I gave complaint about AC not working through customer care on 5th August 2017. The engineer visited on 7th August and said a new motor will be required and they will bring and replace with old one. He took 500 rupees and went away and said he will come next day and replace it. After going back neither he is picking phone and it has not been replaced yet. Meanwhile I have called twice to customer care and they said they will take it with highest priority and I will definitely get a call back and now it's more than 9 days and no one is listening and Hitachi ran away with visiting fees without providing solution. My registered complaint numbers:[protected] which they closed forcefully after taking money not giving any solution and pending one is [protected].

I still haven't received any call from anyone. It's nearly 15 days now. Why are You making false commitment? And why I am getting the same status 'someone will get back'? Why can't u get to the root cause where it is stuck? Shame on Hitachi.

    I bought below split AC just on Sunday (16.07.2017) which stopped cooling in just 2 days. I lodged complaint on Hitachi customer service wide # [protected] then technician came and found that gas has been completely leaked due to fault in condenser. According to technician outdoor unit needs to be send to service center for repairing. This is really disappointed to hear of sending new purchased AC for repairing instead of replacing the same with new one.

    I request Hitachi to replace the AC and got approved on 21.07.17 but now it has been more than 20 days that faulty AC hasn't got replaced despite several followups.

    Now this is end up of my patient and going for legal action.

      I have a hitachi which i bought last june... Surprisingly the pcb got burnt even while the ac was switched off... Since the machine was off and hence it doesn't really matter but for the record the stabilizer was connected n hence i don't know how else to protect my ac since it can apparently malfunction even when switched off...
      I called d customer care who charged 500 for just d visit and now says that i ve to shell out 2200 for d pcb replacement n then he can check further...
      I understand that the warranty expired a month back (Quite a coincidence isn't it since i ve read many other complaints like mine)... But how can i be responsible for the ac malfunctioning when it's switched off... Tomorrow if it blows up... It's apparently my problem n mine alone... The company has no answerability?

      Though nobody from your side has contacted me yet but I did call up ur service center. Turns out u ve probably outsourced it. The guy came - took 500 rupees n tells me that it will take at least a week to get the PCB replaced n that it is likely to be more than a week...I mean seriously? Is that so?

        Last year in june' 2016, i bought a 1.5 ton 3 star ac toushi 3200[censored]sed only 3 months in which faced 2 times gas leakage problem and now this year in aug'2017 two days back ac stop working when i requested for service, technician found pcb problem and charging for replacement in inr 3000 + gst + 500 + gst (Visiting charge) approx amount inr 4600.
        Not gonna buy any hitachi product again.

          This fridge has been creating problems since 12-14 months post purchase. It stopped cooling. Hhli changed the pcb saying it was bad. Then ice started getting deposited in the freezer compartment within another few months. The engineer came and made adjustments to the door and other accessories, mentioning that leakage was happening.

          Now again the unit has stopped cooling. The engineer came and told us the fan has gone bad. He removed is saying it has to be replaced. Four days have passed without any resolution. Despite escalation no one seems to know anything or interested in doing anything.

          We bought this fridge due to hitachi reputation of good engineering, but if this is the support quality i will strongly recommend to others not to buy hitachi. Secondly i would like hitachi to replace my unit else i will have to find an alternate way to escalate this.

          No refrigerator should cause problems within 2 years of purchase, specially when the expected life is at least 10 years.

          Lastly i want immediate resolution of the current issue.. Surviving without the refrigerator in delhi in monsoons is not possible..

          The engineer came tomorrow with a replacement fan, but figured out that the fan was not bad!!! According to him some fuse etc was blown because of which is was not cooling. Now imagine our plight, where we had to stay with the refrigerator for 6 days because of the engineer's negligence and oversight. Such is Hitachi service.

          Thoroughly dissatisfied with the service resolution and responsiveness. Will surely detract other people from buying Hitachi.

            Date of purchase – 22/9/16.
            Billing name – anil bhagchandani
            Purchase store – vijay sales – m cube mall, jetalpur road, chakli circle, alkapuri vadodara – 390007. Gujarat.

            The day the fridge was installed we had complained during same week that the freezer door is not getting closed properly. The ring of freezer door was defective from start only. But the store people had sent the service centre guy who just made it little loose and said its done now. But the freezer door use to remain open many times, the ring never use to get tightly fit while closing. Still we ignored it as it did not gave much problem. But since last 3 months we have complained twice to service centre. There was lot of water coming out from freezer. Once they changed the door ring of freezer and for that too they were asking us extra amount but as we told them still fridge is in guarantee and talked to the manager they agreed the fitting of it foc. But after this for some time it was ok. But now the problem is the water is dripping from below fridge portion and that too in much quantity that it starts coming out.

