I have purchased 2.0 ton spit a/c of hitachi from ahmedabad dealer. The remote of this a/c was not working so i contacted dealer and he generated breakdown request no. [protected] on date 04/06/2018.
Till 07/06/2018 i kept silence but when nothing happened i contacted the dealer on 08/06/2018 and asked the status of my complain and they told that they have talked with hitachi service person and he is saying it will take 3 to 4 days. So i asked his contact and get his e-mail id on which i posted mail. Also i contacted customer care of ahmedabad and they gave me his mobile no. On contacting him on phone he told to collect remote from dealer on saturday. Also he replied this in my mail also.
But on saturday remote was not send to dealer. When dealer person contacted him he told that he has send it in courier you will get it. On monday when i contacted dealer they said that he is saying that remote is in warehouse send somebody to collect it. Dealer person send his men to collect it but return without remote as it was not there. Since last 2 days i tried to contact service person but he is not picking my phone. Also i had long chat regarding my problem on jci-hitachi website "live chat services option" but they also are not able to get my problem solved.
To-day i tried to contact service person from my land line phone and may be it was different number so he picked my call and now he is saying that he had only one remote and he has given it to another dealer who has raised complaint before me. Now you have to wait for more 4 to 5 days. This means that my complain may be solved after 13 days but not sure.
I request you to help me in getting my complain solved as early as possible.in 43 degree temperature i am not able to use my a/c since last 8 days and not sure how many more days i have to do away without my a/c.

When your team will contact and in how many days, weeks, months or years my complain will be solved. To day is 8th day after registering complain and till now your team is not having time. This means that Hitachi is having too many complains which they are not able to escalate or they don't care to solve complain.

To day is 11th day of my complain and still you are asking for little more time. How many days are required from you to solve one small problem of A/C remote. If you are not able to solve today my problem please take back your A/C I don't want it and refund my money back.

    It has been month and i didn't get any resolution from hitachi.

    I have also logged a complaint on your customer care number here are complaint numbers which have raised to hitachi just for one problem.

    One of the poorest service i have ever experienced in my life from your dealer and local service centre

    Problem: on of hitachi's split ac's is not cooling properly. After visiting technician number of times but no permanent solution is made yet. As i have a store of flowers and cake there is a great loss of my earnings as due to ac is not working. I would suggest to replace my ac or change my compressor without any cost.

    I am regularly following up with customer support but now i'm fed up and not getting any permanent support. I'm mentally disturbed with such a pathetic response.

      Purchased new ac but it was defective. First said will replace it in 10 days. Now they saying it may take 2 week more. I lodge complain on 28 may. And on 3 june the problem was sloved and product was replaced is showing in hitachi application but in actually nothing is happend till now.. Now they are saying its in under process. So please help me out.

        Hi,

        I've purchased hitachi invertor ac on 8th june 2014 as the latest model in the market - rau108huea.
        Power supply to ac was always proper and with stabilizer.

        Just after one year, one warranty expitration5 on august 2015, it got issue and took rs 4800 for repair.
        Now from 29-april-2018, its power pcb of indoor unit got bad and hitachi is not able to support it (Just 4 years old product).

        I escalated the calls to their lever -3 support, but no resolution yet.

        Sequencing as follows:

        -

        Register compliant number: [protected] on sunday 29-april-2018.
        - first got a call - to confirm technician visit.
        - call attended on same day by hitachi service technician.
        He told, there is issue in power pcb and asked us to provide rs 500/-,
        Seems to us, he was only interested for rs 500 - not to correct the ac.

        - he makes us fool for 2 days that he told i have to contact call center to get further service.
        I realize and call on 01-may-2018 to call center - and found - there was no status update /part repair /replacement request updated by technician / by service center.

        - from call center - first i got number - on call, it was found the number is of dehradoon, uttrakand.
        I. E. A far city and state from ghaziabad, uttar pradesh and as expected, they told they can't help.

        - then in another call to call center on may 02-2018, i got two numbers - both numbers are always swiched off - permanently. (Tried multple times on different times and days).

        - found sahara refrigation number and got the reply from there, they will update - but never update.
        - got call from a new number, just got ensurance, they will update but never got update.

        - on 3rd-may-2018, another technician visited - and told us, he is from company and detected the same (Power pcb) issue.

