I had purchased a hitachi ac inverter 1.5 ton kasikoi5400irsa518caea on 24april2017 in emi scheme financed from bajaj finance from raj electronics bhubaneswar. After purchasing i was informed about instalation charges. Which should have been informed before i could makeup my mind. At last it was agreed for me paying rs800/- more thereafter it was installed on 25april, but was not cooling. Then again in the evening same people came but couldnot satisfactory explain its function. On insistence about their identity, they disclosed that they were hired peoples. I requested them to go and send authorised mechanic. Again on 26 april in the evening on repeated calls one mechanic from hitachi came and checked. He informed about compressor cutting off so had to check. He opened both indoor and outdoor component. Seeing this i asked why he has to open further pcbs of a new set. He said that cooling has restored but the cause of tripping is to be investigated as their is some problem in the functions. I refused further opening rather i asked to replace the set. The vendor and the technician agreed but again on 28 april they came and said that the set is working and problem with our supply. I explained them about another ac working in the other side room which is 10 years old samsung 5 star ac. Moreover i had also checked from an electrician who said both stabiliser and supply is perfect. Same when informed to the hitachi persons they said i have to wait for seven days to change it. What about my customer rights as i have paid the price they should provide a serviceable new set immediately.

The new AC is installed on 15 may. But following new complaint has arisen
1 .Water is leaking inside the room
2.The hole is not covered with the cement being provided to the technician as they refused siting darkness but
did not turnup.
3. AC not cooling during peek summer, 2pm. New AC not cooling but old one(Samsung AC )working
4. Non cooperation by your staff as every time I have to raise the level of complaint

    I am filing this complaint for the second time against the service center and the coordinator of hittachi company of jaipur for not responding inspit of calling and complaining them sooo many times. I purchased a 4 door refrigerator worth more then a lac in september 2015. The door lock broke last month... We are waiting for that part but d coordinator mr akash says that they can't provide us that perticular part as they haven't received such requirement of that part. And now he just simply doesn't receive our call. It's as simple for them... I am really can't find the way out... Ice formation in veggies compartment, less cooling effeciency are all other secondary problems we are facing now. Please guide is the way out.

      I bought a split ac less than two years.in less than one yr it's external unit fan broke down. It was reluctantly replaced by the company rep. However again on 16 apr 17 the external unit of ac started making abnormal sound.. I lodged a complaint and a rep paid a visit on 17 apr 17. He initially told me that the fan motor was defective and it will need to be replaced. On our further probing he said that the fan had broken down from the shaft hole and it will have to be replaced. He took rs 600 advance and went off. After that there was no response from the company for 5 days. After that i called up the call center and they said that it would be replaced by 24.. When no body turned up on 24 i called the call center.. This guy told me that my complaint had been closed due to 'customer not found'. I got really peeved and told this guy to escalate. After holding on the line for 20 min one mr mahesh spoke to me apologizing for the delay and he assured me that the fan would be replaced by tmrw. On 25 apr the same story has repeated itself... I don't understand that a company like hitachi hasn't made any efforts to ensure that the requisite spare parts are readily available. I feel that their quality standards are different for india. A fan breaking down in less than a year and again in the beginning of a new season. I think company is taking customers for granted coz our consumer laws are lax and cases are time consuming. Nevertheless it makes a fit case for consumer forum. The accountability of proper after sales service has to be fixed.. Some body has to take charge of the affairs.. Company cannot keep making money at will..

        We have complained for non working ac on april 22, 2017. It has been 3 days and we have had no response from hitachi. Previously too we had complained and our complain went unanswered.

        Dear sir,

        We had purchased 4 split ac s from you last year.

        We renewed and took amc for all four ac s this year.

        Despite repeated reminders regarding breakdown of one of our aircons we still have an unanswered call and the ac is not in working condition.

        All we are told it will be attended within 48 hours by a call centre.

        Neither do we know who will attend the call and who will come to our residence to sort this issue.

        Kindly take this matter up at the earliest and designate some person or a number which we can call so that these issues are all sorted out at the earliest.

          Hi Team,

          My experience is going bad day by day with my first Hitachi equipment Inverter AC bought in Aug 2015.
          This equipment took 20 days for installation. At that time many parts were damaged and replaced. Even few were not even installed.
          First season it was ok but starting of new season April2016 it again stopped working. We got to know due to a missing part the squirrel has damaged the wires. We got that sorted out and took an AMC of approx 7000 Rs.
          This season I got the AC serviced in March 2017. When we tried to use the AC it was again not working.
          I got the complaint locked and got to know that this was a PCB issues. Your people took 4 days to arrange that and finally when they came know that the PCB is ok and the same missing part was not installed properly so the squirrel damaged the wires again.
          Issue was resolved on 15th April and again AC stopped working on 20th April.
          Since then I have made 200+ calls to your different local Hitachi contacts. No one helped, stopped taking up the call or switched off their phone.
          One engg finally visited our place and dismantled the inner and outer parts and left it like that saying that he will come on Sunday morning. He and his supervisor have vanished since then.
          We are left helpless after spending so much of money and will make sure no one in known is buying Hitachi things.