            So kindly take actions against this defective piece and we would like a replacement in exchange of this. We are expecting a positive response from such a famous company. As this incident would not let us buy any hitachi product in future nor we will be able to recommend the same to our family and friends.

              1. We purchased the "Hitachi Fridge from Reliance Digital, Gurgaon.

              The fridge stopped cooling almost 15 days ago. A sequence of complaints were lodged to repair the fridge with Reliance Digital without any satisfactory resolution. Fridge is still not repaired?

              i. Complaint # [protected] July 20, 2017,
              ii. Complaint # [protected] July 22, 2017,
              iii. Complaint # [protected] July 26, 2017.

              Response from Reliance Digital =

              * They have no idea why the frequent efforts to repair the fridge have failed ?
              * They have in the end offered to pickup the fridge to their service center to repair the fridge.
              * Stopped giving any attention to our complaints...

              Response from HITACHI =

              1. Reliance Digital will do the service during first year of purchase. July 21
              2. Ultimately booked the complaint # [protected] July 26, 2017

              Still no response from Hitachi.

              What we must expect from you.

              1. You must pay for direct loss of our products
              ( including three costly injections of Rs 30, 000/ each injection total = Rs 90, 000/, kept in fridge for my father's urgent medical call to save his life )

              + Cost of the fridge.

              2. Compensation for not attending service calls from us?

              You must know

              If some one is graduating from lower price brand to a costly product of a leading brand, his expectations of services from that product vis a vis cheaper earlier product increases in more than same proportion.

              Mechanical (no emotion) response to the complaint increases the pain and agony of the customer.

              This will not only directly decrease the brand value but adversely affecting the future sales in the customer's circle?

              Hope you understand the value of emotions and lost trust in your services, return our money. We would rather want you to make amicable trouble free solution and win respect from us.

              Kindly pay for the losses without further delay and retain goodwill of your company.

                I have taken new ac 1ton since 2 month ago and now its pcb got defect.

                I have called to customer care many time atlast technical man who came to repair but pcb is not available here.

                I really dont know if you guys are not providing services then why selling the product.
                Your main problem is you have not any good technician and management.

                You provide a very bad service with your team and distributor. We are taking hitachi as best brand but by your service you carefully destroy the image of tata product.

                During servicing of my window AC service man told me it can't be repaired at your place will bring it to work shop for repairing
                They bring my ac there and convert twin motor into one

                  Dear officer,

                  Unfortunate to write to you guys for your creepy and cheated working towards the customer which is just not ending and adding things one after another!!

                  As we bought 7 hitachi ac from electronic paradise on june 2016 along with other products. The story starts from the day when we bought the product from that dealer who done major bluff with us when in one of our ac of 2 tone they change the machine model of inside and outside unit and when i noticed and complained for that they have shown their class while not at all supporting and stop entertaining my call even.

                  The same matter, i escalated with the hitachi team and almost fought for 5/6 months to get resolved the blunder done by them.

                  And now another come as we have given a warranty on the product bought of hitachi ac from electronic paradise for 2 years, manufacture warranty and we have at the same time as suggested and sold the extended warranty from bajaj for another 3 years, so that ends up for total 5 years.

                  As clearly told and even mentioned in our extended warranty clause with bajaj which automatically start only after the manufacturer warranty ends after 2 years, which is clearly mentioned as (Invoice date of insured asset 19-jun-2016 - manufacturer product warranty period 2 years). And another 3 years, which are extended warranty with bajaj starts (Period of insurance from: 19-jun-2018 00:00 to: 18-jun-2021 midnight).

                  But unfortunately you guys are having no business ethics and taken customer for granted with your cheap way of working while denying the complaint as registered with you guys while saying that the warranty ends as it was for 1 year, is not only shocking but cheap way of business!!

                  As i have already given much time on you guys last time while fighting for selling two different indoor outdoor units installed against my purchase of one particular model.

                  And this time again you have shown your back while coming cheap with false statement and not resolve the complaint as registered with you guys. We have also escalated the matter to the concern person from hitachi and electronic paradise as sharing the detail: ep. Paschim vihar - [protected]/ ravindar - servicing head hitachi - [protected] / akhil-servicing hitachi south ex - [protected].

                  But no one could resolve and made things up to the mark as committed and just added further hell to our life while not providing any immediate resolution and rectification in their system or record.

