I am extremely unhappy to inform you that a renowned company like hitachi is providing a pathetic service.

I had purchase an air condition in the month of june 2017. But till now your ac gas have to refill twice by your company. Now the latest problem a odd smell is coming from the ac and also facing water leakage. I had also send you mails on mail i'd http://www.jci-hitachi.in which is provided by genesis dated on 13th march, 14th march & 18th march.
An engineer name mr. Safaroz visited to my home and requested me to repair the ac. Now alternate day i received calls from rajarhat branch, behala branch & jadavpur branch.


I am not interested to repair the ac.
Request you to kindly replace theac machine as it is causing a daily problem or else i have to take legal action against hitachi.

    I had purchased this product (Split AC - 1.5TR Hitachi Neo 3200i Inverter -R410A - RAU318EWEAD) from M/s Capital Electronics, Kolkata on 21st Jan 2017. Installation was done on 25th Jan 2018. No demo was conducted till I logged a complaint. I got the product demo only in Oct 2017 & thereafter all the 3 services was conducted in Nov, Dec & Jan 2018. Being a winter season product was not in use till February 2018.

    Last week on switching on I observed no cooling & thereafter I logged a complaint. Post technician visit I was told that the gas leaked & that needs to be recharged on chargeable basis as it's more than year.

    Now the issues are :
    1) Is the product delivered to me is faulty because gas leakage can be due to poor installation or faulty product.
    2) This problem was not identified earlier during 3 continuous servicing because of lack in quality servicing. Service engineer just use to clean indoor unit filter & pour a mug of water on outdoor unit... He never checked the gas pressure. So he never identified the issue at initial state.

    So for the above listed issues why should customer avail your AMC when your product is faulty & service is not proper. And what's the guarantee that after gas recharge this problem will not occur.

    Based on my discussion with your personnel I understand that this is once in a while case & not a regular complaint. Therefore you need to check the product quality & do proper service to enhance customer expectation from your product. As per technician I should get an AMC to get free of cost service. This gives an impression that this product is going to give problem very frequently & AMC is must for product to run.

    Product pricing is not match with the quality & service.

    Hitachi personnel reached out to me with 50% discount on gas recharge charges as customer good will but they are not ready to accept that there product failed immediately after 13 month & that too with timely services. In this current scenario i have very little faith in Hitachi product & services. No guarantee how long this is going to last if product quality not up to the mark.

      My hitachi fridge was brought in october 2014... It started giving trouble from june 2016... Compressor was first thing to replace... Followed by gas replacement in february 2017... Followed by one cooling part replacement in august 2017... Followed by gas refill in january 2018... And again gas and compressor gone within month... It's a 65000 rupees fridge and no joke... Please get the piece replaced... I reported of a bomb type sound which even the technician heard while refilling gas... Such a disastrous piece... Please replace it asap..

        No response till yet continue calling to service desk but not getting help.
        Please do help me. Situation is getting worse.
        Issue is with behind the vegetable tray we found ice and daily we removing and and again it appears. Service people came and asked to replace the fridge and asked to wait for some time and now no one is responding on phone.

          Hi,

          I have purchased 2 ton 5 star hitachi air conditioning on 22nd oct, 2017 from vijay sale, kharghar, navi mumbai.

          Within 3 days we have experienced loss of cooling, first technician visited and captured pic o[censored]nprofessional installation and sent it to his boss and went away.

          In few days new technician came and said machine is leaking and conducted nitrogen test.

          First he conducted nitrogen test in outdoor and found no leakage.

          When next test came on indoor and piping he asked for nitrogen test fees rs. 2000/-.

          I refused to pay since there technician have installed machine already then why should i pay now.

          So he tested piping and indoor together and said that indoor is ok and there is leakage in piping.

          I called my technician and asked to see leakage only on piping. He conducted nitrogen test in piping and we found that pressure was fine.

          Now i am following up with vijay sale from last 2 months to replace the machine but they are not showing any interest in this and after 10 calls they are still arrange my call with hitachi company technician.

          I want hitachi to take this issue seriously and chose your representive properly, since they are least botherd of what issue customer is facing.

          Also i want to say that pls stop looting customer by charging for the fault which should be attained free of cost since machine is in warranty.

          Pls look into this as soon as possible or give my money back along with penalty fees.

            Hitachi is a fraud company their service men are charging 3320 for pcb failure and 820 for display failure.in addition they have changed 500 for service charge. This is a manufacturers defect and they are fleecing customers on top of inconveniencing us with a faulty machine and hence we have to sleep in the hot temperature after paying more than rs.50000. This issue is happening the second year itself, whereas hitachi is supposed to work for 10 years. I have many units in our apartment and we will never ever buy hitachi, unless hitachi takes ownership and refund this immediately.

