Hi Team,
I am complaining here after a long patience. My Hitachi ac is not working. The call number was registered on 19th July 2021, technician came on 20th July and found that PCB is not working. He informed the company and the call no was updated as part pending.
It is still in pending status after approx. one and half month as the part didn't reach. I didn't expect this much of negligence from a renowned company, like Hitachi.
When I called Hitachi customer care, everytime they registered a new request and told that it will be done ASAP. Do they know what is meant by ASAP?
I don't know why Hitachi is not working on this issue seriously, you are not providing service to your customer as you are expected to do. You are loosing trust from your customer.

I am requesting consumercomplaint to look on this matter.

And my call request is in progress since 20th July 2021. This is not my fault, this is totally Hitachi's fault that they didn't resolve the issue yet. So I am expecting an extended warranty from Hitachi for the time you are taking to resolve the issue.

    Complaint number - [protected]. Service staff have been spinning lies and extorting money on the behest of repairing my fridge. At first, only a particular part of the 3 door fridge wasn't working. And now, after duping my old parents into paying 3500, the whole fridge is not working and they are not picking calls or sending a repairman. It has just been rotting since the past 30 days. Escalated this complaint to level 1, level 2 and level 3 with still no response. Made multiple calls and dropped emails but nobody is ready to take responsibility. Pls assign an agent to this special issue as it is a case of FRAUD and not merely bad service.

      Sir, Your Service Center technicians DAMAGED the AC Horizontal and Vertical flaps, all indicator lamps and indoor unit's body us damaged. Facing water dripping issue since beginning. SERVICE CENTER HAS ASSURED ME FOR ALL FREE REPLACEMENT BY THE COMPANY DUE TO MANUFACTURING DEFECT ON 3RD AUGUST 2021. I have e-mailed and raised complaints on all platforms by Your Esteem Company. Some escalation was already made on level 1, 2&3. Summary of request is mentioned below. With Complaint No: [protected] Reference No: AE4DABD17E0 And Complaint No : [protected] Reference No : [protected]CB A very unprofessional approach to Customers by Customer Care team. Please, anybody can tell me, why my prior complaint was closed without any work done and without my consent and created a new service call on 17th Aug 2021. I was told on 3rd Aug 2021 that the spare parts have been ordered to Company for Free Replacement due to Manufacturing Defect and rectify the problem. But since than Nobody is responding and taking care of it. I also called to Customer Care Number many times. How much more time will it take for resolving the problem. Can I hope my Airconditioner will start operating fine till coming Winters ? Waiting for Your Comments.

        My AC got repaired and technician from Hitachi came to my home on Aug 6th and mentioned that PC board is fault and needs o be claimed under warranty for which he took 500 service charge and also raised request for the replacement part under warranty. Till September 1 daily i have been, following up with the spare sales team and they are telling today it will arrive or tomorrow it will arrive, when i called today on September 1st they are again mentioning as it is still in transport and will arrive in 1 week.

        There is no proper escalation process in Hitachi website/customer cell.

        I want a proper response and need this to be resolved. Daily i am going through difficult times with out the Air Condition in chennai

        I have attached the details of technician and spare parts sales number, for refrence.

          DEAR SIR,

          I Anshdeep Singh Yadav feeling dejected while writing this mail to you about my family's stress because o[censored]r company's service ...

          Actually my father bought one Hitachi's Split Air Conditioner from near by shop of my house on 22nd March 2021 and that AC was not cooling that much as it is suppose to but my family thought may be the split ac cools that much only as we were using split ac the first time, earlier there was window AC of VOLTAS COMPANY and its cooling was best, after 2 or 2.5 months that AC stopped cooling completely so my family thought there might be some minor problem in my AC so

          I made a my FIRST COMPLAIN and the technician arrived on the next day and he checked it and said that the gas is full and there is problem in filter so he cleaned it and returned by saying that now ac will start cooling as usual but the next day the same problem occur so

