This is regarding my call number [protected] which I wanted to escalate where the issue has not been addressed, but has been cancelled without informing me or giving me an official communication for the reasons of the breakdown. Now I am left with no information of further course of action and the AC has been left with screws undone and a non functional state. Now it's being handled in the case number [protected]. The customer care said that [protected] was to be canceled but [protected] got canceled but I still do not know the reason why.

Both are being handled by your service partner VS Aircon. The call was registered on Friday 13th and cancelled without any resolution on Thursday May 19th. I had booked the call as the AC Model RSOG518HDEA Split AC 1.5TR (ODU 210A13120) was not cooling. So I registered a call and got a technician to visit.

The technician suspected a gas leakage and said later other technicians will come to address the issue. Later other technicians came and checked the outdoor unit, indoor unit and one of the copper pipes and said they could not find any signs of leakage and will come again with a compressor. Two days later they came with a compressor and completely dismantled the indoor unit, filled it with compressed air and tried to locate the leakage with a bucket of water. He said that he suspected leakage in the middle part of the coil but he could neither find or show any evidence of the leakage. He again pressurised the pipes and confidently claimed that the pipes did not have a leakage. He then suggested to me that there is a minor leakage in the coil and I will have to get it replaced by paying Rs 8000. When I asked him can you confirm that this is the reason for me and mention it on the job sheet to which he said no he does not have evidence of a leak but he is sure it is in the coil. So I asked him to have this sent to me in a written communication. I have not received a response Since. When I checked the Hitachi support app I found this call was closed. I have messaged the person in charge of V.S. Aircon and he is not responding to me.

Even the customer support keep telling me that the technician will visit me but I have not received any call till date and I have called the team 3 times.

The issue is I have not had a good experience with VS Aircon in the previous interactions. The AC is just a year and two months old, and has already had a leakage in the month of march in the outdoor unit nut which was only spotted after my warranty expired. And now had to be completely dismantled. Earlier when I had the AC shifted I had to pay for a nut that was not installed properly by the people who did it the first time. For no fault of mine I have been paying for the nut, for the gas filling and now without any evidence of a conformed leak am being asked to replace the coil. Or at least have the courtesy to put it back in the state it was so I can at least sell it off coz I am not happy with your service and had had enough.

The third party company was able to fix the leak though while reinstalling a misaligned nut again caused a leak but they fixed it immediately. As of now the AC seems to be working fine.

The third part service company called me the same day and asked me if they could take the AC and the outdoor unit. They took the ac on Monday 30 may and gave it back on 4th June. In between they just informed me that they have repaired the leak and delivered the ac billing me Rs 400 as transportation charge. As of now the ac is working and cooling fine will update in a few weeks.

    Hi,
    I'm using a 1.2 TON Hitachi split inverter AC, I've registered for a service on May 11, 2022.Technicians came to my place and informed that it needs to be power washed for removing all dirt's. They charged me 1.2k, but it was billed 900rs.Before the water wash, AC was working perfectly fine.Ever since they did that, My AC cooling capacity went rapidly low and now (25/5/2022) they're saying coil leak(which is costing more than 10k).This is totally unacceptable.

    I clearly want to register that its totally company's fault and it needs to be repaired at full cost.

      I have bought new AC worth last month(April 2022) but now it is not cooling(24 May) and even in between these we were not at home for 15 days.So effectively AC was used only for 15-20 days only.Today Hitachi technician visited to checked the issue and he told that gas has been leaked.Now another technician will come and check leakage issue.Donot know when.Seriously!!
      Earlier I had LG AC and it worked fine with no issues for 6 years.

      I went with HITACHI based on the brand value but Looks Like company has shipped defective piece and that got installed at my house.
      Just wanted company to change this AC with new one at the earliest as this is only the high time when we use AC.Waiting for some positive immediate reply ?

