The AC does not work...The AC guys check and say AC is working and it is a stablizer fault and the stablizer guys say it is the AC Fault...it goes round in circles...when we pay so much for installation and then for the machines as well I HAVE THE RIGHT TO ASK FOR SERVICE

I NEED THEM TO APOLOGIZE TAKE THE MACHINES BACK AND RETURN MY MONEY. I AM A WORKING WOMEN AND IT IS A MENTAL HARRESMENT

I was purchased Ac 5 star rating for a Rs. 38000/- and additional fitting cost extra (Model - RAU 018 HPD) from M/s. RK electronics, J.Hills branch, before purchasing the model RK manager said about the product very well. but after installing i am facing so much problem with this model. New AC inside electronic board after purchase withing one week i got so many problems it shows red light and automatic on and off and i am getting mobile ring tones from the AC. So much sounds in the night. I want replace with new one or other wise return my total amount immediately.

    1.I purchased a fridge, model R-Z440AND6K on 31 Dec 06 from KD Electronics Noida.
    2. The fridge did not work properly from DAY 1. During the winters (first two months) it was cooling slightly and as soon as summers started, the cooling became totally ineffective.
    3. Despite repeated complaints and check ups by the HITACHI Service centre representatives, the complaint has not been addressed.
    4. We have been given various reassurances during the warranty period and now the fridge is outside warranty. It was serviced for the same complaint a number of times during the warranty period, and two of the service slips(from the first year)have been retained by me. I have some others as well from this year.
    5. The service centre has started giving false service slips to us somewhere along the way. The dates of service are missing on some as well.
    6. We have incurred excessive harassment for having to use a fridge which packs up after a day or 2 after it returns from the the service centre and the monetary loss due to food and electricity wastage. We have had to keep a non functional fridge switched on for service representatives to come and check at various intervals during the one and a half years. Besides this is the follow up we have been doing with the dealer and the service centre representatives (in Noida sec 18 and A-15, Mohan Cooperative, Mathura road, Delhi respectively)
    6. After having serviced the fridge for more than 10 times the esteemed technicians have not been able to repair the fridge. Despite this, i am being offered the service help again. I have also been asked to keep the fridge in a cool area so that it works (as it sometimes did in winters)
    7. I fully understand that the organisation has the time, resources (in terms of money and the departments) which will keep responding to complaints like mine without anyone putting any thought to resolving the issue. Because that is not their job ! their job is to send technicians and the company conveyance only. the people incharge of these issues are obviously not answerable to anyone or morally responsible for the job at hand.
    8. i am told that my fridge will now not be replaced as it is (very conveniently ) out of the warranty period ! After my pushing the issue to give me back the money for the fridge, I am told it is being discussed by the senior people in the company but no one is able to give me a date to this. No one is able to give me a number or a mail id i can contact directly. I am not able to get beyond a service manager or a customer care executive !
    9. The dealer whom i bought the fridge from cannot go beyond giving me the telephone number of the service manager !
    the responsibility shown by both the organisations to the product that they are selling and making money out off is completely non existent and quite shocking for the common man.
    I will not be surprised if this complaint is dealt by the same people who have mishandled the previous ones

    Dear Sir/Mam,

    This is in reference to the ongoing problems we are facing Hitachi Refrigerator Model No. R-S37NUND purchased on 27th May 2006.Further to issues already addressed in below mails, on 25th feb 2009 the refrigerator showed the same problem & an engineer from Diztek Services had replaced the compressor on 7th march 2009.

    It has hardly been a month & again we are facing the similar problem- there is no cooling ( Complaint No:[protected]; Date 20 April 2009 ). This refrigerator was bought only 2 .5 years back & every month there is a problem. We had bought this refrigerator going by Hitachi's brand image, but are completely dissappointed with its performance.It works for a few weeks & then 2 weeks go in getting the problem resolved.Kindly help in resolving the matter asap.Mr Ajay Sethi @ Dizteck Services has been updated about same on phone.

    2. We had to make several phone calls and repeatedly chase your after sales service centre to follow up on our complaint and it was only on 17th Oct'2008 that a technician, Mr. M.B Joshi from your authorised service centre M/s Dizitek Services came and replaced some faulty parts and charged a huge amount of Rs.6857/- . The Refrigerator worked temporarlily for a couple of days and failed again. We managed to get Mr. Joshi to come again and he again replaced the same PCB again but without any additional charges this time. The refrigerator worked for a couple of days and failed again. We have tried calling him again a few times now but he is yet to make a visit.

    3. We are thoroughly disappointed by:-

    a) The breakdown of the refigerator within such a short period of time after the purchase

    b) Refusal by your company to repair this free cost o[censored]nder warranty and instead put the blame on lack of a voltage stabiliser being installed by us to safeguard the refrigerator;

    c) Extremely poor response from your after sales & service organisation. Your website does not carry contact name or address or phone number of people who are accountable towards after sales & service and names of senior management to whom the issue should be escalated in case of no response. Also no one ever picks up the phone at[protected] call centre numbers you have provided.

    We have been regularly updating your Mr. Ajay Sethi about this matter as well. But would appreciate if someone senior in the organisation can look into the matter please and save us from further harassment and stress.

    I purchased 306 ltr. Referigerator Model-SR26NVAD from ShivaAirconditioning co. on 2.9.06. My refrigerator in under AMC with DIZITEK Services. From 20th April 2009 my refrigerator is not Colling. After my complain to customer care and compalin no. is[protected] three engineers has visited my house but my problem is unsolved. After my so many reminders and telephonic discussion with Customer Care, Dizitek Services, Mr. Anuj, Mr. Harpreet and Ms. Sonal Verma of Hitachi, they all are saying that your problem will solved tomorrow, but tomorrow is still have to come. One of the Hitachi Person Mr. Hariom adviced me that you can repair your refrigerator from market.

    This is in regards with my complaint for my "Hitachi split air condition"
    which was purchased from kapila electronics, janak puri., last month.
    My air conditioner is not working since 7 days nd i have lodged the first
    complaint on 16 may.09 but they did not take the complaint, again a
    complaint was done on 18.may, 09 complaint num:[protected], wit the name
    of vijay gaur, [protected]

    First of all there was no response fr my first complaint i was misguided at
    the customer care, after my second complaint and several reminders they
    visited and diagnosed blower is broken and confirmed that they wud cum and
    replace it but its been 3 days nobody has turned up.

    This is a serious concern, and this kind of irresponsible behavior is
    unacceptable.

    I own 2 more acs, whirlpool and haier bt I have never seen this kind of poor
    response and service from any reputed brand.
    I have spent on my AC to use it not to keep it at the showpiece.
    Please look at my concern at take necessary action, else i would go to
    consumer cell.

    Hitachi — Irresponsible behavior by customer care

    In May 2011 I made a complaint for my window AC at the Hitachi Customer care. I got someone who came to check the piece and said would come the next day to set it alright. I took a day off and no one came. After another complaint they came and took the AC in first week of July. I am a single woman and its been harrowing calling them but got no response of when I would have my AC back.
    For more than a month and a half -the entire summer months I have no AC in my bedroom and its a nightmare thinking of the open space in the room whcih could invite serious trouble.
    Its shocking how Hitachi treats their customers. I have no idea when my AC would come back but do hope they get some senses and take qucik action.

