Pathetic customer care to resolve the issue of non cooling in a brand new split ac which was bought in november 2016 and has been giving continuous problems after the same was switched on in the summers. Logged in call 3 times - first on 18th may then on 27th may. Both times shah air conditioner unable to resolve the issue and complaint closed while problems comes back again in 2 days of not cooling. Third time customer compliant filed on 6th june. The call is again given to shah air conditioner and they have been unable to identify the problem and keep saying they will come back next day as nitrogen gas is finished or some other tools/equipment they are not carrying. Pathetic services and no resolution to the problem

    Last week in midst of the biggest heat wave gujarat/ vadodara is experiencing one of the air conditioner's stopped working.

    On subsequent complaint to the hitachi service st, my parents were informed that this air conditioner has a faulty blower which is causing problems. Now its been 5 days but the blower has not been replaced nor a satisfactory answer as to the turn around time for this has been given to my parents causing a lot of anguish and frustration.

    Their is no one in the baroda service time willing to address the issue. My father on calling the baroda service st had been informed that they don't have the blower in stock, and it will be replaced when they get the supply of that part. There is no guarantee as to when the part will arrive (How on earth can they give such kind of stupid answer to a customer)

    My email to you is for 2 reasons

    1. A third rate service given to customers.

    2. How can an ac which has effectively been used for only 2 months from start giving issues.

    I hope you can resolve this issue as vadodara is in the midst of heat wave. And i would not be very happy if my parents fall ill because of your tardy approach towards service issue.

      Sir, i have purchased hitachi split ac from malhotra electronics jacobpura gurgaon. But it is not working properly since the date of purchase and totally defective piece, which hitachi engineers could not repair. So much water is coming out inside the room and their engineers were failed to resolved this problem. I am calling them and paying on each and every time but hitachi engineers are unable to resolve the problem. Their engineer broken my room wall and spoiled full wall. They refused to repair it and could not resolve the problem till today. I explained to hitachi customer care executives several times by phone, but they could not help me to resolve the problem. Hitachi has given so much financial, emotional, physical and mental stress. Now i want to replace my split ac and get a new split ac from hitachi soon. Kindly look into the matter and solve it a. S.         Hi,
        When I made my home about 4 years back I purchased Hitachi Air Conditions for my home thinking that Hitachi Home Ac’s are the best as advertised but contrary to my thought it turned out to be night mare for me and now I regret why I purchased Hitachi Ac’s and I tell the same to all whom I know.
        Since I purchased the AC’s it made horrible sound when it is switched ON as if it is going to burst, I made several complaint of the same but the engineers and technicians could not rectify, finally I accepted that Hitachi AC’s are like that only. Last month one of the AC stopped cooling for which I complained Hitachi Customer care with complaint no [protected] for which the technician from the authorized vendor told that the gas has leaked and the leakage need to be sealed and the gas need to be recharged, I got it done and made payment for the same on 15th May 2017. I WAS ALSO TOLD THAT THE REPAIR WARRANTY THE PRODUCT FOR SAME PROBLEM FOR THREE MONTHS AND IT SHALL BE REPAIRED WITHOUT ANY CHARGES. To my surprise the AC stopped cooling again within 12 - 15 days for which I complained again the Hitachi Customer with complaint number [protected] subsequent to which technician came to attend the problem from earlier authorized service vendor and told that they need to carry the AC to their service center and finally I was told that there is leakage again and I will need to replace the part which was repaired last time and make payment for the same (I do not know if it is true or just money making business). I resisted and told them that the repair shall be made under warranty if the part was to be replace it shall be told to me in the first instance so that I would have took the decision at first instance only. Finally the vendor returned my AC unrepaired.
        I escalated my complaint to Manager at manager.[protected]@jci-hitachi.com on 30 May 2017 then to General Manager at jch-india-gm.[protected]@jci-hitachi.com on 31 May 2017 and finally to National Head at head.[protected]@jci-hitachi.com on 31st May 2017 but no response so far even after 8 days.
        This is the example of worst customer care of a company. To show the company has put the contact to approach the management for redressal of the problem and the management does not even reply.
        Now even if my complaint is attended my sufferings during peak of the summers will not be undone.
        Purpose of this mail is to let you know the suffering to me and my family for purchasing Hitachi Ac’s during the peak summers in India when the temperature was at its worst Me and my family will never talk good about Hitachi products and advice all our friends and know not buy Hitachi Products.

