This is to escalate the cooling issue of my 1 ton ac. It was bought on 5.11.15 (Bill can be provided if asked for)

This ac has issues in cooling right from beginning. I had raised a service request in april 16 ([protected] & [protected]) in warranty and technician visited my home for inspection. He found low gas pressure and he filled the gas. I insisted to check for leakage, but he was adamant to check the same and said there is no issue of leakage. Over the period the cooling decreased and now we are not getting any cooling from that ac.

Post warranty i raised a service request again in march 17 ([protected]) and based on which technician visited my home on 29.03.17. He said there is no gas in the ac and that’s the reason of no cooling. He informed charges of gas filling as inr 2750 and visiting charges as inr 500 as ac is out of warranty. I questioned him as to why leakage was not spotted earlier in warranty period, for which he was clueless and said i can’t comment on that, but he agreed that leakage should have been spotted.

I was then asked to go for amc by service centre ‘asp-aayush electric & eng.’ - tcr no. 42673 to resolve this and i opted for it (Amc contract can be provided if asked for). The whole year they tried multiple things with unprofessional and technically unsound staff and could not resolve the issue. At the end of the amc period, they changed the outer unit valve. I had taken their assurance on supporting the work done in amc for few days but later no one responded to my messages (Details can be provided if asked for), calls and at one point of time raised their hands up saying my product is out of warranty. Below are the details of people related to service center.

Later when i dropped mail to customer care, i was called by some hitachi guy who again gave false promises and never acted on my issue. His name is darpan. And i got to know that asp-aayush electric & eng. Is no more on hitachi list of authorized service centers. Whom shall we approach now?

I want to escalate below things to highest level now as i am fed up:

1. No issue resolution in warranty period
2. No issue resolution in whole amc period by asp-aayush electric & eng.
3. No serious action by customer care in spite of repetitive mails/ calls (Darpan was the last one to call me)

What i want? – i want my ac to be repaired without any cost as the same was not done in warranty as well as amc period, else i will be forced to go to consumer court for this defective product.

    With lot of frustration and pain i am posting my complaint on this forum. We bought above referred refrigerator of hitatchi from m/s trishul trading company haridwar, uttarakhand vide invoice no 445 dated 20/11/2017 (Sl no of item 0096). Since start the refrigerator is not working properly as there is lot of ice formation in the top portion on walls etc in refrigeration chamber. More than 5 times complaint was made and hitachi mechanic visited three - times. First they said it was problem of setting and they reset the parameters and assured everything will be ok. But problem persisted then they were called and after checking they declared that heaters, sensor and pcb will be required to be changed. When we resisted, again another team came and reported that the cover cloth on top of the refrigerator was getting trapped in door so ice formation was there and now no problem will be there. But problem still persisted. Now on repeated chasing we were informed that a gasket required to be changed and then it will work fine whereas in the last visit, no such apprehensions were shown. Hitachi mechanics are just making guesses and service and sales people want to pass warranted period just like this.
    Though hitachi is a reputed name it seems to buy their product is a really bad decision as the company do not have any support system in place. The showroom people are only interested in selling their product and service engineers are locally hired untrained non professional persons picked up locally and good for nothing. There is no sense of customer service or care.
    Their biggest weakness is their poor service set up.
    We need replacement of this faulty refrigerator.

      I purchased 2 hitachi air conditioners in june 2017. It is only 1 year 4 months passed, cooling of one of my ac has stopped. This is something very amazing that product from such a big and reputed company performs in this manner. I got both the acs serviced as per the norms and guidelines of the company and in fact i'm worried for my 2nd ac also, it may also behave in same manner. I spent 50000.000 on purchase of your 2 acs. It is not worth purchasing hitachi air conditioner.

        I registered a complaint on sept 11th 2018. The engineer came and verified that the pcb had burnt out. He said a replacement will be available in 1 week latest. Over 2 weeks passed by without any calls. By the way, i have an amc with hitachi!.
        I made numerous calls to cs but no solution. No response from vishal marar.

          Dear sir/madam,
          We purchased 3 door hitachi refrigerator from sargam electronic dealer on dated 16.10.2016 of inr 64000.00 with 10 years warranty.