      Done.
      Yesterday Hitachi team checked the AC and found that compressor itself is not working.They asked to replace the compressor but as they have also done multiple things in the AC for fault checking(like pipe cut to fill the gas etc), I have asked them for the complete replacement of the AC unit.Can you please check and update what is the status of my request?

        I had registered a complain about the non cooling of my refrigerator and the complain no [protected] and even after 2 weeks they have not replaced the compressor which have been under warranty, Now I am feeling That I might have choose a wrong product and brand because Hitachi is not a customer centric company.
        Against requesting Hitachi to resolve the compressor issues on high priority to survive in the peak summer of Delhi.

          I purchased 1.5 ton window AC from Vijay Sales Faridabad in last week of May 2019.. in June 2020 i complained about no cooling and technician came and after inspection reported that gas to be refilled and compressor also to be changed..I paid 2500 for that as compressor was under 5 y warranty so he replaced..not sure replaced one condition as that also not in sealed and new condition..Again on 19 May 2022 complained of no cooling and Hitachi rep came and reported that gas to be refilled and need to pay 2500..500 I paid aand 2000 supposed to be paid when gas person will fill the gas..when gas person came he said that there will not be any guarantee of gas refilling as compressor is also leaking..He estimated 8300+2000 means 10300..he was also more for interested re AMC..Nothing happend no call no resolution..I am highly disappointed with Hitachi product and then after Sales service..How a new brand ac which has average useful life of 10-15 years show this kind of status in less that 3 years.I will never buy anymore products nor recommend anyone unless either replacement of Ac is done or money-back.I feel cheated by Hitachi..I request Hitachi to look into this and win trust of customer.

            I have not been given proper response from Hitachi as I have purchased 1 ton Hitachi AC from Amazon within 10 days AC stopped cooling I have raised I request in Hitachi someone visited and done due diligence and came back to me we need to change the entire set as it has got some defect since then I am regularly following up with Hitachi team Mr Syed from Bangalore he is telling since you been purchased this product online speak to Amazon we will not be able to do anything I am not able to understand we purchase product from wherever we want to it’s company will be be accountable for any such kind of issue since it’s in warranty
            Raised another request also but I got message for cancellation without no one contacting its very annoying with brand like Hitachi I have to do so many follow ups for getting resolution
            Need support in this ASAP

Mobile No. [protected] / alternate number - [protected])...i regret by using Hitachi Air Conditioner (with 2 Years Extended Warranty + 10 Years Compressor Warranty + 5 Years PCB / Controller Warranty) as its been just one year and outdoor compressor has stopped working...first complaint has been registered on 8th may 2022 (Call no.[protected] ) and since then regular complaints had been registered at your customer care number as well as at your Technical vendor but still no solution has been given yet .. we got some your Technical senior's number from somewhere and he is also not giving us proper response ... My wife is pregnant and in this scorch heat, Your Hitachi Team are not even understanding our problem... And moreover everyone from Hitachi is saying from last 11 Days that compressor is not available in your state. My question to Hitachi is state like Delhi is not having stock and Hitachi is selling their product without having its Accessories (Pls Stop Selling your Products in India if you dont have its Parts / Accessories)...as per your Technical vendors & Customer Care Support Compressor is coming from Gujarat then also does it take this long to deliver in Delhi ..i repent having Hitachi at my home and i will definitely not suggest to anyone for purchasing any HITACHI product ever, Most worthless Service, If there's even a little shame left in you, pls look into this on Priority or Refund My Money.

                I bought new AC window 1.5ton 5star Kaze series on 8th Apr'22 and it stopped working on 1st May'22 so I raised a complaint #[protected] on 1st May itself. Today is 18th May'22 and after regular follow ups multiple times a day, yet no one is telling me when it will be fixed. What I hear is a part is awaited. Does it take this long ? I have tried to reach Hitachi at many levels to get a confirmation by when it will be fixed but since no response from Hitachi I am not sure if they are even working my issue. Please help or advice next step I can take.

