I have purchased 2 ton hitachi split a. C on 3.4.2016 from electonic bazar faizabad road lucknow. The company has not given me free wet service in due time period when i request for wet service they told that you have to pay for that. Mr shavez an engineer of this company came for service in off winter season an assured me that he will do wet service in the coming season but still he has not came yet. It is the duty an responsibility of the company to provide wet free service. I request to do the needful action on this matter.

    Dear sir,

    I had bought split ac - 1.5tr hitachi ace fms r410a - rau518euda - (W/o conn. Kit) / logicool 5300f r410a
    From mr baljit singh of national electronic, amloh road, mandi gobindgarh, fatehgarh sahib, punjab, india

    The unit was bought on 30.06.2016 and to date i have been requesting the dealer to give me a bill but have not been given.

    The unit has not been working and i have made repeated complaints to dealer who has assured me that the unit will be changed as it was a defective unit.
    Your customer care tells me that someone has come and repaired the unit which is a lie and they have not been able to produce any proof for the same.
    I think the dealer and local service people have given me a defective / duplicate model and therefore are reluctant to give me a bill /warranty card even 11 months after the purchase.

    Today when i met the dealer, he told me that he cannot do anything about it and i should go to consumer court to resolve the issue.
    I would like to request you kindly look into the matter, get my ac evaluated and replaced. Also kindly take action against the dealer who is spoiling the hitachi name.

    Dear Sir,

    Thank you for your response to solve the problem with my AC

    Mr Kuljinder Singh kindly came on 16th May and suggested certain modifications which were then made.
    He again came on 23rd to check. And finally on 25th May he came and told me that this AC cannot be repaired and company has to replace it.

    I am sorry to say that the cooling is still not happening and you can check the same with him too. The temperature did not come below 28 degrees even after 1 hour.

    We feel that the equipment supplied to us by the dealer is faulty and would request you to kindly have the unit replaced as it is still under warranty.

    Hoping for a quick response and action as it is peak summer right now and we are stuck in this situation.

      We purchased 3 hitachi acs from chawla electronics delhi on 05.09.2011. Unfortunately, the above one ac installed at my residence k-66/c, sheikh sarai, phase-ii, new delhi-110017 was not cooling and showing e9 sign. Accordingly i took up the matter with hitachi customer care who informed that my breakdown request [protected] for the air condtioner shall be attended. Thereafter on 14.05.2017 one executive named amir khan having identity card without any id no visisted my residence. I explained him the problem in the
      Ac and requested him to see the wiring connected to the moter installed in the ac whether it is intact.in stead of seeing the wiring connection, after seeing e9 sign in the ac, he told me that the moter is not working and it has to change and the cost for the same would be rs.6700/- plus rs.500/- for the visiting charges. I told him that i am not ready to pay rs.6700/- for the moter, which seems to be on the very high side and ferthermore it is not sure whether the moter is out of order. Then he insisted me for paying rs.500/- being visiting charges, which i paid him and having receipt s. No.777 of star air contioning services, h. No. 1, kh. No.154, rajpur khurd, new delhi-110068 whereas on the so called id card produced by the engineer the address is chhattarpur, new delhi-110074.

      Then i called a local ac mechanic who within 3 minutes showed me crack in the moter wire; he joined the wire put the tape and the ac started working.

      This shows that the so called hitachi ac engineer was either not having complete knowledge or he was befooling me by saying that the moter is defectife and required to be changed and for that i had to pay rs.6700/-.

      The above shows the mal practice of the hitachi in the after sale customer service on their products.

      Under the circumstances, i request hitachi co. Ltd. To refund me rs.500/- charged by their so called technician and also give me a apology letter immediately within 7 days of this mail; otherwise i shall refer the whole story in print/tv media with full facts and figures.

        I raised a service request no. [protected] with hitachi as my ac was not cooling effectively. Your engineers took my ac to their workshop the same day.
        I got back the ac on 04th May with your engineer saying that there was no gas in my ac and i need to pay rs. 3000 for gas charging. I was shocked as i got the gas filled a week back from outside repair shop. But i had to pay rs. 3000 as he said that the ac is working fine now.

        After using my ac for an hour on 04th May i found out that it is still not cooling effectively. I felt cheated. I raised one more service request to get the issue resolved. Now your service engineer told that the air flow is low and the motor needs to be repaired/changed. I got it done from outside and now my ac is working absolutely fine.

