Tel No.: [protected], [protected] Mobile No.:(registered) [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected] Model No. of your Product: Hitachi R-WB730PND5 DD-MM-YY of Purchase:[protected] Amount – Rs. 1, 17, 500 We have made a complaint regarding the non cooling of the Refrigerator to your Care Service – WZ – 43, Vikas Puri, New Delhi wide receipt no.955 dated[protected] and paid visiting charge of Rs. 590.00 as requested. It was told to us that the part will be available within a week time and after that they will replace the part. Since then, we are regularly in touch with Mr. Balwinder but there is no satisfactory reply from his side. After calling them again and again, he gave us the number of Mr. Harinder but he has not picking up the call and never called back again. Till date, the part is not available and we are not able to us the refrigerator since 3rd May, 2018 and it is a major requirement in the summers of Delhi. We have sent the complaint through mail on 15th June, 2018 and reminder on 18th June, 2018, 26th June, 2018, 2nd July, 2018 and 12th July, 2018 on [protected]@jci-hitachi.com but they are not able to solve our problem even after two and half month and only send us their fixed reply as below. Sir we regret the long delay in resolving the concern Be assured that we have read and evaluated your concerns in details Please be rest assured, our field service team will be get back to you soon with the resolution at the utmost priority Once again we apologize for the inconvenience and assuring the best of the services. We are fed up with the hopeless service provided by such a reputed brand who are not at all concerned about their customers and their problems and promise to never buy this brand or suggest it to someone else.

    On 3/7/2018 : This is to inform you that our Hitachi refrigerator suddenly stopped working and we made a complaint on 27th June 2018 for the same as it is into warranty period. The technician came and saw it, and said that there is some circuit issue and it will be resolved in 2 days. Today its almost 7th day we are without the refrigerator. Is this service given by so called HITACHI COMPANY????? Does it take 5 days to change a single part? We are using so many other known brands at our place but never faced such an issue of waiting for so many days. We had the same issue in IBF brand but it was totally replaced within 12 hours of submitting the damaged part to dealer. What is the use of buying such a BRAND "HITACHI", whose parts are so difficult to get? It is for troubling customer only.Were will i get the proper answer for this? I am attaching the bill with this mail. Please do it asap.
    On 14/7/2018:What the hell is this? So called bloody Hitachi??? Its almost 20 days that we are staying without the most important electronic item called "Refrigerator" !!! The reason I am getting is that the part is being made in Foreign country called Thailand. In this is Smart/Fast World your company wants us to believe that you are not able to get a bloody circuit from there? I will sue your company for this ... Remember.. What is the use of your 10 years warranty????????? Stop making products if you are not able to maintain your reputation. Will never ever suggest anybody to go for the CHEAP/WORST brand HITACHI!!!

      I used my new hitachi inverter ac only for 2 months at delhi and it stopped working. It is in warranty period. The technician was called who said that the pcb is to be changed. Hitachi took 10 days to replace it and we suffered during those summer days of july 2018 without ac. I was informed that it takes so long because spare pcb is not stocked in delhi and is transported from gujarat to delhi.
      My experience shows that hitachi ac is not reliable and the service time taken by the company is too long.

        I registered a complaint of the Refrigerator not cooling on 27th June. First complaint was closed without even attending the same on the pretext that I am not contactable though alternate number is also provided.Another complaint lodged on 29th June. Somebody from Kamal Enterprises visited on 30th June and said there is problem in the gas and he will send another person to fill the gas. another person came on next day and said weather is not good for filling the gas and he will come next day. Next day, gas was filled but refrigerator did not cooled. I was the told that there is problem in motor. Next day when I called the service provider he told me Motor is Okay but compressor is not working and it will be replaced. It is now more than 20 days and Kamal enterprises is saying that he has received the compressor but also needed cooling coil which is not yet sent by the company and he can repair only after parts are received from the company. What should the consumer do. Manager service replied to my first e mail but stopped replying and my 3 mails are unanswered. No NLE number is being given/ generated to escalate it further to Mr Nair or Mr Nagari. Hitachi, it seems does not care about customers and should change there Tagline.

