Lack of response even after giving complaint
I deeply regret to bring to your notice on the poor response from the service department of Hitach India. I would like to bring to your kind attention that I had raised a complaint on 29th September, 2016 with Request No : [protected] for my refrigerator which was attended on 30th Sept 2016 & the service engineer attended and said that the circuit needs to be replaced. And after that till date there has been no response or action on the same. I have called and sent several emails but there is simply no revert till date.

It is rather surprising to experience such worst response from a company like Hitachi India. Inspite of emails to the company [protected]@hitachi-jli.com, there is no action take as of now.

I would never recommend this brand to any one in India for the service in India is dead poor. Due to the language problem such matters become difficult to take it up to the Head office Japan.

    I have bought Hitachi AC in Jun-14 and have been having issues related to their service. Earlier I thought it was the issue related to dealer. So, I decided to complain to company directly. However, interacting with them was even more terrible.

    Recently, I have been having service related complaint with Hitachi which I raised to their customer care on 16-Sep.

    Problem was: AC is not providing sufficient cooling. Even after setting 16 degrees, the temperature is not going below 24-25 degrees even after 10 hours of continuous running.

    After raising the complaint, I called them many times to know when would technician visit, however, all they said they were sorry that my issue was not resolved yet but they could not do anything further. I asked to speak to their superior to which they said that on the current call they could not connect me to superior. Hence, they gave me multiple numbers (on different calls) where I could raise my concern. I tried calling but there was no response. After a week, I sent a mail complaint escalation to Manager service, Head-Service and Executive director on 24th Sep with reminders on 27-Sep, 30-Sep, 3-Oct, 5-Oct and 6-Oct but not received any response except one automated response when I first raised the complaint to them.

    Following is the escalation mail sent to them:

    "I have registered a complaint on 16-Sep-16 and was told that my problem will be resolved in 48 hours. I have made numerous calls back to your customer care but all they offer is apology and empty promise to resolve at the earliest. They have given me dealer's number (Darshak Electronics..who is thedealer i bought this AC from and I am so fed up with his services that I tried to find another option but alas you gave my case back to him) .Anyway, I called them again and as expected they promised to resolve it at the earliest but as expected did nothing to resolve the same. After several calls, he also stopped answering the call. I again approached you customer care number and now they gave me another number od Service In-charge ([protected]) who never answered back nor called back. I again called back your CC no and now am given a number of your Rambag service centre [protected] and they don't answer. Again I get a number of your Income Tax Service centre which is switched off ([protected]). I am so exasperated by now that I am regretting the day I bought your appliances. Just to tell you that I ahve 2 AC and 1 refreigerator from Hitachi and I am a Hitchi shareholder also. I am clearly disappointed by your services and am really surprised why customers should buy your appliances where there are so many competitors in market who really pamper their customers. I can assure you that with these services, your future in India is doomed and am very keen to sell my shares of a company which doomed for failure."

It is very strange that a reputed company like you is showing irresponsible behavior and is not taking any steps to resolve the dispute. I earnestly request you to take immediate steps to resolve the dispute failing which I have no option but to approach consumer court .

        Defective AC
        Purchased Hitachi window AC by mistake and now repenting since the said AC which is having a manufacturing defect and always PCB plug is not worked (Twice a year and it takes one month to replace) / Not Cooling well (Last six months) and water dripping through moisture on the base of the AC even after the installation done by the company technicians is not attended properly by Hitachi Service Center and instead now they have gone deaf and dumb over the complaint and give vague replies and are not able to repair of replace the defective AC

        Moral: NEVER TRUST HITACHI AS IT IS THE WORST COMPANY WHO ARE JUST LOOTING INDIAN CUSTOMERS AND THERE IS NO ONE TO BOOK THEM FOR THIS CRIME O[censored]NFAIR TRADE PRACTICE.

        I am still living with a piece of junk supplied by HITACHI will some one from HITACHI look into the genuine complaint pls.

          I have taken amc for my ac from you. On malfunctioning the machine i have lodged a complaint to your complaint cell on 13.09.2016.             I have bought a hitachi window ac of 1ton from kings electronics. It was not cooling properly when i had switched it on at first time. I did request the service centre & they found pcb defective. The technician took the pcb to be replaced. But it has been almost 2 weeks problem have not been fixed yet. I want a replacement for my ac which was supplied defective.