        Now tell me why i was charged Rs 3000 if the ac did not cool even after gas charging. I request you to pl. refund my money and don't aggrieve your loyal customer.

          Paid Rs 68500 for a fridge and now I need to pay another Rs 8000 within 2 years. The Hitachi 3 door refrigerator stopped. A small IC has blown out due to voltage fluctuation as per hitachi mechanic, for which entire mother board needs to be changed costing Rs 8000. My concern is that if voltage outage happened, why fuse did not go off which is safe and IC chip has blown. And the small chip cannot be replaced as per Company policy. This is simply a trap by company which needs to be brought to justice.

          I purchased hitachi refrigerator from Kohinoor mira road branch and the product was defective they replaced the product but its the same i guess the product has some problem of not cooling enough post the replacement ive been calling kohinoor to check no one is bothered they not answering my calls.

            I purchased window Hitachi window AC which was installed by Hitachi.
            Later I felt that the AC is not cooling well and I made a complaint. Technician came and checked. He stated that that cooling is well but when I said him to check the room temperature he which was not cool. He did not say about that. Also he noted the current of AC which was 6.4 against rated 7.9 A. he said he will check further. But he closed the complaint.
            Later again I observed LC indication on panel. My child was playing with the remote a bit before. I though by mistake it was locked. I further lodged complaint ([protected]) about this. The technician came and tried to reset the unit for 45 minutes but he failed. He further said the program is locked and it is beyond capacity of a child to lock this. The unit was deliberately locked by me. He will charge Rs 500 to unlock it. It is noteworthy that on first day I tried to set password for unit as per user manual but I failed.
            I made my further submission to customer care and requested that any technical person should answer
            1. Why Hitachi has made program code access so simple that any one whether an adult or child can access it (program access code is not accessible to general public). Has Hitachi any agenda to trap customers to lock the unit by mistake and make money by charging?
            2. Even if the unit is locked by mistake, why Hitachi not provided any interface for adult customer to reset by own. The only mean left is to call technician and that is chargeable.

            The response of service center and technician is pathetic. They do not try to understand problem and answer frivolously. Customer has right to get answer whether it is technical or anything else. These people works with agenda to make fool of customers. Even they do not provide receipt of payment which is a right of customers.

              I have Hitachi split Ac for which i filled a complaint of no cooling through c customer care number on 3rd of april the company claimed that my issue will be resolved within 48 hours but after repeated reminders finally on 28th april the technicians came they said there is a problem of gas leakage they did some cleaning of the unit and said e have filled the gas and charged Rs. 3250 for that though still there was no cooling they said gas will take time to expand hence cooling will start after 2 hours. though till date the problem persist . and inspite of repeated complaints, reminders and mails to the management of the company no body is listening and ready to correct the problem.kindly help me to resolve the issue

                We have Hitachi inverted split a/c. We have did AMC from 8/8/16 til 7/8/17.
                TCR no. 39518.

                Since April 2017 we have cooling problem with a/c.

                Req no. 1) [protected] was attended on 6/4/17.
                Req no 2) [protected] for same issue was done on 10/4/17. technician told will send senior to attend.
                Req no 3) [protected] for same issue was done on 19/4/17. technician told will send senior to attend.
                Req no 4) [protected] for same issue was cancelled from service center without attending dated on 3/5/17.
                Req no 5) [protected] for same issue was launch on 4/5/17.
                reminder for req no 5 was set on 10/5/17 but till dated nobody had attended within 24 hours. And again when we call service center today they told we will again set reminder on higher priority.

                One more req no [protected] set on 14/05/17 from call center on higher priority but till dated nobody had attended. Are Hitachi technicians so busy that they cannot attend service request which are sets?
                Pls let me know exact date and time; also are they going to attend it or not.

                  Dear sir

                  I have purchase 2 qty of hitachi split ac 1.5 ton (From new berco electronic uttam nagar new delhi) which is not working for last one week. We have lodged the complaint many time but my problem is not resolve. Every time your engineers is visit but he says your ac is working. We are facing lot of problem as it is really hot in delhi and very difficult for kids to stay without ac. Hitachi is a renowned name in the market and this kind of negligence and poor service quality is not expected from such a big brand like hitachi. They are only concentrating on their sales targets and not giving customer satisfactory services.

                  And today your engineer is visit at my home he says your compressor is not working. How is it possible, i have purchase only three months?

