To Hitachi Team,

I'm Simran from Ahmedabad city. We've purchase a Hitachi Refrigerator almost 4-5 years ago from a local authorized store. I've attached the fridge's photos. Recently, since last 2 months, we've been facing some issues of cooling in it. As a result, since then, we've contacted to all the service contact numbers. These numbers are listed on the following websites where we can approach the contact numbers for service support. These numbers also include the numbers mentioned on the google maps for the service centers present in our Ahmedabad city.

We've been calling each of these numbers since then. Some of these numbers are inactive. In case of active numbers, oftentimes, nobody picks up our calls and other times they pick the calls and after listening to our service requirement, they will say that soon a technician from their side will contact us. But we haven't received any call from their technician till now even when we've repeatedly called them again and again.

One of their technicians did came last month twice just to evaluate the issue of cooling and both the times he claimed that he requires a special tool to fix the refrigerator so he will visit us again and also will bring that special tool on his next visit. But he never came till date. Since then he also stopped picking our calls. In both of his visits, he charged us Rs. 500/- just for his visiting charges and did nothing for fixing the refrigerator. 2 weeks ago, by luck, one another technician from Hitachi (Mr. Sanjay Prajapati: [protected]) did picked our call and committed to visit us in the evening to solve the refrigerator issue. Then, as expected, he didn't come. When we called him in the late evening to follow up regarding his commitment, he didn't respond to our repeated calls.

Last week, we also emailed to the Hitachi customer care email id ([protected]@jci-hitachi.com) and got an automated reply mail (screenshot attached) which mentions that a representative would contact us within 2 working days. Its been a week since then but nobody from Hitachi responded.

After all this, we're so much disappointed by such pathetic service from such a well known company like Hitachi. We feel abandoned by Hitachi's service executives. After getting immensely frustrated by such disservice from Hitachi, I'm writing this complaint. I hope that the concerned person from Hitachi takes swift action after reading my complaint. After my complaint, we did received a call from Mr. Irfan Siddiqqie[protected] who who claimed to be the manager and commited that he would resolve the issues in 1 week duration. Also, after 2 days one of his colleagues (Mr. Jaimin patel[protected] did visited us as well to evaluate the promlems. He claimed to be from some company named "Symphony Voltas" and said that they need to replace the "panel door strip" of our refrigerator and so he said that he will ask the company to arrange the same.

One week passed and there was no update from Hitachi's side. We followed up from them and they said that the part seems unavailable so they've demanded for its supply from the company.

We again called last week to both Mr. Irfan and Mr. Jaimin but both of them weren't picking our repeated calls. Today its almost been a month and still there's no update from Hitachi.

Its seems like they've given up on our complaint as the Hitachi company couldn't arrange the spares that are needed to fix our refrigerator's cooling issue.

How much longer do I need to wait? Its already been more than a month since I raised my complaint.
Can you provide an estimated time duration that you need to solve our refrigerator cooling issue.

    Hello ma’am
    On 11 june the service man from hitachi came to my house for ac service he said my ac has no gas and it’s PCB is damaged ma’am and now total your expenses are 6800 it’s better you take our plan of 2 years for free service then I made payment of 6600 On 15 June that gait has come and put repaired part in my ac and when I said about gas he said gas is there then asked home earlier u told That pcb is damaged and gas is to filled in ac and now you saying no need for gas then why u mislead me pls take charge of your service and repair mat of PCB rest pls refund to me then he said he will come in 2 hours to check again and now I called him on Thursday to refund my money he is disconnecting my calls pls help🙏

      My complaint number is [protected], it's been 15 days since the service technician took 500Rs from us!The compressor is faulty over here yet he gave me a slip and said it will be resolved in 1-2 days and its been 15 days yet there has been no response!Hitachi has a fraud service provider with the name of COOL POINT[Plot no-221, Gyan khand-1 indirapuram]
      I spoke to their manager with number [protected] who is equally adamant on not helping us!
      I am going for an FIR now since its a criminal offence as this guy is hurling abuses!

      These guys are frauds, they dont respond even on facebook, call or anywhere else.they have also not responded to my emails.I need full compensation for the mental harrassment and i will sue you frauds.guys file a case ASAP these frauds wont let you live otherwise.

        I had purchased a split Ac 1.5 Ton AC from New Rhythm House, Sector 18, Noida From the date of installation, I had faced a lot of problems like lot of sound coming from internal unit, a lot of vibration in external unit etc which is quite unusual. After facing so many problems, I think that the product is defective. I had complained a several times in the Hitachi Customer Care which they attended but there was no satisfactory result. At present the AC is not working as it should. The room is not cooled at all.In this scorching heat, me and my family is facing a lot of problems. The purpose of buying this AC is in vain if I can’t use it when required. In this unwanted situation, I would humbly request you to make some arrangements to replace this defective unit with a new model

          Not replacing part of AC which is in warranty

          Hitachi service request no. is [protected]
          On 5th July, 2021, I bought an Hitachi AC whose gas was leaked after 10 days. Technician came and refilled gas and said it will not be leaked next time. But After 1 month only, it was leaked again.

          This year, it been twice that the gas was leaked. On 4th June 2022, I have raised complaint and on forcing Technician to check properly, he show me the leakage in out unit condenser....