              For past 10 months no one bothered to look and rectify the problem and now they say "if it was 2017, we could have replaced your refrigerator right away". I am completely annoyed and disgusted by the customer experience i have encountered from hitachi now.

              I spoke to bhavesh sharma who is branch head and he also aligned an enginner vist to check the issue with refrigerator.

              Even though the enginner acknowledged that issue is with refrigerator as well as damper which treats to be a manufacturing defect, everyone is still trying to repair it instead of replacement.

              How can a brand like hitachi can be so annoyed after knowing the fact that this particular refrigerator is a defective piece and still taking no action to get it replace.

                I would also like to bring this in your kind attention/notice that i have a hitachi refrigerator and it needs to be replaced i already reported complaint to the service center number and also did all 3 levels of escalations.

                Issue was raised on 29th may'16 and i am still awaiting for a response from hitachi for its resolution for more than 20 months now. Is this the regular tenure you take to respond to the grievances for your customers or you actually don’t care as a company how the customer feels about “hitachi”.

                Followings are the details of various communications with hitachi.

                Level-1 escalation was done of 01/july/2017 but neither mr. Vishal marar nor any of his representative had contacted us. What is the point of having a fake escalation matrix when the response will be send to us (Customers) in indefinite time?

                Then we made level-2 escalation to mr. Satish nair on 9/july/2017 but the outcome was astonishingly same. Neither mr. Satish nair nor any of his representative contacted us about our issue.

                Furthermore, we did a level-3 escalation on 20th july to mr. Rajesh nagari but still we have no clue about the status and the reason for delay. I was really hopeful that level-3 escalation (Mr. Rajesh nagari) will take some interest and will try to resolve our issue but then where should we voice the issues of the products to.

                Specifics of the complaint

                Request no. [protected] was raised on 29th may 2017 for vapour formation in refrigerator lower storage section. Company’s engineer who visited our place confirmed that door hinge is broken due to which fridge door is not aligned well and air is passing inside which is causing vapour formation. He told us that door has to be replaced. He further said that it will take 15-20 days for the door to get replaced.

                On 12th june 2017 we had raised a service request for our ac req. No. [protected] and had also enquire about our refrigerator ticket and we were told that our request is still open and a call from service center will be made to us with respect to status of new door, but we didn't received any call till today.

                Last but not the least, i have had a nightmare experience in buying a refrigerator from hitachi being a global brand of electronics and have been waiting for ages to even expect a response from them to address the same, i would request each one not buy products from hitachi as it will come out to be the worst nightmare experience of yours & hitachi should be really shameful from them to try to sell their product in such nastier & demeaning ways.

                  It’s very inexplicable and reprehensible to know that hitachi - a global giant brand in electronics marketplace, is a fraudulent.

                  The experience have been so miserable that i would suggest one can buy refrigerator from any other brand except hitachi.

                  Can anyone in the world help me to either get my fridge rectified or should replace this faulty product replaced else they should give me back every penny of my hard-earned money? How a common man supposed to know which products of a brand are counterfeit and isn’t it the company’s responsibility to take care of the faulty units of that production lot rather than washing off their hands away?

                  I bought hitachi super big2 series refrigerator 2 years back and within the period of 3 months it started exhibiting problems with multiple things randomly altogether. Every now and then there was cooling issue in refrigerator (Lower section) or over-cooling in freezer section (Top section).
                  Once the complaint about the same has been registered at their service center, they told me that this fridge was part of the first lot of production in which there was a condensing issue and this rectification has been taken care in consecutive lot of production unit. On encounter of such a hidden fact, i was agonized that i was sold a defective fridge even if the company was aware of the arisen issue. With numerous hitachi engineers visit and trying to fix these issues multiple times led to the door hinge broken by one of the engineer; and since then no one bothers to care and respond.
                  I am completely annoyed and disgusted by the customer experience i have encountered from hitachi now.
                  It gives me the impression that it was a strategy to sell the defective product out from their inventory in order to suppress their loss from faulty product. To enlist, followings are the details of the complaints which i have made/reported in customer service department of hitachi but no-one is even willing to look into it. How is then the trust of buying any product from a brand different from buying a product from some general market store? Even after spending months and numerous attempts to contact through customer service and through emails to different levels, i am now disappointed and disheartened that i have burnt my hard earned money in fire and put my family and myself in a bought trouble? In the era of customer experience and customer relationship engagement, how can a renowned company like hitachi make bogus excuses and promises to customer and still show itself as satisfying market leader in consumer electronics?

                      Request no. [protected] was raised on 29th may 2017 for vapour formation in refrigerator. Engineer who visited our place confirmed that door hinge is broken due to which fridge door is not aligned well and air is passing inside which is causing vapour formation. He told us that door has to be replaced. He further said that it will take 15-20 days for the door to get replaced.