          I am very disappointed from the irresponsible behaviour of the service center of peenya, bangalore
          I have registered "request for installing split ac" in my new house. On 26th may'17 (Registered mobile no. [protected])
          Pls. Note following points:
          1. On 27th may (Saturday), i was called by concerned person of hitachi, peenya, bangalore, telling me to be available in the house. So, i was available whole day, but no technician visited. On calling, my call was not attended, neither i was call back. My whole day got wasted.
          2. Further, when i call for technician on sunday, the technician visited my house, we have discussed for the place of installation, but he told he is not having the core drilling machine, so he will again come on monday i. E 29.05.17. At the same time, he took rs. 500 from me, telling that it will be adjusted in the final bill.

          3. Now, most frustrating part is when i have taken leave from my office on monday, and i was available whole day in my house, waiting for the technician, but none comes, neither none called me. When i called to technician, he simple told me that he cann't come today.
          Now, who will bare my salary of one day from my office, since unnecessary i have taken the leave.
          Further, when i tried multiple time to contact concerned person of hitachi, peenya, bangalore, as usual neither he attended my call, nor he bothers to call me back.

          I am seeking installation of my hitachi ac in my new house, after spending one day leave from my office, and rs 500 paid to the technician without any work.
          I request to kindly arrange for the solution, or pls. Refund my rs 500 + my one day salary of my work

            Sir,

            We bought hitachi air
            Conditioner (Hitachi sac zunoh 300f rau5181vd -1.5t 5s) on 12th march 2016 and our
            Expectations were very high, but we ended up in regestering service
            Complaints so many times that sometimes we doubt if we really bought a
            Brand new ac spending 55 k... It stops working every now and then, whenever
            The technicians come and repair it will run for few days and again the
            Problem starts (No cooling) suffering and suffering... Never ending process.

            Im 100 percent sure they gave me a defected product.

            Every month i have to call technicians for servicing but still the problem remains the same... Tried many times contacting hitachi customer care but they failed to give a permanent solution.

            Kindly look into the issue and help us.

            Hoping the issue will be resolved at the earliest in a best way.

              Hitachi has a very poor response to resolve the long pending issues. Despite several complaint logged like [protected], [protected] etc and many others. These are being closed in system without attending / resolving the issue. Huge noise and faulty swing are the main issues that hitachi is unable to resolve. Issues are referred to rajesh nagari, satish nair many times without any fruitful response.

                Replacement of AC part not attended to by JCI - Hitachi since last 2 weeks.
                Absolutely pathetic service cutomer care from this company.
                The customer care representative in Gujarat directs you to the service centre in Mumbai and the service centre will direct you to the customer care team.

                There is no ownership of issue resolution.

                Can only recommend to think twice before buying any HITACHI product

                  I had purchased a split ac 1.5tr hitachi tousi 3200f rau317kwd split ac, invoice no me/sal/may/0915/17-18 from matri electronics (Andul new market. P. O.-andul howrah-711302) on 6th may 2017. From the date of installation, i had faced a lot of problems, after one hour running on 6/5/2017 the light of the a/c blinks 2-3 times and automatically off. After that the ac is not working. I have also registered one complain on hitachi on 7/5/2017 (Breakdown req-[protected]). After my complain an engineer came and after inspection, he told that power pcb circuit is damaged. On 10/5/2017 the same engineer changed the power pcb. After 4 hours running the light of the filter clean blinks and automatically off. I have also registered one complain on hitachi on 13/5/2017 (Breakdown req-[protected] and [protected]). After my complain two engineer came on 15/5/2017 and after inspection, they told that voltage problem. You should buy one stablizer. Then i bought one stabilizer from sen & pandit electronics pvt. Ltd. On 16/5/2017. After 2 days (4 hours+4 hours) running the light of the filter clean blinks and automatically off. After facing so many problems, i think that the product is defective. I had complained a several times in the hitachi customer care which they attained but there was no satisfactory result. At present the ac is not working as it should. I and my family is facing a lot of problems. The purpose of buying this ac is in vain if i can’t use it when required.in this unwanted situation, i would humbly request you to make some arrangements to replace this defective unit with a new one as soon as possible.