                I Sri Pratap chandra sahoo purchased a HITACHI make window ac model no.RAW318HFDO on dt. 26.04.2022 But after installation during checking it was found that compressor is malfunctioning. Sometimes compressor is working and sometimes compressor is not working and hot air is blowing continuously. Though several times complaints has been given in the above company yet the problem has not been solved and complaints has been closed by themselves automatically. I am suffering a lot by purchasing HITACHI AC in this hot summer. Kindly help me in this regard as early as possible.

                Till now no one visited or contact to me regarding the above complaint….I am facing very difficulty in this hot summer….worst customer service by Hitachi team….Kindly do needful as early as possible… I have invested such a huge hard earn money
                Till now my complaint has not resolved. Service representative visited but problem has not resolved till now. They closed the complaint themselves without doing anything. During direct sunlight on the window AC, compressor is not working but in rest of the time the compressor is working. The service representative does not solve this problem. When they come in normal weather, the ac cool and they are closing the complaint. Though i am repeatatively saying this yet the problem persists. Kindly change this Window AC or solve this unresolved issue. I am really helpless by purchasing HITACHI AC.

                  Hitachi India airconditioner 1.5 mt Complaint no [protected] dtd 13.5.22 pending since 30 days. regular complaints through mails, call center & whatsapp are resulting in no action except regular message of " shall revert " / " ASAP " / looking into it "

                  The airconditioner has been giving trouble since day one of installation. regular complaints have been made & some quickfixes keeps it going for few days & again problem comes back.
                  Now their technician had attended & told compressor needs change, its faulty. Its under warranty & shall be done. since then no action by company side . complaint shown open status, but no action.

                  No customer service & action is HITACHI’s motto.

                  Even after 40 days complaint is unresolved.
                  Cooling continues to be low. Cooling coil replaced on 15.5.22, with payment . Compressor replaced on 11.6.22. Refilling of gas was done 2 days later which lasted just 2 hours.
                  Now again ac is at its original position.

                  Its been 32 days & still complaint remains as it is. Juts the regualr reply of " looking & someone will call" . The Technicians who come have changed Cooling grill after charging heavy fees, then they changed compressor, still the ac in not working & they are clueless. Three days still they do not show up again.

                  Just look at the dates 13.5.22 complaint & today 14.6.22, it still remains unresolved.

                  It's been 40 days now the compressor and grill has been changed . Paid for grill.
                  Gas filled . Still the complaint of poor cooling on complaint no 22051308843 dtd 13.5.22 remains open.
                  Continuous follow up has no response.

                    I purchased one inverter split AC with Model No- EMRG524HEEA on 13th April, 2022 from the authorized dealer of Hitachi appliances,
                    "ACE Business Associates, 1st Floor, Panda Market Complex, Hanuman Bazar, Angul, Odisha".
                    And I am pursuing behind the dealer for my Bill, but till date he is not giving the Bill, he is giving different excuses like system is not working for printing the bill, the person is not available, will give the bill in next two days, will give the bill tomorrow etc etc..
                    I am afraid I have become the victim of a fraud.
                    Can you please help me in getting by Bill and warranty for the AC that I have purchased.

                      I have called number of times and lodged my complaint through your WhatsApp channel, but there is no answer from your end. Just wanted to know the reason of closing my complaint without customer service and customer permission.

                      You people are hiring freshers/ training people who don't know how to solve noice problem in AC and instead of working on it and getting it rectified you people are closing complaint at your end.

                      Your team has so far charged 750+450 for service and problem but noice from AC is still there.

                        Dear Sir,

                        I am writing this letter with a complaint regarding your Hitachi Split AC 1.5 TR / Cassette AC 2TR & Ductable 5.5 and 8.5 TR AC’s. We found Hitachi products are very bad, because we are facing so many problems / leakages every year in our AC’s. We have purchase more than 10 AC from your authorized vendor M/s.Mishra refrigeration Engineers Pvt. Ltd. But all AC’s are leakage every year.

                          Dear Sir,
                          I have bought new AC worth rs 27000 two months back but now it is not working or cooling and technician told me that gas has been leaked..how it is possible that gas leaked in only two months..i have two more acs in my house which are working fine since 6 years and no gas leaking problem in them..it is totally damaged product received by me by shopkeeper or Hitachi ..kindly return my AC and refund my full amount else I will apply my complain to consumer forum against Hitachi

                              This is Vineet from Faridabad Sector37, Haryana. Its regarding my request [protected] which is opened since last 30 days. No clear response from service center & customer support after at least 10 follow-ups. Compressor had a manufacturing defect right from installation is due for replacement & such a pathetic after sales service that the part is still not available after a month with no clear SLA.

                                I did complain for my fridge to customer care. Person came and took rs. 8650 for motherboard. And gave warranty of 6 months. And said bill and warranty will be on email id. After follow up with the person for a week. I didn't recieve any bill or warranty . And came to know that such person doesn't exist in their office. Some group of people is running customer care in name of Hitachi. After contacting the company we came to know. But they are not ready to take any action.

                                    It is very disappointing to state that your Services are pathetic

                                    A good product with a very poor after sales support

                                    Logged a complaint on 26th May,
                                    Technician visited on 27th May and identified as product faulty
                                    After 27th no response from the Service Center

                                    Multiple calls made to the Customer Care department. No proper response, just a standard answer that the part is not available and may take time. How much time ???

                                    Today after repeated request got a call from the second level support. Was surprised to hear from your representative (Ms Tanu Yadav) that a new Unit (Model) sometimes takes 15 days to get repaired

                                    No one has any clue on the date of fixing the problem. This is the response after paying in Advance for the Contract

                                    Is this Hitachi Support ???