                  I have requested you please change my ac as soon as possible.

                    Sir,
                    I have purchased Hitachi split ac on dated 28/04/2013 from malhotra electronics jacobpura gurgaon. But it is not working properly since the date of purchase and totally defective piece, which Hitachi engineers could not repair. So much water is coming out inside the room and their engineers were failed to resolved this problem. I am calling them and paying on each and every time but Hitachi engineers are unable to resolve the problem. Their engineer broken my room wall and spoiled full wall. They refused to repair it and could not resolve the problem till today. I explained to Hitachi customer care executives several times by phone, but they could not help me to resolve the problem. Hitachi has given so much financial, emotional, physical and mental stress. Now I want to replace my split ac and get a new split ac from Hitachi soon. Kindly look into the matter and solve it a.S.A.P and oblige.

                      As a customer, I rate Hitachi customer service just 1 (on a scale of 1 to 10). This is because there still exist a few honest executives in their employ; otherwise, Hitachi-India operations would have closed down long ago. Please take this feedback seriously and I will explain below my reasons to prove my point.

                      My top end model RAU019CVEA Split 1.5 ton Hitachi Kashikoi 400I Inverter R410A air conditioner purchased in June 2015 needed service and gas refill. I lodged my request with customer care[protected] at 11:45 AM on May 4, 2017 and their standard reply was “someone would come within 24 hours.” Due to the current heat wave, I requested an earlier action. However, it is over 96 hours now and there is not a single soul who has attended this case till date.
                      Please note very carefully the whole sequence of events from the time I lodged my request with customer care.
                       4th May 2017:- I called the local service center (head office) in Bowenpally and spoke with their Service In-charge, Mr. Kiran @[protected] and was made to understand that the Bowenpally service centre does not take care of AC service any longer and I would need to touch base with the Malkajgiri service centre
                       After a lot of effort and several phone calls to customer care number, I finally managed to get some contact number of the Malkajgiri service centre
                       I then contacted the Malkajgiri service center @ +[protected] where only one Telugu speaking lady receives the calls stating that she cannot speak English or Hindi (this is ridiculous!) and disconnected my call abruptly 3 times. Again after a lot of effort I managed to get the Service Incharge, Shaikh Mansoor’s mobile number (+[protected]
                       Upon calling Mr. Mansoor quoting the request number, he ridiculed stating that the ticket was logged just today and the turn-around time is 48 hours. When I differed on that, he mentioned that the maximum TAT is 48 hours and that the case would be attended to before that time period itself and they promised to send someone soon
                       5th May 2017:- I followed up with Mr Mansoor the following day and he just had one technician (Karthik @ +[protected] call me for the sake of it and when I mentioned that I have an inverter AC which would require R410A gas, he mentioned that he only carries R22A gas with him and for the compatible gas he would go back to the service centre and bring the required tools along with the gas, but he did not turn up
                       When I got back to Mr Mansoor he mentioned that the technicians who are outdoor are not carrying the required gas for top-up and he was trying to contact their so-called Service In-charge, Mr Kiran, from Bowenpally (head office) service centre so that he could send someone form there and promised me that he would have this resolved by end of day and when that did not happen he conveniently chose to ignore my phone calls
                       Rest of the day my calls to both Kiran (I got to speak with Kiran only the first time when I called him on 4th and after that he may have blocked my numbers to avoid me) and Mansoor were unanswered and not returned too
                       Surprisingly I received a call from another technician (Sai @ [protected]) who said he has left from Bowenpally service centre following instructions from Kiran and he too was not equipped to solve for my inverter AC when I spoke with him and he hung up on me like the rest of the folks and did not turn up till now. A food for thought… the previous day I was told by Kiran that the Bownenpally service centre does not manage AC service / repairs (just to pass the buck around I suppose), and then Mansoor tells me that he would need to contact Kiran and have him send one of his technicians to fix my AC…
                       6th May 2017:- Still no response from Hitachi and my calls to everyone concerned were unanswered. Irresponsibly none of them even bothered to return my calls. I also sent them text messages, but still in vain
                       At around 01:30 PM (50 hours from the time the call was logged) I again called back customer care and had to argue with one executive Mr. Mayank (who was even refusing the accept that the 48 hours TAT was exceeded) for more than 15 minutes to make him transfer the call to his supervisor (he was refusing to even transfer the call to the next level until I scolded him)
                       I then spoke with the supervisor, Mahesh, when the call was escalated to him around 01.45 PM and narrated the entire incident to him. From the entire series of events until now, Mahesh seemed to be the only sensible person around and he then conferenced the call with Kiran who promptly answered Mahesh’s call. When I asked him why he was avoiding my calls the last 3 days he started off with a lame excuse stating he was unwell and couldn’t take my calls. Whereas he was on duty giving instructions to his team on all the service / repair cases. I was obviously very upset by this time due to the unprofessionalism displayed by their employees and that displayed in my tone. But instead of being apologetic, Mr Kiran started getting defensive and was very rude on the conference call too. If required, I can share with you this complete conference conversation recording, and you can judge for yourself the kind of behavior displayed by Mr Kiran and Mr Mansoor !!!
                       At this point I finally told them that I rest my case here and will take this matter up with the appropriate forum for action (Consumer forum and Social media)

