Hi hitachi team,

I am writing this message to bring to your notice that my hitachi window a. C (Details provided below) is again having issues (Faulty pcb card, gas leakage issue) despite getting this fixed last year
Kindly refer to my previous email with old complaint number from last year below
I am deeply saddened by the customer service & quality or parts being changed by hitachi service team as my product is repeatedly having these issues every time for which i must shell out huge amount of money. Hence please resolve this immediately.

Hi hitachi team,
I purchased a hitachi window ac 1.5 on 10th may 2015. (Please refer below for more details)
It has been merely two years for the product however this specific product has been running into issues for every now & then
Earlier it had issues regarding gas leakage for which i had to get it fixed (Attached is the receipt) from hitachi authorized service center (Aditya services)
However, it has been just one month after the gas charging & service from the center & now there is another problem which is the pcb circuit board is faulty
For this i had to again contact the service center & they informed to pay another rs. 2460/- for new pcb circuit board.
I have been buying hitachi products from past couple of years (You can check my purchasing history), but this time it ruined my experience with hitachi
As loyal customer to your products this is what i have received – a faulty product & pathetic service
I would request you to please consider the matter at the earliest & take appropriate action

    Today was the worst experience I faced with Hitachi

    I bought Hitachi Split AC last year and with this I got my free services.

    I recently booked my service and then after 2 days, technician called me up for the service.

    As discussed with him He said that he will be coming at 4 pm on 7-4-2019.
    I waited for him and around 4.15 I gave a him a call asking where he is. To my astonish he said he is having lot of work and will come late. When I asked him that he committed 4 pm time earlier as per his convenience only and then changing it again without even notifying me. I waited for him like an ### and wasted my time.

    After this he said that he will only be there by 5.30 as company has given him lot of work and that to arrogantly.

    Again I waited till 5.45 and when he doesn't appear, i called him again, now this time he was making same excuses telling that he has lot of work and will be there by 6.30.

    This is the height o[censored]nethical behavior form staff of company like Hitachi.

    I have wasted my completed day for this and at end my work does not get done.

    I want my money back, you can take your pathetic services and garbage AC back. don wont to deal with company who has zero customer importance and value.

    Seriously disappointing., Also with this I ave every right to share this on whatever platform I like ( fb, twitter, websites etc.) I have cal recordings also as a proof from my end.

    Around 6.15, finally the service guys approached.
    after it they took about 5 minutes only and said service is done.. how can this be possible?

    When I asked them if they have checked temperature readings or gas level in condenser, they said that they don't have any equipment to do as company has not given any tools to check it.

    They took the screenshot of the AC and told me to sign the job sheet. when I urged them that please do the complete service, they said if I don''t sign it then also it will not be a problem, no looks at the job sheet.
    It will be lying in folders and nothing will happen.

    They also told me tat the person who did my service last year or the installation team have accidentally broken one small seal of ac. due to which a strange sound is coming.

    He did nothing and went away with unsigned copy of the job sheet, which they will themselves sign and submit it to company.

    Complete fraudulent case .. pathetic ac, company and staff. I regret for my decision of Hitachi AC

      I have registered a hitachi split ac breakdown request on mar 8. Next technician visit and said the problem is with pcb that needs replacement and he charged 550 rupees upfront without fixing the issue. He promised the replace the pcb next day. After so many calls and so many escalation it got replaced on mar 25 and charged 3850 without proper invoice. They said pcb has 6 months warranty and i will get invoice in message but i didn't. It worked only 2 days then ac turned itself off after one and half hours usage. No proper response from service center.

        I purchased this ac (Hitachi rsd/esd/csd-517hbea 1.5 ton 5 star bee rating 2018 inverter ac) that i would be relaxed for all my summers. But it turned like a horrible nightmare. I purchased this ac on 28th march 2018. I tried to open this on 30th of march. But it didn't worked.

        I contacted service center and the technician who visited told me that pcb is not working and as my guarantee has been expired so i'll have to pay. Next day when i called him he told me that the charges for pcb will be rs. 12000. I was shocked to hear this. I checked with other resources they told me the charges for pcb is very high as they have told. Now i am not in a position to understand what to do now. Totally frustrated. Need clarification from hitachi that is the cost of pcb controller 12000 rs. Or less??

            I have installed hitachi vrf for my hotel., from day one i have been facing problem with the vr[censored]nit. The cooling effect is lousy, the remote does'nt work properly, it breaks down frequently and when we log the complaint they say there is nothing wrong with the unit, hitchi air conditioners are junk and the after sales service is lousy. I spent 15.00lakhs for the vrf and my money went down the drain. Even after complaint the co., gives a damn.