                Hi there, I had a word with someone from technician team and I came to know that the part is dispatched from warehouse on 13th May but not delivered to technician team. I wonder that the warehouse is in Delhi and technician team and me are also in Delhi but the part is roaming in Delhi since 9days and not reaching to us. Is it that someone (warehouse/delivery) has gave it to some other customers for money? Since my AC is new is that the reason that we are the least priority and someone who is paying having out of warranty product is your first priority coz you are getting money from them ?

                  Dear Sir/Madam
                  This is in regards to my new Hitachi Split AC installation. I have purchased the AC on 15th May 2022 from VIJAY SALES LAJPAT NAGAR which is a very big and busy electronics shop in DELHI. We paid the whole amount in cash on that same date and got the confirmation from them that the next day only they will deliver it to our place and somebody from Hitachi will call me up for installation.
                  But after paying the whole amount in one shot also we got the delivery of the AC next day at around 4 pm which . And till 18th May we did not receive any phone call from Hitachi to install the AC. If this is the kind of response towards a customer and this is their commitment then why are they running business here? They have a policy of Installation of AC within 48 hrs it’s more than 72 hours from the date of purchase and more than 48 hrs from delivery of AC at my place but no one have called me, I talked to their customer care but they are helpless .
                  I am very annoyed and I am hereby lodging complaints on both this VIJAY SALES LAJPAT NAGAR, Delhi and HITACHI service station, Delhi.
                  If any action is taken against them it would help many consumers like us.

                    My AC is not working since 1 month due to compressor failure and entire team is not able to arrange a replacement part. I am suffering in this heat for 1 month now and have no idea when this issue going to be resolved. Customer care is making fake promises; service center is not picking the call.
                    Please tell me the location from where I can pick up the spare part since you have most inefficient supply chain which cannot deliver a part in two weeks. I will also find some one who can replace the part and pay the money. This was all big mistake to buy Hitachi AC.
                    Please be mindful that I am paying annual AMC to maintain the AC. I feel cheated and harassed by entire Hitachi but probably I can do nothing about it.

                      None resolving of service issue complaint no[protected]. I had purchased a Hitachi inverter ac, the product is not good and by the time of installation there water leakage but the service guy managed and convinced us. After second month we have same issue and we raised a complaint with Hitachi on 11th Apr22, service person came but he unable to solve and till date no response received even after sending mails and attempt to reach call centers. While we track the complaint as the status is spare parts request raised... Till date...

                        HITACHI has shared an email account "[protected]@jci-hitachi.com" to raise any after sales concern. Recently I have encounter an issues with my AC where a poor quality plastic cabinet was was sold to me less than a year back is burrowed by small animals (possibly rats).
                        First of all, I got surprised to see it (even an AC cabinet can be burrowed by rat) because in the same floor I have another company AC which is running since 2011 without such issues.
                        Anyway, I raised my concern over poor plastic cabinet to Hitachi through email. The email sent on May 6th, 2022.
                        It's more than 10day's I haven't received a single response from HITACHI.

                        It's really unfortunate that Team Hitachi hasn't taken any effective steps except seeking more time.

                        The problem was reported on 6th May, but they are yet to get back my email response.
                        During the sale and installation of AC, it was promised that Hitachi's indoor cabinet is safe from any small insects and animals like rats if the exhaust holes are sealed in concrete. Everything is followed during installation. But due to the poor quality indoor cabinet lot's of internal parts are now damaged and the service center is asking for money from me.

                        What surprised me most, even after repeated follow up for the last 2 weeks and complaints lodged in this forum, Hitachi hasn't responded with a single email response.

                        Is this the way to handle your customer ?
                        Nothing done in reality except seeking more and more time.