          At the time of selling sales person told us 10 years warranty on this latest hitachi machine. But after the 13-14 months our refrigerator cooling coil was damaged and not work. When we contact with hitachi service center they refuse to give us warranty on cooling coil. So we paid inr 3200.00 for cooling coil and inr 4779.00 for amc to hitachi company.

          Now today i writing to you becoz after the first repairing this machine giving us trouble till now. Some time door is not closing and some times cooling not available. From last two days our machine not working again and cooling is not available in upper section. As per company engineer this will take time to repair becoz fans are not working. Again we have to go somewhere to keep our vegetables and others things.

          We spend huge money from my pocket to buy this machine. I feel cheated now by sargam and hitachi company. Both companies are cheating with customers and taking huge money for selling poor machines.

          Kindly refund my money on urgent basis.

            I am writing this mail with so much disappointment, as i bought Hitachi W Kaze 1.5 ton window AC on 29th April 2018, within 5 months of time we are faced with the issue of Gas Leak, i believed HITACHI were one of the esteemed brands in home appliances.
            But this kind of issues should not be faced by the customer right? I had complete faith in your in your Brand Name but after this i don't know what to do now.

            I request you to kindly t revert back ASAP.i have already lodged a complaint through Hitachi app, and not a single revert on mail too form there customer care team, non availability of parts and worst customer care service.

            now they have shown in the app its has been resolved .But actually it hasn't.

              This is to bring to your notice that a fraudster mr. Salman - m : +91 [protected] has visited my house claiming to be hitachi refrigerator technician and claimed rs 16400/- for pcb replacement and rs. 3600/- for v guard 1kv stabilizer.
              I am attaching the photos of the affected pcb, bills of a company called bird view, photo mr. Salman.

              Below are the sequence of events since 29th sep. Night :
              29/08/18
              1. Called[protected] at 9.41 pm - call couldn't connect - 0 sec -
              2. Called[protected] at 9.42 pm twice - call couldn't connect - both calls 0 sec
              3. Called[protected] at 9.44 pm - 43 sec and again the same number at 9.46 pm - 37 sec
              4. Called[protected] at 9.45 pm - couldn't connect - 0 sec

              30/08/18
              '5. Called[protected] at 9.53 am - 3.37 min
              6. Mr. Salman called 3 times during the day - call history is wiped and only showing from monday calls. I called once on his number (Mentioned above)
              7. Mr. Salman visited and said that pcb was burnt so needs to be replaced and will cost rs. 16400/- he removed the pcb and took with him.

              31/08/18
              8. I called once to know when the work would be completed. Mr. Salman called once. He visited late and fixed the pcb, did not show any o[censored]s the new box or replaced pcb and said, work was done. A young boy was accompanying him - collected cash, when i said i can pay online - said would take a lot of time, so preferred cash or paytm.

              1/09/18
              9. As the cooling didn't happen and he had to still fix the 1kv v guard stabilizer, i called him several times and when his phone was not reachable, called[protected] at 7.08 pm and spoke with someone for 4.23 mins, after which for the first time i received a sms confirming my complaint ticket no.[protected].
              10. Spoke with mr. Salman again that day and told him that the cooling was still off, so he said would visit on sunday and since then not to be seen and answered the phone only twice on monday 3rd sep/ 2018 with excuses of stuck in traffic and vehicle stopped working.

              Subsequently on 3rd i was talking with mr. Chand basha who was given my complaint number. He was given mr. Salman's number by me and he also spoke to him.

              Serious intervention by you and if required i am ready to file a complaint at the police station against this fraudster. If my money can be retrieved by you and your office, will be grateful.
              Social media will be made aware of this kind of fraudsters so people can beware!!!

                  I had bought hitachi inverter ac last year and used it in total a month only, now it is not starting. When i launched a compliant their service engineer comes to check it, that guy was coming from some local vendor and doesn’t know much about ac. He said there is an issue with indore unit pcb and motor both things needs to be sent for repair and the cost will be around inr 15000/-. This is like 40% of accost, hitachi is very bad in service and after sales cost.