        The word "escalation" has no meaning in the directory of Hitachi. Same standard reply is being given to me everything I call consumer care number of Hitachi. No feed back about when complaint will be resolved.

        Dear Team Hitachi,

        Word "escalation" has no meaning in the dictionary of Hitachi. Every time I call consumer care, same standard reply is given. Not even once I have received any feed back call from any senior person.

          I have complained on dt. 06.06.2018.. Message recived by your side (Dear Customer your BREAKDOWN req. [protected] for the REFRIGERATOR Shall be attended asap. Share CDN-8751 if you are satisfied with our Service.).. The same the technician came charged rs. 500 and said i dnt have the parts to repair.. Will come soon.. After 4 days on 10.06.2018 we mailed to hitachi but a routine mailed was forwarded on 15.06.2018..till dated 26.06.18 we have not received a call or technician.. Is this support or service we were waiting from your side.. My complain no.. [protected]..till date 12.07.2018 no service..

            hitachi split ac circuit board

            I purchased Two Hitachi Split AC 1.5T 5S RAS518ETD on 27 December 2013 along with two stabilizers from an authorized dealer in Kerala and paid Rs. 96, 000.

            I am working in Kuwait and visit my home two to four times in an year. Most of my visit is either in June-July or In December January and hardly use my Air Conditioner. During the last 4 years I would have used the AC for not more than 30 days. Since last November One AC...

            I purchased Hitachi Refrigerator on 20th Oct 2017 but to my despair in just 20 days there were several defects lie Freezer not working there was Ice all over, Te door of the freezer and the main door was loosened, the chiller, Both the trays and the baffle tray were cracking, the polish got tarnished, the legs were shaking etc etc . It seems that a defective second hand product was handed over to me. I am really disappointed to have purchased such a defective product from a repute company like Hitachi. I made umpteen no of complaints at the call centre and vis mails but of no avail. Your representative Mr Krishna came but was very rude and did not listed to any of the complaints asked the no of the senior . He gave the no of Mr Imtiaz who never picked up the call. I want my money back or replacement of the product. Hope you guys will react and will resolve my issue. I called up the call centre today also and wanted to peak to the supervisor but the agent was unable to transfer my call and was of no use
            Also advised by your agent in my previous call at the call entre by the agent named Ripple that I should speak to the senior of the technician who visited my home. After umpteen no of calls that I made to Mr Imtiaz, he picked up my call and was very rude to me and straightforward told me that my fridge will not be replaced, come what may. I did not expect such a response fro a senior of your company. These people are tarnishing the image of your company. ls help urgently. Expect a positive response from the second level escalation.

            • My issue is still not resolved.Nobody is there to take care of the complaint. I receivd a call from Athar Ali on 8th July 2018 that inspite of so many defects in the fridge it cannot be replaced and moreover I have to pay all the charges if I want the refrigerator to be repaired. This is just not a professional behaviour from an esteemed company like Hitachi. I will be compelled to take up the matter further. Please also provide me the mail id / contact no of your highest escalation point or of the nodal officer

              Hi,
              My phone no is XXXXXXXX34. I have purchased 4 nos of Hitachi AC for my use in home on May/June 2016.
              Now one of them is 1.5 ton inverter AC which stop operating from 1st July 2018. I have complained through customer care on 2nd July and get a req no [protected].
              After that some technicians came on 3rd and 4th but unable to detect the problem. Finally 3 Hitachi technician came on 5th July and try to detect the problem for 4 hours.
              Next day I have got a call from Hitachi and he told me that the electronic item PCB has problem and I have to cough up Rs 9200 to repair that. I told them as it is electronic item and the problem occurs within 2 years of purchase, so the item should be replaced by Hitachi with no cost to customer. But he declined that and the AC has not been repaired till date due to this disagreement.
              I think it is too much for a customer after purchasing a Hitachi AC worth Rs45000 spend Rs 9200 on it due to the manufacturing defect like this.
              Hope to get a call from you and request to resolve it quickly.

