On 8th nov 2015, the unfortunate day we landed at kohinoor electronics, godhbunder, thane west to buy a fridge. The salesman there sang praises of hitachi saying there has never been any complaints regarding this so-called premium brand. Without much ado, we bought the hitachi 3 door model no - ffrsg37bpn. We were happy with our purchase so much so that even my mother bought the same unit.
But only till the last week of may when ice started forming around the interiors of the fridge. We spent 3 days in just following up with the shop, customer care and service centre. We were almost about to take legal recourse, when they finally sent mr riyaz to check the machine. He came and repaired it. It was working fine till today. Now the cooling has completely stopped. I have lodged a complain again for prompt service else everything in the fridge will rot. But knowing the history, i am sure we are not going to get any prompt service.
Very pathetic!!! I am not going to recommend this brand to anyone. U promote it as a premium brand, but its not been a year now, and it has gone into repairs twice. How different is your fridge from any local brand?
I need a complete replacement of the unit since if within one year it can break down twice, then i cant imagine what will happen in the future. Else i need refund of the fridge amount. If none is done, i am definitely going to the consumer forum cos this is not some cheap fridge. We have paid more than 50000 for this. This is not a small amount for us.
I need immediate response from your end.