          I made my SECOND COMPLAIN and the technician arrived and said that there is gas leakage problem so he will come tomorrow and fill the gas when he arrived second day he said that gas was perfect there is dust in coils so he cleaned the coils and returned but again on the same day at night the same problem occurs so again I made my THIRD COMPLAIN and now I also request the company to pls replace my ac because my family is again and again getting disturbed and during this pandemic of covid 19 my family has to enter different types of peoples (technicians) in my home so we can't allow them again and again so pls replace my ac but the person on the other side in call (customer care number) said it cannot be replaced and it will be repaired this time so another day I get a call from the technician and on the call he said that there is problem in my AC's Indoor Motor so it will be replaced by the new one, and this was said be him even without arriving in my home on the call, I don't know how but this is true so he continued and said that whenever spare parts will arrive to him he will come and replace it and now after 15 days he arrived, and how my family spend these 15 days without AC during hit weather nobody can imagine, so when he came after 15 days he came with motor and changed it and also he filled the gas this time I don't know why without checking any leakage he filled the gas, even gas was less so he filled it that's good but he should check the leakage first but he didn't and he returned so now my AC was cooling better, my family was happy but after 5-6 days the same problem occurs and now my family was too much stressed as after spending[protected] rupees we are not able to take any benefit of this amount so again

          I MADE MY FOURTH COMPLAIN TODAY ...

          It's a humble request to please replace my AC as soon as possible!

              I bought Hitachi 1.5 ton 3100S Inverter - r410A- RSM317HCEAW AC on 4th Feb 2021.
              I started using it in the month of April 2021 and within the 10 days o[censored]se, it stopped working. I registered the complaint and service person checked and replaced the PCB after 10 days of the 1st complaint for which I have to followed up with the customer service multiple times.
              Again after replacing the PCB, the new one also stopped working which needed to replaced again. in the month of June and again I had to wait for 10-15 days for the replacement. So, till now then PCB already replaced twice which was very frustrated and I raised this concern to the Hitachi Customer Service to replace the complete Unit as the Unit is faulty but not response I receive from them instead they just replaced the PCB 3rd time.

              Now, this year, day before yesterday AC stopped working again and flashing the green light 12 times.
              Technician told that PCB needs to be replace. So, this is again very much frustrated thing with this AC Unit and Hitachi should replace the Unit completely asap because its causing me to spent money every time for same part.

              Hi Team,
              I have to update the purchase date on my complaint as mistakenly typed the Year 2021 instead of 2020. Below is my updated complaint.
              I bought Hitachi 1.5 ton 3100S Inverter - R410A- RSM317HCEAW AC on 4th Feb 2020 and started using the it from mid of the Month May 2020. On 3rd of July, my AC stopped working. So, I made a complaint to Hitachi Service Center. Their technician came next day to check the AC and informed that the controller of the outer unit is not working so it needs to be changed, which they changed on 11th of July after multiple follow ups with the different person of Hitachi service Center.
              Again, on 18th July AC suddenly stopped cooling and have to register a complain but don't know how it started working again on next day.
              August 6th, 2020 AC stopped cooling again and this time the technician who visited last time to change the controller of outer unit came in, checked, and informed that again the controller is faulty and needs to be replaced. Within a month 2 controller stopped working! This was very frustrated thing happened at that moment. As my AC was under warranty they have replaced the outdoor unit controller (PCB).
              Somehow, AC managed to work for rest of the month.
              Now, on 21st of August 2021, AC stopped working suddenly and blinking the Green light 12 times on Indoor Unit. I registered the complaint to Hitachi and on Monday technician came to check the AC, after checking the AC Technician told me that the there is a problem in Outdoor unit Controller and it needs to be replace again which will cost me around 12K and took Rs 500 from me as a visiting charge and closed my ticket.
              Now, there is a question in my mind that last year I have replaced the controller twice without knowing the root cause behind the PCB vitiation. Again, in this season, problem is different but part that needs to be replace is same. How, I can be sure that, if I replaced the PCB by spending 12K, will not vitiated again.
              I am very much frustrated with this AC from the day I am using it, I am in trouble. I request you to kindly replace the complete AC UNIT ASAP.
              Because I don’t want to spend money in this problematic, worthless AC.