                    New ac purchased 14 july. When the ac was installed, the compressor was not getting on. The complaint was reigistered same day regarding the same.
                    Three days later technician visited and told that the wiring of compressor was tempered. He replaced the wiring. I asked him that it was a new ac purchased so requested a replacement. He said hitachi dont replace air conditioners. They only air repair. Then i contacted the showroom where the ac was purchased. They replaced the ac. When the new ac arrived it was not cooling properly. Again a new complaint was registered on 09 august. The engineer visited and told that due to less gas, ac is not cooling.
                    2 hitachi ac's received in 15 days and both faulty. I have registered so many complaints till date but no action taken in order to replace this ac.
                    Complaint is also registered with natinal service centre 1st level on 14 august complaint reference 2fb027ad89d but no response till date.
                    Hitachi is not a brand to be advised to any one seeing their faulty products as well as services provided by the complany

                      After using the product it beeps 12 times and no any function of ac. Complain and attended assured for replacement within warranty period. But after 15-days passed no any respond from the company attendent. Thus the warranty lapse process is goin on. Actually govt. Of india should take initiative to banned the all hitachi make items in india to cheat the indian peolpe.

                        I bought a hitachi 1.5 ton windows ac. It stopped working just after 2 months. On 15th july i contacted customer care, they arranged an executive visit who informed us that compressor is damaged and need to be replaced. But we didn't hear back from them again. So i called customer care again on 27th july, this time we got excuse that there is transport strike so its taking time. On 8th august, i got call from field executive and he informed that he had received the compressor and it will cost rs 2800 for transportation and labour charges. I said ac is in warranty so why there are charges. Then he stopped taling our calls. We again called customer care on 9th august, team assured to escalate it and arrange a call from service team. We got the call on 10th and were told it will be fixed by end of day but no one came to fix it.

                        We escalate this over email to [protected]@jci-hutachi.com as well but to no avail. We escalated it online via connect to management but no response except default response email. Can someone help?

Used only 3 months in which faced 2 times pcb problem and now this year aug'2018 two days back ac stop responding when i requested for service, found again pcb problem. Technician is charging inr 4220 + 500 + gst (Visiting charge) approx amount inr 4720 + gst
                            I will not buy or recommend any hitachi product again.

                              I have purchased a Hitachi spilit ac from Great Eastern jodhpur (Uttam & Sakti) and he had not registered my mobile no. and send somebody else to install the product (not from company).after that we called in cc so many times and registered my no.

                              after 5-6 days ac was not working and from that day i complained every alternate days or week to change my product and 2 times gas also filled in new product.

                              and i complained to refund my amount from the beginning but nobody listen my issue and they repaired the new product everytime .
                              but i am completely fed up with the product so i want refund only as they guys were cheated and sold defaulted product to us.

                              The Dealer Great eastern gives very pathetic service so don't buy any product from that place.

                                  I have purchased two door refrigerator of hitachi in the month of may and from the day one it was not colling. I lodged the complaint and their technician came and told that fridge is not cooling damaged and it should be repalced. Now it has been one and half month neither they mail nor they call. I am still waiting. I called up so many times in customer care but they told me that its not their job and service center people call you. But i didnt get any call from their side.

                                    I purchased hitachi split ac 1.5 ton 3 months back. The unit got faulty within 10 days of installation. The complain was registered and many times hitachi technician visited my place and finally declared the item faulty and recommended it for replacement. Now i am following hitachi customer care since last 3 months but they are harassing me like anything and giving me false promises and on every call they make me wait for hours even before someone can talk and then they give me a date which is never fulfilled i feel like cheated harassed. I just can't understand that why a company of so high brand value of hitachi is treating its customers like this. I purchase this ac in the month of april and now its july completing and i just feel like for what i paid 40, 000 and these guys at customer care are harassing me like anything. I don't know what to do maybe someone can listen here.

                                      Since may 2018, i am having a problem with the hitachi three compartment refrigerator bought in july 2013. The initial complaint was registered for the machine not cooling. Later it developed a problem of ice cubes not forming. The water was leaking into the freezer compartment and freezing in the entire hold but not forming cubes. Two service providers have attended to it but without being to resolve it. They are - i care services, vikaspuri, new delhi and national refrigeration services, dwarka, mahavir enclave, new delhi.
                                      I was advise by the latter to request for the company technician to attend to the problem.