      We have got installed 5 Ductable Split AC 11 T each at our showroom located at Ghaziabad, UP thru yr Dealer M/s Air Del Enterprises ( Mr RAJAT Mobile No [protected]) as per the details given below.
      Invoice No & Date : 329 dated 30/4/2008
      Invoice Amount : Rs. 690100/-
      Show room Location : BINDAL ARCADE
      54 A-B, MODEL TOWN
      OPPOSITE NAVRANG CINEMA
      G. T. ROAD, GHAZIABAD. U.P (INDIA)
      These AC were installed and commissioned in June 2008. I want to bring few information to your kind notice that since the installation we are facing lots of problem Like
      • 2 Motors of indoor units are not working from the day 1.
      • Gas level is very less in the other three units causing very less cooling in the area.
      • 2 Nozzles are still blocked.
      • Water leakage
      • Air distribution is not proper.
      • Outer fans were broken 7 times.
      Response of the vendor is very poor. They are still not able to resolve the issues which i have mentioned to you. Either the product is of poor quality or the team who has installed & commissioned the same is having less knowledge. We have gone for HITACHI due to its brand value, but i am sorry to say that so far i am having very bitter experience with HITACHI. In spite of our repeated requests this particular vendor is not competent enough to resolve these issues. Kindly look into these issues at the earliest otherwise i do not have any other option to go to the consumer court for all these issues to get resolved. Pl ensure all the AC units are functioning to our satisfaction.

        i purchased a hitachi 1.5 ton split a/c and within 10 days it stopped working and a service engineer of your company got the compressor changed after 15 days of begging him. but the a/c didnt work at all so engineer said that there is some voltage problem so i called an electrician and he checked the line thoroughly but didnt find any fault with line ans well as stablizer, infact i have been using general a/c on same point for over10 years but never faced such problem. now i am calling the engineer everyday but all in vain there is no response and the a/c is not in use for over one month now. someetimes i feel that i have waisted a huge amont to buy just a plastic showpiece for my room.
        it is therefore requested you to kindly look into the matter and do the needfull.

          I have made complaint for faulty Ac vide compalint no[protected] dt14/07/2008 at Hitachi call centre delhi help line no 39898919.Subsequently enginer has visited and asked that some electronic plate will be replace by 24 hours .But after passin of 2 days none of the person has visited . When I again conatcted to call centre they have given the service centre no . In the service centr Mr Mittal has assire the sasme will be repalce by same day . But it has not replaced . nextday I again remind hime and he told that it will repalce today possitively . but again no body has visted . It is very surprise that an renowed comapny is behaving in avery professional way.

            An air conditioner of 11TR ductable has been installaed in the month of March 2006, after 2 years and 3months the coil of the machine has gone bad. This pauses a question mark on the quality of HITACHI airconditioners. Hope that this can be taken as a benchmark while considering the Hitachi. Even local make airconditioners performs in a better way.

              Dear Sir,

              This is in reference to a Hitachi Ace Split A. C. 2 Tons bought by me on April 14th 2008.

              The Machine Model No. RAU024HOD Machine Sr. No SE081C03073 & Remo Com Sr No. RFL08A10542.

              I would like to take a little of your busy time tell you my total experience with Hitachi India. I would also appreciate it you read it full as I spent lot of time writing & experiencing what I am about to write.

              RELATIONSHIP WITH HITACHI INDIA

              I have bought my Two AC of Hitachi Make Thorough M/s City Electronics in year 2003 when Hitachi had newly launched the Logicool µ Series AC.

              The AC’s are still working in my home except for Noise Level has increased as years have passed I do not have much of complaint except for after sales service support which is pathetic.

              CURRENT SITUATION

              I recently had a need for a Two Ton Split AC again for my house although in the intervening years I bought lot of AC for my Office and Home from Electrolux, LG, Samsung.

              The machine was bought by me from M/s City Electronics, Shop No. 17, First Floor, MGF The Plaza, M.G. Road, Gurgaon on 100% Cash Payment.

              From the day of installation there were problems.


              The personal who came to fit the AC were working in Samsung service center and were on leave that day and making some extra money on the side by doing installation. He did not even bother remove the wooden block placed under the compressor at the time of fitment claiming it is better as it will reduce noise.(Read the operation and installation manual). This block was removed by me personally.

              The first complaint was lodged on the day one itself when as soon as the AC was switched on we found that it making noise like old rattling diesel Engine the outdoor unit can be heard all the way in the front of the house even when it was installed at the back of the house.

              We had immediately informed the dealer and asked to replace the AC he assured us it was a minor problem and fixed. We agreed as we have known him for many years. His mechanic came and did something the noise went down but was not completely eliminated.

              Now the situation is this that the AC has stopped cooling on June 08, 2008 so I lodged the complaint with Dealer who said his personal will come and look. The personal came after three days of lodging the complaint and checked the AC.

              He stated that the Copper pipe above the compressor is cracked I immediately called the dealer and asked to replace the unit as this is second major complaint in as many months.

              He said he will send another person in evening to confirm the fault.

              The second person that turned up was from M/s Budget Vision, 107 Vashisht Complex,
              Sikender Pur MG Road, Gurgaon.

              He started by asking for soap water so that he check pipelines. I told him that pervious person has said Copper pipe above the compressor is cracked so he should open the unit to confirm the same. On hearing this he claimed that he does not have screw driver for the same (Which was a Lie). Fortunately we have suitable tools in our home so I provided him with tools. He just opened the electric connection plate and looked inside with light from mobile and confirmed what I just told him. I asked him to remove the AC and take it with him so that it can be replaced but it turned he was yet another roadside mechanic on contract with M/s Budget Vision. He did not have the Authority nor was his boss told him about removing the AC so he went away. (A big applause for Dealer management & training programs is needed here)

              Next again after much agitated talks with M/s City Electronics & M/s Budget Vision yet another person turned up. He said he is here to inspect the AC. I told him it is already inspected by four People in last two days and he should just remove it and replace it.

              He told he is from M/s Budget Vision & the AC was purchased by M/s City Electronics from them for further supply to me. That we should talk with M/s City Electronics for this matter.

              Now it is over one month and we are without AC and nobody neither M/s Budget Vision or M/s City Electronics are coming forward with a proper response instead choosing to lay responsibility on each other.

              Since when has a Japanese company starting to act like a Chinese.

              I have paid a premium of nearly 40% over other brands for your AC. The price for your AC are 30 to 40% higher than other brands does this means do you consider Hitachi a premium Brand if yes than surely you do not provide servicing meriting this premium.

              I searched the internet and read in newspaper it seems recently lot of Split AC are having a high failure rate in regard to same Issue i.e. leakage of Gas. Does this mean that you have faulty batch of Components if so then why issue a general product recall and have it fixed in one go as is the norm or other hand is this start of the end that QC has gone so low that you will supply anything.

              I have been forced send the summers in hot all thanks to you people. I could have done easily without spending the extra 45K.