            Nobody should buy hitach, we should boycott the product

              I have a 1.5 ton window hitachi window air conditioner, for which i have taken an annual maintenance contract, as the warranty period has expired. The service provider is comfort service located in mumbai. Whenever i lodge a complaint regarding service, i get a sms from comfort service stating that so and so person has been assigned to carry out the work, and immediately afterwards i get another message stating that my service has been cancelled as i am not contactable. It may be noted that this message is sent without me receiving any call from comfort service. This has been happening every time i lodge a complaint. I have also complained to hitachi senior personnel, without any resolution of the matter, even after purchasing an expensive annual maintenance contract from hitachi. I have decided to never buy hitachi air conditioners again.

Hitachi has given request to service center who are completely inefficient and lack technical skills or behavioural skills. There is cooling problem in both ACs. They have not been able to resolve yet. They are saying they have to take outdoor unit to their office - to which I declined. Please resolve ASAP

                Hitachi Team has come twice to my place regarding cooling complaint of my AC, they have filled Gas citing leakage and despite my repeated requests to check it properly for any other leakage, they denied to do so saying that is not my job and instead misbehaved with me.
                I am sending emails to Hitachi every day for the past 2 weeks to resolve my issue.
                I now receive an email from Hitachi saying that they will close the issue.
                What kind of service is this?
                I do not receive any call and all these promises of sharing updates seem just an eyewash.
                This is extreme form of customer harassment. Please help to resolve

                Request you to please help me.
                I have already highlighted my concern above, but highlighting again below.
                I have issues with 2 Hitachi ACs.
                For 1 Ac, Gas has been filled twice in the last 3 weeks but still Cooling problem is not resolved.
                I highlighted the same at the time of Gas filling that the cooling issue is not resolved. Even the temperature meter ( showed 24 when set at 16) and the PSI reading ( 55) reflected the same.
                But the Hitachi engineer denied to listen to me and instead misbehaved with me.
                Please help to resolve the issue ASAP.

                For the other AC, Gas has been filled once but still Cooling problem is not resolved.
                Hitachi engineer found an issue with a valve in the outdoor unit and said that they need to take it to their place for repair. I denied the same for obvious reasons.
                Please help to resolve the same at my place.

                I am suffering for 3 weeks and I have not received a single call from Hitachi and instead I get an email that my com plaint will be closed.
                How can you close the complaint if my problem is not resolved.
                I sent multiple emails before last weekend that I am available only on weekends but I did not receive a single call from Hitachi in the weekend.
                I am available any day before 9 am or after 7 pm and on weekends ( Sat/Sun) between 10 am to 2 pm.
                Please help to fix the issues in both the ACs at this time.
                Please note that I have already paid over 10k to Hitachi for the installation and the Gas filling of both ACs and still I am not able to use the ACs.
                I have also invested 3-4 days with Hitachi engineers trying to resolve the issue.
                Also note that I have not denied to pay any valve charge as is written in the email above - I have questioned why a 1/4 valve should cost Rs 700 and if it indeed costs that much, I am fine to pay the same if my cooling problem is resolved.
                Also, please do not send engineers from the service center, they are highly inefficient and lack basic customer etiquetes. How else would you explain 2 times gas filling being done and still the issue not being resolved?
                Please send efficient and well trained engineers directly from the company who can diagnose and resolve the issue at my place.
                Request your kind co-operation; I am really frustrated.

                  I brought hitachi 1.5 a/c . Now it has a problem that it became noisy... I cal the customer executives and service man come and checks and told me PCB board problem. You need to change PCB board.
                  Since I borough AC till one year not complete. I think it’s definitely Manufactured diffect.. I want to change my AC.. I have all the purchase bills..please provide good products which is not diffect .i will give zero (0)Rating to this AC products 🤘

                    My complaint pertaining to the 3 door refrigerator has been pending since last 6 months (First complaint on 26/27 september 2018. Many follow ups attended on 6 dec 2018-approximatelty, which did not completely solve the issue and since then complaint unattended). Either the technicians sent are incapable or cite stupid excuses as parts not available previous complaint got attended after a long long gap and many follow ups plus requests that too did not resolve the issue. The technician assured us that that the required parts will be booked though it will take time its again a long wait of 3 months no resolution to the issues. I have on earlier occasion send two complaints via email and also multiple times contacted the dealer-vi jay sales, but just get assurances will attend to your compalin, but no improvement.