            I have purchased hitachi 4 star ac from shakti electronics ahmedabad vide bill no.43416 dtd.[protected] which was installed on[protected].
            Sir i have complaint regarding cooling from very first day. I have never satisfied till today.
            After installation i am not satisfied for cooling i have made complaint, then after your service center person mr. Uvesh (M) [protected] come at site and without doing any technical work said that your machine is working in good condition and cooling is proper.
            I have made complaint on[protected] at 10.05 pm. My complaint no. Is [protected].
            On[protected] i have received call from mr. Uvesh that he is coming for solution of my problem. He has just check gas pressure and said that every thing is ok. I am not satisfied with his reply and said that call your higher authority and i would like to talk with him. Then after he has given me number of mr. Hirenbhai ([protected]) and i complaint him that i am suffering problem of cooling and bed smell. He has given me reply that sir i am the owner of service centre and i sent another person for taking room temperature, grill temperature etc. On[protected] i have received call on 4 pm by mr. Ketanbhai that he want to come visit at site for taking temperature. At 4.30 he came and take temperature. I have given my reply on his worksheet that i am not satisfied with machine and i am not getting cooling. Also he has mentioned problem of bed smell in his worksheet. However i have received message on 6.21 pm on[protected] without solution of my problem that my complaint is closed. Then after i called on[protected] and mr. Dipesh attending my phone i gave him all information related my problem and he is surprised that without giving cdn by me hoe they closed complaint. I again lodged compliant and received new number [protected]. Today means on[protected] at 10.59 am i have received message that my complaint is closed. I am surprised about hitachi service centre how they closed complaint without attending any one at site.
            My complaint is that i am not getting proper cooling, bed smell while starting and when cut off, your service centre person are not properly attending issue.
            I want resolution of my problem at earliest otherwise i would like to make suit against hiatchi in consumer protection court.

              I bought a Hitachi split ac in July 2016 and the first service request I placed few months back and I was assured that my request would be attended by Hitachi technician within 48 hours but it was completed after 1 week and the technician only cleaned the filter and went back whereas I told him to check and clean full AC but he did not care and went. Again I placed the Service request almost 2 weeks back vide No- [protected] and requested Hitachi customer service that AC is smelling bad and from outdoor & indoor unit water was dipping out, again the same reply came from Hitachi customer care executive that it will be attended within 48 hours and they sent me an sms also but after waiting for 1 week, no one came to attend the service request for the AC so I called again to customer care to complain that 1 week has passed but no one came to repair the ac and again they assured me that it will be attended that day only but now almost 2 weeks has passed but none of the Hitachi service technician came for the service but earlier I got a message that my service request was completed with my service no on it, whereas till date no service was given by service centre.

              So I called again at Hitachi customer care to file complaint against the person who did not came but finished my service request from sitting in his shop. Then again the customer care person generated a new service request vide No. [protected] dated 18-04-17, bit till date it has also not been attented. This is really an unbearable and irresponsible act from their end. At last I want to complaint against that person who did not showed up for servicing and from his side gave the wrong message to Hitachi that my request was attended and also I want to complaint against Hitachi service executive/in-charge who from 2 weeks have not completed my service request which caused me lot of trouble mentally and physically and the purpose for purchasing AC still stand unfulfilled. I think, these people are still waiting for some mishappening to happen due to that water dipping or just passing time to surpass the warranty period for your company’s benefit. Since the date of initiating the request we haven't been using the AC. In my view and based on till date experience, it is quite clear that Hitachi give this type of service during the warranty period and hope so that Hitachi must be quite prompt after the expiry of the warranty period. One more thing I would like to point at is when asked for Hitachi service executive/in-charge contact details the customer care executive has provided me with a mobile number-[protected] which doesn't exist. And also the email Ids provided at there website are invalid.

                I also have same issue, I bought AC last year, just 5 days after 1 years warranty completion, pcb got fault, hitachi service person is asking to replace it, and costing 3500 for pcb, please suggest can I ask for service from local vendor, as I read people are complaining pcb gets faulty frequently, I have done a bad choice of purchasing hitachi AC.