              What is that we can do to improve the situation and get my AC Replaced. Perhaps I can visit your plant and personally airlift the a New AC to Gurgaon. Maybe if you can be specs and drawings of the AC I can fabricate it my self and believe me I can.

              I will look forward to hearing your solution soon.

              I don't expect much in form of response from your side. But still this letter might help you understand why after so many years Other Brands are selling more and giving a better performance despite yours is positioned as premium.

              PS: - I recently bought a Big Bazaar Brand Kroyo 1.5 Ton AC for my office and to my surprise it is whisper quiet and even the outdoor unit has no noise, the service level from them was much better than the one expect.

              A very detailed and patiently written e mail my friend, but I am afraid sent to deaf and blind company.
              Hitcachi in India supplies Chinese products with NO after sales service whatsoever.
              The consumer protection laws in India are still very weak. I simply threw the 2 AC's of Hitachi and put Indian AC's which may not be the so called best in technology but at least are not cheats.

              I was planning to buy the same AC of 2 tonnes but now i he is true while i already listen same from one of my relative even then i was little believing.

              May God Give right attitude to Hitachi or let them feel the same.

              Samsung India Ltd. / Window 1.5 Ton A.C. — Delivering the subStandard & Faulty 1.5 Ton AC & non-attending the Complaints.

              Sir,
              I have purchase a Samsung Make 1.5 Ton AC Model No.18ZKA from Gaurav Electronics Premier Collection Showroom 2363, Main road West Patel; Nager New Delhi-08.on 01.05.09 wide Bill No. 5928 dt.01.05.09 of Rs. 17, 500-00 . On instaltion it was not giving the colling and the fact of non-colling was immediately brought to your notice on 03.05.09. I have also made a complaint on the number of the service Centre provided by you Gaurav Electronics on 03.05.09 . The non attending my complaint for three days has shocke me and I continously contacted the party as well as the manufacturer, M/S. Samsung & its service Centre & assured the AC to be lifted by 09.05.09 from the place of installation & commit to deliver back within 2 days, but it was to my utter dismay that no body tured up till date. I was in a state of total shock and frantically calling upon service centre to take necessary action into the matter and even I request to M/s Gaurav Electronic and Service Centre to replace the Air Conditioner. On 14/05/09 finaly they lifted the Air Conditioner from my house vide Order No-SS14E366AC dated 14/05/09 vide claime No- [protected]. Finaly on 22/05/09 the service center employee Mr. Gagan rang me that your AC has been repaired and you reach at home that we will install the AC. after reaching home at 6 PM then again I got the call from service Centere that we can not deliver the AC as it is not working properly.

              After that again I make the call to M/s Gaurv Electronics and I told him regarding the inconvience I am feeling and I told him that kindly replace the AC. Mr. Gaurv said that I will revert back after getting the information from service center. I even told him to replace the Air condioner but he told me that he is helpless to replace it. and I can't do anything.

              Every first day hitachi dealer cheated with not giving installation kit.
              Second week gas recharged as it leaks
              End of the first season machine starts making ice.
              Second week gas recharged as it leaks no leakage cause found

              Third season leakage found on cooling coil technician told need to replace
              Now it is been brased(repaired) without my concent.

              Does anyone even read issues posted here. I am having a real hard time with teh Hitachi Service center in Delhi. Its been 17 days i logged a complaint and no one is there to fix my Windo 1.5 tonn AC.
              One of the biggest wrong decision taken to purchase HITACHI AIRCONDITION, product quality is not up to the mark, and if arise with any problem no body is there to resolve your proble, service part is very poor, not poor but too mutch pathatic, hence i have decided that i will not recomend any of my freiend, relative, collegue to purchase Hitachi peoduct

                I'd procured Hitachi L32A01A LCD TV looking at its specifications and thinking that its a renowned Japanese Brand. About a fortnight ago the TV stopped showing the picture and the complaint was logged at Hitachi Toll Free Customer Care number. Their technician came the next day and told us that the unit had to be taken to service centre as it could only be fixed there. Till date no one has come to pick up the TV and my TV is still unrepaired. The part required to fix TV problem is on its way for last so many days and the delay is at my cost.

                I requested their people through several mails to replace the TV set as they could not repair it in fair amount of time (and moreover people who undertsand LCD technology would agree that it hardly fails!).

                It's for people who think that Hitachi does not stand for "Inspire the Next" but 'Discourage the Next'!!!

                    I own a hitachi washing machine which is under warranty period.After numerous complaints one of their engineers visited us only to be told that a part needs to be replaced which is not available with them.Everyday I call them just to be told that the part is still unavailable.Its been more than a month that I am being told the same thing.I have also compalined at their website but there has been no response at all.Approaching the consumer forum is the last thing I can do, hopefully you can either get my washing machine repaired or get my money back so that I can buy from a more reliable company.

                      Hi,

                      We (a group of families) bought a couple of hitachi window AC s last year (March 2007) from
                      Air Dale Enterprises, 45A Khan Market, New Delhi.

                      And till date we haven't received any service from Hitachi and/or Air Dale even after repeated request over past 6 months or so.
                      We have been contacting Mr. Rajan Arora – [protected] and now he has stopped responding to the calls.

                      Is this the kind of customer service Hitachi believes in ?
                      Does anyone has any idea what do we need to do to get service from Hitachi.

                      Do we need to take a legal route (Consumer court).

                      Thats very true. Hitachi is good product. But service and attitude is worst. I would not recommend Hitachi products to anyone. As till its working its fine, but as soon as it comes to customer support - its nightmare. The problem is not there with perticular dealer or region, but its same all India.

                      These AC were installed and commissioned in June 2008. I want to bring few information to your kind notice that since the installation we are facing lots of problem Like
                      • 2 Motors of indoor units are not working from the day 1.
                      • Gas level is very less in the other three units causing very less cooling in the area.
                      • 2 Nozzles are still blocked.
                      • Water leakage
                      • Air distribution is not proper.
                      • Outer fans were broken 7 times.
                      Response of the vendor is very poor. They are still not able to resolve the issues which i have mentioned to you. Either the product is of poor quality or the team who has installed & commissioned the same is having less knowledge. We have gone for HITACHI due to its brand value, but i am sorry to say that so far i am having very bitter experience with HITACHI. In spite of our repeated requests this particular vendor is not competent enough to resolve these issues. Kindly look into these issues at the earliest otherwise i do not have any other option to go to the consumer court for all these issues to get resolved. Pl ensure all the AC units are functioning to our satisfaction.