                    A highly reputed and efficient company such as hitachi, the services being so pathetic is completely shocking. Gives a lasting impression never, i repeat never to repurchase hitachi products.

                    Once again i request to sort the issue of which one just pertains to auto door close mechanism. The other to temperature control mechanism
                    . Hoping for positive results and quick sorting of the issue. Hitachi products being expensive would prefer for repair of the fridge.

                      Today when i installed my 1.5 ton ac by the technician of the company... They found the ac is completely damaged.. Its pcb and other parts are brokedown...                       When your company installation technician opened the ac, then it found damaged, pcb board not working, tapes are rounded inner side...only the cabinet is good, but the inner product is totaly damaged, it is damged product fabricated cabinet.
                      As I have found it damaged since the seal is opened, So only provide me with a new one, I do not need any part replacement, I need only a new one as soon as possible, I have taken the video of the seal opening and the faulty ac .

                        I purchased a refrigerator - r-wb480pnd2 - gbw - bottom freezer (3 door 456 ltr) 4 years back. The refrigerator has broken down four times in these four years and two times same parts are replaced within a matter of a month. Both times the amount charged for the faulty part was different. The refrigerator has broken down again and there is no cooling inside refrigerator or freezer. I registered a complain on 25th december and i received a phone call from service engineer from agra. Since i am based at kanpur, he told me that he is assigning this call to the service team at kanpur, but even after three days there is no communication from hitachi nor anyone visited for repair.

                          My faulty hitachi inverter ac was to be replaced and its been 1 month since any reply from hitachi team.
                          I had emailed mentioning the same with registered contact number, but no reply to email since past 2 weeks.
                          Hitachi service centre does not give any proper update or any proper date within which the ac will be replaced.
                          Very frustrated with the services from hitachi.
                          Wont recommend hitachi products to friends/colleagues.

                            We have purchased 1.5 ton split ac unit on 20/06/2016, that is 2 years and 4 months before.
                            Currently ac cooling is not coming.
                            Hitachi technician visited and after investigation informed that the indoor coil has been damaged and need to be replaced.
                            They have provided estimated expense of 10, 000+ rs.

                            Hitachi is a well-known company providing high quality air conditioners.
                            To incur expense of 10, 000 rs in 2.4 years is not anticipated from hitachi like product.
                            Requesting you to kindly check into the ac model/unit and provide us free replacement and service.

                              I recently bought hitachi split ac from flipkart. After installed, it didnt work at all. Hitachi technician told me pcb is faulty and needs to be replaced. Even after 10 days, they have not replaced pcb. Whenever i call hitachi toll free no., they say it will take 3-6 days in getting the part. So i have to wait. Such poor and pathetic service.                                     I purchased split ac from online plateform in the month march'18 and unit stopped functioning on 26th august. I made a complaint (No. [protected]) to customer care for service & repair, as the product is still under warranty.

                                    Engineer visited on 28th august and we were told pcb need to be changed, which has not happened till writing of this complaint i. E. 11th october 2018.

                                    This is not first incident with me with hitachi, it is second one in a row, and i had been (So far) a big fan of their products. This seems a regular practice for delaying the repair for products under warranty. I reached to escaltion matrix of hitachi (A three tier system) but even no one bothered to respond, except at highest level of escalation, the customer care executive calling me and apologiing that it will not happen in future, but guess what i have this ac and it has happened.

                                    For products under warranty the company usually takes time so the warranty can expire and they for any subsequent complaints you are not covered.

                                    The only reason i am writing this, to let other users know about their service quality.

                                      Since last two month hitachi service center people are not able to provide me ac part for which they have taken advance money from me. Very pathetic service from hitachi ac service center. The call center people are only passing the problem like football. Customer complaint email id is also not responding to my problem. It is really bad decision to purchase ac from hitachi. Hitachi service provider does not deserve rating. If hitachi company can not provide the part since last two months then why do they have ac manufacturing unit. Very poor response and does not deserve any recommendation.

What kind of coordination you are doing? Since how long i have to suffer with your inability to solve my problem?                                         On 4th october, 2018 at 19:09 p. M, i withdrew an amount of ₹4500 from a moneyspot atm in mohan bazar atm id - mp00050.1note of ₹500 with 2 notes of ₹2000 each came out and both the ₹2000 notes were damaged;one was half torn and other was stuck carefully with cello tape. Please send it to the concerned authority as soon as possible and provide me with a solution.
