This is to inform that i bought a hitachi led tv in the month of feb 2017 which started malfunctioning in the month of june so the case was filed on 5th june. After so many follow ups, the service team informed about the issue being with panel so they assured to replace the panel within a week and since then i am waiting for someone to resolve my issue.
They sent a technician named laxman ([protected]) on june 7 to check the tv who checked the panel and after that when my brother nitin saxena followed up, they asked him to send the pictures of the bill at [protected]@gmail.com and then disappeared. Last when i called, they sent another technician called pankaj who clicked some pics of the panel and then no response received. I was given the time till 11 july and today when i called, they asked me to wait till next week (Ashok is the name of the supervisor on # [protected]) saying that part/panel may not be available etc.

    1. I had bought a hitachi window ac rav 518 hud 1.5 ton on 14 may 2017 from sham lal krishan lal, sadar bazaar, delhi cantt. I had made my decision to buy the product from hitachi since i had heard about the quality of their products although they are on the costlier side. However the hitachi window ac has not been working properly since day 1, with low cooling and frost forming on the coolant coils, which has caused great harassment to me. Since then seven complaints have been lodged with your complaint cell online about the low cooling and frost forming on the front cooling coil. Reps have come to rectify the problem. Not only they were unprofessional in their conduct, they were also unable to identify the problem in the first five times (Complaints). As a response to the sixth complaint, mr ashok who seemed to be knowing something better in comparison to the earlier reps of service centre, told that the problem could be due to moisture in the gas while it was filled initially in the factory (!). He recommended the gas to be taken out from the ac and filled again. The same was done against breakdown no [protected] on 9 july 2017 by two reps of the service centre who took out the gas inside the room without wearing any masks / protective equipment and without any warning to us, thereby putting themselves as well as the other people in the house at risk of harmful gas r22 (A carcinogen). It was told to the service reps also that inhaling that gas is not good for them also. But maybe hitachi does not lay too much emphasis on safety of its staff as well as its customers. However the problem still persists and hitachi window ac is still not functioning.
    2. I am finally bringing it to your knowledge to have the hitachi window ac rav 518 hud 1.5 ton, being a defective piece be replaced with a new one.

    UPDATE : The technicians had come on 12 Jul 2017 and taken the Window AC to their service centre. However today I get an SMS on my mobile giving the closure of the call number [protected]. SMS attached. How is it possible to close the complaint when the AC has not been returned to me and is still with the service centre at Dwarka. Also, the complaint can only be closed after it is installed in my house AND TESTED, and after the technician has taken MY SIGNATURE against the complaint job receipt. This shows the lackadaisical attitude of your service centre and your consumer complaint redressal system. I have never experienced this sort of customer service and redressal. The experience with Hitachi is definitely a first.

      I bought hitachi split ac - 1.5tr hitachi waza 3200i inverter - r410a - rsd318eaea in june 2017. I have purchased this ac from
      Big bazaar, gip, noida. Since then it has not been functioning properly. Soon after one week from the date of purchase, it stopped working. After complaining till more than 7 days, it was detected that pcb card is faulty. Finally it was replaced with another one. It worked well till 15-20 days. Then it again stopped working and is having the same problem which i had faced earlier. I am constantly complaining to harish gupta, head of the shine bagh branch, new delhi, but in vain. I don't know what to do. I would like to request others not to purchase hitachi ac any more.

      It seems that already faulty ac unit was delivered to me by Hitachi dealer. What's the use of having such ac when we have not been able to sleep properly due to scorching heat in Delhi. Response from concerned company seems pathetic and intolerable. Will have to look forward against such fradulent company if my problem is not addressed at the earliest.

      i purchased hitachi inverter split ac on 17/06/2017 from bigbazaar gip, noida. Soon after a week ac stopped working. I lodged complaint and found out that pcb board is faulty. A week after complaint lodged, it was replaced with another one but after strict follow up with customer service center. I spoke to customer service center several times just to know about the progress of my complaint. but each time I got no clear reply from service.

      Now after two or three weeks I have the same problem in my Hitachi split ac. That is pcb board again faulty. Again I lodged complaint on 09/07/2017 regarding the same issue but the complaint was closed without resolving my problem. I have been calling customer service center consistently regarding the progress of my complaint. but each time i didn't get any proper response from the hitachi customer service center. Now my problem is still unresolved. I have completly become fed up with the hitach customer care response. I need the justice with compensesion.
      I have completely lost my peace of mind due to irresponsive behaviour of Hitachi.