                  Now i do not hold any further trust in hitachi their team or the dealer i will escalate the matter further and if needed will take legally as you guys hardly revert on your mail and have no ethics how to be fair or committed to the customer.

                  As the complaint made by us of “water dripping” reported with you guys more than 7 to 8 times and every time you guys cooked stories one after another but failed to resolve the problem. This time we are not to take this further and immediately want the faulty ac replaced with the new one. As just can’t allow you guys to make nonsense for same problem so many times and resolve nothing, need immediate replacement.

                  As made clear that i does not trust you “hitachi” any further and not even sure that you guys will even revert on my concern or take any appropriate action, i will not let it go like the way you have done so far and ready to go by law if not get things appropriate not just now but in the future too as being committed to the product bought from hitachi.

                  Attaching all relevant documents from purchased invoice from electronic paradise to the extended warranty certificate from bajaj, so no you guys just don’t come back with any further silly statement or avoid my mail and don’t resolve my concern without taking any extra moment.

                  My next step will be to report this matter to your top management from director to executive level and take you legally.

AS CONFIRMED I HOPE YOU GUYS HAVE UPDATED YOUR SYSTEM AND WILL NOT MAKE THE CUSTOMER LIFE HELL FURTHER ON THIS CONCERN. BUT STILL AS CANT JUST TAKE YOUR WORDS OR TRUST, I NEED MAIL ON 2 YEARS WARRANTY AND CONFIRMATION ON THE SAME THROUGH MAIL TOO ALONG WITH UPDATE ON YOUR SYSTEM.

                  HOPE YOU WILL TAKE MY MAIL SERIOUSLY AND SEND ME THE REVERT AS REQUIRED.                   AND NOW THIS WARRANTY EPISODE WHICH TAKEN ME THREE MONTHS OF RIGOROUS FIGHT WITH HITACHI TO RELIES AND ACCEPT THAT IT'S NOT ONE YEAR BUT TWO YEAR WARRANTY WHICH HAS BEEN GIVEN TO US ON ALL OUR 7 AC MACHINES WHICH PURCHASED FROM ELECTRONIC PARADISE.

                      Purchased a washing machine in july 2016 on 8/7/17 i called hitachi complain no [protected] they registered our complain and told that itwud be solved within 48 hrs. On 3rd day i got a call from [protected] that we willcome and resolvethe complain. No 1 came again after 2 days i called then he asked for wat is broken in ur machine so i send the picture of broken part again on 16/7 i call to hitachi complain no that no 1 has resolved the complain yet tey answered it would b done as we have kept ur complain on fast track mode than on20/7 i again called the guy now he is asking for a copy of bill that to after 10 days though isend the copy on watsapp on 19/7 from that day he is not picking my phone. Today i am trying to call on customer care but somehow it not getting connected so kindly help me for the same as its been more than 18 days m out of washing clothes inspite of purchasing 45k washing machine i m not getting service. Even they havent visited my place to see the condition of the machine that too i have to send the pictures to them. Kindly look into it

                      Yes i got a call from mr sanjay +[protected] On 29 july itself he commited me that work wud b done by 1st aug but dint happend so called him again on 2nd so he said sorry it couldnt happend but on 4th it wud b done by hook or crook but today it dint happend so i call him late evening then he was like the person is not picking the phone but dont worry it wud b done shortly...but the real thing is hitachi has discontinued manufacturing of washing machine so now company is searching a diffective piece in which dis part wud b ok so they can remove from ther and fit it in ny machine.. after listening dis frm sanjay now i m wondering this machine has 2yrs warranty if sumthing again wud happen after 6 mnths then i have to beg lyk dis only from the company. Cost of same product in another same strecher company is hardly 35k though spending 50k after an year m here thn what wud happen in future... if it wid not be done by 6th aug then please refund my money back and take back this #### from my place m fed up of this prob since a month..

                      Dear team hitachi, i dont know how ur company operates but it is very shamefull for us as we use hitachi. Technician from ur company came on 5th aug with a new part to install in washing machine but he got a diferent part which was actully proper in my machine. When i asked him that y u brought wrong part then he told me that i was told to replace this part as record says that part was broken in ur machine... now i dont knw what to do as ur guy sanjay is also not giving me proper reply ashe told me lastly that i was just helping u out of dis but this is nt myjob. Now wer should i go... being in warranty i m not satisfied as its been 33 days i have complained.. dear team of consumer help kindly look into it or take some action againt them as its totally fraud as they have sold the machine which is already discontinued by the conpany and that to with 2 years of warranty

                        I purchased hitachi rsd 318 on 27th of may'2017.