                  My split A C was faulty on 13 april and i lodge the complaint on same day. The complaint no. is [protected]. But no one attended my complaint then i again lodge complaint on 16 april 2017, complaint no is [protected] . i lodge reminder daily on[protected] this mobile number of hitachi serviceman but no body attended the complaint . Due to this I & my family facing a lot of problem of HOT WEATHER . Now from today my phone call not attended by customer care executive. I think, I am wrong to buy a Hitachi product. If my complaint is not attended then I think for Consumer Court.i will file a court case on hitachi for sure

                    We purchased a/c brand - hitachi. Model no - rau518avd. Capacity-1.5 t., from vijay sales chandkheda, ahmedabad on[protected]

                    The installation has been done by the hitachi itself on dt[protected] very odd timing 9:30 pm, but we faced some water leakage issue with the a/c due to improper installation. We informed to hitachi many times but we got very poor response from their side then we informed vijay sales chandkheda again they came in action after 2-3 days of complaint for which we faced lots of trouble and that water leakage damaged our wooden flooring completely.

                    Mean while they came up with their junior technician but he could not able to fix the problem and again we asked them to come up with some experienced senior technician. So, they finally sent a senior technician for which we have to request them various time. And both the parties (Hitachi and vijay sales chandkheda) secured us several time that if there is any technical issues arise in near future they will replace the product.

                    After fixation of water leakage problem within 2-3 day we experienced a new issue with the a/c which is completely cooling related issue, we were not getting proper cooling so we again informed for almost 35 times to mr ashish (Senior technician) not even pick our phone call and then we registered our complain on hitachi website by req no. [protected] they sent a technician who told us that it’s a gas leakage and earthing problem. And on the same day we visited vijay sales chandkheda and convey our entire problem to them and we remind them about the assurance they gave previously to replace the product, and they people very much agreed on that day. But on the next day they changed their statement and told us to repair it again but we don’t want to go for it.

                    Now we are very much done with your product so you (Hitachi) guys can take your product back. And we have decided to go with consumer court and this time the vijay sales chandkheda has assured us that they will going to support us promised by mr. Chintan vijay sales

                    I registered a request for servicing of my window AC, while servicing, technician put water in PCB and it got damaged and he ask me share the cost of new PCB, which i denied and then he ran without even taking service charge and my AC is not working now.

                      ! We recently bought a hitachi window a/c 1.5 ton rat518hud to be specific we bought it on 7th april 2017. We got it installed on 16th april 2017 (Sunday). Right after the installation the a/c was not working properly. We called to customer care they sent a technician. Technician said that one of a part of a/c has to be replaced as its defective. We asked to replace our a/c as its defective by default but the technician gave us a fantastic reply as he said to replace it you have to talk to hitachi company. We called customer care again and lodged a complaint and they said one of our another technician would come and recheck the defect. We spent 35k bucks and all went in vain. Horrible experience with hitachi. I would never recommend hitachi to anyone of the person in my concern. Please help

                        I had bought 3 nos rav518erd window airconditioners in aug 2011.
                        One of the units displayed e9 error message recently and i registered a service call with hitachi service center.

                        Their engineer diagnosed the problem as defective dc motor which required replacement. Their estimate for the part and service was rs 10, 500!!!

                        I am shocked at the extortionate charges that hitachi levies for their after sales service, which on top of the premium pricing for their products, makes the cost of ownership very high.

                        All oems must be compelled to sell and stock their parts at their authorized dealers so that a consumer has a choice and does not have to rely only on the manufacturer for parts and service.

                        My advice to potential buyers of hitachi products - think twice!

                          I have purchased Hitachi refrigerator- freezer R w 720fpnd1x which has 4 doors in September '15. Last month on 24th of March 2017 the locking system of one of the door broke. Same day we registered a complain regarding the same. Engineer visited after 3 days told us that it need be replace but on chargeable bases as it's not covered in warranty. We agreed to him. But since then after reminding every day we are getting messages like your work is been done and it got cancelled due to denial of payment etc. But that's not the case.                             I had bought 2 Hitachi AC (1.2 & 1.5 ton) from Tata Croma, Bangalore on 5th April 2016. Initially both damaged pieces were delivered. Then after so much arguments they replaced both the ACs. After that, issues started with both the AC. One AC gets started automatically & other AC doesn't work with remote. I filed more than 50 complaints in last one year & called-up customer care more than 200 times. Every time I got response that "ticket has been raised & it will be sorted out.". Many times tickets was closed without even calling me. Some times, tickets were closed saying that "customer was not reachable". It never happened that my phone was not reachable. When I raised complaints again & again the they sent one executive to my home & every time they asked like that "Is it in warranty?". I used to reply yes then as per their protocol they used to call their boss & said that other executive will come & fix the issue & it is keep on going till date. I never come across such "PATHETIC CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE LIKE HITACHI". They are "WORST". Seems customer care has been trained "NOT TO RESOLVE THE ISSUES". I won't hesitate to say that "HITACHI COMPANY IS A GROUP OF FRAUDS". If my issue doesn't resolve within week time then I will damage all Hitachi ACs by visiting same TATA CROMA showroom from where I bough it.