      Friends, Hitachi is one of the worst service provider. My advice is Never buy Hitachi product. I will Never recommend anyone to buy this product as it is a complete waste of money and your time and peace of mind as well

      You have already done so much delay in resolving Hitach ac PCB fault. It simply shows how disgusting and pathetic your service is . Me and my family have not been able to sleep for days just becuase of this so much delay. I would never recommend to anyone to purchase any Hitachi products. Very soon I will spread awarness on social sites regarding about HITACH being so fradulent and irresponsive in providing customer services. It first sells defective product to customers and then customers have to go through endless trouble and mental disturbances.

      Again I am the victim of fraudulent Hitachi product Split Ac due to the occurrences of the same technical issue or PCB fault which I had earlier twice. And this is the third time I have been facing even after replacement with new split ac after 15 days of installation. The nature of technical fault is consistent in both the split acs. The problem is of faulty PCB. I have been the consistent sufferer/victim of irresponsibility, fraudulence shown towards customer by Hitachi. I am having the same technical issue even after the replacement. My first split ac was replaced on 21/08/2017 due to occurrence of the faulty PCB twice as I already mentioned above several time. After 15 days of replacement I am having the same issue with 2nd Split ac also. Now I have lost trust or faith in Hitachi's product. Hitachi products are not reliable any more. Beware of such fraudulent brand!. Now I want my money back including all the expenses that I had to bear like installation charge, extendable warrenty cost along with ac cost and Rs. 50, 000 as a compensation for the mental and physical stress and the agony that my family and I have been facing since I purchased Hitachi split ac.

      I don't need your faulty product and services any more . Take your faulty split ac back and refund my money including AC cost+ extended warrenty cost+ installation charges along with Rs 50, 000 as a compensation due to mental and physical stress that my family and I have gone through since I purchased Hitachi Split Ac.

      My problem is still not resolved and want to replace the defective ac with new one. Because it has manufacturing defects Who knows when it will stop working. Although it's working currently yet I can not trust this defective ac.

        I recently bought a hitachi window a/c from vijay sales who said that rs. 500 would be installation charges where the hitachi company person would do the installation + fill up gaps in the window.

        Now hitachi people are charging rs. 550 for installation and additional money to fill the gaps and are refusing to give a bill. When we are calling vijay sales, central market, lajpat nagar, delhi, they are not picking up the phones or the phones are all busy.

        Hitachi customer care is refusing to help, even though i said that its a dispute between the company and dealer, so they should talk to the dealer, but they just started talking rudely.

          Its been 5 months, i putting my complain in hitachi customer care.
          They send the executive 10 days after complaint. Take our ac for minimum a week, come back n put it.
          Next day its the same. They dont know what is the problem nor they know how to rectify.
          We are really annoyed n dont know what to do.
          Hitachi not heping us out.

            My hitachi ac stopped working just in a month of buying on june 23. I immediately logged a complaint with their customer support. Complaint no. Is [protected]. Since then they are continuously saying they will repair it soon. After much arguments their technician visited on june 28. 5 days after complaint registration. He took one controller card with him to repair. After that nothing happened till july 4, when suddenly it was announced that the card was not faulty, another part is. And they have took away another card with them. Again they are saying same thing. It was taken with a promise to return the very next day. Now even on july 7, they are saying if card is available it will be replaced tomorrow, otherwise more time is expected. I am talking to them daily on phone and on facebook messenger for last 14 days, have also posted on their facebook page, but to no avail. I have written to their country heads on a facility provided on android app also.
            Further, first time in my life i have come across a service provider who take away faulty part with them at their whim without a replacement. All other providers check the machine and bring replacement before taking away faulty. No receipt is provided either and on top of that my ac is in open condition (Without top cover) since june 28 gathering dust. Such a pathetic situation.

            I am listening this Cruel Joke for last 14 days dude. Bring something new.

            I do not need your representative to be in touch. They are already working satisfactorily. You people need to get your house right.

            What your Delhi service personnel are supposed to do when you are not providing them with spares. Excuse that spare has to come from Ahmedabad is in itself a bad joke and unheard off. Small companies like IFB are far better then you.