                      I have 2 ACs worth Rs. 64000/- each from Air Dale Enterprises vide Invoice no. 1628 dated 29th June 2007. I had to fight with Air Dale for one month, to get these ACs installed. After one month when they were finally installed, they have not been working since then. I have been complaining to them since the past two months. No response from them yet...
                      Attached is an e-mail I have sent to Hitachi Branch Manager New Delhi Mr Mukherjee:

                      Dear Mr Mukherjee

                      On 25.05.2008 I approached Electronic World at B-212, Super Mart, DLF Phase IV, Gurgaon with the intention of purchasing an O-General 2 ton window airconditioner. I had been recommended an O General machine by friends who indicated that it was a quiet and reliable airconditioner. However when I met Mr.H.K. Sharma, the owner of Electronic World, he prevailed upon me to purchase a Hitachi machine which, according to him, was a quieter machine at a comparable price. He also suggested that I meet with you since you were visiting the market at the time. At our meeting you also informed me that the Hitachi machine was superior - this is understandable as you are an employee of the company. In support of your sales drive you gave me a copy of the Hitachi brochure entitled Uncomplicated Life - VI Series and pointed out that the noise level of the machine I was interested in was 47 dB whereas that of an O General was considerably higher. Based on your arguments and those of Mr Sharma I was persuaded to purchase a Hitachi machine the details of which are as follows:

                      2 Ton Quadricool TM window A.C. Serial No. 80 EO1970 Model No. RAV 024 60D. Invoice No. 3144 dated 26.05.08 from M/S Electronic World.

                      The machine was installed on 27.05.08 by the representative of Electronic World and commissioned on 29.05.08 by Mr. Prem Singh of Hitachi. Since the day of commissioning I have found the machine to be noisy making sleep impossible since it is installed in the bedroom. I have complained regularly to both you and the technical service staff and, though you have been sympathetic, your technical staff have done nothing in spite of 5 visits. I have been in contact with Mr Sandeep Gupta, Regional Service Manager, Mr Nikhil Gothwal, Area Service manager, Mr Rawat and sundry technicians who have visited my apartment through call centre call outs. I give below the details of what transpired in the last week which clearly shows the apathy, incompetence and utter disregard for customer service and the desire to listen and accept the voice of the customer on the part of Hitachi service managers and staff.

                      17.07.2008: Contacted Mr Sandeep Gupta ( his contact no. was given by you). Discussed the problem with him after which he said that he would send Mr Gothwal. I told him that Mr Gothwal had already been here once and that if he was coming again he should do so with a dB meter as I would like to measure the noise level and verify if it is 47dB which is the basis on which I purchased the machine. Mr Gupta told me that the noise level is under laboratory conditions and not at home. This came as a considerable surprise to me as nowhere in your brochure does it say that the noise level is measured under controlled conditions. Secondly, this was not mentioned either by Mr Sharma or by you when we met on the 25th May. In other words I was sold a machine whose specifications cannot be verified by a customer and therefore leads to suspicion that they are false and nothing but a sales gimmick. This is unfortunate coming from a Japanese company which, I am sure prides itself on quality. I am aware of the Japanese penchant for quality having been a supplier to Toyota, Honda and Nissan for 15 years in the UK, India and China.
                      When I mentioned to Mr Gupta that I have 5 other machines which are 8 years old but silent, he responded by saying that those machines must have reciprocating compressors.I informed him that so did the Hitachi machine. This came as a surprise to him and, whilst I was on the telephone he verified and confirmed this with another person. This is the extent of knowledge of your Regional Service Manager, particularly when the information is clearly available in your brochure.

                      Later in the day I received a call from Mr Gothwal and it was arranged that he would visit me on 21.07.08. He couldn't do so earlier. On the 19th I requested a change of date to 22.07.2008 as I was going to be out of Gurgaon on the 21st. Mr Gothwal had told me that he would call before coming.

                      22.07.2008: No call was received from Mr Gothwal, nor would he respond to my calls. When I could not contact Mr Gothwal, I called you and you said that you would send a senior technician who could take a decision regarding the state of the machine. I received a call from a Mr Rawat informing me that a technician would come between12 and 12.30 pm. When nobody turned up I called Mr Rawat and fixed a new time for 4pm. At about 4pm I received a call from technician Roop Singh. He asked me the number of times that Hitachi personnel had visited me. When I told him that technicians had already been 4 times he said that nobody will come now as the problem cannot be solved since a 2 ton machine is inherently noisy. His attitude was insulting, rude, argumentative and arrogant. As a result of what Roop Singh said I called you again and you arranged to send Mr Gothwal. He arrived at about 5pm with Roop Singh. I asked Roop Singh to leave my apartment because of his earlier attitude and because he had said that nohing could be done.

                      Mr Gothwal again heard the noise emanating from the machine and suggested that the slope be decreased to cure the problem of excessive noise. This was to be arranged for 23.07.2008.

                      23.07.2008. Nobody turned up to correct the slope of the machine. A day wasted.

                      24.07.2008. The same person who installed the machine came to reduce the slope of the machine. Regrettably the noise has not improved. I have been advised by outside experts that Hitachi reciprocating machines are noisy and nothing can be done.

                      Conclusion:

                      1. It is apparent that I have been sold a machine which is noisy as an individual, defective one or I have been sold a machine of a type which is basically and inherently noisy.
                      2. During the last 2 months, when I have faced the problem of this noisy airconditioner, I have found you to be supportive in attempting to solve the problem. In view of this I believe that this issue is best resolved between us rather than my approaching your senior management viz., Mr Shinichi Iizuka and others with my complaint.

                      Consequently I propose the following solutions:

                      a) If 2-ton reciprocationg compressor machines are not inherently noisy, then the present machine should be replaced with another one since the current one is defective, OR,

                      b) I would be prepared to accept a 1.5 ton rotary compressor machine with a refund of the price difference. I believe that rotary machines are less noisy, OR

                      c) I be given a complete refund and you take back your machine.

                      I look forward to an early response to my mail as I cannot possibly accept the present machine in this condition.

                      Read my email complaint to HITACHI for 1 year old LCD TV - AFTER SALES SERVICE

                      I had purchased a HITACHI 32" LCD TV chasis no. H7E003785 from Sony Mony Electronics Limited on 22.08.2007 invoice no. [protected]. Since last one and half months I have been facing a problem, that the TV starts and then suddenly on its own the Screen turns black / blank and only sound comes.



                      I have reported this problem to Hitachi tollfree helpline, but it took me around 10 days in excess of the normal warranty period. The reason for the same is that I did not realise that this was a grave technical problem in the LCD set, until it started to happen very frequantly.



                      Now that I have logged the complaint, the same has been forwarded to the authorised service center PARAS ELECTRONICS in Mumbai. Upon knowing that the TV set is just beyond the warranty period, they demand Rs. 1000 for visit and Rs. 2500 for service charges minimum. This is just ridiculous.



                      Firstly, One should not expect a defect in a product (costing Rs. 50, 000) of your company's repute in such a short time. Further, instead of considering the case on merits, the Company just goes by the book dates and warranty period. Thirdly there is only Paras Electronics who has been authorised to do these services, and hence being a monopoly they charge exhorbitant rates.



                      This makes me realise that I have done a grave mistake in Buying a product of a Company which does not take care of its customers, and do not have proper after sales service services in Mumbai (Metro City), which a customer can count on incase of any problems.



                      I seek urgent help in this matter, and would request that on grounds of merit the TV set is repaired with a proper assessment that the product does not become faulty within such a short time.

                      I had bought a Hitachi Window AC of 1.5 Tons just 3 months back.Within a month's time there were numerous problems with the machine and to my worst nightmare the AC stopped functioning.After repeatitive calls to the Customner care, the concerned person came home only to take away the AC and not return it until we called him for the 50th time.

                      We purchased a refrigerator of Hitachi make, it has been giving problems since day one and almost every major part has been replaced now but the damn thing still breaks down every other month.

