Chairman Ship of Honable Governer to organise the free langar at Pahalgaon Nonuvan Base Camp for about two months every year.We are organising langar at this site from the last 15 years.We are using HP GAS from the last 15 years for prepairing food for pilgrims for free distribution.This is a free langar and we are not charging even a single paisa for food from any one.
              Sir the problems we are facing are:
              1. We are presserised by your Gas Agency of Pahalgaon to purchase commercial cylander for prepairing food which is for free distribution.
              2. When we are going to your gas agency for purchasing gas cylander they forwarded us to collect gas cylander from godown and charging full amount which is included cartridge.As per rule they are not allowed to charge cartridge when we are personnally collect gas cylander from the godown of gas company.
              Last year we were send email to you about the same problems which was solved by you with your kind leadership.But this year same problem occured.
              kindly look into the matter personnaly and do the needfull.

              The GAS Service in India is Disgusting all b'coz of Corruption, whether this is Indane or HP.
              1. Civiv Sense -> They people don't know how to behave with consumer, Gas company must train their people for civic sense, to change their behaviour and attitude towards customer.
              2. Gas Black - the Easiset way to get the gas to spend extra money, Corruption Corruption everywhere. You know this is just a drama to show the gas shortage but gas shortage is all b'coz of black marketing of LPG Gas.
              3. Less Gas -> Everytime you will never find refill has correct quantity of gas, it's always less...

              I don't know where is our India is Going,
              Problem, Problem Everywhere -->Gas, Traffic Jam, Dust Pollution b'coz of Bad Road, Fake Currency, No Secure Feeling b'coz you will never know when a bomb will take your life away, Aur bhi bahut kuch...

While I went on 14th August 2008, they told that you did not book and it will come after 7 days. Even after 14 days when I caontact the telephone nos.[protected], 24048864, 24054433, [protected] the answers are coming like this way., which are given below:
              > The number you have called is switched off, please trye later.
              > All routes are busy, please try after some time.
              > The Subscriber is still busy
              > Network busy.
              In the above circumstances, what shall I do ? Because I'm ahaving single LPG Cylinder only. They don't allow for extra cylinder also.
              As per your Value Added Service :
              > Immediate release of new Connections
              > 8 am. to 8 pm. deliveries all 7 days of the week.

              But the above services are not providing at Samatha Shakti LPG Kothapet, Hyderabad

              Hence, I request your goodself to kindly look into the matter and take necessary steps to avoid undue harrasment to the customers.

              Presently the booking for refilling of a domestic gas cylinder is being done after 30 days of supply and I have booked for it on 25 nov 2008. Today is 8th nov '08, 15 more days have passed, but town.when i call to agency they told that i have no person to send gas to your address so you come to our office and collect the bill and go to our stock point for recive for your gas

              I was booked HP LPG Gas for refilling on 4th Dec 2008 through landline telephone at ESKAY ENTERPRISES, Shop No. 35, 5-8-352, Raghava Ratna Towers, Chirag Ali Lane, Hyderabad- 500001, Ph. No.:[protected], 23201858 and the answer was that i will get the LPG gas cylinder within 7 days from the date of making the booking and the delay is due to the shortage in supply. When i called up on 11th Dec 2008, i get an answer that it will get it on the same day or by 12th Dec08' morning. Inspite of my repeated reminders when i din't get the gas even on 12th evening i called up again with not much of help i get the same rehearsed answer that due to the gas shortage i'll get it within some days... I book my gas once in 3 or 4 months and i get to face such a reckless behaviour from my gas agency... what should i conclude from this either they are Black marketing the gas cylinder's.. or they are not managing things properly.. i request you grant me the permission for the allotment of new connection.

                I am a consumer of HP Gas. My consumer code no. is 634866 registered under Maharashtra Gas Depot, IIT Powai. I am trying to book the cylinder for refill since last 2 weeks but always the contact number for Maharashtra Gas Depot dealer is coming Busy/Engage. Also both the numbers are all the time not responding.
                Request ypu to take some action against them on a priority basis. As this kind of service will only tend to loose consumers and provoke us to lodge the complaint in consumer forum if not attended.
                My consumer no# 809293 with Tarnaka distibutor. We had booked a cylinder around 20 days back but not yet received the cylinder. When I went there, shops seems closed and a banner says call us on given numbers. The given phone numbers are not responsive.