              Hi,

              The AC is not working since 1st July 2018. I have complained through customer care through 2nd July 2018. Since then nothing is happening. I have only getting the sweet lip service, no action, no transparency. I have purchased the AC in summer 2016 by spending a premium of 45000 rupees where as the same functional model of competitor is selling in 35000 rupees. Now again your customer care is telling I have to shell out another 9200 to replace the PCB which is an electronic item. Still now there is no communication and also do not know when the AC will start again. I have complained in consumer complains website a week back, till now no action. It seems now I have done a big mistake to purchase the Hitachi product.

                I had bought Hitachi 1 ton Window AC on May 18. There was a break down on AC as it suddenly stopped working. A representative from Hitachi came on 3rd July 18, clicked few photographs and left. Since then nobody came back for the repairment. When I call customer care, everytime they say we are escalating to the concerned team and parts is not available.

                It's been 5 days now and the same story of parts being unavailable is told by customer care. I paid premium price for the brand and it's promise for service. This is the worst service anybody could ever imagine.

                I escalated to Mr. Vishal Marar and Mr. Satish Nair however there is no response from them. My complain no is [protected] and the reference no is 8A217ABC1B7

                  Hi team,
                  I had submit the complaint about ac not working on 22nd june, an engineer visited us 2 days later and informed us that one part was faulty and needs to be replaced.
                  No body followed up and informed for about 3 days.
                  I called up the service center and was informed that they have escalated and somebody would call next day.
                  Next day somebody did call and said the part was not available and it would be available soon.
                  Today after 13 days suffering i called again the service center and was informed that local office would contact soon.

                  This soon is a dangerous word, especially in service industry, soon for you guys can be 1 month and for a customer like me in summers, when i have 2 young children is 6 hours.
                  Can you please help expedite to close this complaint.

                  I am eager to see your response in such scenarios.

                    Date of incident: 13th June
                    Description: I have raised a complaint with Service request no: [protected] about my
                    Air Conditioner. A part of AC is faulty and my AC is in warranty.
                    First complaint i raised on 13 June and Hitachi is giving only false promises. They asked for 10 days time and later they again asked for the same.
                    Even today after almost 3 weeks of my complaint Hitachi is NOT fixing my AC.

                    I called Hitachi customer care many times and they just did false promises like we will call back but nobody called back. They never had any status of my request and also denied connecting me with their supervisor.

                    I have tried asking them the timelines and current status of my request but they never helped me. Instead Hitachi just says some team is working on it.

                    Nobody bothered to contact me. Hitachi customer support is really bad and not at all bothered about the customers. They dont even have etiquette to talk to customers. Hitachi did not responded to my emails or callback requests ever.

                    Desirable Resolution: I want my AC to be replaced if Hitachi can not arrange faulty part or else fix my AC asap on highest priority as they already delayed it by almost 3 weeks.

                      I registered a complaint of Hitachi Fridge to Customer Care. A technician of the company - "I Care Services", Vikaspuri, New Delhi, visited on 04/05/2018 the problem not resolved but payment was made. As the problem persisted I had to seek their help again. In spite of numerous calls to Mr Balwinder [protected] he did not respond. He was curt, rude, unhelpful.

                      Dear Sirs,
                      Though I had again registered a complaint for the same fault. This time it was National Refrigerators, Janakpuri, New Delhi who attended on payment. The technician was able to identify the fault but it has not been resolved. I have asked for the technician to revisit and make a fresh assessment of the fault.
                      However, my complaint against Mr Balwinder must be taken to its rightful conclusion and money charged by him refunded. I may be compelled to take up the matter in the Consumer Court.

                        I have bought one refrigerator from hitachi and one technician came for demo and installation but at the time of installation refrigerator stated making noise from compressor. Technician declared it as manufacturing defect.
                        After that i have logged complaint through email on 26th june but i havent received any revert from hitachi regarding resolution.
                        I have spent rs 41000 and struggling to get replacement of the product.