                      We have been tired of chasing Hitachi to get it repaired and seems like we will be better off buying a new one and disposing this one off.

                      After sales services is horrible, their website just provides a call centre number and a centralised email id - no mention of any Hitachi employee or his contact details with whom you follow up. So you can keep calling and writing emails but will never get timely response and if problem gets worse they just stop replying !

                      Despite charging the premium over other brands, product quality and after sales service is not worth the investment. Would strongly advise people not to buy Hitachi.

                      Hitachi world-wide decalred some $8bn annual loss so no wonder they are dumping inferior products in the market and milking the market before the company drowns.

                      We have been speaking to Ajay Sethi and Anuj Gupta at Hitachi but both are hopeless guys.

                      We bought a Hitachi AC at Lucknow in Feb 2008. Sometime back the AC started giving out foul smell. On calling the customer service guy, the response we got was that the chap asked us to use room freshner. Can u believe this response coming from an customer care guy. Contacting others has also not helped. Hitachi ppl just dont seem to care about after services once ther product is sold. Our complaint number is[protected]. Hope u ppl do something about it.

                      It’s more than two months since I bought the Hitachi AC (with "FOLLOW ME") from Electronic World Supermart Gurgaon. Since the day AC has been installed, its follow-me feature is not working. I complained at least 50 times to the following people: dealer (“Electronic World Gurgaon”), Hitachi’s Branch support / sales manager (“Mr. Mukherjee”), area manager (“Mr. Viney Kapil”), City manager (“Mr. Rawat”), local Hitachi support engineer (“Roop Singh”). None of them know how “Follow me” feature works and none of them can explain why it is not working at my place. Now no one from Hitachi is ready to take the responsibility and do anything. I am feeling grossly cheated by the company. I am fed up of doing follow up with the above mentioned guys. It seems as if I did some crime taking the Hitachi AC. Can we do something together and reach some top bosses in the company, who can take the necessary action?

                      Ok now that the indoor unit's cover / panel has been fixed properly (which was creating a problem with the light display because apparently some "rubbers" were missing from there), the AC ain't functioning properly!! When I turn the AC on, it automatically shuts down within a minute!! Actually, it only takes a few seconds to do that!!

                      On the other hand (about the outdoor unit "noise problem") it seemed fine for whatever little amount of time I could run the AC, let's see what the result is over time.

                      Moreover, I would like to request you to kindly get everything sorted out with this unit. And if you are having a hard time getting it fixed, kindly replace the unit with a new one a.s.a.p.

                      This is in reference to the service provided to me for my 2.0 ton Hitachi ACE Split AC on July 8th, 2009.

                      As you know, your men had visited my residence (in my absence; only my servant was present here) to replace the blown-up fuse on the indoor unit of the air conditioner. After replacing the fuse they have not fixed the front cover / panel properly, which gives a very distorted view of the power LED / light on the unit. This is a display of a very amateur level of workmanship provided by Hitachi; and must be fixed a.s.a.p.

                      Moreover, as per my telephonic conversation with Mr. Vinay Kapil in the evening of July 8th, you also need to send your service attendants to fix the "outdoor-unit-noise" problem. This is the third or the fourth time that I'm complaining of the same noise issue ever since the unit has been installed at my Gurgaon residence; in less than two months. Kindly send some expert technicians to fix the problem once and for all.

                      I do not appreciate this amateur level of workmanship and the sloth-paced services provided by you; kindly do something about it.

                      SICK AND Lousy product and service of HITACHI. Unscrupulous product is the Quadricool. They promised double blow, but never realised, the blow is on my MONEY AND COMFORT. Does any one respond?
                      I had bought a Hitachi window AC from Super Cool Engineers Velachery Chennai on 25/06/08. They had come for regular service for the first 2 times, but for the last service they came on 21/6/09 but and 9.00 pm but they were refused entry inside the house as there was nobody in the house except my 2 young daughters and moreover that was not the right time to come for servicing an AC. They were asked to come the next day or any other day feasible to them – during day time.

                      But they turned up only on 25/7/09 which is after the expiry of the warranty period. On cleaning the AC and connecting the wires to the motor of the swing which was left hanging during the previous service, it was noticed that the left swing was not working. The service mechanic who had come told that the motor was not working and needs replacement. And he told that this would be replaced within the next 2 days.

                      After 3 days I called up the dealer, they said the warranty of AC was over, but however they shall check and revert back. But again after a lapse of 6 -7 days after waiting for their call (which they never do) I went to their establishment and enquired, they said they will get back to me in a days time. And this time they did call back saying that the warranty has expired and the replacement of the motor will cost around Rs. 450.00, which I will have to pay.

                      Now the delay on their part in not coming for service in time, in which they could have identified the problem while doing the service, is now costing me this.

                      And moreover I had complained to them before that the swings are not working.

                      Please look into this issue and have the motor replaced without any cost under warranty.

                      I, Kuldip Grover, resident of C-326 Sector, Gamma – I, Greater Noida, (PIN 210308) Uttar Pradesh, India purchased 42’’ HITACHI make LCD TV (Model No: L420X01A) from M/s Kay Dee Electronics, 1B-1, Opposite Metro Station, Sector 18, Noida-201301, (INDIA) vide invoice no. 491 dated 14/04/08.



                      Since last few days the referred TV has developed a particular snag of showing shadowed & unclear pictures & light horizontal bands traveling from top to bottom. I have reported the matter to Hitachi Customer Service (Delhi[protected] /[protected] over telephone on 04/09/09 vide complaint no. 040909UP013.



                      I have been informed by the service centre engineer telephonically (without actually visiting by house & analyzing the problem face to face) that the problem seems to be in the main board of the TV set & the approximate cost of the concerned part would be roughly 25, 000/= INR.



                      Considering the prevailing reduced market cost of the similar new LCD TV’s since last year, this seems to be an exorbitant price. I am a repeat customer of Hitachi with earlier purchase of AC of the same brand from same dealer. I have been a satisfied customer of Hitachi with strong recommendation of the brand to many other probable customers in the area of my residence & official circle.



                      Now I am finding it very difficult to come out of the situation as approximately 1 year is two small a time for the replacement of costly item like 42’’ LCD TV.



                      You are requested to kindly help me resolve the issue by getting the TV repaired or replaced & relieve me of the agony or otherwise I would be compelled to review my brand loyalty for HITACHI

                      Complaint every year is ritual now, disgusting I'd say. Not a year without complaint of this Hitachi AC, installed 2 years back...

                      Last year service people came at least 10 times, to find out fault.. and when it was diagnosed, it had to be from their end only...

                      They had installed WRONG fan motor...

                      They admitted their fault and replaced it...of no use, as the same is not working again...

                      Its a sure pain now to have Hitachi...

                      From the very first time I walked through your doors, "no problem" and "we'll take care of you" were your staff's words. Obviously, they were lying. Is this how you would treat a member of your family or a close friend? Would you expect someone you loved to accept this behavior? Unless you are a person with absolutely no compassion, it's highly doubtful.

                      this is to once again register my complaint that the same AC is vibrating very badly, even after expert handling of your repair team. since purchase this is my nth complaint. i sincerely hope now from such a professional company that you will surely replace it, as it can not be repaired by you.

                      after having some good experience wirh Carrier and Local assembled ACs at my home, i went for Hitachi. from one of the exhibitions at chandigarh i purchased Quadricool with invoice number 185, from m/s Utility, sect 35-B, in the name of Dr Sneh .