              Hi Team,

              This is the fourth time I am contacting you for the same issue. In my last Email I mentioned that your executive promised to come to my house to fill leaked gas in the window AC. After making several calls to the customer, an executive visited and filled the GAS on Monday.

              The Ac just worked for 1 day and again it is the same. There is no cooling at all.

              I am so dam fed up with this product and your customer care. I have made another complaint today (Complaint num [protected]) and this time I need this AC to be replaced ASAP.

              I need this to be done by tomorrow or else I am going to the consumer court.

                I purchased Hitachi Airconditioner 1.5 ton split ac, inverter type on 28/03/2017. from the day of purchase I have been facing several problems related to product and services.

                the local service centre never attends call in timer and also never keep-up their commitment on appointment time. the unit remote was defective during sales and replaced thereafter. still the replaced one getting ON intermittently on its own. the other hand the AC cooling going very low within weeks of service. we are residing in the centre of chennai city. there is no manufacturing industry in our locality. still the AC is not able to work in city environment. your technician claims that it cannot work in city dust environment. it was wrongly sold to me in the commitment that it will work in city. so I request refund of full purchase amount and take back the AC unit.

                  Sir,
                  My Hitachi 1.5 ton A.C(Air Conditioner)was not working from 3rd June 2017.Complain no is [protected].The Mechanic from Hitachi was came on 05/06/2017 & He told that"The internal fuse of A.C is damage so it is replaced by company because it is under warranty period".Still the problem is not solved.I purchased it from Great Eastern, Kazipara, 290 G.T Road, Howrah-711102.

                    I bought new Hitachi 1.5 TON Split AC from Vijay Sales, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad on Sunday, 18th June 2017. The AC was installed on Thursday 22nd June, 2017. Just 2 days after installation, AC started giving loud NOISE in the outside Unit. A complaint was lodged on Sunday 25th June vide SR No.: [protected]. After repeated reminder technician came for repair on wednesday, 28th June at 2:30pm. He inspected the AC but had no clue on why Noise is coming. Finally he made excuse that he is not carrying all his instruments and other parts so he will again come tomorrow. I'm very sure he will not come tomorrow.
                    This is really the worst After Sales service and poor product quality from a company like Hitachi.

                    The technician arrived after reminders. This time he has mentioned that the outer unit is installed incorrectly and needs to be re-installed. The installation was done by Krishna enterprise, Noida and the technician has come from Air-cool enterprise Noida. Now in addition to Noise issue, I've got re-installation issue. God knows when the new AC will really start working. This is the first and last time I'm buying any product from Hitachi. Worst brand and worst customer service.

                      we regret to say that very very poor service from johnson and control service centre, . whether we given Semi AMC of the machine, but one of AC at PURULIA DH still breakdown from last 2 and half months, which is really pathetic.
                      the machine is still not working for only leakage and replacement of Motor. Continually contact with area assistant mgr Mr. Subha Das, but receive only assurance not to do the work. Also give false quotation of 10, 000/- for rectification of leakage only after changing of whole copper pipe line.After thoroughly checkup the technician admit that not need to replace the pipeline, Which proof that they are fraud in their role activities.
                      I am strongly disagree to use such brand in future also recommend to others to do the same.

                        I have been facing the breakdown of the ac from past 2 months. The technician comes every time and without completely monitoring the issue they leave. Every time they say that some part is needed to change and after that i have to wait for 10 days minimum. After replacing the parts also the problem persists. Now the current complaint [protected] is opened from 22nd june and the technician informed that he needs to change the motherboard and check also for that he has place the request for the motherboard. Till date he has not came to me with the spare parts. Is this how hitachi use to torture its customer. I am completely fed up with your services. If your technician are not able to fix the issue then please replace the machine as it is in warranty period. The technician gave his head numbers and ask me to contact them, but they are not picking the phone. They are mr sabir[protected] & mr shakeel [protected]

                          I have purchased a split 1.5 ton ac from hitachi ras318iwd (3star) from vijay sales on 10 th june 2017 from gurgaon

                          After the purchase the installation took 7 days and got installed on 17th june where as tat claimed by hitachi is 48 hours.
                          Anyways, the engineer from hiitachi 3rd party agency vr aircon engineers, gurgaon took pain to visit my place to get this ac installed. They didnt took pain to take me through the its features etc. (No worries i managed to learn on my own)

                          It was just 4 days i enjoyed the cool air, a surprise was waiting for me. On 21st june when i switched on my ac it started with loud whistle sound and the auto cleaner came falling over my head with loud sound and the my clean white light started blinking continuously.

