I got a hitachi invertor ac from goel bros in mohali on 31st march 2018. The ac's cooling came down after 2 months of its usage and after calling the ac service person, the problem was resolved.in march 2019, i lodged a request for ac service on the hitachi app but the response was not received. The ac was not cooling and i had to directly call the service agency. They told me that the ac gas had leaked and i had to pay 2750 for the gas refilling. As per them, ac gas leak is not covered under warranty. This kind of product is not expected from a brand like hitachi. I have been using samsung window and split ac for the past 20 years but such kind of a problem was never faced. Very poor product performance from hitachi.

    Hitachi should be bought under the scanner of consumer protection council.
    They are basically cheating customers by selling spares at exorbitant price.
    I have hitachi refrigerator purchased in 2014. Last year i had to replace one cooling fan by spending around 7000/-. This year again another fan not working, again i have to spend 7000/- to replace the fan.
    Considering the size and content of the fan, at the most total cost should have been rs.100 - 150.

      Dear mr. Nagari,

      Trust you are doing well.

      I would like to share my experience after investing my hard earned money and considering hitachi brand for my home. I bought hitachi refrigerator in oct 2014, it work fine for almost 6 7 months. But after that my wife was encountering regular problem of water depositing below the vegetable basket at the bottom section.

      Your services team visited us and did some repair and committed the things has been put right and there will be no further issues.

      But sorry to say the problem continued, and to your surprise i saw our maid placing towel before closing the door of refrigerator.

      No one from hitachi gave us the concrete solution. Recently once again the service call was registered for the same purpose. According to the service personal it was committed a senior personal will be deputed to understand the root cause. He again did some thing and again committed the same "problem is resolved"

      When the problem repeated same gentleman again turned up, and now he said their will be three to four parts replacement inside the ice section. (Fan, thermostat etc.

      In front of me he called the service center to find the availability of these parts and the person on the other side of the phone told him that this is manufacturing problem and ask them to install the modification kit.

      To the surprise when i checked whom did you called can i have his no., he is the owner of service center who has visited us during the warranty period for the same reason.

      These all sequence of incidences have shaken my trust in hitachi brand, my brand new refrigerator became the training center and experimenting all the technicians on my hard earned money.

      I have pic the way the calls are attended. I would urge to replace my refrigerator when their is a manufacturing fault and it was never told to us.

      This was never expected from a brand like hitachi. I tried hard to arrange your contact no. But could not succeed.

      I would be forced to take it legally

        Complaint regarding their services: i purchased your ac on 12/05/2018, i had purchased my ac from hitachi with the trust that i will be properly heared when i face any kind of problem. Recently from last two weeks my split ac is not cooling properly i had called the nearest service center many a times and they say they will send their representative for sorting out my problem after so many call to service center they had send a service man named aniket.
        He just came for 10 minutes and checked my ac after that he said wait till evening it will start cooling just like before but 4 days has been passed and there is no improvement in the cooling of ac on calling him again he is not picking up the phone and there was no response from the service centre. As in india it is a peak summer season and ac is a must but i have been harassed by the service care centre. That kind of after sales services from a top selling company like hitachi is very unacceptable and same has to be taken very seriously by the company..
        At last i want that my ac should be properly checked and the defect must be corrected by the service man and the kind of attitude the service centre had they should be apologetic.
        My ac was under warranty period and the warranty of the same will going to be expire in coming weeks.
        I hope a appropriate action will be taken on this matter asap

          I bought 2 AC in 14/04/17.. one is working good but other has some manufacture defect. That I told many time to company please replace my default ac ... but they sent technician to resolve my problem which is not solved .. my .. i simply want to resolve my ac problem...about my experience with Hitachi is really. Not good I must make sure that in my company we don't use Hitachi product in future...