Model Qudricool ELD. within 6 months of purchase, it started giving technical snag. Without fail, constatntly, this AC has gone into one or the other trouble. Every time not only I (and my whole family) has gone through physical uncomfort, but even mental torture. Even last year with when Fan motor got tecnical snag, your service center people came and replaced it, I had to pay some 1800 odd Rs. to them, which stopped working within 6 months!! then your service center (Saini Brothers, Chandigarh) replaced it with REPAIRED motor, saying as and when the new will come they will replace it with same. It's now been a year or more, nobody came to replace it, and then once again it has stopped workin!!!Is their any end to my night mares.. Through this mail I hereby request you to please look into it, replace the AC, or let some competent person look into it, what is the problem with my AC that it had gone through so many complains...

The co engineer was called and he said that the repair involves a cost of RS 50000/- and the liquid has spilled because of mishandling. In fact we have used it with utmost care and has never been shifted from it's original position.                       Hitachi is the worst customer service company .
                      I had purchased window AC 1.5 ton Quadricool TM RAV018EQDZI on 21march 10 from Raj electronics (D-9 Mohan Singh market, Sect VI, R.k.Puram New Delhi 110022 ).
                      The Ac turned out to be faulty after the installation, the person who came to do the installation kept on calling the dealer to tell the status of the AC but he didn't receive the call for about 30 minutes after having spoken to the Shop Owner Mr. Rajesh there is no satisfactory response. I have already made the full payment to him as agreed on the time of sale the payment was in the form of Cheque no. 294036 Dt 23/3/2010 for the amount of 28000/- and cash Rs. 500.the dealer had sent the AC on Delivery Challan no: 7194 and did not issue invoice although he had charged VAT.
                      made hundreds of calls. the customer care executives usually hung up the call after 2 mins of hold. spoken to so many area head managers and what not but no action till date.

                      the call was attended on 14/4 with call no.[protected] which i understand is just to take the visiting charges of Rs 300/=). i was told to bet the gas filled to which i agreed.

                      on 15/4 when they came they found the blower also broken and asked to replace it . they filled up nitrogen in the outdoor unit and went back saying they would be back with the blower the next day .

                      THEY HAVE NOT TURNED UP SINCE THEN TILL TODAY --20/4/2010---5DAYS

                      i have been calling them on a daily basis and was told they would be coming every time i called up till 17/4 when i was told that the blower would be available on 18/4 and would be put up on 19/42010 by 1400hrs .

                      on 19/4 i called up with my problem at your helpline and the call was attended by Mr Micheal who put me through a conference call with the franchise (attended by mr pardeep who LIED that the gas had been filled and the blower had come and would be installed in the morning of 20/4(this can be verifed at your end as the calls are recorded)after the call was cut from the hitachi that he told me that the delay was due to the death of the brotherof the shops proprietor .r

                      today on 20/4 i have called them 4 times and was attended by -mr majid, mr naved(who kept me on line for 5 min on the pretext that mr pradeep was on the other line and disconnected me ), and the mr sarvar who said that the blower would be installed by 1900hrs . i called up at 2000hrs and am told by Mr Ajit that the blower is yet not available either with the company !!!or in the market and the earlier brought blower was installed with other customer ??? and i should talk with Mr Pankaj aggarwal

                      i think your franchise is running a racket of selling your spare products like blowers in the open market and only interested with collecting the visiting charges and strongly recommend that you look into the matter . I am also putting the entire incident to the consumer forum also for deficiency in service if no remedial action is taken . unfortunately am not able to get to your helpline as it is busy all time i dialed it

                      i have got 3 AC of your company with me and was thinking of going for anther one this year but am having second thoughts about it now as i feel you are not able to provide the required services after selling your product and find no reason to believe that it is better than any other Indian AC which is available at a much cheaper rate in the market .

                      We have had a similar experienceafter buying 2 Hitachi Acs and a fridge from Raj Electronics in RKPuram, We were sold a faulty machine, dealer refused to take responsibility, Hitachi service staff tried to convince us to settle for repairs on a new machine instead of replacing it.Finally after almost a month of non-action by Hitachi and Raj Electronics we filed a complaint with Consumer forum. Their advice and action helped and finally We got a new machine. Needless to say we will never be buying or recommending Hitachi in future. I wish there was some way of checking crooked dealers like Raj Electronics as well. Their business practices are practically criminal.
                      I do agree that the service after sales for Hitachi is very very poor. I had purchase window AC in 2006 in Kalyan.
                      After the six month problem was noticed in Control Panel. Dealer has repaied the panel instead of replacing it.
                      However we are regularly facing the problem in control of panel. Even there is not authorised service centre in & around kalyan.
                      Dealers own people comes for servicing on request but as they are not fully trained, every time some or other proble is occuring regularly for the AC.

                      HItachi Appliances — Worst Customer Support by Hitachi-A Brand in Itself

                      We wish we do not have to write at public forum for issues as trivial as servicing of AC and that too in respect of a reputed brand like HITACHI. However we are sorry to say that Hitachi after sales services is pathetic and frustrating in India.



                      During June & July 2010 Hitachi India has registered Multiple Complaints for service of same Air Conditioners one after another for routine service of an split 1 Tonne Hitachi AC installed at a prominent location in New Delhi. The AC was also purging water inside the room. Probably the drainage is choked.

                      However till date servicing has not been done. The AC was installed in JUNE 2008. No service has been provided even in the normal one year of warranty period. In July 2010 somebody purportedly on behalf of Hitachi came and took Rs 300, did something with indoor unit, did not touch outdoor unit, promised to come back for proper service, but never came back. Still the water is being purged inside room by AC.



                      The complaint has been lodged on Hitachi Global website as well, but it is of no anvil. So Hitachi buyers be aware of after sales services of Hitachi. As a buyer you pay more price for Hitachi Products on one hand and suffer for no after sales service on other hand.
                      Hitachi is a brand and producing a wide range of products throughout the world..But after sales service is now worse in india. Do not know why company down its image...I LUV HITACHI but Sorry after sales service is essential for any product to get popular..
                      I agree with the worst support in india. I am in mysore, karnataka. We have a LCD projector CP-X417 on 09/04/2010 Inv no. 11079 from Megatronics Mysore, now we are facing VGA display problem in the projector. Complaint logged on to local service center (HCL infosystems) on 14/02/11 and the projector has been delivered to service center on 17/02/11 ( since no service engineer visited our place ), till now the complaint is not solved . This is the kind of service normally no one expect from a company which is well known to its product. Really it is shame on the hitachi management.
                      I do agree with the worst services of Hitachi.I belong to Agra and purchased 2 Split AC(1.5 Tonne each) from Digital world, SR Mall, Agra and there was a blunder mistake done fron either dealer side or from Hitachi.After delievery of these AC's on 14/03/2011 we found that remotes were missing from packing and I made a complaint against this problem to Digital World(Mr. Sheroz - [protected] and Mr. Kapil -[protected]).After 4 days neither these guys have delievered me required remotes nor given any satisfactory reply.