        - on 4th-may-2018, i called - technician - and found it will take 3-4 days to arrange the faulty pcb.
        - on 4th-may-2018, i got the call to provide the model number of the product.
        - on 4th may -2018 got a call, the person told he is calling from hitachi ahemedabad and asking about status.
        (I got another compliant number: [protected] - after this call, i think its for hitachi internal purpose - i'm considring, continuation of [protected])

        - on 5th-may-2018 early morning, sent email and whatsapp to technician and confirm with him on phone that he received photo to tag, which has model number

        - on 5h-may-2018, - a new person visited home and took the indoor and outdoor serials/ model numbers again.

        - on 9th-may2018, i followed with technicians - he gave me the number of manager for further followup as he is in field.
        Manager told he'll update the status.

        - on 9th-may2018, i got the call technician - he told me it will take another 2-3 days to get the respective pcb from ahemedabad.
        Called call center to followup on spare parts - but they can't commit any timeline on which the spare parts would be available and got the message that i might have to wait indefinate.

        - on 11 may 2018 - got the call ahemedabad, that got the assurance that it will take 7 working days to arrange the parts.

        - on 20 may 2018 - called call ceter and get the response, i'll get a call on monday (21-may-2018) from the person assinged from hitachi, ahemedabad.
        - no call received on monday 21st-may-2018

        - logged level 1, escaltion at hitachi website on 21st-may-2018
        - got and message from hitachi "we have lodged yours complain and your reference number is 47040b87fb6" - if not reolved within 24 hours, can be escalted to next level.
        Mr. Kardam.

        - call call center on 22-may-2018, no updates with them - expect part is still not availalble.

        - on 23-may-2018, try for escalation level-2 - but no option to escalate - only complaint number: * and nle code: * options are there.
        Although a yellow message is showing "please wait for 24 hour/'s. Our hitachi support team will contact you shortly. Please note if your issue not resolved within 24 hrs. You can escalate your issue to next level.!"

        - on 25-may-2018, able to escatate on level -2 with following message:

        Dear sir/madam,

        Level 1 escalation - provides no resolution yet.

        - now on 25-may-2018, escaling to level - 2, as no resolution yet.

        - please let me know, whether ather hitachi is able to fix its own product (Inverter ac), that just four to five years old?

        Thanks and regards,

        Got screen message:
        "we have received your complaint and our escalation team will contact you within 24 hours".

        Call call center on 29-may-2018, to understand the status but - they just keep putting remainder to service team.

        On 29-may-2018, escalte to level - 3, with following message:

        Dear sir/madam,

        Level 1 and level 2 escalation - provides no resolution yet.

        - now on 29-may-2018, escaling to level - 3, as no resolution yet.

        - please let me know, whether ather hitachi is able to fix its own product (Inverter ac), that just four to five years old?

        Got the message on screen "we have received your complaint and our escalation team will contact you within 24 hours."

        But never get an update.

        On proper investigation found - hitachi products are not durable at all - probably they are putting timers to broke their product - so the user should go for new one.
        I've found i'm not the only one facing the issue.

        Although in entire market none of the hitachi product is working for 10 years.

        If you are looking for durable product for domestic use - so hitachi is not the one.

        Our government should take actions to these culprits selling these type of products in india.

        Totally wasted my money and need to throw and highest price ac in garbage as there is no support of the product from hitachi and at local market these products cannot be repaired.

        Total waste.
        I have much older lg and voltas ac’s but never faces this type of issue.

          Hitachi is the worst company ever with pathetic customer service. We purchased a 625 l refrigerator worth rs 70000 and from the first day it has not been cooling. The peice was defective and even after repeated calling in peak summer no one comes... After calling again and again and complaining the technicians who came to fix were untrained and cud not understand the problem. They are charging us for visits and asking us to get the parts replaced.. Shame on the customer service and product service... Hitachi people wake up and take some action...

            I recently had my hitachi window front panel replaced for rs 4000/- but it only lasted for 10 days. I asked the company to replace it but they denied. It was really surprising to see that the company did not replace\fix it as it has got crack in only 10 days after new part installation.

            Date of replacement: 19-may-2018

            It has been one month after Company's last response (on 31st May) still no one has come up to fix the issue.

            So to update on this, I have got few calls from Hitachi, wherein earlier I was assured that they will send someone to fix the issue, but later on the company is trying to convince me that panel will not break itself.

            I want to make it clear here that nobody would intentionally break something within a week of installation that was purchased for Rs 4000/-

            I think Company needs to improve on its customer support. Firstly, I have never seen cracking down of front panel of any other window AC. But it happened in my case with Hitachi window AC, which prompted me for a genuine front panel replacement. Within a week of replacement the newly installed panel cracked and the gap is widening with days passing by.