                      On 12th june 2017 we had raised a service request for our ac req. No. [protected] and had also enquire about our refrigerator ticket and we were told that our request is still open and a call from service center will be made to us with respect to status of new door, but we didn't received any call till today.

                      It has been more than 8 months and we do not have any status of the door. The food which we keep in our fridge is getting rotten in a day or two. Its peak summer season and we cant afford to keep a defected fridge which is not giving us a service rather than costing us everyday in terms of food wastage. Moreover it really sounds waggish when we have to wait for more than 30 days for getting the door replaced. It just can not happen that being a big brand as hitachi, a single door is not at all available in existing inventory and even if that is the case, it can not be manufactured in 30 days. We feel its sluggish service of hitachi when it comes to replacement of any of their product part.

                      It is a repetative issue since we brought this fridge. There have been multiple calls made to service center for door alignment and vapour formation issue. As door was detached multiple times in past, to fix the alignment issue. It is very much possible that an engineer might have broken the hinge while taking out and fixing the door. As hitachi has got its reputation, i would appreciate if you can look into the matter and resolve it permanently. I don't want this issue to come up again.

                          I bought hitachi split ac - 1.5tr hitachi waza 3200i inverter - r410a - rsd318eaea in oct 2017. I have purchased this ac from
                          Croma, t. Nagar, chennai. Soon after 1 month from the date of purchase, it stopped working now. I lodged complaint and found out that pcb board is faulty. From reviews it looks this model (Rsd318eaea) has the problem of faulty pcb board. I would need a replacement for the indoor unit as soon as possible. I am not sure if this will really solve my problem because from the reviews it looks even after replacement, the same issue is being observed as reported by few customers.

                              I had purchased a hitachi 40 inch led smart tv from croma worth rs.35, 563/- on 28/04/2016 under 2 years of extended warranty. Within a year my tv display stopped working. After complaining to croma on this issue, i got a fresh replaced tv. But the problem was they cheated with me and gave me a non-smart tv. Now the croma team is not willing to give me my actual original product. They are offering me some lower budget and brand product,
                              Which i cannot accept. This is absolutely cheating. Please help me..

                                When we are going to get the resolution. We are desperately waiting. Plz provide on priority.

                                We had already raised concern three months back but still hitachi is not hearing at all. As the machine had problems almost 15 times in first year itself we do not want to keep the product. The company should either replace it or extend the warranty for next three years. The company is not at all hearing. Hence i had forcefully raise the complain again.

                                Registered installation request on 25 Dec, Hyderabad. Ac and Outdoor unit is not working due to Motherboard was defective. Technician took and tried three days to resolve the issue after several chasers. But and no luck, pls replace.

                                    I had registered complaint (For noise and less cooling) ([protected]) on 2nd october and had to followup multiple times including escalations to head service centre & manager, complaint was attended on 17th october. Engineer did chemical wash of the unit and on 18th again ac started giving no cooling.
                                    Registered complaint again on 19th october ([protected]) and have been following up repeatedly for attending the same.
                                    I must say being taken comprehensive service contract, there is no sla and no empathy for customer.
                                    Have sent mail again to service head.
                                    Mr. Satish nair if you happen to read this, kindly treat your customers fairly, they pay your salary.

                                        I bought a hitachi 1.5t inverter ac about 2 years ago and it has been functioning poorly since the last 1 year. The cooling at 24 degrees is horrible, plus lot of times it doesnt cool until i switch off the ac, wait for 10-15 mins and restart.

                                        Now yesterday the ac does not start at all, and everytime i press the power on button, the ac turns on and switches off while the timer green light blinks 12 times.

                                        I raised a compliant about this, the second time in 1 month. Now noble air con, which is the authorized dealer, says pcb is faulty and has to be replaced. After spending almost rs 60, 000 on the inverter ac, i do not expect such a problem so soon, especially from a brand like hitachi.

                                        I tried to escalate this to the hitachi customer service person, but noble air con is not cooperating and sharing any email or phone no.

                                        Why should i have to pay for a faulty pcb in just under 2 years?? And surprisingly the engineers claim that electronic items can get spoilt in 2 days also as there is no guyarantee! This is unacceptable.

                                        Request hitachi service to kindly help in this regard, because i do not expect to pay rs[protected] on a faulty pcb for a 2 year old, expensive ac.

                                        I need someone to call me and get this resolved. Now the service engineer says both PCBs will need to be changed and cost for replacement is RS 15000!

                                        This is unbelievable!! How can you expect a customer to pay for such a faulty PCB in only 2 years? Products from Hitachi are expected to last year's and that's why customers like me pay a premium for it when buying. But this is unacceptable.

                                        I expect a call back from Hitachi asap and get these faulty parts replaced without any cost. Cal me.