                      This is really auckward situation for me that I went with Hitachi opposing my family members forcing me for other brands, now I am unable to answer and only thing which is left with me is to make a written complaint in consumer forum.

                      I have been experiencing such a high level of dis-satisfactory response from one of the so called best brands (HITACHI) available in the market. They provide such a poor service. The people at customer care center do not have manners to talk to their customers. They make sweeping statements with false and exaggerated commitments which they rarely fulfill on time. Not just this much, the people sitting at the service station are illiterate and they do not have the etiquettes to listen up to the customer's problem. Nor do they feel the responsibility to pick up the phone and reply back to the customers. Highly poor service, third grade quality, low customer attention are some of the best qualities of this cheap brand. Will never recommend anyone to go for this brand.                       I had lodged a complaint of “no cooling” of my Air conditioner on 1st May, 2011.The service request number is [protected]. At that it was committed that the complaint will be attended by our engineer within 48 hours. As of now five days has been passed but no one turned up or even called for attending the call. For the past three days I am continuously calling at call centre numbers but no respite. No one has the visibility about the status of complaint, every time executive ensures that the same will get attended within two hour or so but after seven days status is same. They have informed me that call has been allocated to the engineer named Sunil. They had also provided me the numbers of Patparganj Service centre but after my repeated tries I am unable to speak at service centre as no one is picking up the phone. It is first time I had purchased any Item of Hitachi and I was very satisfied till date with the product. But I am very disappointed with the after sales services.
                      I too have faced such trouble from Hitachi and am still facing it. I bought a Hitachi AC on the 1st of may. After 2 days i was told that i have to register a request for installation on my own. I registered a request on the 4th of may, and i too was told that the AC would be installed in 48-72hrs. But its been 7 days now, and still no response. even after repeated calls. All the executives have to say the same thing that i have forwarded your request, and I can't do anything beyond this.
                      I was given the service center numbers, but nobody answers the phone.
                      I am very disappointed with Hitachi, even without using the product.
                      No use spending extra on such a brand, as compared to other cheaper brands, when you cant even use the product for so long!!

Last yr it was working fine so I made the AMC for Rs1950 for this yr. But nw AC is not cooling. My complaint is pending from 27th of April and no bugger is ready to come and attend. Every time they have new excuses but not doing anything.

                      Beware of worst services, un professional attitude of customer caree representatives and worst response of dealers.It happens with 99 out of 100 customers who prefers Hitachi product. Although the products are good; after sales services are not only poor; it is almost impossible to get even response from the company. If you have purchased your product from Delhi or Chennai; you have no other option than to contact the customer care of Ahmedabad.
                      We have purchased Hitachi make window A/c from the dealer M/s Modern Systems in Dwarka Sector 10 and when we approached the dealer regarding service; the simple answer of the dealer was that he could not help as the response of Hitachi is worst and suggested us for not purchasing any Hitachi product in future. The service request was registered by us to their ahmedabad office on 7th May 2011 and till date no body bothered to attend the same. Really amazing!
                      Now we have no option than to go for consumer court

                      I had purchased one 1.2T AC last summer from Vijaya sales. The day, hitachi engineer installed the machin, I found some defect in the functioning. I complained but it remained unattended. When I asked Vijaya sales, they do not take the rsponsibility of after sales service.This is one of the worst after sales service i have ever seen. I am struggling for last one year to get the complaint attended.They came once and did some minor service and the main problem remains unattended. I had booked the trouble ticket and it is of no use.                       I have had a similar experience. I had bought a Quadricool A/c last year and it had some problems wherein it was not cooling at all. The technician came to my house after 8 days of the compalint being logged onto the customer service number after repeated calls on a daily basis . He could not even open the front Grill of the A/C and told me that the compressor has to be changed and that I have to pay him INR 330 +2380+330 for the same and the same will be returned back in one day. Today is day 5 and after my repeated calls to the service station and one Mr. Patel in Hitachi Gurgaon (A man who is not fit to be in customer service) was promised the A.c will be fixed back today i, e July 14th b4 2pm. They are only worried about INR 2000 odd which has to be paid for service thats all... I think i made the biggest mistake by buying a Hitachi product.

                      I have bought a 1.5 Ton (4 star rating) AC in april 2011. The power supply unit of this AC failed a week back and they have yet to replace it because this part is not available !
                      Needless to add that it is only me who calls their call center (& the local delhi no. of their service provider) everyday. Hitachi customer care is just not bothered to even keep me updated.
                      Meanwhile, the AC cover and panel etc are lying opened in my bedroom for the last one week, waiting for repairs!

LG Aircon, almost half the price of Hitachi, is cooler and troublefree. The service guys come down and clean up or service the conditioner, but nothing changes, the red indicator(supposed to be indicator of service requirement) was manually turned off after service. At 18 degree, the room is warm. Bloody hell! I will never recommend Hitachi to anyone.

                      I bought a Window AC from Rathan Fan house on May 1st. After visiting all showrooms, i made a selection in Hitiachi AC showroom. They demonstrated a of window AC. I opted that AC model and asked the sales person to bill for that Model. They executed the sales and i got the AC box supplied to me on the same day.
                      Next day, when i was not in home, they sent a installation person. I was ok to install the AC without seeing anything inside the box.
                      Installation was done. After i came back from office, i saw the AC installed; and though of operating once to see how it is doing. There i realised that there is slight difference in the AC display panel.
                      I though of checking in Internet about the model they supplied. Then only i realized that the Rathna fan house has shown a higher model and billed & supplied a low end model. After doing little research on Internet i understands that the model they have shown to me was TM (twine Motor) and the model they supplied was QC (Quick Summer Cool).

                      First i felt cheated for this model change. I called RFH, they asked me to come directly with bill. When i went there, the person in the showroom - Hitachi stall, said that they can not change the piece because its already installed. After some argument and explaining to them that their side mistake was accepted by him and he said that he will speak to HITACH people to get the model what i have choose. Nothing has happened as of now. 1 moth has gone.

                      When i make a call to HITACHI customer case, i realized second point i got cheated by RFH. They are suppose to send HITACHI person for installation. That is what HITACHI is expecting to do by a Dealer. But RFH has sent a carpenter to do installation. Which make HITACHI to reject any warranty due to unauthorised technician installation.

                      After speaking to Hitach CS, i come to know that the i got cheated for price also. They said, the price of the AC they have supplied is lowest in Chennai City. But they sold it for MRP.

                      Please let me know how to make HITACHI to understand the problems in my case. As a customer, i am expecting to be told about the different model the RFH is billing than the one shown to me. You may ask question of don't i check the model. Two reasons make me not to do the checking:
                      1. The belive on the RFH and a natural expectation that when i opt a model and paying to the price for the model, i did not expected Dealter to manipulate in-between because of Non-stock model. Later speaking to the service person, i come to know that they don't have TM model in stock.
                      2. I am not educated by the sales team in HITACHI showroom that there is one another model which is similar to the TM model, which is QC. As i am not aware of the existence of another model, my intuition did not work to check the model they are billing and supplying.