                        On 14th of july, my ac didn't start and i booked complaint on 15th of july.

                        On the same day (On 15th of july) technical team of hitachi visited us on and informed us that circuit board/pcb bard of ac is failed and has to replace.

                        Till date after completion of 11 days, my complaint has not been resolved.

                        Besides, i send various emails to hitachi customer care regarding explanation of such problem in newly purchased product but there is not any response from there side.

                        Besides, tech support team of hitachi suggest not to use functions of modes given in ac as it leads to failure of circuit board!!!

                        What the hell he was talking, what does that mean, i brought ac after checking available facility and brand name.

                        If just by changing mode from cool to dry or by changing temperature from 26 to 24 or visa versa, circuit board fails, ​what is the meaning of buying a brand like hitachi? And to waste money.

                        Please intervene and help me to get replacement of product or refund from company.

                          This yogesh here, i purchased an hitachi 1.5 ton air conditioner from kohinoor electronics a month before since then i regret buying this faulty ac first of all the installation was not properly for which i had to raise requests time and again at the service centres which the forward to the dedicated team near my area but all i get is a message notification saying that my case is closed after complaining several times the ac was reinstalled but still the outer unit noise issue is not sorted upon complaining and trying my luck once again the service guy comes and says that the noise is across all the models of hitachi and nothing can be done i refused to sign the order raised to which he said he will be calling his senior to get is solved but as usual again i recieve a msg saying that the case is closed... Now my ac remote has also stopped working it goes blank amd i have to pull out the batteries and insert them again for it to function its very difficult to do without the remote as this ac doesnt even have a display and just a power on/off button on the main unit. Please get the ac replaced as i am tired complaining and calling your customer care again and again for the same issue.

                            Being mental and physical harrassed after buying your product ac no 02.08.2017, having model hitachi rau318kwea 1.5 inveter. After installation it had found broken issue of front cabinet and it took 3 months time to replace, what a service! After few days again unit got defective, burning smell was coming it has been resolve by your, before 20 days ago logged complaint and technician found pcb defective and it is crossed 15 days already.                               Hi. I have recently purchased the most expensive ac from hitachi - a 1.5 ton split 5 star inverter ac. However after few months a minor problem of dripping water from indoor unit crept in. I was aware about the hitachi app so i registered a complaint online.

                              Now it has been a week since that and i am surprised that no body has actually reached out to me even to have a first level conversation. I have been trying to reach out to the customer care. These are a bunch of robots who have one standard reponse (If by any chance you get through the ivr) "somebody will reach out to you asap".

                              I want to ask the hitachi guys... Whats your tat for a service complaint??? Do i need to wait for winters to get this sorted???                                 Please support in fixing problem for my split ac model rau318awd/2016 - which is under break down for more than 1 month

                                (1) call no [protected] — person visited — collected rs 500 (As out of warranty) — call closed without fixing problem

                                    This is to inform that i bought a hitachi led tv in the month of feb 2017 which started malfunctioning in the month of june so the case was filed on 5th june. After so many follow ups, the service team informed about the issue being with panel so they assured to replace the panel within a week and since then i am waiting for someone to resolve my issue.
                                    They sent a technician named laxman ([protected]) on june 7 to check the tv who checked the panel and after that when my brother nitin saxena followed up, they asked him to send the pictures of the bill at [protected]@gmail.com and then disappeared. Last when i called, they sent another technician called pankaj who clicked some pics of the panel and then no response received. I was given the time till 11 july and today when i called, they asked me to wait till next week (Ashok is the name of the supervisor on # [protected]) saying that part/panel may not be available etc.

                                      1. I had bought a hitachi window ac rav 518 hud 1.5 ton on 14 may 2017 from sham lal krishan lal, sadar bazaar, delhi cantt. I had made my decision to buy the product from hitachi since i had heard about the quality of their products although they are on the costlier side. However the hitachi window ac has not been working properly since day 1, with low cooling and frost forming on the coolant coils, which has caused great harassment to me. Since then seven complaints have been lodged with your complaint cell online about the low cooling and frost forming on the front cooling coil. Reps have come to rectify the problem. Not only they were unprofessional in their conduct, they were also unable to identify the problem in the first five times (Complaints). As a response to the sixth complaint, mr ashok who seemed to be knowing something better in comparison to the earlier reps of service centre, told that the problem could be due to moisture in the gas while it was filled initially in the factory (!). He recommended the gas to be taken out from the ac and filled again. The same was done against breakdown no [protected] on 9 july 2017 by two reps of the service centre who took out the gas inside the room without wearing any masks / protective equipment and without any warning to us, thereby putting themselves as well as the other people in the house at risk of harmful gas r22 (A carcinogen). It was told to the service reps also that inhaling that gas is not good for them also. But maybe hitachi does not lay too much emphasis on safety of its staff as well as its customers. However the problem still persists and hitachi window ac is still not functioning.
                                      2. I am finally bringing it to your knowledge to have the hitachi window ac rav 518 hud 1.5 ton, being a defective piece be replaced with a new one.