            If this doesnt get resolvedin new couple of weeks I will launch a campaign against Hitachi to educate people not to buy products of this company as they have the worst customer care attitude.

              Dear Customer your BREAKDOWN req. [protected] for the AIR CONDITIONER Shall be attended asap. Share CDN:-7447 if you are satisfied with our engineer.
              Above massage was sent to me from hitachi on dated[protected], but till date nobody has attended my complaint . My AC is under AMC COMPREHENSIVE with coil . I have called many times to customer care & mailed to [protected]@jci-hitachi.com, but problem has not been solved yet.
              Kindly do something for us and give a suggestion to me . What should I do please suggest. Its really difficult to tolerate this hot weather.

                I am varlaxmi.. We gas bought hitachi a. C from towlichoki branch on 5th may and the installation was done by 8th.. But from the first day itself the a. C is not working properly... I had raised complaint to hitachi service 20 or 21st may and the service person came and checked the filters and it was fully filled with dust he cleaned it.. When i asked how come in 6 to 8days it self there lot of dust he didn't responded properly.. Even after cleaning the filters the a. C is not working properly.. Then went to store to complain about the same to store manager.. He again called the hitachi people and.. From there it self they r not responding properly and please help me to get the piece replaced..

                  I bought Hitachi split AC in 2013, now for consecutively 2 years it has been giving PCB problem. Either u replace it or repair it. Worst Hitachi product. Can't recommend Hitachi to anyone. You ought to at least care for the products you sold. Customers pay hefty amount. You shouldn't take consumers for granted.
                  If we call your technician they upfront ask for 500 bucks, but why should we pay when it's your fault. Is this how to loot customers, sell defective piece n charge therein.

                    I had purchased a 3 door refrigerator model no rwb480pnd2 from bajaj electronics on 26th may2016. About a month back it stopped cooling. After repeated calls to the distributor and hitachi people, they send technician and said that there is leakage in gas. After much follow up they then send a senior technician who said that the pcb is not working. Since my refrigerator is under extended warranty with bajaj allainz insurance, hitachi people kept tossing the ball in the court of the insurance company. After being tossed around by all the people, we got the approval from the insurance company and after coaxing hitachi they send a technician to replace the pcb. But even after replacing the pcb the refrigerator did not work. Then the technician said that the compressor has to be replaced.
                    The mr gopal from the service center for hitachi ie satya cooling solutions then said that the refrigerator has to be taken to the service center, which they did on 21.05.18 and promised to replace the compressor within 4 days. Since then neither mr gopal or mr bhanu chander from hitachi is responding to my calls or even informing when we can get the refrigerator.

                      Purchased hitachi 1.5 ton invertor ac on 25th march 2017. After 1 month 27th april 2017 cooling stopped (Gas leakagae) and found because of incorrect connection it happen. Got the service. Same problem occur on 23rd june 2017 again, no cooling and again the connection was not proper. Now on 25th may 2018 again ac is not cooling.ac is out of warranty and hitachi is charging hefty amount.
                      Such a unprofessional company because of lack of there techniciain work and every time connection is not proper i am charged for the same. I wonder how they treat there customer and is that the quality of the product that it is dead 3 times in near about 1 year span

                        After this, we are going to the complaint in consumer forum.

                        It has been almost 20 days to complain about ductable ac, not cooling. Complain no: [protected],

                        Still, there is no action taken from hitachi, which is unacceptable.

                        Their technician came 2 times to resolve our issue, but they are not able to fix it.

                        They only charged unnecessary gas filling which cost 17225/- inr. After this our ac still not cooling.

                        Also, we have requested to raise a refund of 17225/- which we have already paid to hitachi.

                          I am having 2 hitachi split ac dc inverter, which are almost two year old and out of warranty.
                          This time when summer came up i logged a complain with hitachi for service and ac compressor switch off when desired temperature achieved.
                          Although being dc inverter ac it should not switch off and should go on very low speed.
                          Technician visited and diagnosed as ac gas is choked and need to release all the gas and refill again. Cost for that he explained as rs. 5000/- and rs 500 as visiting charge. Total cost for two ac he demanded for rs. 11000/-.
                          I have heard about gas leak but gas choked i have never heard. Although my both ac cooling is good. Since i did not believe on his diagnosis, i asked him to leave. Now i am puzzled how to get repaired my ac.
                          I am big fan of hitachi. I dont want to get repaired from out side. But hitachi service technician is cheating. Hitachi customer care is saying there are the only service center for my location. So don't have any option now to being cheated.
                          Hitachi should take responsibility and shall ensure no such cheating from their service partners.