                  I am also facing the same issue and I am really fed up with their services. They have changed the PCB ciruit, Added extra gas and now they are saying to change the motherboards of main machine and split. Just wanted to know is your issue completely fixed ???

                    Dear sir I have purchased a 1.5 ton Hitachi window ac of 37000₹ on 22/04/2017. Till now I have registered 3 complaints regarding non working of machine because of manufacturing defects. But still Hitachi company person are not replaceing the machine as per warranty only temporary solution are provided. Which are not workable after some time.

                      Dear mr. Satish,

                      You can see that i have taken an amc on 13th april as a continuation to my previous amc.

                      You guys do not have a clue about what customer service means since you are not honoring the clause of amc

                      I have registered a complaint for “no cooling” on 7the may with request number - [protected] on customer care.

                      The 3rd day a guy comes and removes my ac from window and tells me that someone will come to pick the ac in the evening.
                      It is 12 days and no one has come to pick the ac which is lying in my balcony with a big hole in my window.

                      We called customer care 3-5 times and they have the same stale answered that it is pending and they cannot do anything about it.
                      My wife finally did the 1st escalation on your website about 4-5 days ago. There was not response

                      Finally when all this became unbearable/tormenting/ humiliating i wrote to your national head yesterday and still do not see any action. Pfa

                      My requests

                      1. You can take as much time to fix the ac which is under amc and i will ensure you guys come to consumer forum and spend a day atleast out of your air-conditioned chambers
                      2. Since hitachi worldwide - parent company is spending so much on all of you to keep customers happy and no one is bothered i would like you to send me the names and email id’s of 3 top bosses at the level of ceo, cfo, md so that i can write to them regarding the ground realities being faced by customers.
                      3. I may have to gently search out these contacts from the internet if i do not get a response from you
                      4. Let me know how you will compensate me for the pathetic service you are providing.

                      I hope with the kind of harassment i have faced my requests are genuine and you will comply to ensure that your team does not become further embarrassment to your company and you will try to fulfill my asks. Thanks!

                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                      I have purchased an Air conditioner (Split, 1.5 Ton, Wall Mounting) of Model no. ESD 318EAEA on 30.04.2017.

                      Authorized Person from your end have installed that AC after two days.

                      The Problem i am facing after Installation is given bellow-----

                      1. After 01 days of Installation Heavy Water start falling from Indoor Unit. I rang to the Person who have installed, he came after two days and attend the problem.

                      2. After another 10 Days (Approx.) it stop start Cooling, Authorized per son came and attend that problem.

                      3. Huge Vibration (Wall Shaking ) and a Humming Sound coming out from Indoor Unit

                      4. Heavy Bad smell coming out from Indoor Unit, Authorized person Came and attend that Problem.

                      5. White Light Glowing Permanently along with Yellow light, Authorized person Came and attend that problem.
                      6.Opening/Closing Flipper remail Open when the AC in not running also. Hitachi Engg could not solve the problems.
                      7. Outdoor Unit found bend when Hitachi person unpacked it for installation.

                      8. Yesterday The AC stop working and glowing White, Yellow light, after few times Green light start blinking...I called customer Care and book for Breakdown.
                      Today Authorized Person came and attend that problem and he told me that

                      The PCB Board either Indoor unit or Out door unit or may be Both Unit Damaged / Creating Problem &They need another 03 Days to make the decision...

                      Sir, Keeping all the Circumstances in my mind i request you to Kindly Replace My existing (Faulty) air conditioner as soon as possible...

                        I have purchased 1.5 ton 3 star hitachi ac last year. Currently my remote is not working. I have registered my complain on 15/05/2017 and hitachi committed me that within 48 hours their technical team will visit. But even after this is 5th day and many follow ups i have taken, no body visited. Hitachi people are heartless as i already said them that i have 6 month old baby and we can not stay in this heat waves. Even after this request no body is answering.

                        Please help me. And in future please do not go with hitachi. I strongly suggest do not go with them as they do not know values of commitment.