            I bought my hitachi inverter ac in 2015 every year i face new problems they didn't listen to customer now in 2019 my ac cooling coil damaged and the gas always leak... A technician came from hitachi and he took 500rs and said we will replace your indoor unit in 12500 i wait for 3 days now they said it's 19k or more and then said indoor unit and parts are no more available by company (Company stop making it's parts) even my ac is in 5 year compressor warranty they directly said your ac is going to a junk yard
            What the hell is this... If there parts are not available then why they giving 5 + year compressor warranty... I have all the bill and no. S how can i complain about it to the higher authority of the company?..

              I complaint for non coolling of the ac (2 years old) and the guys mentioned that it was a gas leakage. He took 5000 to put gas in the ac and told us that as its been done through the company only we wont face an issue too early. He installed the gas on 26th march and today is 27th april and my ac is not even giving a normal air how can i expect cooling. It is very disheartening to pay such a big amount and then again it is the same problem.

                This is in reference to my hitachi 586 litre side by side refrigerator (R-w660pnd3). Got this around 4-5 years back. The issue is that the door handle has broken again & needs a replacement. We had got it replaced almost 2 years back (Infact the complete door was replaced as the handle is attached to the glass door & does not come separately) & now it has again broken because of substandard plastic used by the company.

                Absolutely disappointing. Moreover i have visited many times to register my complaint on website (https://hcserve.com/crmprod/frmwebcallmaster.aspx). once you are there at the website it identity me by mobile no & also identity my refrigerator along with all the my contact details. Sends me an otp to reconfirm complaint being made. Once you enter otp this message flashes on the screen -

                'complaint saved successfully through ip 103.54.26.28, you will receive your complaint/service request no. Via sms on your registered mobile no. Within 5-10 minutes'

                The worst part is even if you try in numerous times registering your complaint, you will never get a complaint / service no on your mobile as mentioned above. Off course no surprises here, the support team will never call you back or bother contacting regarding the complaint made.

                If you happen to connect thru customer service numbers, they will register your complaint but will not share the complaint number & offcourse no surprises here as well - no one will ever call you back to attend to your complaint even if you chase them left right & center.

                The worst customer care experience i ever had in my life. Hitachi thinks they have sold a product to a client & that is it, never realizing the customer ends up influencing others & could be a repeat client as well. Hitachi does not bother...

                Going to take this complaint to consumer court if this is not resolved with in next week. Frustrated with follow ups.

                  On 13th apr’19, i contacted hitachi to log a service request for my ac. The same day, your service guy came. I told him that the ac is not cooling anymore. He switched on & checked the ac and started servicing.

                  After the servicing was done, i paid him rs 900 and gave him the 4digit code. Before leaving, he asked me to check the cooling. This is when i realized that the ac was not blowing wind anymore. Even on high speed, the fan could merely be felt.

                  Below is the whole series of events:

                  13-apr - called for servicing
                  13-apr - service guys came. Switched on the ac & checked. I checked ac after servicing & found that blower had stopped working. Service guy had already taken rs900 & code. I called hitachi. Cust service rep spoke to the service guy on my phone & assured me that all will be fixed. Service guy could not fix the blower/fan on that day. He promised to send his senior the next day and went. Spoke to dilip in customer service

                  14-apr - no one came to fix the ac blower. I called cus service. He raised a complaint. Spoke to nitin in customer service

                  15-apr - no one followed up. I called again & cust service agent advised to allow another day. Spoke to nuzzakir in customer service

                  16-apr - new service guys came, they first told me that it’s a pcb issue. I told them what all happenned. They said let's speak to the last guy over the phone. Then they said that the problem is with capacitor and will need to be replaced. I told them that the hitachi service guy spoiled it & i will not pay for it. They said, no problem & promised to come back in the evening. Again, no one came. Meanwhile, i had a chat with hitachi cust care who asked me to send an email to [protected]@jci-hitachi.com. Chatted with sunny singh in customer service
                  16-apr - wrote an email to hitachi with the whole story & requested to get my ac fixed which was spoiled by your service guys. Wrote email