                          I had purchased a split Ac 1.5 Ton AC from New Rhythm House, Sector 18, Noida From the date of installation, I had faced a lot of problems like lot of sound coming from internal unit, a lot of vibration in external unit etc which is quite unusual. After facing so many problems, I think that the product is defective. I had complained a several times in the Hitachi Customer Care which they attended but there was no satisfactory result. At present the AC is not working as it should. The room is not cooled at all.In this scorching heat, me and my family is facing a lot of problems. The purpose of buying this AC is in vain if I can’t use it when required. In this unwanted situation, I would humbly request you to make some arrangements to replace this defective unit with a new model

                            I have raised a SR on 20th April with SR no [protected] for which your technician visited after 4 days on 24th Apr, on 28th Your team visited with faulty part without tested & raised a new request [protected]. My SR is pending for 25days now without any resolution & no-one is willing to update the status.The services that I am getting from Hitachi is unacceptable & pathetic & I will not recommend any one to go with Hitachi. From last 25 days I am suffering in this heat because of Hitachi.

                            No-one is bother to revert over email & there call centre executive doesn't have any information or anything wherein they can connect to some responsible person. I have done the escalation over email to level-1 & level-2 as well but no revert yet. Also I have purchased this AC in 2018 & now service centre is saying that these parts are not covered in warranty, not sure why these parts are not covered in warranty.

                              Hi,
                              I had purchased three 1.5 ton split inverter AC's from Croma Rajouri Garden Delhi on 15th Apr 2022. I had requested for installation on 21st april for all 3 (Request nos. [protected], [protected], [protected] ). Tickets were assigned to Abdulla ([protected]) and technician Nizam ([protected]) had come to install them.
                              The technician botched up all the 3 installations:
                              1. First AC was installed in a way that we could not open our bedroom cupboard at all. We then asked for shifting the indoor unit by a few inches to customer care (Req [protected]). Same guys Nizam came and shifted the AC and took installation money again from us.

                              2. Second AC was installed where the bedroom door was hitting against the blades of the AC. This time when we tried to call Nizam again, he refused to attend and asked us to use the AC like this only. We called customer centre again. He stopped taking calls after multiple complaints to call centre he came to shift the AC and charged us again. (Req: [protected])

                              3. The third AC never worked after installation. there was no cooling. We again raised complaints (Req. [protected], [protected]) and a person visited and told us that there was no gas in the AC. He showed us a joint from where the gas had leaked out as the technician who had installed did not fit it correctly. However, he refused to fix the AC and told us to call the same person who had done the installation. Nizam did not attend our calls. We complained again and some Alam() called us and assured he will send Nizam to fix.
                              Nizam arrived after 2 days and filled gas and shifted the outdoor unit. He again did a bad job and took another 1500/- from us.
                              The outdoor unit is now tilting outwards (Please note we live on the 7th floor), only 2 screws are fixed and pipes are injured. It can fall any day.

                              The AC is still not cooling. The compressor switches on for 10 mins and then switches off again. I have raised another complaint (Req. [protected]) for breakdown but no one has attended or called us yet.
                              This is a new AC and not used even once.

                              I would like a replacement for this. I am extremely distressed and dissatisfied by the service centre job. The technicians are absolutely unskilled. they just want to take money and dont attend even if they make all the mistakes. the technician also stole our 3m copper pipe that came with the AC. On confronting him he threatened us by saying he will remove all copper pipes he has installed in our AC's.

                              I am a 64 year old woman, widow of an army officer who has been harassed by Hitachi service people.
                              My AC is still noy working. This is not expected from a reputed company like Hitachi.
                              Please resolve my issue and provide a replacement.

                                Our AC is not working and is still in warranty. My mom called 4 days in the morning to inform and to ask someone to come and look at it. Every time we call, we are given a SLA of 48 hours and then no one shows up. My dad had a heart surgery and for him working AC is must. Heat wave is bad in Delhi and for everyone however it is worse for those with existing medical conditions. This company has unethical practices, no customer service and pretty much like a misleading business. They take money from you when you buy and provides no service if something goes wrong even if it is under warranty.