                I second this, this depot is pathetic in terms of its response. In most cases I am left with no option but to visit them personally, and the people there are impolite to say the least.

                They do not even honour the refill booking tele-service number of 12665. Once booked there, you would assume that the delivery will be made, but that's just an assumption.
                I am trying out the online booking - will let you know if it works. You can go ahead and try it too

                Hi,
                I wanted to complaint regarding the HP petrol pump in Hinjewadi near Mezza9. There is never gas facility available at that petrol pump. Many times it happens that I ask while filling the petrol if Air is available and they say Yes, and after filing petrol when I go near the Gas filling service, no one comes up. Upon asking again, they always give excuse like No electricity, person is not available today, gas pressure is very less, etc. These problems should have been mentioned to me prior to filling the petrol. It causes a lot of problems and this has been faced by many friends and collegues too.

                  1. News bulletin issued time to time by LPG Managers state that you can book for refill cylinder after 21 days from the date of previous issue. But Sri Devi Gas Distributers Turaiyur (Tamilnadu) - 621010 stats that you can book for refill cylinder after 35 days from the date of delivery of previous cylinder.

                  2. What is the actual rule ?

                  3. I also want to know why there is 4-5 days gap between the date of issue of refill cylinder and the actual date of delivery.

                  I totally agree with the complaint. Firstly it is very difficult to book a cylinder then follow up for delivery. the agony does not end here, then one has to see that a correct sealed proper weight of gas cylinder is delivered. The seal is always tampered one. I have an agency of faridabad Sikka enterprises. I request everyone to check following:
                  1. The seal of plastic blue color is proper.
                  2. The seal plastice seen from top is like new.
                  3. The seal has a new thread in it tied to the rim of the cylinder.
                  4. the weight of cylinder is 14.2+net weight of cylinder written on it.

                  Pl. dont beleive the weight alone since there are all sorts of exerts who would put in water under pressure to make up the removalof gas. mind you each kg of gas pinches you by 20 rs. and he makes about 30rs per kg.
                  I request someone to see that seals are such that they are really really tamper proof. there are so many cheap types of material available for seals. why cant some research organisations do something on it.
                  sir i would like to tell you that it is so disgusting that all your dealers are able to give Swift Disel car with in a week time if we pay them an amount of Rs25000/-
                  to 50000/- as premium even though the actual waiting period is about 6 months.
                  especially with Sagar & pratham .
                  if this is the case why dont you tell openly in advertisements or if this is something which is happening without your knowledge the i request you to
                  kindly investigate smartly and punish the culprit dealer or the concerned Sales Executive. since iam an insurance agent i felt to take this issue in public interest

At Lucknow I approached Raj gas service (dealer code 686930) for getting the connection. I was asked to deposit additional amount for gas lighter and rubber tubing besides the usual charges such as deposit for cylider, blue book, inspection fee, delivery fee etc. When I told him that I am having brand new gas lighter and rubber tubing and hence I am not liable to pay the cost for these two items the agency refused to give the connection. Kindly let us know whether these charges are cumpolsory for the customer to be paid for the items which he is already possessing.                     Dear Sir,
                    I am Suryakant R. Shinde, regular customer of HP Gas since 20-25 yrs. Whenever I called for cylinder booking. The representative of my gas agency always reply us that we can't book our cylinder before 17 days from previous booking & once booking is done a cylinder delivered after 2 or 3 days.And the representative not even transfer the phone line to the manage. Every time they says that the manager is busy. He not even take our complaint.
                    Is this the rule that the customer has to book a new cylinder after 17 days of previous booking for single cylinder holder??????

Several time I tried to contact my agency over phone[protected] &[protected] but nobody is picking the phone then I personally gone to the Agency (M/S Noble Traders, Delhi, Raja Garden) on 11/11/09 but they started argue and said it will take another 2-3 days to deliver.

                    Sorry to say but we are facing lots of problem due to this type of services.

                    The Roop gas Service in Sector-20, Panchkula, never picks the call for booking of LPG cylinder, this is too much inconvenient to go without LPG for more than a month as household things cannot be accomplished without its consumption. And this attitude of Roop Gas Service employees is very much annoying..Kindly take some action for the same as soon as possible as it is an extreme blemish on the name of your company and if this continues further we will be compeeled to switch over to other service, to avoid all such hassles, it is a kind request to you to look for the same.