                          Even after completion of 96 hours of lodging complaint, my problem is not resolved yet. I have not got any call from your side.
                          I talked to Mr. Abhilash, Mr. Hardik and Mr. Mahesh but they only assured me and not resolved my problem.
                          I am mentally and physically traumatized with this 45 C temperature and after talking to your call centre staff. First of all these people avoided to talk to me but after persistent insisting, I got a chance to talk with above mentioned people. They told me that they will call back me within 30 min but they haven’t called me even after 15 hours. I spent a lot of time and money while talking to them and now I am forced to write to you.

                            Sir, I have purchased Hitachi split ac on dated 28/04/2013 from malhotra electronics jacobpura gurgaon. But it is not working properly since the date of purchase and totally defective piece, which Hitachi engineers could not repair. So much water is coming out inside the room and their engineers were failed to resolved this problem. I am calling them and paying on each and every time but Hitachi engineers are unable to resolve the problem. Their engineer broken my room wall and spoiled full wall. They refused to repair it and could not resolve the problem till today. I explained to Hitachi customer care executives several times by phone, but they could not help me to resolve the problem. Hitachi has given so much financial, emotional, physical and mental stress. Now I want to replace my split ac and get a new split ac from Hitachi soon. Kindly look into the matter and solve it a.S.A.P and oblige.

                              Good Morning!

                              This is in context to Hitachi Inverter Air Conditioner bought under TPDDL Scheme Registration No [protected] Dated 26/3/16.
                              Since the day we had got registered through TPDDL Scheme we are facing problem in Sales and Service with Hitachi.

                              Firstly, there was a long wait for the product to be shipped, everyday i was calling the sales team to deliver the product. After my daily calls and repeated mails I received the product after 20 days.

                              Then after we had been facing problem with the service. No complaint is completed in one attempt as there service persons are not fully equipped. Entire ONE year i had been giving complaints of the product not functioning properly but there had been no conclusion on the same.

                              I have requested them to please Refund me as now i am literally harassed using this product.

                              List of complaints done in last one month-

                              31 March'17-[protected]-Service.
                              Complaint attended after one week that only after my repeated calls to the service centre.
                              Service person came and cleaned the indoor unit and told that there is NO Gas kindly generate new complaint.

                              7 April'17-[protected]- Refilling of Gas.
                              Service person came and refilled. Again we have to requested him to get the service of the outer unit done in the same complaint.

                              19 April'17- [protected]- Water Dripping and Cooling
                              Service person came and checked he had cut the Pipe and told still there is less Gas, kindly get it checked.

                              21 April'17- [protected]-Water Dripping & No cooling
                              Service person found leakage and Got the gas top up.

                              27 April'17- 6:30 AM [protected]- Water Dripping ( Rain)
                              I received a call from the service centre and i refused for the service, then i was made speak to Mr. Nitin- North Delhi Service head, he told me that i shall arrange visit of senior service person but No complaint was attended till 1 May'17.

                              1 May'17- [protected]- Complaint not attended till date so new service no allotted.
                              Again i have to call Service centre for the same problem. Service person attended the complain on 2 May'17.
                              4 May'17 Mr. Nitin had send Mr. Siddqui Ansari to check and according to him everything is OK.

                              5 May'17-05:05 AM [protected] Water Dripping ( Rain)

                              i have told to connect to the management on the email id mentioned, i had send mail to Mr. Vishal Marar- Manager National Service Centre and also Mr Satish Nairo, Mr Rajesh Nagari and the Delhi Corporate office Mr.Singh but i have not received any call or mail from there end.

                              As already intimated i am looking forward for refund of this Hitachi Product, i do not wish to get any other services done.
                              There is again a white light stable on my unit which have already informed Mr.Nitin.
                              I really cannot sit daily and keep complaining... do you understand this very clearly. I had send a mail to Mr. Tejbir to please escalate the same within the 10 days of writing this mail to you.

                                This is pankaj singh and my registered mobile number is [protected]. Our first request on april for servicing and repair of ac was left unfinished.. Even then the request was closed. We contacted the service provider several times.. Then again registered a complaint on 12.05.2017 with hitachi.in spite of several requests the ac was not repaired even after contacting the engineer several time.. Worst service i have experienced ever. I think the the company doesn't care to maintain its goodwill.