                                  Hi Team,
                                  I want to register complain against Hitachi product and their service team.
                                  I bought a high end product of Rs.71k ( (2 door 560 litre & model no R-B570PND7-GBK) on 03-Apr-2022 and within one month the fridge has stopped cooling. The sales person had a very high opinion and mentioned that this refrigerator is in the premium segment and delivers quality performance but it seems to me as otherwise.
                                  I raised request on 04-May-2022 to customer care and technician (Umesh Mob no: [protected]) visited and within 10 min declared that there is no problem with the appliance but I insisted to keep the request open so as to monitor refrigerator for next two days but the ticket was closed without any remark which is entirely unprofessional by Hitachi service centre whereas the problem still persist and I am still struggling with my food stuff getting bad on daily basis.

                                  Furthermore, now every time I am raising the request, my request is being declined and I get a default message stating “we are unable to contact you” (screenshot is attached for reference).

                                  Till date, I am struggling to find the resolution but no progress even after requesting customer team. Hence, wasting energy, time and food too (due to non-working fridge).

                                  Looking forward for your support to get this issue resolved.

                                  After several requests team has changed the Refrigerator last week wherein I requested them to check the product before sending to my house and now after 3 days, Refrigerator has stopped working. Hence, back to same situation. I am not looking forward for Hitacji products now. So, expecting a refund of my product without further delay.

                                    As detailed earlier, I have two 1.5 T windows AC of Hitachi make. The first one purchased on 15/05/2018 from Vijay Sales Delhi and second one purchased in may 2020 from Sargam Electronics Delhi
                                    My complaint number [protected] dated 30/03/22 for low cooling of first AC was allotted to Adnan refrigeration and as advised by them gas filling was done 03/04/22 on chargeable basis but problem of low cooling continued & as there was no response against many calls, I registered complaint no [protected] dated 13/04/22 . Their representative topped little gas on 16/04/22 but problem still persists . There is no response to complaint no [protected] dated 28/04/22 and [protected] dated 02/05/22 and problem still continues. Please do the needful on urgent basis and if not possible to resolve it then please refund my money Rs 2250/ - paid towards gas filling

                                    We had also made complain for second - low cooling on 29/4/22 attended on 30/4/22 ON CHARGEABLE BASIS.
                                    PLS DON'T MIX THE TWO COMPLAINTS AND ATTEND TO REPEATED COMPAINTS FOR AC 1 IMMEDIATELY

                                      My Hitachi inverter AC is not working (no cooling) from last friday and raised a complain in Hitachi service center with local ticket no 300404A and they have taken both PCB of indoor unit as well as outdoor unit. Yesterday (6/5/22) part supposed to changed but now they are asking that compan is not providing the part. Please look in to this matter and resolve my issue ASAP.

                                      This is to inform you that Your Technician have replaced the Indoor PCB with old indoor PCB on sunday evening as they don't have new part. Its works fine for Monday and Tuesday but now again same issue is occurred. I request you to look in to this issue on Top Priority. If you are not able to fix this issue then replace my whole unit.

                                      Dear Hitachi this is to inform you that ticket 300404A has been closed without any resolution by Fariyad Alam [protected]. He supposed to put the call on under observation but he had closed the ticket. Very bad experience with your service.I should not go with Hitachi. Now new ticket 190504D has been logged and request you to fix my issue permanently. @Indian Consumer complaints fourm please help me to get this issue resolved ASAP as Hitachi is not taking this issue seriously.

                                        It's been over 17 days and my split AC part (CONTROLER) has not been replaced yet. We are too frustrated and extremely disappointed with hitachi service. I have called all available numbers but no one is providing any update when it will be replaced. Doesn't look like they will replace it this summer. I'll never buy hitachi products again and won't recommend it to anyone.Hitachi is such a cheat company...