                    This complain is basically for delaying of gas cylender. After booking the gas, distributor everytime delay it by 20 - 25 days, we have to call them 5 to 6 times, and they never give the exact day, and talks to customer in very rudely way. Then, we have to go to their office and request them. And also there is no shortage of gas cylenders from your side but then also there is delaying in supply of gas. And we alone are not facing this problem, there are several other families in our locality who are facing this problem.
                    So its a humble request to you that please consider this matter seriously.

                    I am a customer of Vimal Enterprises(HP Gas ), My Name is Bhagwat and my consumer no. is 607478.
                    Initialy at the time of new connection service was good, But after every time they are delaying to despatch the refills, they are taking over more then 15days to dliver after booking and even after that we did no receive the refill.
                    Can you clearify that suppose if i book the refill on first date of month and the delivery comes on 20th of month, then as per your policy i will have to book nesxt refill after 21days of delivery. It means 20days+21days=41days. It is goning too much. Can you assume one refill is enough for one month or is being consumed within the month. How can we wait for 41days while the average consumption of one refill is for less then 30 days.

                    Please rectify your services as soon as possible do favour in customer support.

                    I am happy by the Sri Venkateswara Enetrprises gas agency MES Road Jalahalli .As our gas was leaking I called them and they in turn have send the service people who repaired within few minites. My another request is that for HP Main gas filling unit has to test the rubber which is inserted in the nozzle of the gas cilinder where we fix our Regulator as it will be used by several Customers the rubber will be hardened as we fit the regulator the gas will leak kindly look into this matter as the rubber seemed to be of lower quality earlier this problem was not there in any cilinders.

                    Dear Sir, I have HP Gas connection No. 611321 at Mumbai. I have booked for refil of cylinder first through mobile . I have filled form for supply time before 9AM . But cyliner was not delivered in given time. It has gone back when cylinder was brought at around 6PM instead upto 9AM. Then I booked through Agency Anmol Enterprises, Govandi Mumbai and they confirmed that gas will be supplied on same day after 7 PM which was agreed. Anmol Gas also did not bring gas so for. It is problem with Anmol Enterprises, that they never supply gas in time although they take additional amount for supply of gas at given time in fixed time slot. Kindly take immediate action and arrange supply of gas to me.

                        All the tele booking numbers provided by the HP Gas remain busy/engaged 24 hours. Hence I think no use of these numbers. My Bookin No.is 4 dated 31/01/2008 time 3.43 pm. Againg I have sent SMS for the same no. 3 dated 9/2/2008 time 3.14 pm. Request HP to introduce some alternative arrangement to help its consumers as it is a emergency service.

                          Absolutely agree with your complaint.
                          1) Delivery is very late takes around three to four days and some times one week after registration
                          2) You have to keep on calling and remind them for the delivery
                          3) Phone nos are always busy, and if it is ringing they don't bother to attend the calls, if they attend the call then you are very lucky.
                          4) Staff in Customer care (specially girls) are always shouting on the phone. Never answer you properly.
                          5) If their deliver man deliver your cylinder to somebody else by mistkae they don't take the action for that.
                          Fully Agree with Mr. Singh but I just want to know is any one taking any action on this issue as Mr. Singh has logged this complaint on[protected] but still status is same as it was before.

Our HP Gas Agency's name is JALDEEP GAS AGENCY. Ph No. is[protected] and I am very unsatisfied for HP Gas's dealer behaviour, because last seven days in my house gas cylinder is empty. We book our cylinder on 15/4/2009 its waiting no is 7495. we don't get its delivery till today. Dealer telephone is not responding, so we were reached at Agency and talk about my problem with the person who handling agency is tell us that Cylinder is not available, when it comes take it from our gowdaun and we don't delivered it at you home.

Dealer telephone is not responding, so we were reached at Agency about 4times and talk about my problem with the persoperson who handling agency is tell us that Cylinder is not available, but two day ago when i visited i shown that the person who handling agency deliver 2-3 cylinder to his relative.we most unsatisfide to his unresponsible behavior.

                              I booked gas for home delivery on 28.01.08 but till today 17.02.08 not deliver. Whenever i make phone call to their representative, he says tomorrow must be delivered. I am very sorry to say we are facing much problem due to this type of service and it is regular happening with HP. There are no shortage of gas but it is used in cars and in hotels. It is shame on the company name that the management is not able to control like this misuses. My Gas Agency Distributor code is 960480.