                  Dear sir/ mam,
                  I am prateek from dwarka . I want to put against a hitachi ac for non service which means from day we buy ac till today our complaints is not resolved umm basically when the hitachi service ac person come to house he didn’t work problem is water dripping and wrong installing of ac, , when we ask to repair it they didn’t work and ask for 1200 for reinstatement, , the company has done wrong installation why we pay money if we pay earlier so i like to ask soon fast resolved the complaint

                    I had bought refrigerator from Hitachi in May 2019, and immediately after delivery we noticed unexpected noise in its compressor. So I logged complain and their technician acknowledged the issue with compressor, but consoled us that it won't be a problem.
                    Now in July 2021 refrigerator's compressor stopped working and on logging complain, the technician said compressor replacement would be required.
                    Date of incident: 19-July-2021
                    Issue: after acknowledging compressor fault which is still under warranty, Hitachi is not updating any further information. I call them everyday but they don't have any information.
                    My complain number to Hitachi is :[protected]
                    I would urge them to fix the issue at the earliest. Also they are not giving any idea when they plan to fix it or if do not plan at all.
                    I have already escalated issue to their 3rd level but no update yet.

                    Also Hitachi customer care defies that I have logged any complain in 2019, although I have complain number and messages from Hitchi too.

                      I bought hitachi 1.5 ton split ac model no. Rsd317hbea on 01.03.2018. I have purchased this ac from reliance digital, phoenix mall, chennai. Since then i faced 3 times gas problem, copper coil leakage & outdoor fan issue. It costs me rs 20000/- till date. This hitachi product has irritated me a lot and i have to incur huge loss on its repair and maintenance. The company should change my unit, because the dealer is not paying any attention towards it .Now it is not working since yesterday . Recently i got the copper coil repaired and gas leakage in the month of may' 2021 and now i am having pcb and control board issue.                         Complaint number [protected] for REFRIGERATOR in New Delhi

                        3rd party came and said that there is a cooling coil leak. Not shown to us.

                        Later we got a call saying that in such a case, Hitachi asks us to change cooling coil, gas as well as compressor (total cost in excess of Rs 20, 000) and since it is out of warranty we will have to pay. They also said that they would either send a video or a person to show the leak.

                        Nothing has come and they have closed the complaint!

                          Purchased Hitachi 2ton ac on 23june2021, started from so many difficulties from technician. It again stopped working, made a complaint on 18July2021, technician visited and said main pcb is not working till date no action has been taken till now

                            I have purchased a Hitachi 1.5 ton AC on 16th feb 2021.With only 4 months of running it has a cooling issue.The service centre technician checked and said there is a leakage in coil and has taken away my AC indoor along with him.Even after 8 days of my complaint the AC unit has not been delivered to me.There is no proper contact from their side also .Every time i asked them about the complaint they kept on saying that the spare part is not available.I want that they should provide me a new indoor unit inspite of fixing the coil as it may have more defects in future.

                            No solution provided to me yet.They kept on ignoring the problem and not even attending the phone call.It has been more than 10 days of my complaint and still i have not received my indoor unit.They are setting up a very good example of one of the worst after sale services.

                              This is the worst decision I have made. I got there commercial unit installed in my restaurant and I havent slept one day in peace. Problems starting from first day. And I am crying for help to their service centre and they are saying service engineer would visit after three years. I am loosing business every hour and they said their service engineer would visit after three days.

                              If you are living peacefully and want to ruin your life get hitachi ac installed.

                                We had purchased a 1.5 Ton Inverter AC cost 57K in April 2016. Since the purchase it has been creating issues related to cooling, gas leak etc. Every time we have to complain and get it fixed Now since few weeks again we started facing cooling issues. We complained twice. The first service centre person came and told that the indoor PCB is not working and repaired it in 1 week. But still it was not working so we complained 2nd time. The 2nd service centre person came and told that the outdoor PCB is not working and it will cost 8.5K for replacement as my 5 year warranty has expired just 2 months back. After that I again checked with Hitachi customer care again and they informed that the PCB will not work without the motor being changed even though the motor is fine and now I have to pay 11K (8500+2500) for getting both replaced. I don't know what is the use of buying such costly AC from Hitachi when they don't even work properly for 5 years.

                                I am having 2 more ACs of Hitachi and I am now afraid that the same issue will be faced in them. I surely was not expecting such pethetic service from a brand like Hitachi.

                                I will never recommend anyone to purchase Hitachi air-conditioners.