                                      UPDATE : The technicians had come on 12 Jul 2017 and taken the Window AC to their service centre. However today I get an SMS on my mobile giving the closure of the call number [protected]. SMS attached. How is it possible to close the complaint when the AC has not been returned to me and is still with the service centre at Dwarka. Also, the complaint can only be closed after it is installed in my house AND TESTED, and after the technician has taken MY SIGNATURE against the complaint job receipt. This shows the lackadaisical attitude of your service centre and your consumer complaint redressal system. I have never experienced this sort of customer service and redressal. The experience with Hitachi is definitely a first.

                                        I bought hitachi split ac - 1.5tr hitachi waza 3200i inverter - r410a - rsd318eaea in june 2017. I have purchased this ac from
                                        Big bazaar, gip, noida. Since then it has not been functioning properly. Soon after one week from the date of purchase, it stopped working. After complaining till more than 7 days, it was detected that pcb card is faulty. Finally it was replaced with another one. It worked well till 15-20 days. Then it again stopped working and is having the same problem which i had faced earlier. I am constantly complaining to harish gupta, head of the shine bagh branch, new delhi, but in vain. I don't know what to do. I would like to request others not to purchase hitachi ac any more.

                                        It seems that already faulty ac unit was delivered to me by Hitachi dealer. What's the use of having such ac when we have not been able to sleep properly due to scorching heat in Delhi. Response from concerned company seems pathetic and intolerable. Will have to look forward against such fradulent company if my problem is not addressed at the earliest.

                                        i purchased hitachi inverter split ac on 17/06/2017 from bigbazaar gip, noida. Soon after a week ac stopped working. I lodged complaint and found out that pcb board is faulty. A week after complaint lodged, it was replaced with another one but after strict follow up with customer service center. I spoke to customer service center several times just to know about the progress of my complaint. but each time I got no clear reply from service.

                                        Now after two or three weeks I have the same problem in my Hitachi split ac. That is pcb board again faulty. Again I lodged complaint on 09/07/2017 regarding the same issue but the complaint was closed without resolving my problem. I have been calling customer service center consistently regarding the progress of my complaint. but each time i didn't get any proper response from the hitachi customer service center. Now my problem is still unresolved. I have completly become fed up with the hitach customer care response. I need the justice with compensesion.
                                        I have completely lost my peace of mind due to irresponsive behaviour of Hitachi.

                                        Friends, Hitachi is one of the worst service provider. My advice is Never buy Hitachi product. I will Never recommend anyone to buy this product as it is a complete waste of money and your time and peace of mind as well

                                        You have already done so much delay in resolving Hitach ac PCB fault. It simply shows how disgusting and pathetic your service is . Me and my family have not been able to sleep for days just becuase of this so much delay. I would never recommend to anyone to purchase any Hitachi products. Very soon I will spread awarness on social sites regarding about HITACH being so fradulent and irresponsive in providing customer services. It first sells defective product to customers and then customers have to go through endless trouble and mental disturbances.

                                        Again I am the victim of fraudulent Hitachi product Split Ac due to the occurrences of the same technical issue or PCB fault which I had earlier twice. And this is the third time I have been facing even after replacement with new split ac after 15 days of installation. The nature of technical fault is consistent in both the split acs. The problem is of faulty PCB. I have been the consistent sufferer/victim of irresponsibility, fraudulence shown towards customer by Hitachi. I am having the same technical issue even after the replacement. My first split ac was replaced on 21/08/2017 due to occurrence of the faulty PCB twice as I already mentioned above several time. After 15 days of replacement I am having the same issue with 2nd Split ac also. Now I have lost trust or faith in Hitachi's product. Hitachi products are not reliable any more. Beware of such fraudulent brand!. Now I want my money back including all the expenses that I had to bear like installation charge, extendable warrenty cost along with ac cost and Rs. 50, 000 as a compensation for the mental and physical stress and the agony that my family and I have been facing since I purchased Hitachi split ac.