                            1. Hitachi sugoi for not installed properly on the very first time.
                            Complete summer the cooling was less. Gas and installtion had to be done again.

                            2. We moved to a new home, (Bearing the charges of removing, transporting and reinstalling the ac and the total almost neared 19000)

                            Two acs were reinstalled and now after 8 months there is a gas leak and the company is asking 3250/- for each of the unit.
                            With only 3 months of guarantee. Its not worth it purchasing ac's from hitachi

                              It been 6 days i am suffering on account of lethargic & ignorant behavior shown by hitachi india...

                                  Our is is not repaired even after abt a month passed. We are badly suffering in peak summer.
                                  Subject: - delay and deficiency in service by hitachi customer care/service people - causing customer to suffer in hot summer and suffering with harassment, inconvenience and mental agony dear sirs, on 14.5.2015, we purchased a hitachi rau514avd split air conditioner from m/s. Lotus electronics supermarket, indore (Vide bill no.41r1500333) in the name of mr. I. B. Prasad. After sometime, the remote control was not functioning properly. But the air conditioner was working properly (Even without remote control). To get the remote control device repaired, we lodged a complaint through the helpline of m/s. Lotus electronics. On 14.4.2018, a servicing person/engineer visited (Deputed by service dealer ms/. Temperature control) and, after checking the unit, he observed that the display unit of the air conditioner is not working therefore, he removed the pcb of display unit and took with him saying that it will be repaired and fitted properly on the very next day. It is very disappointing that inspite of making one-day promise, the display pcb unit is not installed till date and, as a result, we are unable to use the air conditioner even as it was before removing the pcb. It is very painful that inspite of having paid full price of the ac unit, we are suffering with the hot summer and the service people are not at all bothered about inconvenience, torture, harassment, agony faced by the customer. If it was to take a longer time, then the company/service provider should have installed a stand-by unit. A request was made to customer service provider but he did not made arrangement for stand-by unit/pcb. Now your socalled technicians have spoiled the air conditioner which was running without remote is not even getting on (Very bad and inexperienced, stupid technicians you borrowed). Moreover, nobody is taking any responsibility of providing services we tried our best at all levels like: on hitachi customer care nos.+91-[protected], +91-[protected]; mr. Arun nagar ([protected]); mr. Rohit patidar, service engineer ([protected]); indore office of customer care (As given by service engineer[protected] and the customer care centre of m/s. Lotus electronics, but to no avail. Now there remains no option except to contact highest authorities of m/s. Hitachi, for which we are forced by the deficiency in providing efficient and on-time services and giving false assurances by service engineer, customer care, and other hitachi service and customer care people. Therefore this letter is to request to the highest authorities to take immediate action to put the airconditioner in working condition immediately because it is the summer season when air-conditioners are needed and used by everyone; and if someone put our air-conditioner to a halt position and not repairing it on time, is certainly a crime against humanity as well as deficiency service and amounts to a breach of trust in terms of business and professional ethics. As a result, the customer who is suffering with hot summer inspite of having paid the cost of air conditioner, is harassed, tortured and agonised by a company in its ancillary service providers, clearly amounts to deficiency in service and harassment to a customer.                                     I have purchased 5 star rating inverter type ac of hitachi in august 2016 and from day one i have been suffering from various issues like low cooling, issues in remote functioning, gas leakages and high noise. Within 1 year the gas was changed thrice and in fact while installing this ac the persons were not competent and was not knowing that vaccuum is mandatory for inverter ac which ws not performed by them and after that the service was again done by service engineer and uit was decided by company to extend my warranty for one more year due to frequent breakdowns. But after servicing done in march the ac performance is gain deteriorating and we are struggling to even sleep at night. Sometimes water gets splashed from ac, it is making irritating noise always and i have written to customer service hasan and he is not responding and behaving like deaf and dumb. I treat this as cheating case and should be dealt strictly. I want either my ac to be replaced with qc approved product or else refund of money back.

                                        Unfortunately i have bought an split inverter ac of 1.5 ton on 28 april 2018 around 2 oclock noon. I was told that it is going to be installed within two days. Since then i am waiting for installation. I have reported this issue to custmoer care no of time and also to the mangla electronics dwarka from where i bought the product. But it looks like that every body is deaf.

                                        Please guide me that what i should do with this ac.