                          Well i still took it that its a durable item and it can have some such issues hence thought to take help of customer care,. I called them on 21st june and explained the story. Do note tat for such services to be attended is 48 hours. Complaint no : [protected]
                          I did received a call from 3rd party on 24th june around 11 am that they are coming to my place in an hour and i spent whole day waiting for them no body turned up. When i tried calling them they ensured to pass my call conveniently to different service engineers and no one turned up. I again called vr aircon engineers (3rd party agency of hitachi) on 25th june. They over the face told me that they are not going to visit my place.

                          Its 7th day and 9 reminders to hitachi customer care and no resolution to my problem.

                          My last ever any purchase of hitachi items and will make sure that i shouldnt recommend anyone.

                            Worst services ever seen. I have taken 3 ac's from hitachi and i was promised free installation on it. After purchase someone from service team called me for the installation and said it will be chargeable. I have send them the invoice stating free installation on which they said we cannot help you talk to showroom people from where you bought them. What a pathetic after sale service. Its been almost a week ac's are lying and no one is helping me. Neither i am getting resolutions from hitachi customer care. Go for any brand except hitachi as its a nightmare buying anything of this brand. Worst after sale, pathetic customer experience, unprofessional staff.

                              I have a window ac - 1.5tr hitachi kaze standard - raw318ksd which was bought in year june 2012.
                              Ac was working fine until april 2017 when we started having problems with cooling of ac, service request was opened and service executive named firoz visited the premises and said that the problem is with the capacitor of the ac and replaced the capacitor and took rs 750/- for capacitor and visiting charges as rs 400/- (Dated 14/4/2017).

                              Again, after couple of weeks, same problem was identified and again one of the executive visited our premises and said that the there is no problem, just servicing the ac will solve the problem. He then did the service and took rs 250 (This was within the month, hence no visiting charges this time and 500 for earlier visit was already paid so only 250 was to be paid out of rs 750).

                              This time also the problem was not identified by executive and we started having the problems within next couple of weeks.

                              So, as per the climate aircon services, molarband ext., badarpur, they sent a senior executive and he said that there is gas leakage in the cooling coil. So, this will need to be fixed and refill the gas after fixing the coil. This time rs 2500 were charged to repair the cooling coil and gas filling. (Services were performed on (12/5/2017)

                              This was also not of any help.

                              On 5/6/2017, complaint # [protected] was logged, again the executive visited our home and said that the cooling coil will need to be replaced.

                              It took climate aircon services, molarband ext., badarpur to get the part after 15 days of my diligently following up again and again including multiple visits to their office.

                              Finally, the cooling coil arrived on 20/6/2017 and gas was filled again and i was given assurance that the ac will work fiine now without any issues.

                              But, this was not the truth, on 23/6/17, ac is not cooling again and we are in the worse condition what we were before 2 months.

                              I now feel that i should have not opted for the hitachi services and should have opted out for the other options to get the ac rectified from some local shop. Wherein, they would have taken care of all these issues in one go.

                              I feel that hitachi after sales services is the worst and i would not advise buying hitachi product anyone.

                              Total expenses occurred till now is rs 7950 + (Time that i have been wasting following up with the service executives at hitachi) + i have been dealing with heat through out this summers instead of having an ac.

                              I have also attached the receipts of payments done so far.

                              Please look into this issue and get this problem solved asap.

                              The problem has not been resolved till now, now the executive is again asking me to replace the back coil which is worth 4700 Rs/-.
                              I have already spend 8000 rs/- (Details already mentioned in earlier post)and cannot spend 5000 rs/- more for just testing purposes of service guy.

                              More to add here, Executives themselves are not sure that whether the back coil replacement will also solve the problem, and AC will work normally.
                              I have already suffered a lot during the whole summers and still my machine is not working and also, I have already had multiple leaves from office just to welcome the executive for their testing with no results.

                              I need to have my money back now, if Hitachi is not able to repair their own products, then their is no use of selling the products.

                              Please take this issue on highest priority.

                                  My complaint for 3 door fridge pending since 1st june. The service people managing faridabad area are the worst people, the service head mr tarun and service guy manoj kumar are bluffing us from last 17 days. They must be sacked from their job for not performing their duties. Do you realize what it means without fridge in this heat.