Whenever i make phone call to their representative, he says tomorrow must be delivered. I am very sorry to say we are facing much problem due to this type of service and it is regular happening with HP. There are no shortage of gas but it is used in cars and in hotels.                                 I have a HP LPG Connection. My Consumer No. is 612542 booked gas on 12.01.2008. It was told to me that the cylinder will be delivered to me within 10 days. However, 33 days have gone by but I have not received the supply. I have been continuously following up with the Agency (Shiv Shanti Gas Agency Pune-43.Ph. no.24378060,[protected] but to no avail. Yesterday, they told me to collect a cylinder from the agency buyhand , still they will not given the cylinder .
                                Last ONE MONTHS BOOKING + 21 DAYS BOOKING PERIOD ( as per the hp rules & regulation) = 54 DAYS overd still i will not recieved a cylinder.
                                Please , take a nessary action against this agency & try to solve the problem as early as possible.

                                As per policy, LPG refill should be delivered to a consumer having single cylinder on the same day of demand registered for. However, M/s.Soham Gas Service, Kolbad, Thane is not aware of this policy as it is our experience that whenever we registered our demand for refill, we told that the refill will be delivered after 2-3 days. Sometimes we get LPG refill after four days which is very inconvenience to office goers like us. Inadequate supply of LPG refill from Oil Company as against the demand placed, is the main reason of delay in delivering refill to a consumer having single cylinder as stated by the dealer. Please confirm.

                                  I am a user of HP Gas for domstic purpose with my connection no. 659731 dated 23.04.98. Sir, My dealer M/s God Gift Gas, Shop no. 2, D-930, 60 Feet Road, Chawala Colony, Ballabgarh, Faridabad (Hr.) is a registered delar of supply of HP Gas, but sory to inform you that the said delar is unable to make the delivery of cylinder in proper time. I have noted that there is a difference between the date I order the gas and the date on which the order is written as taken and the date of delivery written in the bill and the date at which the gas is delivered. Sir, Behaviour of Delar is very very poor. Sir, The time of working hours in mentioned in office of the said agency is 8 am to 8 pm. but office is open 10:15 am and close 5:00 pm and recived of cylinder from godwan (Store) is timing 6:00 am to 9:00 am.                                   Lately the delivery of Gas Cylinders has been erratic, once you do a booking it takes 21 days for me to get a refill. Sorry to say this is just not acceptable. Today (14.02.2008) both my HP Gas Cylinder have got over. Please take stringent action against the Delaer, why should the consumer suffer so much. The Dealer also sells the cylinders in black. We have seen it with our own eyes.

As we both are working, it is not possible for us to received the Gas cylinder between the abovesaid hours. Today, my wife took leave from office to receive the refill the gas cylinder but nobody turned up. When I contacted the agency they give me very curt reply that it will be installed tomorrow. Is this the attitude of the agency?

No.4201) at Channapatna (Ph:[protected]), Bangalore Rural, Karnataka after 20 days of delivery of supply as per the terms & conditions. I am sorry to inform you that till today your agency has not supplied gas ( more than 40 days completed) at my place. Not only myself other customers are unhappy with the poor service rendered by HP Gas. This creates doubt among the customers whether your agency at Channapatna has involved illegal supply. You may kindly look into the matter and necessary instructions may please be given to your Agency. Hope you will treat this matter as urgent.

                                    Vinay Gas Enterprises - Distributors for HP Gas, in Lingarajpuram, Bangalore is one of the worst distributors foro HP gas. Their phone lines are perpetually engaged and never deliver gas on time. My gas cyclinder is empty and I have been trying to lodge a refill order for the last 7 days, but I am just unable to get through to their numbers !

                                    They are so bad that they have internal arrangements with some customers from whom they take extra money and ensure that they get their refills in time.

                                      I am a Senior Citizen. My son, Srikanth Parthasarathy is now in the USA on official assigment.

                                      For the past 15 days I have been trying to get 'Sreenithi Gas Agencies' on the phone for booking a gas cylinder. The phone NEVER works. It's either engaged or out of order. (I don't know how they are serving the public).

                                      Today the delivery man came with a cylinder and I asked him to test the cylinder. When he connected it, there was a hissing sound. When I asked him the reason, he said it might be because of the pressure and that it'll settle on its own.

                                      When my daughter-in-law came in the evening and started the gas, there was an awful smell. The cylinder was leaking. She then changed the cylinder to the other full HP cylinder that we had (we have two cylinders), and which, to our horror, turned out to be leaking as well.