                      After all, when i report this issue to the floor in-charge person, he just said that i am asking for model change because i did not like it after installation. Which, they can not entertain. How is this? Just kick me out without understanding the pain point of customer.

                      If i buy from local small dealer, i may be paying same or less that RFH. But they speak out clearly before selling or at-least consumer will be little cautious because of no brand image like RFH. But for RFH kind of dealers doing this kind of business by cheating customer like me; just for the sake of selling.

                      I dislike RFH due to the way they handled my sales, post sales response.

                      Hitachi India — Deny to Replace a part damage by their engineer

                      I own a Hitachi AC RAU514ERD 1.2T SPL. This is under warranty. The AC was working fine.

                      I had service engineer who came the do the routine/ regular service as part of after sales service agreement.

                      During the service activity the one of the part (Lock cover of indoor unit) was broken by engineer due to mishandling of the parts.
                      He somehow just fixed it temporarily and went away without filing the service report saying that he will back soon to complete the service.
                      We were unaware of the fact the part has been broken by him and we were told by the another engineer in the next visit that the part is broken and need to be replaced at our cost as parts are not under warranty.
                      My complain is that why should I bear the cost of a part that was broken by their engineer during service activity due to mishandling / negligence of work.
                      I need replacement or compensation of the part as this not due to wear and tear of the part… but negligence of the engineer in doing his service job.

                      My A/C is not working well from the last few days. On 24/05/2013, I had submitted my complaint to your centre (Complaint no. [protected]) that was attended to by S.S. Enterprises, Nehru Enclave, Alipur, New Delhi.

                      Mr. Vikas had come to my place but was UNABLE to find a fault. He charged his visit of Rs. 330 and told me that he would attend to all calls in 1 month.
                      However, our AC was still not working and Mr. Vikas refused to come when I called him again.
                      I submitted a repeat complaint to your service centre on 25/05/2013, and was told that Mr Vikas is deputed for my complaint, and that my complaint would be attended to within 8 working hours.
                      Its 27/05/2013 today, and my complaint has still not being attended to.
                      I called up Mr. Vikas again, but he again refused to come.

                      I feel harassed and extremely disappointed by the service from Hitachi.

                      i've purchased 1.5 ton hitachi split AC from a well rocgnised dealer in samalkha(panipat), haryana. within a month i faced very-2 serious problem with my AC. it stopped working finally. I went to the dealer, he calledthe concerned person in front of me. but no response. again i went to him, same thing happened. The service head in our zone was talking rubbish to both o[censored]s the dealer as well as me. He said to us " more u call, more i delay in service".
                      such people are seriously spoiling the brand hitachi. the person who is misbehaving is MR MANDEEP SINGH, SERVICE HEAD, HARYANA (PH. [protected] ) This person is really a spot on the company. He is the biggest non-sense, ill-mannered i've ever seen in my life.

                      I had a compressor problem and it was replaced as my compressor is on warranty. Even for that they charged Rs.4750 from me. I am fine with the charges if they would have properly fixed the issue.

                      Worst servicing I have ever seen in my life with any of the products. Poor customer service. I lost my money, my time, my patience with this product. I switched 2 ACs one 2 yrs back and one last year on 16.05.14. The second one was not cooling therefore I called customer care number several times but their telephone is always busy.I then wrote an email on 25.04.14 which was reverted back after 15 days providing a tel no. of local dealer. When I protested the complaint was registered on 12.05.14 for service request. Two days later technicians visited and conducted the servicing and told that the problem has been rectified which was not correct. I again lodged complaint by email on 23.05.14 and on helpline number on 24.05.14 which was reverted back providing the service request number [protected] for service of AC which will be attended shortly. No action was taken then despite my repeated reminders on email as well as on helpline till 29.05.14. Everytime helpline people apologized and informed that they are sending reminders to Lucknow service centre to attend the complaint immediately. They never provided the contact number or email of Sr. executives. Only on 29.05.14 another complaint was registered suo moto vide req. no. [protected] for no cooling and the technicians visited and informed that the gas has been leaked and it will be charged as the warranty expired on 16.05.14. After gas charging it was returned after ten days. Again the gas leaked after one and half months. the complaint was regd on 19.08.14 and attended on 20.08.14 and stated that the unit will be sent to workshop for gas filling. however nobody turned up after 4 days despite daily reminders and follow up with the workshop.
                      Result: Never buy Hitachi
                      Are you going to purchase HITACHI AC ??? or any other product from HITACHI ? ? ? THINK AGAIN .NO one is going to listen to you . It will be purely wastage of time, money &amp; energy .                       It was not turning on even though the Voltage Stablizer was giving the desired output.

                        HI,

                        This is with respect to a ICICI lombard 6lak insurance policy.I have received a phone call saying i have been selected for this policy and i have agreed to go ahead with it, and i was told that the policy would be activated in 21 days and the document would be sent to me.

                        ITs already more than two months.I have nither received a document or any communication on this.

                        More over the Premium amount has started reflecting in my ICICI Credit card statement.

                        Kinldy help me or advice me how can i get this regularised or get this cancelled.

                        Please help.

                          after installation AC not working

                          I bought 2 split 1.5 ton hitachi AC from company direct billing .Durga electronics in Pitam pura Delhi Installed the ACs. After two days when we switched on the AC there was no cool air from them. we complained to Hitachi some executives came and said it is not company fault only the Durga electronic will mend the complaint. when we contacted them they said it is not their fault only the company will do this.Where to go and what to do ? Hitachi...

                          The Hitachi authorised dealer located in DLF-Supermart sucks big time . Please Please DO NOT BUY from them.
                          Once you go to their shop, they speak very nicely but the moment you pay them the amount, they start showing their true colours. BEWARE of them ...

                          the Hotel Galaxy in gurgaon sector 15 part two sucks big time . His GM is very rude with the customers or member who they are since last three years with them in spa. Please Please DO NOT BUY a gym and spa membership from them from.

                            i purchased a hitachi window ac from relience digital, Shipra Mall, Gaziabad. after the istallation hitachi people come for demo and they find out that ac motor was not working.
                            after that they write the report and go back.
                            and till date they are ready for repairing but not for replacement.
                            Logically they sell a defective peace and after that they deny for replacment. i called up relience manager ms. Vaishali several time but she just given me another person no. and said that ac can only be repaired. this is after sale service which relience people is providing you.

                              Respected Sir,

                              I had purchased Hitachi A/C from Vijay Sales (Charni Road east) during Diwali i.e. 07/11/07, delivered on 10/11/07 and installed on 14/11/07. The A/C has defect in its “Sweep motor”. I informed Vijay Sales and requested them to replace the faulty one with a new Hitachi A/C which is properly working in all respects. Vijay Sales is of the opinion that they will not give new A/C replacement but will change the “Sweep motor”.

                              Here I would like to put forth – A new purchase is done with an idea that there will not be any fault for at least a couple of years, now keeping this in mind I am feeling cheated by Vijay Sales for giving a defective piece.

                              Here I request your help in instructing Vijay Sales to give us a proper working new piece.