                  17-apr - email cust service rep advised issue has been escalated. Email to purvi trivedi in customer service
                  17-apr - no one came from hitachi. Called up cust service, explained the whole story & cust service rep said that she is raising a new complaint number to get it resolved as soon as possible.in the evening, hitachi service guy called up and put me on conference with 3 people. They were talking amongst themselves with me on hold. After 15min i told them to just come to my house & fix what they spoiled in my ac. Spoke to himani in customer service
                  17-apr - wrote an email reply to purvi telling her the current status & again requesting someone to come home & fix the unit. Emailed again to purvi trivedi in customer service

                  18-apr - no one came & no one called & no one responded to email. Called up hitachi again. This customer service rep was very rude & mean. Was simply reading through the notes & refused to call up the service guys to follow up on my behalf. Kept on insisting that someone from technical team will contact me and that the complaint has been raised. I already am aware of this. He had nothing new to say & no further assistance. Spoke to rahul pandit in customer service
                  18-apr - when did not get any assistance by calling hitachi, wrote back via email. No revert yet. Emailed again to purvi trivedi in customer service

                  19-apr - called up your cust service again. There are no notes on my account in regards to this continuing issue & i had to start over and explain everything to the rep. He assured me of an immediate action on my complaint and said my issue will be resolved today for sure. Spoke to moin in customer service

                  After all the above running around, i have completely lost my trust in hitachi. I have been extremely patient with all this but these guys are least bothered. That us why, i am now considering to approach consumer court & will also spread all the above on every possible social network. My ac unit has been spoiled and no one is even reverting to any of my complaints.

                      Name of the dealer from where you purchased: great eastern trading company, sreerampore, mahesh, hooghly.

                      My refrigerator has not even been two years since its installation and this expensive refrigerator gave up, that too not as a result of mishandling, but simply due to substandard quality of the parts. All of a sudden the so called high quality system's motherboard failed as confirmed by the technician. To add to this, now this motherboard has to be replaced against an amount of 8100/- rupees which must be beared by the customer (It will take nearly 10 days to get done). Along with this, last month, we found the fibre tray cracked and technician confirmed because of compressor issue pcb is choked by itself. On questioning the technician, he confirmed it to be due to cold temperature and the quality of fibre not able to withstand it. Didn't the company know this while manufacturing that this fibre could not stand the stress of the allowable temperatures? If yes, then indeed you are willing cheating the customers, only pretending to serve the best products.
                      I feel really disgusted and pathetic about this. With this kind of product and services how do you think you are the epic brand you claim? A completely incompetent company only intended to cheat customers.
                      I don't really know if such a disappointing company can provide me with a sincere and desirable solution to address this situation, but i hope hitachi still has atleast some moral intact.

                      I understand your point that the customer has to bear the entire cost, obviously cause the fault was ours to choose Hitachi. You mentioned about the discount, as if that was that was such a major step towards my problem, so let me remind you, it was said that a 5% discount will be given. My question is do you find us beggars? A substandard quality product vendored against a high value, and the best option you think is a 5% discount?
                      Next, you completely ignored the fact that there is also problem with the compressor which may be a reason of PCB breakdown. The compressor will be replaced at company's expenses, but while doing so can you guarantee that nothing else will malfunction and yet again we have to pay for that?
                      Please think about it before claiming that this is the best you could do for us, cause the bigger picture is that Hitachi has cheated us.
                      It has been 14 days without a relief and the sufferance is solely due to cheap products used by you.
                      Looking forward to a quick customer friendly response in this regard.