                                  I bought this hitachi window air conditioner, Model- HItachi 1.5Ton 3 star Copper Kaze Plus RAW318HEDO (R-32) from tatacliq, seller (Great Eastern Retail Private Limited) on 04/07/21. It was installed yesterday( 08/07/21).

                                  Right after installation I complained to installation personnel about poor quality.

                                  Issues noted
                                  1. Poor quality or very low cooling.
                                  2. Lots of compressor noise.
                                  3. Poor electricity efficiency.
                                  4. Expected low compressor life.
                                  5. Smell of oil burning.
                                  6. Remote works and sometimes not.

                                  Issues in detail.
                                  1. Cooling. Size of my room is 130 sq feet. I had set AC to a 23-25 degrees target temperature.FAn speed set to 3. Outside temperature 39 degrees, room temperature before start of AC 31 degreesTemperature in the room is checked by both digital and analogue thermometers. Even after running the AC for 2 hours the temperature in the room drops to only 27/28 degree only not lower then that.There are no air leakages in the room. AC voltage 225-230 volts. Stabilizer used.
                                  I have three one year old window ACs in the other rooms by another company. All running then this one in far bigger rooms (150-200 sq feet). They cool far better than this one.
                                  The thing this AC(Hitachi) does is dry up the sweat and nothing more.

                                  2. Compressor noise. The AC compressor makes a lot of noise making it difficult to work in the same room. Not only this since the AC struggles to lower temperature to set temperature, the compressor keeps running on and on for as long as AC is switched on.
                                  My other Window ACs in other rooms hardly make any noise.

                                  3. High Electricity usage- Since AC compressor keeps running on and on as long as AC is running, without reaching target temperature. All along the ampere meter reads usage of 7.2 Amperes of current.There is no thermostat cut down at all. God knows how this Ac managed to get 3 star ratings.

                                  4. The compressor keeps running without the thermostat cut down and making a lot of noise. It's obvious a very low quality compressor is used and it's not expected to run for long.

                                  5. There is also the smell of burning oil from day one.
                                  6. The AC remote is also moody. It works and sometimes doesn't work with no display on the remote.

                                  My above complaints show that this AC has undergone absolutely no quality control. I wonder why I pay a premium for the hitachi brand.

                                  Kindly facilitate faster replacement of the product or in case it's an issue of poor quality components, as I personally believe, please facilitate faster refund of my payment. I have already raised a return request with tatacliq.

                                    Our 1.5 ton Split AC failed on 08.06.2021 and made complaint to local service centre on 09.06.2021 on Mob.No.[protected]. A technician named Afridi, Mob. No.+91 [protected] attended on 10.06.2021 and informed that Power Board (which is under warranty) has to be replaced and it would be supplied within a week days and went away. Later when I reminded on phone on 15.06.2021, he answered that spares are not received. Later I have received a message from Hitachi that my Call No.[protected] is pending due to SPARES PARTS NOT AVAILABLE. But they have not resolved the issue till date even though I made several requests through e-mail to [protected]@jci-hitachi.com.

                                      I have a Double door refrigerator of Hitachi. It encountered a problem of cooling almost a month ago and required compressor change and two other parts also. The service centre had booked all the parts almost 3 weeks back and I had paid 6000 in advance for that, but still, those parts are in transit as told to us by service centre executives. If this is the kind of service provided by Hitachi I would never recommend anyone to buy the products from here. I just don't understand these are the basic parts and it has taken almost 3 weeks and still, these parts have not reached the service centre. It is shameful on your part.

                                        Hitachi Split AC Inverter purchased in March 2020,
                                        since then the unit is giving regular problems in COOLING EFFICIENCY
                                        PCB was dead immediate after purchase of the unit

                                        Many times we have asked service engineer to visit & they charge cost of 500 for service but the unit is still not satisfactory and not giving proper cooling results, even room fan is working good instead of HITACHI PRODUCT which is considered to be the best in the AC's

                                        Secondly, we are already in touch with local service team who are unable to resolve my issue from last 2 months. Instead I have already paid 500-500 visit charges + GAS REFILLING CHARGES 2700 for my SPLIT AC

                                        why I am not getting satisfactory responses from the team, or whether the team is unable to assist us or they are not trained enough to resolve queries.

                                        Kindly replace my UNIT as this is giving me the regular PROBLEMS from date of PURCHASE