                            Hi team,

                            I am pankaj aggarwal, i purchased the hitachi inverter ac last year on 1st april 2017.

                            There was water dripping problem last week for which i registered a request with request number [protected] on 16th june. Executive came on 17th june from your naharpur sector 7 rohini service center. He inspected it, confirm there it is installation problem and then he put a plastic piece on the lock to adjust it.

                            So my question is, "is it the service for which i called hitachi customer care?" i want the permanent solution not the adjustment by putting a plastic piece? If i want that solution, i could have called the local mechanic.

                            When i disagree with that service as it was not meeting my expectation of hitachi service, your naharpur service closed the request by saying the customer requested that no service needed.??? But i never said that. Make a note, water dripping problem has not been resolved yet. Due to plastic piece adjustment gas got licked and after a week on sunday 24th june my ac stopped cooling, i again registered a request with request number [protected] to your call center number.

                            On 25th june at 10:15 am again executive came from the naharpur service center and the executive confirm that there is no gas. So they need to refill the gas. When i ask "when can it be resolved?" he was not having the answer. He said i don't know, then he gave me a number: [protected].

                            There was a lady over the phone, who told the name as "meenu". She said by 4 pm on 25th june, mechanic will come to refill the gas. But no-one came by 4:30 pm. After that i called more than 20-25 times, but they did not pick my phone. Even it was going busy sometimes. So they can't say they were not available to pick up the phone, they were actually ignoring the phone.

                            Today 26th june, i again called at 9:30 am, and the lady again confirm that it will be resolved by afternoon. I did not receive any call after that. I again called at 1:10 pm, a man name "mohan" picked up the phone and when he asked his "mam" to talk to pankaj aggarwal over the phone, the lady was saying "subhah bola to tha after noon me ho jayega" and she was laughing???. Is it the service i should expect from hitachi???

                            I am really disappointed with hitachi after sales services. I have 8 hitachi acs in my family re-commanded by me. I am going to stop this.

                              Dear sir,

                              I am escalating this complaint to your kind notice, to make you aware of the kind of service your service partners are offering in the name of hitachi in non metro locations.

                              It has been 8 days and there has been 2 visits made by the so called hitachi technicians who have not been able to identify the problem in the air conditioner and are adopting trial and error techniques. Till now they have replaced capacitor claiming the cause of issue, which has failed to resolve the issue.

                              On enquiring, the revelations made by them were shocking.

                              Your technicians have told that they do not know the subject and they are given only 2hrs of training before being send to sites to attend to customer problems.

                              In this way you are promoting your technicians to play with costly products of your customers leading to huge monetary loss of peoples property.

                              Even a roadside ac assembling shop gives a better service than what is being offered by hitachi now.

                              Now i am being told that the problem might be due to a bad motor.

                              I am being made to suffer in this scorching heat just because of choosing an hitachi product.

                              I request you to kindly reply me pointwise to following questions:

                              1. Who is the responsible person at ho of jci hitachi to address non metro location service requests.

                              2. What is your sop to train service engineers for non metro cities.

                              3. Who holds the liability to ensure the quality of service offered is valid or not.

                              4. What is the timeline to address service requests.

                              5. Who is the nodal point for business ethics and compliance in jci-hitachi who is resposible for setting up enquiry against such fraudulent and corrupt practises in the name of service support.

                              Apart from this i want to know what action resolutions have been taken on my various complaints made to your customer care since 8 june 2018.

                              I hope to get an answer to above queries within next 2 working days failing which i will be compelled to seek resolution to this matter from various customer redressal organisations/tribunals under indian laws for which jci-hitachi shall be solely resposible.