              Sir,

              In above mentioned subject, i the customer prakash g. Tokarkar, purchased two hitachi split ac 1.5 tn. Invo-518-iwea-new. From sales corner (Baroda) pvt. Ltd., old padra road, vadodara on 16.05.2016.

              At the time of my order booked the dealer not got above stock of two said air conditioner and he sent one ac to me on 16.05.2016 and second one delivered me on 18.05.2016. At the time of delivery the second ac the box piece is broken condition and meanwhile hitachi person came to our house and installed the same at my room. That time i m not at baroda outstation on behalf my office work. The said a. C already damaged in front cover and on outdoor filter part also damaged at that time. Clearcut seen from these the hitachi person installed the same ac at my house.

              After my official visit i came to baroda and seen the ac condition and going to sales corner and complaint regarding replacement of this ac. They talked that ac condition is good and some part damaged we will replaced and hitachi person workout same and replaced that part. After few days the ac down and not working propery i again complaint hitachi customer care and from baroda some hitachi person came and workout ac and reported that the gas leakage in the unit. So cooling not got perfectly. After two three days hitachi person from baroda came and change gas.ac working but after few days condition again break down. I again complaint on [protected] dated 24.09.2016 at customer care and talked about replacement of said ac. Your hitachi baroda person visited my house and again report that gas leakage in unit. How may time i fill the gas in the unit and ac unit working. So i denied this time i not allowed you to filling gas in my ac. I was already complained that i wish to replacement of same new ac. So one time again requested to replacement will be given to me and old piece ac by back to hitachi.

                I have purchased a spilt in april this year and having continuos problems with the working either remote is not working, or compressor is not working filter lights are always on... i am sick of your machine after spending so much money i am suffering... give me a replacement machine or refund my money... its a shame such a big company and this nonsense please act urgently and immediately on this issue... and resolve it imm...

                  Dear sir,
                  I had amc of hitachi but the technician which hitachi is sending is not qualified.
                  When they comes to solve one complaint, take replaced part money and while going they simply damage other part, so we have to again contact to contact centerad the technician comes and thels that other part is damaged, whats going on here no idea, i am really upset about he service of hitachi.

                    Dear Sir,
                    I have a complaint regarding a product of Hitachi.

                    Here is the description of problem:
                    I purchased Hitachi AC last year in September. The AC was not cooling properly. I made a complaint to customer care. The service executive kept on making excuses and he came to check the issue after 10 days. He did something and said problem won’t repeat in future. Again the AC stopped cooling and I registered the complaint again and the issue was fixed (After making multiple calls to technicians).For the third time AC stopped cooling and I made the complaint again and this time after a lot of discussion the piece was finally exchanged. Now as the winters came AC was not used for a few months and we started using it again in the month of May. And now the red light started blinking in AC instead of green and I registered the complaint again. I kept on calling technician and he kept on making excuses that it’s is raining today, I have to go somewhere today bla bla and finally came after 10 days. Finally he checked the issue and said there is some issue with some part and this part needs to be replaced .But as this AC is in warranty and the particular part has to be changed, it requires approval from higher authority, hence it will take time. Again many days passed by and he did not come. After much follow ups, finally he came and replaced the particular part and the problem was resolved. Now after 3 days again red light started blinking and the AC is not cooling properly. The piece seems to be faulty even after it was replaced last time.
                    My point here is why we bought AC. To get some relief in scorching heat or just to call your customer care executives and register the complaint, then chasing service Staff to come and visit the place and check the issue and then endlessly waiting for issue to get resolved. The AC is just a few months old and in warranty and it is repeatedly giving some or other problem every day and chasing your service executive is even more difficult. I opted for Hitachi because of their product quality, otherwise I could have got the same configuration at much lower price in any other competitive brand. But the product quality is really bad and then the behavior of the company towards their customer is even worse. You don't bother about their customer's problems. Since the time I have purchased AC, I have never been able to use it properly. The warranty of this product is going to expire in a month and then of course this faulty piece will be a burden on me.
                    I tried various communication channels page to highlight my concerns to you like mails and Facebook but with no result. Finally I logged a complaint to Department of Consumer Affairs.
                    Kindly address my issue now as enough of harassment has been done by the company since 1 year.
                    Attaching bills, Facebook page communication details, Email conversation details and other documents for reference.
                    You can very well check the time taken by company to respond to complaints. This is completely unethical on your part to treat customers like this. The technicians are totally unprofessional. Customer care has just 1 sentence to repeat ”We are working on your problem” .Secondly as the product is again and again giving same issue, there must be some problem with the product. But someone has to listen to the problem for solving it.