                        We had purchased ac from hitachi 2years ago. Now when asking for service and maintenance of the ac the team is harrassing us like anything else. After 2 months of continuous follow up one service boy has come and reverted that the machine has a gas leakage.
                        We had also issued a cheque of rs 3000 for amc and the person had assured that amc will be done and receipt handed over by next day
                        1month has passed and there has been no response from the company. The contact no of the service engineer is fake. When we try to call the company and agency, we hardly receive any response
                        They have not debited our cheque and we fear they will refuse our service just immediately after the expiry of amc
                        Please help and arrange for immediate rectification and service
                        Also, kindly forward the same on social media not to purchase from hitachi

                          The service mechanic visited today and charged rs. 500. But the ac could not be serviced as he suggested that the pcb was defective. I couldnot understand why this has happened as when it was stopped in sep 2019, it was working. I think terribly something wrong with your product. Last year gas was charged without checking & plugging all leakages and gas was charged no. Of times during last summer. Even once the indoor unit was taken to the workshop. It seems something gone wrong drawing the heavy current which must have damaged the inverter pcbs. Last year remote was replaced at cost. Last year i incurred cost more than rs 5000.00 but hardly it worked during whole of the season last year.

                          Someone approached me in the month of feb for amc but did not come for collection of cheque in march 2019. I request you to accept the amc and repair under amc. Henceforth i shall take the amc in future. You may please consider request your customers. Such a high maintenance cost is unbearable but can not do anything as it is already purchased.

                          Japanese product are meant for quality & reliability.

                          I brought my 1.5 ton split ac 6yre before and changed PCB twice and now against the unit is not responding.

                          Had an idea to buy a second unit for this summer, now changed to buy a another Korean brand.No more Hitachi.

                            I purchased the hitachi ac last year and i turned on my ac this season after 6 months and guess what the ac was not working.. First of all i am disappointed that i got a bad product, second i have registered a complaint and no technician has visited to solve the issue.. It's been 2 days... I have used many ac before and a brand new ac has never given me a problem, so this is probably a defective product and second of all your technician has not visited me from 3 days

                              I bought hitachi 1.2 ton split ac last year dec '2018. It was working good till now but due to some technical issue my ac automatic function not working. I had filed a complaint on 27th march '19. But still issue is not been solved. Customer support team always fools by promising that your technician will visit and resolved your issue he will be available within one days and now see it's 10th april '19 (Almost 3 weeks). From 27th march it was only me who used to contact customer support, and they promised by saying after one days you will get a call from technician and he and technical team never gave a call. How ridiculous! Still issue not solved. Make it happen that your customers would stay well satisfied with your service. My ac is still under warranty so i hope to get response from your side.

                                I placed an online order for ac with order id: #HHLI-34253, dated[protected]:40:37 through Hitachi e-shop for Hitachi air conditioner model number RSNG317HCEA. Before placing the order, your customer service department informed me that if ordered on Hitachi e-shop, the delivery will be made within 7-8 days. It is very much regretted that even after 7 days, there is no sign of any expected delivery in near future. I have already sent so many emails to your ids: [protected]@jci-hitachi.com, [protected]@jci-hitachi.com, but it appears Hitachi has got a very poor communication system. None of my emails have yet been acknowledged till date. The only telephone number provided to contact for orders placed on Hitachi e-shop is not reachable. It is very disappointing that this number is mostly no reply. I expected Hitachi, being a Japanese company, to be very prompt in service and communication, but i am very much regretted that Hitachi has extremely poor communication service, and they do not honour any commitments for the orders placed online where full payments are paid at the time of placing the orders. I expected Hitachi to respond to my emails, but they did not acknowledge any of my mails. I request Hitachi team to cancel my order and give me full refund.

                                  With great disgrace i am writing this mail to you with a hope that i may get one resolution for the problem i’ve faced. I have purchased one hitachi 5 star split ac model no rsb 518 hbea (Inverter model) on 24.03.2018 (Copy of the bill is attached), from digi smile store, ghaziabad, after approx. One month waiting and continuous persuasion by means of phone call and personal visits for my desired model rsb 518 ibea, for which the dealer has informed that my desired model is not into pipeline and will not able to arrange it for me.
                                  The product (Rsb 518 hbea) has been installed on 07.04.2009. To my surprise, i have noticed that the unit is a 3 star model (Indoor unit is having a 3 star sticker on it) while the box packing of the same is having a 5 star sticker pasted over it. I then tried to contact the dealer to report the same but the dealer did not turned up and has not lifted the calls. I then decided to visit the store personally to report this incidence. The store owner told me that a resolution will be provided tomorrow (I. E. 08.04.2019) by replacing the machine with a 5 star model, but again, till now, nobody is lifting my calls or ready to give me any feedback for such occurrence.
                                  I may request you to kindly intervene into the matter and direct the dealer to arrange for an immediate replacement of the 3 star ac with a 5 star model. An early response from your side is highly appreciated and is also required to build trust with the prestigious customers.

