I bought a hitachi 1.5t inverter ac about 2 years ago and it has been functioning poorly since the last 1 year. The cooling at 24 degrees is horrible, plus lot of times it doesnt cool until i switch off the ac, wait for 10-15 mins and restart.
Now yesterday the ac does not start at all, and everytime i press the power on button, the ac turns on and switches off while the timer green light blinks 12 times.
I raised a compliant about this, the second time in 1 month. Now noble air con, which is the authorized dealer, says pcb is faulty and has to be replaced. After spending almost rs 60, 000 on the inverter ac, i do not expect such a problem so soon, especially from a brand like hitachi.
I tried to escalate this to the hitachi customer service person, but noble air con is not cooperating and sharing any email or phone no.
Why should i have to pay for a faulty pcb in just under 2 years?? And surprisingly the engineers claim that electronic items can get spoilt in 2 days also as there is no guyarantee! This is unacceptable.
Request hitachi service to kindly help in this regard, because i do not expect to pay rs[protected] on a faulty pcb for a 2 year old, expensive ac.

Updated by sahil1012 I need someone to call me and get this resolved. Now the service engineer says both PCBs will need to be changed and cost for replacement is RS 15000!
This is unbelievable!! How can you expect a customer to pay for such a faulty PCB in only 2 years? Products from Hitachi are expected to last year's and that's why customers like me pay a premium for it when buying. But this is unacceptable.
I expect a call back from Hitachi asap and get these faulty parts replaced without any cost. Cal me.