                      Apart from all this there has been one major issue with the AC’s remote control since DAY 1 that has not been fixed till date. This seems to be a manufacturing defect and the same was admitted by their technicians who had visited the first time to attend to this complaint way back in 2015 and also mentioned that there are other unhappy customers too who have been facing the same issue with this model AC.
                      It may be of interest to you that the showroom incharge from where this was purchased had strongly suggested us to go for Samsung instead, as it was lesser in price and provided much better after-sales support, but unfortunately I went against their advice and settled for Hitachi for which I had to wait for close to a month for delivery as the so-called top-end best model that I selected was not available in any of the stores and had to be shipped separately for me…JUST BECAUSE I THOUGHT THAT HITACHI WAS NO.1 BRAND IN AIR CONDITIONERS !!!

                      A copy of this email has also been sent to the Hitachi to bring this to the attention of their parent organization about the on-goings and awful after-sales support form Johnson Hitachi in India yesterday, however there has been no response from their management yet.

                      AC gas has been filled after numerous follow-ups and escalations with you customer care, however the remote has not been fixed yet. I have received a defective remote and since then your service managers have been closing the complain and asking me to wait patiently as this is a known issue / manufacturing defect with this model and that the parent company Hitachi would release a compatible remote. They asked me not to raise a complain again and that they would themselves contact me as soon as the new remote is available, which evidently did not happen!

                      After logging this consumer complain when I followed up with the current service managers (both, Bowenpally and Malkajgiri workshops) they are now telling me that this would be a paid service as the warranty has expired now and that I would need to pay to get a new remote to which there is no guarantee that the remote would perform as expected this time! Why should I be paying for a fault in your manufacturing and due to the expiry of the warranty due to delays / no action from your staff towards my complain (apart from just closing any complain promptly... (irrespective of whether the issue is resolved)... ???

                        I am facing worst experience with their service. I requested a service for ac on 18 of April with request no [protected] and yet it's still not working. Their engineer are fake engineers. The person who visited our house name SALMAN QURESHI was such a rude person and had tried to make money from us. First day when he came, he filled the gas in such a way that It got leaked within an hour. The second time when he came he said there is a leakage on the outer part and charged us with 1500 bucks only for taking the outer to it's office for repair. Which we later got to know that his office is just 2 km away from our house. We still agreed and told him to repair it.what he done was so ridiculous and cheap. He only repaired it temporarily and filled half the gas. Which again got leaked within 24 hour. And when again I tried to call him he misbehaved with me and asked for 500 bucks to visit.
                        I am feeling so disappointed about it's service. Today again I registered complaint..it's 6th time for me to complaint under one service request. I will never go with Hitachi again in my future and will not recommend it. For me it's zero out of five rating.

In February same happened and I called your service person and charged 500 to unlock. Again Hitachi customer care asking to call service personnel and to pay 500 to unlock. So fix this remote lock problem, we can't pay repeatedly for same problem.

                            We have booked AMC for our Hitachi KAZE Plus windows AC on 21-Apr-17 with service agency "RELIABLE CARE, 26/1, KHUREJI KHAS, DELHI - 110051" and provided cheque no. 000027 of INR 2, 651/- drawn on HDFC Bank dated 21-Apr-17 and receipt clearly shows "AMC DONE" with "AMC start date as 21-Apr-17" and "AMC End date as 20-Apr-18" but even after a lapse of two weeks there was no formal communication was received from the "RELIABLE CARE" (service centre) or from HITACHI. In the mean time there developed some problem of "LOW COOLING" and when complaint was lodged with HITACHI service on "Hitachi Service APP" the service centre person refused to entertain us saying that "It is a faulty AC and we do not do AMC of faulty AC which they has already checked at the time of AMC booking. They have also told us that it would be rectified after one month of issue of AMC.