                                        110085. I have purchased two air conditioners of hitachi s.ac
                                        Rs0318bhea 1.5t invrtr ('ac') from electronic paradise ('ep') located
                                        At a-1/ 8 (Near m2k cinema) sector 8 new delhi 110085 on 14 july 2018
                                        (Saturday) with invoice no. Rh/ r-2527/18-19.

                                        I have enclosed copy of invoice for your reference.

                                        I have presented series of incidents below.

                                        1) ep has delivered and installed ac at my residential address
                                        Mentioned above on 15 july 2018 (Sunday). After installation, ac
                                        Started leaking water and did not cool the room. When i informed the
                                        Technician that ac has started leaking and did not provide any cooling
                                        In the room. He has told me that ac will cool the room after some time
                                        And fixed the issue of water leaking and left the premises.

                                        2) when we started ac on the same night, it was not working properly,
                                        Did not cool the room as well as started leaking water again. Family
                                        Members were forced to stay in the hotel at that night. After that we
                                        Have called ep and inform them about the issue faced by us. They have
                                        Provided support and after that technician was arrived at our premises
                                        On 17 july 2018 (Tuesday). He told us that he has fixed the issue and
                                        Assured us that ac will cool the room and water leaking problem will
                                        Be solved.

                                        3) but ac was not able to cool the room and water leaking problem
                                        Still continued at that time also. I have informed about our problems
                                        Again to ep again on 20 july 2018 (Friday) and also visited personally
                                        At the store. Mr suri (Manager of the store) has assured us that they
                                        Will resolve the issue on 21 july 2018 before 2 pm.

                                        4) i have not received any response from them till 2 pm on 21 july
                                        2018. Due to this, i have to personally visit the store again to
                                        Escalate the issue again on 21 july 2018. After that, technician
                                        Arrived at our premises and informed us that ac was not able to cool
                                        The room due to gas leakage from the ac. We have requested them to
                                        Resolve the issue at the earliest.

                                        5) on 23 july 2018, technician from ep arrived and dismantle the ac
                                        And deliver the new ac.

                                        6) on 24 july 2018, technician which came from hitachi to install the
                                        New ac has informed us that there is some problem in the new ac which
                                        Cannot be installed. There is only one option that we have to refill
                                        The gas again.

                                        7) even after 10 days of full payment and continuous follow up with
                                        Ep, issue has not been resolved.

                                        I wish to highlight some facts below to the management of electronic paradise.

                                        1) we have shown trust on hitachi brand as well as on electronic
                                        Paradise and chosen among several other
                                        Brands. But hitachi and electronic paradise has let us down by
                                        Providing poor quality of
                                        Products from ep.

                                        2) we have shifted in our new home on 16 july 2018 and all the walls
                                        Gets muddy and spoiled due to water leakage from the ac.

                                        3) issue is still pending and i will request to hitachi company and
                                        Electronic paradise that
                                        It has to seriously investigate the matter on priority basis, find out
                                        The root cause of the problem and take action against the responsible
                                        Person.

                                        4) although, we have paid full amount of ac to ep on 14 july 2018 but
                                        Even after that we are not able to sleep in peace, we have faced lot
                                        Of mental harassment from ep.

                                        Our lot of energy, money and time has been wasted during 10 days as we
                                        Have to deal with so many persons from hitachi side and ep side (
                                        Sales person, sales coordinators, technicians, delivery boy). My
                                        Mother has felt lot of pain and under shock as her health is not good
                                        And facing health challenges. Despite this, she has to dealt with so
                                        Many people and coordinate with them. Faulty ac has been installed in
                                        Her room.

                                        We feels that choosing electronic paradise to purchase ac has become
                                        The biggest
                                        Mistake of our life and would not recommend anyone to buy product of
                                        Hitachi.

                                        We have already made so many request to ep to resolve the issue and
                                        Now we are writing this email to you with lot of hope.

                                        If we do not get any satisfactory response by tomorrow (25 july
                                        2018), we will not hesitate to present our case in the media/ social
                                        Media/ court.