                                  Buying hitachi product is the biggest worst decision. Never ever buy hitachi.

                                    I would like to bring to your notice that i registered break down of my split ac, model rauo 14 hpd, on 17th january, 2017 through web portal. Since then my complaint/request is unresolved.
                                    Against my complaint, local franchisee deputed service technician twice in the month of january, 2017 to diagnose the problem and to trace the error code. Later i was offered quotation for required spares namely pcb & smps. While discussing with area manager & service technician, they confirmed that dc motor within the ac is fault free. Since quotation of spares found on higher side, i requested area manager to pass on some discount on spares required to rectify the problem. Based on my request, area manager mr. Sandeep sough the approval of management about how much discount to offer in my case. Later i followed up twice with mr. Sundeep to know the status of approval on discount. Both the time, he was waiting for the response & conveyed me that whatever the decision, same would be conveyed to the local franchisee & in turn local franchisee would contact me. I never heard anything either from area manager or local franchisee. Later after 3-4 days, somebody from hitachi was inquiring the status and i narrated the same happening to him. He assured me to do the needful & move the matter. This gentleman also did not do anything in my case.
                                    Unfortunately, i got engaged in my personal task & was not able to make follow up & my family purchased cooler and managed the summer. As we had a very bad experience in the past, it was beyond the control of my family to handle the issue.
                                    This is very sad & i would say that this kind of after sales services not expected from a company like johnson controls - hitachi air conditioning india limited. The whole experience concludes that johnson controls - hitachi air conditioning india limited is not customer focused. Whatever discussion i had with your area manger reflected very casual approach towards the customer’s problem.in few cases, i found his behavior inappropriate. I doubted his ability to handle customer’s problem & find amicable solution to the problem.
                                    It was very surprising that customer’s request was closed without actually attending it. How can any complaint/ request be closed when still it is open? I used to raise frequent complaints in the month of january, 2017 & johnson controls - hitachi air conditioning india limited used to close it mentioning fake reason.

                                    I am ready to pay for the spares against the offer made in the month of january, 2017. I have already paid service charges in the month of january, 2017. I request you to resolve the case. This is perhaps a great learning & will be the last deal with johnson controls - hitachi air conditioning india limited. Before i complete, i would like to offer some suggestions which i think will be helpful in serving community. If johnson controls - hitachi air conditioning india limited cannot bring smile/ cheer on the face of customer, i thing business has got no value. If johnson controls - hitachi air conditioning india limited does not resolve my case, probably i will throw away my ac which will cost me mere rs. 10, 000 but if johnson controls - hitachi air conditioning india limited is losing many more customers, company is at a more loss than i am going to incur. I would recommend ethics rather than evil intentions. I will not like to approach consumer forum to resolve the case. Following points need to be improved.
                                    1. Compliant/request cannot be closed unless confirmed or agreed upon by customer.
                                    2. Hitachi is not customer focused.
                                    3. Area manager has to improve his behavior with customer.
                                    4. Lack of skilled/competent personnel.
                                    5. Lacking confidence in understanding the machine error code.
                                    6. Warranty for electronic parts like smps, pcb to be enhanced from 1 month to 1 year.

                                    I hope above suggestion will be helpful to the company.

                                      Sir, i have purchased hitachi split ac from malhotra electronics jacobpura gurgaon. But it is not working properly since the date of purchase and totally defective piece, which hitachi engineers could not repair. So much water is coming out inside the room and their engineers were failed to resolved this problem. I am calling them and paying on each and every time but hitachi engineers are unable to resolve the problem. Their engineer broken my room wall and spoiled full wall. They refused to repair it and could not resolve the problem till today. I explained to hitachi customer care executives several times by phone, but they could not help me to resolve the problem. Hitachi has given so much financial, emotional, physical and mental stress. Now i want to replace my split ac and get a new split ac from hitachi soon. Kindly look into the matter and solve it a. S.                                         Hi i m lakhvir kumar from jalandhar punjab. I had register for ac service on tuesday 11 am but nobody attended till friday. I had tried to contact with local office but not succeed. Then i made complaint and that i had received a call on saturday but i was out of town they said they will attend on sunday but nobody attended yet. Please check the status of my service and complaint. I had also try in your customer care today and he said the system is not working so i have to call again after 1 and half hour. Sorry to say everything is poor there including service, customer care.