                                    Hi hitachi team,
                                    I purchased a hitachi window ac 1.5 on 10th may 2015. (Please refer below for more details)
                                    It has been merely two years for the product however this specific product has been running into issues for every now & then
                                    Earlier it had issues regarding gas leakage for which i had to get it fixed (Attached is the receipt) from hitachi authorized service center (Aditya services)
                                    However, it has been just one month after the gas charging & service from the center & now there is another problem which is the pcb circuit board is faulty
                                    For this i had to again contact the service center & they informed to pay another rs. 2460/- for new pcb circuit board.
                                    I have been buying hitachi products from past couple of years (You can check my purchasing history), but this time it ruined my experience with hitachi
                                    As loyal customer to your products this is what i have received – a faulty product & pathetic service
                                    I would request you to please consider the matter at the earliest & take appropriate action

                                      Today was the worst experience I faced with Hitachi

                                      I bought Hitachi Split AC last year and with this I got my free services.

                                      I recently booked my service and then after 2 days, technician called me up for the service.

                                      As discussed with him He said that he will be coming at 4 pm on 7-4-2019.
                                      I waited for him and around 4.15 I gave a him a call asking where he is. To my astonish he said he is having lot of work and will come late. When I asked him that he committed 4 pm time earlier as per his convenience only and then changing it again without even notifying me. I waited for him like an ### and wasted my time.

                                      After this he said that he will only be there by 5.30 as company has given him lot of work and that to arrogantly.

                                      Again I waited till 5.45 and when he doesn't appear, i called him again, now this time he was making same excuses telling that he has lot of work and will be there by 6.30.

                                      This is the height o[censored]nethical behavior form staff of company like Hitachi.

                                      I have wasted my completed day for this and at end my work does not get done.

                                      I want my money back, you can take your pathetic services and garbage AC back. don wont to deal with company who has zero customer importance and value.

                                      Seriously disappointing., Also with this I ave every right to share this on whatever platform I like ( fb, twitter, websites etc.) I have cal recordings also as a proof from my end.

                                      Around 6.15, finally the service guys approached.
                                      after it they took about 5 minutes only and said service is done.. how can this be possible?

                                      When I asked them if they have checked temperature readings or gas level in condenser, they said that they don't have any equipment to do as company has not given any tools to check it.

                                      They took the screenshot of the AC and told me to sign the job sheet. when I urged them that please do the complete service, they said if I don''t sign it then also it will not be a problem, no looks at the job sheet.
                                      It will be lying in folders and nothing will happen.

                                      They also told me tat the person who did my service last year or the installation team have accidentally broken one small seal of ac. due to which a strange sound is coming.

                                      He did nothing and went away with unsigned copy of the job sheet, which they will themselves sign and submit it to company.

                                      Complete fraudulent case .. pathetic ac, company and staff. I regret for my decision of Hitachi AC

                                        I have registered a hitachi split ac breakdown request on mar 8. Next technician visit and said the problem is with pcb that needs replacement and he charged 550 rupees upfront without fixing the issue. He promised the replace the pcb next day. After so many calls and so many escalation it got replaced on mar 25 and charged 3850 without proper invoice. They said pcb has 6 months warranty and i will get invoice in message but i didn't. It worked only 2 days then ac turned itself off after one and half hours usage. No proper response from service center.