                                1. That you addressee no. 1 is the dealer of hitachi company a. C. And addressee no. No. 3 is the manufacturer of above said hitachi a. C. You all addressees are responsible for all acts and deeds on their above said business.
                                2. That my client approached addressee no.1 for purchasing one window ac and addressee no. 1 represented to my client that the hitachi ac is good quality product and my client will not face any problem. On the assurance and representation of addressee no.1, my client purchased one window ac 518 kud make hitachi from addressee no.1 against bill no. 13682 dated 06.06.2018 and my client paid the price of the bill of rs. 31, 000/-. You addressee no. 1 told my client that the said ac carries a warranty for one year and such my client is consumer as per definition of consumer protection act.
                                3. That the complainant put the said ac in use and after that my client found that the said ac was manufacturing of year 2017 whereas my client has purchased the ac in question in the month of june, 2018 and you addressee no. 1 has also showed the ac of manufacturing of year 2018. My client immediately narrated the matter to you addressee no. 1 and you assured to look into the matter but lastly you addressee totally refused to replace the ac in question.
                                4. That my client cannot purchase another ac when he has already invested a huge amount, so the same needs to be replaced immediately with a new ac of the same capacity and quality and in good working condition as the summer season is in full swing.
                                5. That my client repeatedly requested you addressee to replace the ac manufacturing of year 2017 with a manufacturing of ac year 2018 in good working order or to refund the price of the a. C., but to no effect.
                                6. That the ac in question is manufacturing of year 2017 and my client has purchased a. C.in question in the month of june, 2018 and you display in your showroom a. C. Manufacturing of year 2018 and you showed my client model of year 2018 but you intentionally, deliberately with a motive to cheat and defraud my client sold a. C. Manufacturing of year 2017 for wrongful gains. My client has suffered physical and mental harassment and financial losses due to deficiency in services and unfair trade practice on the part of you addressee and as such my client is entitled to be compensated for the same.
                                7. That by not replacing the a. C.in question or to refund price of a. C. Amounts to deficiency in services and unfair trade practice on the part of you addressee.
                                8. That you addressee no. 1 misbehaved with my client and use abuse language and my client reserves his right to initiate criminal proceeding against you.
                                9. That earlier number of complaints has been pending against you addressee no.1 for preying innocent consumers and thus you also lowering the reputation of renowned company.
                                Through this notice, i call upon you to either replace the a. C.in question with manufacturing of year 2018 or to refund the amount of ac with interest and to compensate for rs. 20, 000/- for harassment within seven days of the receipt of this notice otherwise my client shall be constrained to seek his redress from the competent court of law including consumer forum, at your cost, exp.                                   I thought hitachi ac inverter and it breakdown (No cooling) on day 1 as technician was not experienced. He did not adjust gas / moisture properly. Next day after multiple followups one technician came but did not get any equipment along to rectify the problem. I again had to register new complaint for this. Now, another technician has done vacuuming and gas filling, but still there is no cooling. Nobody is attending to the failed product, it's only 3 weeks from the date of purchase. Company also forces working people to keep on taking leaves to attend when technicians come at their own leisure time — no availability on weekends too. I'm fed up.

                                    I have purchased 1 ton window ac on 14.09.2017 vide inv gst an 4323 from sargam electronics adarsh nagar delhi. There was noise problem since beginning. During 2017 it was hardly used for a week. This year since april i have made 5 complaints, the technicians come clean the machine and the cooling does not improve. On our complaint dt 9.06.18 the technician told that gas is to be filled. On 12.06.18 gas was refilled still there is no cooling and on our complaint today another technician of the company's service centre is saying that gas has leaked. It is his wording that previous technician has not done the job properly. I am very much disappointed by this product and request you to get it replaced immediately. How is it possible that such a reputed company is selling a product like this where gas has leaked in such a short period.

                                      Bought AC an year back, since from the installation, till date I spent about 10000, every time I complain about ac cooling I have been told the issue with outer unit and I had to pay 5K. Is this the way to loot the customer or there's no quality from Hitachi at all.
                                      Today again within 8 months Hitachi technician Mr Mohan who is the same person who serviced my outer unit saying your outer unit has coil issues and you need to pay 5000 to fix it.
                                      To my surprise, I heard Hitachi is very reputed organization and they have some standards. Now I am frustrated and I will never recommend Hitachi to even my enemies.