                      I bought a Hitachi RVG 610 PND3 Refrigerator worth 75, 000 INR which is not a small amount to say. The Retailer was in a attitude one cannot accept. I had to void my purchase as soon as i paid for it just for the way he was behaving! This store is below Sony center Colors Sales, ghaziabad. He is a realy mad person! And a master at annoying customers and retrieving back sold products! The worst experience buying hitachi products! Please hire lerned, sensible people for selling! The turban man and other employees keep watching television when you go for buying and just dont listen to you at all. They sit like they do a favour to us selling your products. The chap has extremely annoying attitude! Maintaining customer relation is a thing he doesnt know of. Please look into the services your retail outlet owners provide!!

                        Since 2 months I am seriously tired of complaining now . We have complaint regarding the compressor. Last time they have taken our AC to the workshop but now the compressor is making some noise. now our AC is badly damaged from back side for this only hitachi is responsible. We have complained regarding this but till now no one has come to attend this complaint. I seriously don't understand weather this is geniune or fake? kindly attend as soon as possible. If in 2 months you couldn't solved a problem of your customer then it shows that there is a very poor service of yours.

                          This is regarding the worst service provided by the Hitachi for their product. We have purchased a Hitachi Split AC; since the date of the purchase we have been facing the issue. Despite the complaint we have no resolution to the problem till date. We completely regret on the purchase of the Hitachi product. The engineer came and diagnosed the issue and post the visit there is no update on the complaint. The service provider did not even reverted back with the update when the faulty part will be replaced.

                          We urge to the concerned authority to either replace the unit or re-fund us the money back. Please find the details as bellow:-

                            My tribulations after Purchasing a Hitachi AC -
                            My Ac has always been maintained with the ue of a remote control unit, and this year I opted for a maintainance only AMC. during his visit when we asked the engineer as to why the cooling as not up to the mark, he said that there was a compressor leak and the preassure has reached 45 units. We were astonished to hear this because it was always operated by a remote control and that cant cause a leak.It had to be done by the Engineer who had done the previous servicing.The gas was refilled also on 2015. But the servicepeople were adamant enough to demand money, and when we disagreed, thay have stopped to respond.I have uploaded All my Invoices in a web album for you to view and decide whether we, the faithful patrons of Hitachi, after spending Rs. 42903 in a span of only four years, do deserve suffering to this degree.

                              Being a loyal customer I have Hitachi split airconditioner in all our six rooms in Kolkata apartment . All are covered under AMC.
                              The service providers do a substandard job in the name of maintainer service .
                              For the last 15 days I am trying to contact them as one of the units which had a manufacturing defect and had been repaired earlier is not working . The toll free has no response and the local AMC provider is asking for money to be paid to him directly for any service without proper bills .
                              Most harassing experience .

                                On 26/08/2016 i had purchased an ac ( hitachi ras 318awd ) from great eastern, sevoke road, siliguri.Post installation it was detected that remote control was out of order. Which was replace on 12/09/2016 after 16 days of my purchase. Today again when it was checked by representative of great eastern it was found that the sensor was defective.

                                Since it has been more than 16 days after the purchase of the ac . I am not interested to use this particular ac. So either replace it with a new one or refund me the amount paid.

                                  Dear team,
                                  This is very unfortunate to raise this complain against a reputed brand like hitachi however out of severe dissatisfaction on wrong sale of product and dispute in installation of the a split a/c i am forced to pen down my grievances.
                                  I had purchased a split a/c model no hitachi 318awd zunoh/1.5 ton indoor & outdoor unit (Serial no rac318awd - 160g02308 outdoor unit & ras318awd - se160d02784 indoor unit) from great eastern technocity on 14th august 2016 invoice no tc/ sa/ 1617/ 05394.
                                  While installation on 27th august 2016 i found that both the unit are of different serial code, with different manufacturing dates (Indoor of april 2016 and outdoor of june 2016), moreover the diameter copper pipe used for the outdoor unit is different from the indoor unit and therefore a separate socket was used to fix the copper pipe with indoor unit. Immediate i raised my concern with the team came for installation and they in turn made in talk with a hitachi engineer mr supriya banerjee over phone @ [protected]. Mr banerjee however convince me that both the units are of the same model and the installation can be processed.
                                  Few day later on[protected] i found water was draining out heavily from the a/c and i immediately complained both to the mr supriya banerjee and installation team of littil enterprise over phone. One of the engineer from hitachi came down however did not touched the machine saying it was a installation problem and he will raise a complain for the same.
                                  Next day on 29th one of person of the same installation team came and did some further cementing however resulting to no result and on several request both mr banerjee and the installation team is not responding for the last 4 days.
                                  I consulted with few of my friends who are also into consumer durable and they have confirmed that it is a wrong, mismatch and disputed product sold to me
                                  I request you to bring the best solution without further delay on this matter.
                                  Photocopy of the serial no details of both the indoor and outdoor unit, installation details and purchase invoice are enclosed herewith.