                                      We immediately disconnected it and took both the cylinders out of the house and to the street in front of our apartment building.

                                      Since then, we have been seeking help from all concerned with HP, but to no avail. We first tried both the numbers of the aforementioned Sreenithi Gas Agencies,[protected] and[protected] but as always they just wouldn't respond. Then we tried calling the 'HP 24 HOUR HELPLINE'-12665, but apparently their 24 hours don't include the not-so-ungodly-hour of 8 in the evening. My daughter-in-law then tried finding out any HP number (Corporate Office, Mumbai, Delhi, you name it) that we could contact, from the Internet. We tried the HP Gas Leakage number provided on the Internet- 8535846. We were greeted with the 'This telephone number does not exist' melody. We couldn't get through to anyone. Not knowing what to do, we ended up speaking to a person from Coimbatore who apparently used to work for HP Gas Leakage but didn't any more, as their contract had expired. (Phone:[protected]). Meanwhile, my daughter-in-law's brother and his wife were also frantically looking for HP numbers that we could call. And the HP people in hyderabad proved much more helpful, and suggested that we try calling the telephone exchange in Chennai and try to get the numbers.

                                      As a last resort, we rushed to the E4 (Abhiramapuram) Police Station, as we didn't know how else to handle such an emergency. The policemen there first tried calling Sreenithi Gas Agencies and unable to get any response, then contacted the police station in Jam Bazaar, a market in the vicinity of PILLAYAR KOIL STREET, where the office of Sreenithi Gas Agencies is located, and asked them to go personally to their office and get the contact number of anyone responsible, from the agency. Didn't happen as the Office was closed and noone in sight anywhere near it.

                                      The police people then tried contacting the HP helpline in vain.

                                      Finally they called the Fire Brigade and asked them for help. The person there suggested that a constable goes with us and tries to get the cylinder valve adjusted a little bit using a ball point pen. The constable complied, but the leakage didn't stop at all.

                                      Finally the Fire Brigade, with their crew of 10 and all their fire fighting equipment landed in front of our apartment building TAKING COGNIZANCE OF THE EMERGENCY SITUATION FACING THE ENTIRE COLONY, DUE TO TWO FAULTY AND DEADLY CYLINDERS SUPPLIED BY HP.

                                      Hats off to the Fire Brigade team for having realized their reponsibility and having arrived on the scene when it counted, something we can hardly say for anyone from HP.

                                      The fire fighting team, after struggling with both the cylinders, closed them temporarily somehow and asked us to get them replaced ASAP in the morning, since the leakage couldn't be arrested completely. They advised us to let the cylinders remain ouside at a safe distance. The entire colony collected there to watch the TAMAASHA.

                                      The two cylinders, as we speak, are kept outside of our apartment building, awaiting replacement by the callous HP team.

                                      My contention in the whole circus is summarized a follows:

                                      1. The complete and astounding apathy that HP has shown in the incident, that certainly required emergency measures, inspite of the statutory requirement of being there for its customers when an emergency situation arises due to its own products (14 kilos of Liquified and very very dangerous Butane in this case).

                                      2. Gross negligence on the part of HP in a grave situation that could have been resolved by the intervention of just 'ONE' HP technician.

                                      3. Everyone's efforts, not just mine and my family's but also the E4 police Department's , and the Alwarpet Fire Fighting and Rescue team's - could have been saved, had the sole party responsible here, done what it was supposed to do. Goes to show what kind of value HP places on it's customers' lives.

                                      For the past 3 weeks I have been trying to get 'SathyaTulasi Agencies, Tarnaka' on the phone for booking a gas cylinder. It's out of order for last three weeks. They changes the numbers so frequently i is becoming difficult to get those numbers
                                      I am facing the same issue and wanted to launch a complaint. I am residing in Pune. We have HP cylinder in which the valve pin is broken and the gas is leaking. We have currently pushed the safety cover for now.

                                      I have tried all numbers provided on consumer copy first 12665 (does not exist) [protected] (does not exist) then numbers published on HP site for Pune i.e. 26213104, 26213105, 26213020 all are engaged. There is no number which is working for one who wants to contact in emergency. Finally if something bursts one would have to call fire brigade. Thankfully it works 24X7..

                                      I booked a refill in the 2nd wweek of December 2014. Its now time for the working one to get over. Unfortunately the extra refill is leaking since 3 days. Tried calling all possible no and I now realize that it is a common concern.