                              I have logged a complain no [protected] on 24 th march 2017 as my hitachi inverter ac is not cooling. Since then, it has been 21 days that my ac problem has not been resolved even after repeated follow up with call centre and sec 65 noida hitachi aervice centre.
                              Please note that i have amc contract for my ac

                              After repeated follow up, someone from sec 65 noida service centre turned up on 10 th april and after inspection, informed me that spare parts need to replaced.
                              Spoken to mr anil of sec 65 who informed me that spare parts are not available and will be delivered from other location.. Since then, i am waiting for the miracle to happen.

                              Is it the level of service that i expect from such a reputed brand hitachi..
                              Doe any one act here to take a stock o why a complain has not been addressed even after such a long duration,
                              Or, is it complex process breakdown and management is not bothered on customer satisfaction at all.

                              It appears that i am made to understand hitachi that i did a mistake buying hitachi products and also trusting the company by taking the amc service contact..

                              I am still hoping that good sense will prevail and someone will act to save the brand reputation.

After purchasing the ac is not functioning properly for which i am raising complain more than 20 times the engineer comming and every time replaceing one one part and in last month the engineer replaced all the pcb and remote and told if the problem remains then you contact with the company because there is nothing to replace more.                                 The Ac Which I have purchased from bharat Electronics, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, on 22.4.2016 is having some manufacturing defects because I have made several complains regarding the A C, the service engineer visited for the same more than 20 times but the problem remain the same as it is. the service engineer taking the plea of this time it will work perfectly, I have changed all the defects but unfortunately it repeats the same for more than 10 times, so i have no patient to repair the same and I want to replace the same.

                                    Complaint for service/defect in window ac was lodged on the customer support no. [protected] and the complaint no. was allotted as [protected] dated 30.03.2017. The same was not attended till date inspite of many verbal communication on customer no. dated 04/04/2017 and 11/04/2017 and after lapse of 12 days. It is also pertinent to mention that my window ac is under warranty of 1 year and the company is committed for 3 free services in the warranty period as per the company policy. But till date not even the single service of my AC has been done by the company. My warranty period is about to expire in May, 2017. Hence, please do the needful at the earliest.

                                      I bought Hitachi 1.5 Ton Split AC in 2015.It works fine in the first year and from the second year we faced the cooling issues. At that time we reported the problem to customer care people and they resolved the issue temporerly by collecting 3000 rupees for filling gas and visiting charges. After 4 days again the smae problem started and we tried our best to reach out your customer care but no response .Finally i got frustrated and stopped rea out your guys.
                                      On 28th March 2017 we registered a complaint regarding the AC is not cooling with the above SR #:[protected]. On the next day morning at 10:00 AM(29th Mar) I got a call from one of your executive and he told that he will be coming around 12:00 PM but he didn’t come on that day. On 30th Mar I call back the same executive and I got the response like he got the work assignment from the different area as per the management and someone else is looking the complaints registered from my location. I tried to reach out your customer care number[protected] but no response from your end.
                                      I didn’t get any update on the above request so far and how long do we need to wait to get fix this issue.

                                      We are facing this issue since last one year .After requesting many time one executive came and collected 500/Rs for visiting charges and told that due to low GAS the room is not getting cooled and filled the gas collected around 1200 rupees extra. After 3 days again we face the same problem the room is not getting cooled and we tried to reach you out many times and every time we got answer all our technician are busy and we will resolve your issue soon. We got frustrated and stopped reaching you out.

                                      We will not worry about the money you are collecting, requesting you please provide the genuine service for the collected money.

                                      Till today i am calling the customer care people everyday and i am getting the standard answer we will follow_up our local technicians they will resolve the issue soon.

                                        I booked for a Hitachi refrigerator with model number- WB550PND2(510 ltr) on 29th March from Ezone, Bhawanipur, Kolkata and they have told that it will be delivered by 4th April but till today, 11th March the product has not yet been delivered.
                                        Is this a professional conduct that Hitachi gives where there is no commitment. I claim compensation for the same as I don't yet have the confirmation when ultimately the product will get delivered.
                                        Please look into the issue as I am also going to escalate this to higher level.