                            This is very embarrassing on the part of service technician of "HITACHI" when after AMC is done - we are not getting service from "HITACHI".
                            I am not going to buy any product of "HITACHI" in future - for which we do not get proper service. Product may be good but service is "WORST".
                            People "DO NOT BUY HITACHI PRODUCTS".

                              Dear Sir / Madam

                              I had purchased a HITACHI 1.2 TON SPLIT AC from Khosla Electronics, Kolkata on June, 2016. Subsequent to the purchase the installation team came and installed the AC very badly and also not in compliance with the installation requisites mentioned in the installation manual. thereafter, we called the installation team once again and after lot of arguments could at last convince them about the non compliance of the installation, as well as show them the manual for further obedience. After which the team re-installed the AC as per the standards, without charging anything extra for the same.

                              Since then, I have made several requests for the demo and also for the free servicing of the AC within the time span of 1 year. But no one came for the same. Please note, since my husband and myself, both being working professionals we could only be available on Saturdays and Sundays. However, its been a year and we have still never had a single servicing done for the AC.

                              Please note, we were under the impression that HITACHI is the best brand for AC's, and hence we chose the said brand. However, our first impression with HITACHI is so bad that we would never ever think of buying a HITACHI product again and would advice others also against this. in fact we recently bought another 1.5 ton split AC of RELIANCE RECONNECT and are very satisfied with their after sales service and consumer support.

                              Nevertheless, since in the month of June 2017, my 1 year of free servicing will end, i would request you to ensure the servicing of my AC ASAP.

                                At the outset, I would like to give a frank opinion to whosoever wants to buy any Hitachi product in India. It is with a big "NO". Never ever buy any Hitachi product. It is such an inferior product, possibly selling in India only on their attractive ads. No quality, no after sales service, nobody bothers on any complaint, arrogant attitude of service centre people - what else you want to decide on this 'no no' for any Hitachi product. After all, it is your hard earned money that will be washed away by buying any Hitachi product.

                                In my case, I bought a high fancy (by looks:(- ) Hitachi refrigerator - a 3 door one by paying around Rs.70000/- from Vijay Sales Noida. After 3 odd months o[censored]se, it went on strike (literally) and stopped working. In fact, the technician, who attended the case after much follow up, told me that it was due to the gas leakage. I could only hear it with much surprise of a Global brand like Hitachi. Then again, it stopped working and I am at the receiving end that nobody is bothered to attend my calls or solve the issue. Somebody at their after sales service vaguely told me that it might be due to circuit board mal-functioning and that I may have to wait a couple of weeks as the part will be coming from Thailand. Nothing more to explain here, but hope, if it is an eye-opener for the prospective buyers of any Hitachi products in India - dont got by their catchy advertisements, but look at the quality and more importantly, about the after sales service.

                                  Purchased this inverter ac on 7/6/2016 from abhi marketing, bareilly. 5th complaint with breakdown request no. Dear customer your breakdown req. [protected]. And already of last 11 months o[censored]sage atleast 25 days it's out o[censored]se due to ac not working. I requested local service as well as company by email to give final reply. Present complaint was registered on 22/4/17 with local dealer and online on 25/4/17, no clear answer to why it's giving repeated breakdown. I asked them to replace ac with a current model urgently. What is the use of such a product which after spending 50000 rupees and tolerating summer weather? Kindly ask hitachi to replace the piece urgently with a current model.

                                    Hi my ac was working fine before wet service performed by khalsa refrigeration vashi navi mumbai. Hitachi takes money from us to promise better service however they transfer all these requests to other company which are not bothered about customers. Prior to the wet service my ac was running smooth and fine however post servicing my ac has not started and now it is showing msg as e9 wgich means motor faluire now khalsa refrigeration is demanding money to repair this. Kindly note that this is a serious offence from hitachi as they are not paying any heed to their esteemed consumers after my escalation to their top 3 management guys. Vishal marar. Satish nair and rajesh nagar however no one is bothered to call back and listen my request. I am mentally harrased and no option to file a consumer protection case against hitachi and khalsa refrigeration.