                                  I have purchased 3 split ac from electronic paradise last year. Since last year ac are giving problem, one outdoor unit was replaced last year itself by the company when the compressor of brand new unit was found leaking.

                                  Now this year another ac is giving nightmares. Company technicians have visited over 6 times and refilled ac gas thrice but the ac is not functioning properly.

                                  I am suffering from last one and a half month regarding this and escalating this issue here and there and getting no proper response from the company.

                                  Now i want the company to replace the faulty product or refund me my money as ac which is not repaired in 6 times is faulty and is bound to fail again and is beyond repairable means.

The company has not given me free wet service in due time period when i request for wet service they told that you have to pay for that. Mr shavez an engineer of this company came for service in off winter season an assured me that he will do wet service in the coming season but still he has not came yet.                                       I had bought split ac - 1.5tr hitachi ace fms r410a - rau518euda - (W/o conn. Kit) / logicool 5300f r410a
                                      From mr baljit singh of national electronic, amloh road, mandi gobindgarh, fatehgarh sahib, punjab, india

                                      The unit was bought on 30.06.2016 and to date i have been requesting the dealer to give me a bill but have not been given.

                                      The unit has not been working and i have made repeated complaints to dealer who has assured me that the unit will be changed as it was a defective unit.
                                      Your customer care tells me that someone has come and repaired the unit which is a lie and they have not been able to produce any proof for the same.
                                      I think the dealer and local service people have given me a defective / duplicate model and therefore are reluctant to give me a bill /warranty card even 11 months after the purchase.

                                      Today when i met the dealer, he told me that he cannot do anything about it and i should go to consumer court to resolve the issue.
                                      I would like to request you kindly look into the matter, get my ac evaluated and replaced. Also kindly take action against the dealer who is spoiling the hitachi name.

                                      Mr Kuljinder Singh kindly came on 16th May and suggested certain modifications which were then made.
                                      He again came on 23rd to check. And finally on 25th May he came and told me that this AC cannot be repaired and company has to replace it.

                                      I am sorry to say that the cooling is still not happening and you can check the same with him too. The temperature did not come below 28 degrees even after 1 hour.

                                      We feel that the equipment supplied to us by the dealer is faulty and would request you to kindly have the unit replaced as it is still under warranty.

                                      Hoping for a quick response and action as it is peak summer right now and we are stuck in this situation.

                                        We purchased 3 hitachi acs from chawla electronics delhi on 05.09.2011. Unfortunately, the above one ac installed at my residence k-66/c, sheikh sarai, phase-ii, new delhi-110017 was not cooling and showing e9 sign. Accordingly i took up the matter with hitachi customer care who informed that my breakdown request [protected] for the air condtioner shall be attended. Thereafter on 14.05.2017 one executive named amir khan having identity card without any id no visisted my residence. I explained him the problem in the
                                        Ac and requested him to see the wiring connected to the moter installed in the ac whether it is intact.in stead of seeing the wiring connection, after seeing e9 sign in the ac, he told me that the moter is not working and it has to change and the cost for the same would be rs.6700/- plus rs.500/- for the visiting charges. I told him that i am not ready to pay rs.6700/- for the moter, which seems to be on the very high side and ferthermore it is not sure whether the moter is out of order. Then he insisted me for paying rs.500/- being visiting charges, which i paid him and having receipt s. No.777 of star air contioning services, h. No. 1, kh. No.154, rajpur khurd, new delhi-110068 whereas on the so called id card produced by the engineer the address is chhattarpur, new delhi-110074.

                                        Then i called a local ac mechanic who within 3 minutes showed me crack in the moter wire; he joined the wire put the tape and the ac started working.

                                        This shows that the so called hitachi ac engineer was either not having complete knowledge or he was befooling me by saying that the moter is defectife and required to be changed and for that i had to pay rs.6700/-.

                                        The above shows the mal practice of the hitachi in the after sale customer service on their products.

                                        Under the circumstances, i request hitachi co. Ltd. To refund me rs.500/- charged by their so called technician and also give me a apology letter immediately within 7 days of this mail; otherwise i shall refer the whole story in print/tv media with full facts and figures.