                                    Respected sir or maam i purchased a 2 ton hitachi ac last year on 27 october 2015 amd now it is not working and ice is appearing in indoor unit . Before also i faced this problem then the hitachi service provider provide a ac service and after that 2 3 weeks ac work properly but now it is giving the same problem.
                                    Many times i registerd a complaint in call centre but they are not giving any response towards my complaint they always said that technician team will conatact me as soon as possible . Four days before i registerd a complaint but now also there is no response.
                                    So i kindly request you to see to my complaint and if possible repalce this product with the other one

                                    I have raised a complaint on water dripping a week before but till now no one attended it. I have a small baby she is unable to sleep for past one week. Hitach is performing such an irresponsible job. I never expected this. I never suggest my friends to buy hitachi anymore. I am very frustrated.

                                      I am very disappointed with the hitachi ac which i bought on[protected] at bajaj electronics. I am writing to seek a refund.

                                      I bought an air conditioner 1.5 ton, 3 star on 28th april 2016 which has came to my home on may 2nd week and was installed on later dates. I had lot of issues such as gas leaking, water leaking from indoor unit (See pictures attached), no cool air, outdoor unit making lot of noise, water leakage from outdoor unit right after within a week. I filed a complaint, then technicians came and did some repairing but not solved the problem. I kept calling the customer care later on dates and technicians keep coming (4 times) but there is no solution for ac problems. The final technician who came on 9-aug - 2016 also confirmed all the above problems. I felt that its better option to replace the ac.

                                      I called a local hitachi cro named bhanu chander (Cell:[protected]) and explained the case, he still wants to send the technician again but not ready to understand the case to replace the ac and is lying that i just called them 2nd time. He refused to listen to my problems and then asked me to confirm the number of times i called the hitachi customer care with them. Later i called customer care to confirm this, they checked the records and said that i called 4 times. He behaved very unprofessional way and is arrogant towards me.
                                      Finally once again he sent the technicians to my home, being already visited my home they concluded that ac has multiple problems. They said that i will receive a call from their office to speak about replacement on 14 - aug-2016. But i did not got a call from anyone. Again i kept calling the customer care 3 times from aug 14 till today, they are saying that they will send technicians but no one came.
                                      I am very much tired with their rude service. Finally i decided to get full refund of the ac cost. Please help me in this case as soon as possible. I am attaching invoice and water dripping pics of the ac. Thank you.

                                      if any will ask about hitachi I will give 0 marks out of 10 and not advice about hitachi. my brother using blue star and voltas AC he is taking care of customer an closing service with in 48 hours
                                      I have purchase window ac 2 year back. Product is very burst.

                                      This year we have amc contract for same ac with amount 2400 . Not providing service. We have complian in 30 th of agaust. Today 4th of agaust. But no service. As per my openion, hitchi is day light theef.

                                      Hihtach is working like nokia, will repeat nokia story with hitach soon.

                                        Complaint is pending since 24th aug. There has been no satisfactory resolution of the same.

                                        The ac is a brand new ac and after sale service is horrible. All fraud service technicians and they are just fooling customers without even checking the ac

                                        The service engineer is just fooling the customer by saying the the remote control of ac is not working and that he will replace it tomorrow. But never comes to help or repair/replacement

                                        At the same time at the call center the feedback is that the spring motor is not working and no spares are available, which frankly is not our problem. This issue was never discussed with us and not even known to us as the technician told us only about the remote control.

                                        Dont know whom to trust. Its been so exasperating to deal with a bunch of incompetent people like them.

                                        Whatever the case is either fix it or they must replace it with a new one within 24 hrs. We have paid money for this and its a brand new ac
